I really expected Neville and Bellatrix to have a whole one-on-one duel, like—

I can understand why Rowling made Molly be the one to do it with the Mother Protects Child plot point; but I thought Neville would definitely do the book some amazing justice by taking out Bellatrix because him dueling against one of the most powerful witches would have shown how accomplished he had become as a wizard after struggling through his school years with academics, and just taking her on would show just how brave he really was.

Like he was afraid of Snape, man. And then just goes head to head with her, in spite of knowing just how dangerous she really is.

It would have been glorious!

i will never get over how dumb it is that molly weasley kills bellatrix. like why molly? other than jkr’s desire to create an extremely simple, not thought out at all “theme” around mother’s love, why is molly even involved?

bellatrix’s entire storyline hinges on her relationships with various family members. the only thing that makes sense to me is her being ended by another family member.

i don't think people understand how hard it is not to ship tomarry / harrymort because what do you mean they're borderline canonically soulmates. what do you mean they're PROPHESIED to each other. what do you mean they're literal parallels, had the same childhood circumstances but turned out the exact opposite. what do you mean harry's the embodiment of the light side and tom's the embodiment of the dark even though they're so, so similar. what do you mean they both have common names even though they themselves are anything but common. what do you mean they have uncountable amount of bible references that apply strictly to them, what do you mean harry makes sure to mention tom's the handsomest in the room whenever he sees him and apparently likes their connection. what do you mean their wands share the core of the same phoenix and therefore literally can't kill each other even if they wanted to. what do you mean harry wanted to give him another chance despite everything he's done, what do you mean tom offered him his hand, what do you mean harry killed tom at the same age except the order of the numbers is reversed. what do you mean harry's eyes are the same colour as tom's favourite unforgivable (avada) AND the colour of his house, what do you mean TOM'S eyes are the colour of harry's favourite defence spell (expelliarmus) and the colour of his house. WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY ARE EACH OTHER'S OTHER HALF. WHAT DO YOU MEAN HARRY IS LITERALLY TOM'S SOUL??? 😭

More so to the fact that as much time she spent in Azkaban, she crazy as fuck but she still has her without her without her brain melting and left like a shell of a woman.

She was the only Death Eater able to deflect Dumbledore’s “round-up” spell in the Ministry of Magic, valued important enough for Voldemort to take her out of the Ministry before Disapparating.

She was the one placed in charge Malfoy Manor, running the show, where Snatchers take people to her if they think they know about Harry Potter. It’s their house, but Bellatrix is running this motherfucker.

She casted the Gemini Spell (the duplication spell) and the Flagrante Hex on everything in the vault because she knew she was keeping the Gryffindor sword in her vault and had to protect it so that if anyone entered it somehow, everything was burning the Golden Trio.

She can cast the Cruciatus Curse in its full affect without trying, effortlessly.

I just hate when yall in your posts about Bellatrix make her stupid. like literally, this woman probably is one of the most intelligent witch ever and you think she can be dumb enough to set a fire accidentally, while cooking, and start to laugh??? or can't sleep without teddy bear?? no pls
