"of course i know the owner. i'm jaewon, i know everyone. y'know, even back in seoul —- i was a fan favorite. fans obviously being bartenders and waitresses. managers and owners liked me, too. but i guess that comes with, well, frequency of visits," he comments, lilt of his voice fading away as words continue pooling outside of his mouth. there's sorrow in it, on surface missing the days of youth spent carelessly inside hongdae's clubs with complete strangers, dizziness and palette of neon colors illuminating hazy faces; though if one's fingers dug deeper inside the hurting flesh, they'd find regret, curled in a ball and protecting itself from the prying eyes, so small and alone.

he realizes his tone quick, however. and in the natural sense of moon jaewon, he laughs the gloom away and off with the same old nonchalance that he is known for. hands raise to feel what damage has been done to the back of his head — already imagining a bruise, though it's an overreaction — and that, too, he shakes off. everything passes, in the end; what matters is the here & the now.

"you're such a good boy, haru. you're twenty-six, not sixty-six and two steps away from entering your eternal bed. live a little." then, a pause. he swallows. "i was joking, by the way. sorry. it was harsh. you're not boring. and you're not holding me hostage." jaewon takes out a glass (one most certainly not appropriate for the type of drink he's pouring into it: a club goer, though he's not getting paid for this), pours himself the liquor — for him, the straight he's offered the older prior, turns his head away from haru, downs it with an ugh. "we can pretend, though. how good of an actor are you?" 

it's a question of an innocuous nature, foolish and without a depth to it. ignorance is a bliss —- or a curse.

"do you want to stay here or go up? you can even say you're threatening me. like the glory scene but like, less brutal and not real, obviously."

he returns jaewon's smile because that seems like the only proper thing to do in this situation, however precarious the upturn of his own mouth is in comparison to the other's easy-going one. like a mime, a puppet and a puppeteer, like if he imitates the way jaewon disappears beneath the steady surface of the lounge's bar counter, fingers already trailing over the choice of bottles, he'll be able to bite the bullet and let loose just like he does. like it's that easy, really, to abandon twenty six years of protocol and etiquette built into your body.

the reality is that he hovers near the tattoo artist's crouched figure, barely able to stifle the bark of his laughter when he hears the thud of his head against the cabinet. he's too slow to offer his hand as a protective barrier from the quartz, but he's quick enough to slide a few 50,000 won notes across the top, using a whisky glass as a makeshift paperweight. it's a somewhat precursory apology to bottle tops' staff. contingent on whatever they're going to end up swiping from the inventory.

"you know the owner." he repeats verbatim, putting no effort into sounding even vaguely like he believes him. he already knows that if he asks too many questions, he's going to chicken out, so his footsteps are loud against the floor when he's retreating towards the fridge because even this isn't enough to convince haru that liquid courage is a necessity.

that, and the persistent feeling that at least one of them's going to have to be sober for the end of the night.

he hums under his breath almost absentmindedly, musing out loud as he's rustling through the fridge. "i think i'll play good for the night, since you made it sound so appealing." he takes two out even if jaewon doesn't ask for one -- because jaewon doesn't ask for one now, more like, which means he'll inevitably ask for one later. the smile's audible in his voice when he sets the two cans down. "you know they're more likely to believe that you're the hostage, right? you look like you're trying to drown your sorrows with all of that liquor."

Funny, Anon!!!!!! ~~~~~ I don’t really have defined opinions on the series that come after the first four, with the exception of Appmon and Ghost Game. So, sorry if I will skip those other three!

Adventure 01

• Mimi: My princess💕. Along with Katara from ATLA, she’s my own definition of what a girl character should be written like, but I don’t think you want to read long explanations😂.

• Michi: Mimi was a second mc by Taichi’s side. I feel like she had a mirror role in comparison with Taichi’s, as if she’s some sort of girl icon for the franchise. I don’t know how to explain it, but she has got so much presence in the anime, in the merch, in posters; she is voiced by AIM which allowed her to have her own ending, and somehow it feels like this fact makes her omnipresent in the history of the Digimon anime. Wishful thinking, but I like them together because of so many other reasons. THEY JUST CLICK SO WELL.

-Adventure 02

•Miyako: I know I know, she’s not that jewel of character when it comes to her writing, bur her concept has always intrigued me even when I didn’t know Digimon that well. She’s funny, clever, she’s connected with Mimi, she’s also got such a cute design ngl. Can I say she’s my favourite because of these shallow reasons? I think I will find many others when I rewatch 02.

• Daiyako: MY GUILTY PLEASURE. They’re so precious in each other’s regards, always being in the middle of teasing sessions but eventually showing to care about each other so much ? They can work platonically too, and I love pairings that are amazing both platonically and romantically.

-Tamers

KINDA HARD, I will admit it. I like the characters from Tamers but I don’t feel that connected to them. I used to have a huge adoration for Jenrya but it faded somehow. I like Ruki and Hirokazu but not that excessively. I relate to Juri sometimes but she has got so many moments that make me cringe out. It’s … A complex relationship…

• Takato: Again, I’m not THAT attached to him but he is a huge cinnamoroll and a great new beginning for the franchise. I like he’s so ordinary and creative, because…I can relate🤣. And I admit people often call me a girl Takato, sooooo🤣. Like you can see, I don’t have anything to say ahahahha.

• Rukato: MY BBIES, my bbies who are so pleasant at the sight too, thanks to their matching palettes. I confess I come from being a huge Jenruki shipper. Then, I’ve grown bored of those two and I’ve started getting so attracted by Ryouki and Rukato, but the latter eventually won especially because of Runaway Locomon. How could I keep myself from shipping those two after that film? I know there’s Jurato, but the future dramas made me dislike the way things develop…

• Eri: I like how she finally brought back a kind of digigirl who could be considered a real character with an interesting story, a nice and quirky personality, meaningful relationships. I had got tired of so many sexualized and pretty uninspiring digigirls (starting from Frontier era SIGH).

Eeeeh I don’t know. I liked Eri and Torajirou but I’ve discovered he’s 11 and she’s 14, so ehmmmmm. Even if the anime pushed it a bit, maybe it’s not the case to ship them ahaha.

I’ll go with • Haru x Yuujin because they are a parallel Jurato✨.

-Ghost Game

• Emma: I KNOW SHE IS NOT PART OF THE TRIO AND SHE APPEARED FOR LESS THAN AN EPISODE, but she ensnared me and makes me salty whenever I see her, because she would have been a perfect four member. Leave me alone, I need to cry and mope.

• Ruri x Kiyoshiro: The total flop this shipping was because in GG the kids had 0 interesting interactions and I want to cry again, because why is that anime so unfair. Still, I ship them, I don’t care. Ruri had her small teasing moments with Kiyoshiro and their personalities CLASH. Idk Ruri would take him to the worst night trips in forests, parks and he would tag along because Jellymon’s and Ruri’s personalities are so perfectly aligned!

Barangkali, itu kalimat pertama yang ingin aku ungkapkan, jika ditanya tentang kesan di Pemilu 2024.

Terimakasih ya Pak, sudah berjuang untuk maju, menjadi salah satu calon presiden yang membuat kontestasi Pemilu terasa lebih ada 'ghirah'nya.

Jujur, di 2014 dan 2019, rasanya jengah sekali. Setiap membuka medsos, isu-isu SARA yang menjadi bahasan. Kampanye yang begitu-begitu saja, membuat bosan untukku pribadi melihat perjalanan kampanyenya. Karena paling ya, begitu saja tren-nya. Blusukan ke warga-warga, kampanye di atas pentas sembari bermonolog di bawah terik matahari, juga bagi-bagi amplop *eh.

Di 2024, Pak Anies dan tim menciptakan atmosfer yang berbeda. Desak Anies dan Slepet Imin, menjadi model kampanye yang berani tampil beda di sejarah pesta demokrasi Indonesia.

Dalam Desak Anies dan Slepet Imin, terjadi dialog antara capres-cawapres, dengan audiens. Audiens bisa menanyakan apa pun, bahkan mengadukan keresahan apa pun.

Ini menarik.

Melihat bagaimana para calon pemimpin kita berdialog dengan rakyat biasa maupun para mahasiswa, yang penuh dengan keluhan dan kritik yang beraneka ragam. Gaya kampanye ini meruntuhkan gaya konservatif, dan aku tidak bisa bilang tidak, gaya kampanye ini adalah gaya yang mendidik rakyat.

Buatku pribadi, ini mengagumkan. Bagaimana capres-cawapres bahkan memperhatikan bagaimana strategi dalam berkampanye. Memperhatikan bahwa proses pesta demokrasi, bukanlah sekedar pesta untuk yang akan maju mencalonkan diri. Tapi senyatanya, pesta demokrasi haruslah dirasakan sebagai 'pesta' oleh seluruh masyarakat Indonesia.

Meski tidak bisa langsung mengikuti agenda Desak Anies, aku adalah salah satu pendengar setia rekamannya di Youtube. Pak Anies selalu menyampaikan di setiap dialog, bahwa Desak Anies adalah cara paslon 01 menawarkan 'cara berpikir' mereka. Menurut beliau, rakyat harus tahu bagaimana cara pemimpinnya membuat keputusan, dimana keputusan lahir dari cara berpikir. Menurut beliau lagi, pemimpin itu tugasnya membuat keputusan, maka sudah seharusnya rakyat memilih pemimpin dengan cara berpikir yang paling relevan. Aku semakin kagum dengan strategi beliau.

Terbayang, menghadiri berbagai dialog pasti adalah hal yang menguras pikiran dan tenaga. Belum lagi jika ada kritik-kritik yang perlu dijawab, betapa melelahkannya. Tapi Pak Anies dan segenap tim, tetap memilih proses yang 'out of the box' ini demi mendidik rakyat dalam proses pemilu. Selain juga pasti ada misi menjaring suara.

Pak Anies, kuakui adalah sosok yang memiliki kelebihan dalam public speaking nya. Beberapa pihak bersentimen negatif, menyebut kelebihan ini sebagai 'omon-omon' belaka, atau 'janji manis' tanpa eksekusi nyata. Beberapa juga berpandangan, orang yang ucapannya manis di mulut, tidak selalu baik dalam bekerja. Tapi, kurasa itu logika yang tidak selalu benar dan tidak bisa dipukul rata. Kecerdasan berbicara tidak berarti payah dalam kerja nyata. Tidak bisa dihakimi begitu saja. Dan lagi, rekam jejak selama Pak Anies menjabat Gubernur Jakarta pun dapat kita pelajari di berbagai platform media sosial.

Ada lagi yang menarik menurutku. Performa Pak Anies saat debat. Aku kebetulan menyimak debat ketiga secara live via Youtube. Disana, Pak Anies tampak begitu 'menyerang'. Jujur, sebagai orang yang tidak suka dengan konflik, aku agak jengah menonton serangan demi serangan tersebut. Tapi, secara jernih aku mencoba berpikir. Acaranya ini judulnya debat, lagipula saat itu temanya adalah pertahanan, dimana salah satu paslon adalah juga menteri pertahanan. Wajar kalau terjadi kritik yang pedas, dan harapannya yang bersangkutan piawai dalam menjawab. Namun, seperti yang kita lihat dan saksikan sendiri, yang terjadi justru sebaliknya. Ah, sepertinya tidak perlu kujelaskan, netizen bisa menilai sendiri dengan mindsetnya masing-masing :)

Aku tersadar, bahwa saat itu Pak Anies sedang menjalankan peran, sebagai seorang kontestan yang berdebat. Terimakasih Pak, sudah menjalankan peran sesuai dengan situasinya.

Lalu tentang visi-misi. Aku belum membaca dokumen visi-misi paslon secara lengkap. Tapi beberapa kali, aku melihat postingan yang mengutip visi-misi dari para paslon. Dan, aku melihat hampir di setiap aspek, Pak Anies selalu memiliki visi-misi yang digagas. Di isu kesehatan, ekonomi, sampai diaspora pun beliau tuangkan gagasan. Dokumen visi-misi yang lengkap ini amat membantu jika kita ingin mencari isu yang menjadi fokus kita. Dan rata-rata mostly isu-isu tersebut ada di dokumen paslon 01.

Tidak hanya itu, muncul juga berbagai gerakan organik seperti aniesbubble, humanies, senimanbersatu, dll yang mendukung perjalanan kampanye Pak Anies. Pak, rasanya saya susah membayangkan gerakan-gerakan seperti itu terbentuk jika tidak ada ketulusan (apalagi tanpa bayaran), karena satu tujuan menginginkan perubahan.

Oh ya, aku juga respect dengan para pendukungnya yang tetap objektif meski mendukung paslon AMIN. Contohnya, pada saat debat cawapres. Patut diakui Cak Imin masih sangat blunder ketika itu. Tapi, para pendukung mengkritik dan menasihati, bukan menutup mata atas kekurangan itu. Dan alhamdulillah, Cak Imin pun terbuka dan menerima kritik. Di debat berikutnya, performanya lebih baik daripada sebelumnya. Membayangkan Indonesia dengan pempimpin yang terbuka, berkepala dingin, mampu memproses (bukan hanya menampung lalu jadi angin lalu) kritikan, luar biasa sekali rasanya.

Pak Anies, aku berharap, apapun yang terjadi selepas Pemilu, Pak Anies tetaplah menjadi Pak Anies yang seperti ini. Pak Anies yang menginspirasi, dan terus menyuarakan suara rakyat, terlepas apa pun pilihan politik Pak Anies. Aku sudah di titik pasrah dengan hasil Pemilu. Pak Anies terpilih ataupun tidak, Allah sudah mengaturnya, bukan.

Namun, setidaknya rakyat mendapat pendidikan yang berharga sepanjang perjalanan pesta demokrasi ini. Dan semoga, terus terdidik dan naik kelas demokrasi di Indonesia.

Pak Anies, terimakasih karena banyak kalimat Pak Anies yang menggugah dan terngiang di banyak orang. Aku jadi teringat salah satu ayat Al Quran,

Tidakkah kamu memperhatikan bagai-mana Allah telah membuat perumpamaan kalimat yang baik seperti pohon yang baik, akarnya kuat dan cabangnya (menjulang) ke langit (QS. Ibrahim ayat 24).

Salah satu kalimat yang aku ingat dari Pak Anies adalah saat Pak Anies membicarakan prinsip kebijakan. Kata beliau, "Membesarkan yang kecil, tanpa mengecilkan yang besar.". Maknanya, dalam sekali. Dan kalau itu menjadi basis dari setiap kebijakan, rasanya Indonesia Adil Makmur untuk semua bisa terlaksana.

And, the last. Terimakasih Pak Anies, sudah menggerakkan saya untuk menulis. Baru pertama ini, saya mendukung dan memilih calon pemimpin sampai dituangkan dalam sebentuk tulisan.

This is fun! Poking fun at Hanabi the way they're both doing and even Hanabi can't deny that this doesn't feel good. She's been so...well, she's been so worried about her mother and anxious about being in a place such as this one that even Haru could tell that she was weighed down.

"BUT you weren't even walking. You were just standing there. Like a sneaky sneak!" Haru chirps, putting in his two cents.

"Of course you think he's funny." Hanabi says to Haru with a pout. "No more insects for you."

She's joking. She couldn't keep these treats that Haru loves so much away from him.

"a-Anyway, I will admit I wasn't paying attention. But you were also very, very silent. Like a ghost...OR A NINJA."

This bird is so funny.

Playing into the melodrama of it all, he sighs his disbelief.

"Don't insult him like that. This is the most empathetic and well mannered bird I've ever met." Tutting at her frankly weak defense, he fought and managed not to roll his eyes.

"If walking like a normal person is a crime, lock me up. Can't help it if you aren't paying attention."

Peran Kebaikan #01

Setiap orang sudah Allah berikan peran kebaikannya masing-masing. Kotak peran tersebut pastilah berbeda-beda antara satu orang dengan yang lainnya. Peran kebaikan itu sudah Allah tentukan takdirnya.

Sikap yang harus kita lakukan adalah memaksimalkan peran kebaikan tersebut. Kita harus bisa mengambil peluang untuk bisa memaksimalkan peran tersebut.

Jangan merasa iri hati dengan peran kebaikan atau kotak kebaikan yang dimiliki oleh orang lain, karena setiap peran kebaikan satu dengan lainnya memiliki keterkaitan satu sama lain.

Tugas kita adalah memaksimalkan peran kebaikan tersebut, agar peran tersebut bisa memberikan kebermanfaatan untuk umat Islam dan umat manusia di seluruh dunia.

Biasanya peran tersebut tidak akan jauh dari doa-doa yang sudah kita ucapkan dan skills yang kita miliki. Seperti aku, aku termasuk orang extrovert dan sangat menyukai kegiatan sosial. Alhamdulillah Allah berikan aku peran kebaikan dalam bidang sosial dan peran tersebut memberikanku tanggung jawab untuk selalu berinteraksi dengan banyak orang.

✦∣∣ The short laugh that leaves him is one of amusement in response to the bird's attempt to take flight. Wei Wuxian can't help but find it endearing that such a small creature would have so much fight to them. He could come to admire such a quality.

✦∣∣ "What tricks does he do? He seems very intellectual. My crows were more so for alerting and intimidation...however, some of them used to bring me trinkets here and there. At some point, I had a collection of bells and coral beads. Where they obtained such items I haven't the slightest clue-"

"I know it's not the same thing, but you can have a pet here. Haru was brought here with me. The stars were kind enough to allow it, I think. But I heard you can get these eggs? And from it, an animal of your choosing can hatch!"

"Just like my times with Hikari, my pet dog." Hikaru was used to have a dog at her home, grown even. After the time she defeated Emeraude, her time with her pet was temporary until she ended up in Spirale for years now. She's glad to see master and pet together as Haru is taking baths happily.

"Ah, i'm jealous. I wish i could have a pet here too. A dog, would rather." Can't blame Hikaru having a penchant of dogs.
