"Oh! That's so cute!!! They're super smart, aren't they?" She pokes Haru on the forehead ever so gently and smiles, "Haru over here can grab things I want too. Let's see, he can't talk BUT he'll chirp a song when I ask him to do so." her attention is back on the gentleman.

"Speaking of crows though, there is a lady who controls a lot of crows herself and has a pet crow. Have you met her?"

✦∣∣ The short laugh that leaves him is one of amusement in response to the bird's attempt to take flight. Wei Wuxian can't help but find it endearing that such a small creature would have so much fight to them. He could come to admire such a quality.

✦∣∣ "What tricks does he do? He seems very intellectual. My crows were more so for alerting and intimidation...however, some of them used to bring me trinkets here and there. At some point, I had a collection of bells and coral beads. Where they obtained such items I haven't the slightest clue-"

        ❝ Umm... ❞ danny's head tilted, arms crossed across his chest even as his brow scrunched. he didn't really know where the other had come from, only that he hadn't noticed the other man until he'd been flagged down. and then, of course, the questions. ❝ That's kind of... personal, don't you think? There are just some things you don't ask ghosts, man. It's rude, you know? ❞ at least the guy hadn't asked danny about his 'death'. that would have gotten him hit with an ectoblast back home, no doubt about it.

    still, it didn't feel like the guy meant to come across that way, so danny was at least more willing to hear him out otherwise. he was a lot more polite than any ghost hunter he'd met, that was for sure.

✦∣∣ "So even a place like this has its own ghoul and ghosts? I can't say I'm surprised but I am curious…what exactly do you haunt? Anything specific or are you just one of those free-roaming types?" Wei Wuxian asked in curiosity as his eyes studied the boy in front of him. Quite young for a ghost but then again- The cultivator couldn't help but dismiss the thought from his mind. He was no stranger to those who roamed into the physical plane from the afterlife if anything he was a ghost himself at some point or another. Rumors even labeled him a vengeful spirit if his memory serves him well. But that all feels like centuries ago. Time is an odd thing.

"OHi! Crows are so, so pretty! There's a lovely lady who actually has a pet crow herself. He's hard to spot though." Turning her attention to Haru, she smiles and points at him, "He does some tricks. He can't block out the sun though. He's too small."

Haru flaps his wings and chirps. Almost as if he's saying he'll prove them wrong. He doesn't take flight though. HE IS small.
