When my friends invited me over for a game night I expected something more like Monopoly, Mario Kart, Mario Party, Trivial Pursuit. Candy Land, or maybe even Sorry would've been better than this. Somehow Joshua wanted to show me what they did for this week's episode of Going Seventeen, but he wanted to add a twist.

“Oh come on you know Strip Poker.” Joshua said as my face warmed up. “Of course, I know Strip Poker you fool!” I said and hit his shoulder. “It's just like that but Rock Paper Scissors cards. And strip poker!” He smiled. “Why would I want to play that with you idiots?” I deadpanned at the man. “Because it'll be fun, having the attention of all of us-”

That is the exact opposite of what I want, Three very attractive idols staring at me while we bet clothing??? No. “Sorry, I'm late.” Jihoon announced coming in from outside.

Fuck.

Make that 4 attractive idols staring at me while we bet clothing.

“Ah, Jihoon-ah, you’re just in time my friend.” Joshua smiled and sent a wink my way. I grabbed the closest bottle of wine to me and made my way to the couch, if I had to be stuck here, no way was I going to be sober doing it. “y/n?” Jihoon asked. “Are you playing?” “I thought our dear could join in the fun tonight.” Joshua said. “So you normally play strip poker with your friends?” I asked eying Joshua. Chan did a spit-take. “We’re doing what?” he asked. “Oh no this is a special occasion brought to you by the one and only, Xu Minghao.” Joshua smiled. “Don’t give me all the credit, I said it as a joke.” Hao hit him. “And who better to be our fifth for the night than our dear friend y/n?” I was nudged by the oldest in the room.

Of course, this was a plan, of course it was all Joshua’s doing, that horny bastard, the only way it could be worse would be if Jeonghan was here, those two would cheat while the rest of us would be entirely naked, meanwhile they’ve only lost a sock. Does anyone want to remind me why I’m even here? Why I agreed to this?

“You don’t have to play if you’re really that uncomfortable.” Jihoon looked at me, a slight concern in his eyes. “What and miss Jisoo in his tighty whities? No way, he’s losing today.” “Okay well rules are the same as always, we won’t make you go full nude, but if you keep playing and losing, you’ll have to take a shot once you run out of clothing.” Joshua clapped his hands and handed the cards to Jihoon. “You’re going down pretty boy.” I smiled at Joshua. “Bring it on.”

Fuck Lee Chan for looking like a schoolboy! Fuck Xu Minghao for wearing that fucking tank top, Fuck Hong Jisoo for his smug fucking face, and fuck Lee Jihoon for looking so goddamn tasty in those stupid suspenders. Here I am, with no shirt, no socks, just a bra, shorts, and underwear still on. Chan, our poor baby, just keeps losing he’s down to his boxers at this point. Hao decided his indoor sunglasses count so he’s faring better than anyone mostly still clothed, and that punk Joshua just has his shirt off, claiming he would’ve taken it off anyway he was getting hot.

Jihoon’s arm flexed as he poured a shot, it’s unfair! I’m stuck here! I’m being tortured! I’m stuck with my 4 hot friends playing strip poker, and I don’t even get to see them not wearing anything! How am I the one losing!!! Well….I guess Chan is worse off than I am. He’s fine! “How many more rounds are we playing?” I huffed “Scared those shorts are coming off next?” Chan raised his eyebrow. “No! But it’s getting late, and I’m getting cold.” I stated, suddenly there was a warm jacket around me. “Jihoon-ah! That’s cheating!” Joshua protested. “They’re cold.” he brushed off the elder. “Fine, final round? All or nothing?” Joshua raised an eyebrow and looked at the others. “What all? I don’t have an all I’m down to my underwear.” Chan protested. “Aww, cute little Channie.” Joshua smiled. “Okay, all or nothing, the losers take 2 shots and lose the rest of their clothing, minus the underwear.” “Deal” we all said in unison. The cards are dealt, we look, the room is silent….Minghao flips his card first, Scissors, Chan next, also Scissors…. “Well boys looks like you are gonna be losing those clothes-” I started, flipping over the rock card. “Not so fast Y/n” Joshua chuckled and produced the paper card. “YOU’RE A GOD DAMN LIAR AND A CHEAT HONG JISOO!!!” I yelled at the male across from me. “I’m just lucky I guess.” he shrugged the smirk never falling off his face. “Come on. I won.” he made a look behind me I didn’t quite catch.

I shimmied the shorts off myself and gave them a dramatic spin, I had worn a nicer set than usual today without knowing the consequences of my own actions. The blue set was adorned with lace, and accompanied by the same shade and lace for the bottoms, but in the form of hipsters instead of traditional underwear. “Yeah yeah, you’ve had your look now get out.” I chuckled and threw my thumb at the door signalling the men to get lost. “I can’t believe you dragged Jihoon into this too.” “I don’t think he minded much.” Joshua winked and helped Minghao put on his long coat. “I’ll help you clean up y/n” Jihoon smiled at me calmly. There was a quiet darkness in his eyes. Something bubbling behind that sweet smile and gentle nature. “You don’t have to Ji, it’s okay.” I threw my shirt back on to cover up. “This is the last time I host game night at my place.” I mumbled as the others began leaving. “Goodnight y/n!” Chan called out as the Uber arrived to pick them up, Minghao still red in the face after having lost to Joshua at strip poker. I waved to them from the window.

“Did you have fun tonight?” Jihoon asked coming up behind me, making his presence known, his hand on the small of my back. The ever-present partner stance he took in private. “Until Jisoo very clearly cheated I did yeah.” I rolled my eyes and turned around to pick up the various beer cans strewn about the floor from the times we would throw them at said male. “I’m never letting him come up with the ideas again.” I chuckled to myself. “What makes you so sure this was Joshua’s idea?” Jihoon raised an eyebrow. “Strip Poker? Come on he clearly came up with it.” “Maybe…with a little suggestion.” he shrugged. “And who else would suggest such a thing besides Jeonghan?” “It may have been mentioned in passing when we were working on a song.” he tried playing nonchalantly. “Lee Jihoon are you trying to tell me that strip poker was your idea?” “Oh don’t act so surprised doll.” he smirked and tied off the trash bag. “I’d been looking for an excuse for them to see something they could never have.” “You sneaky little mastermind! You wanted me to strip in front of your friends?” I looked at the man who had started spending more time with me than in his studio. “I said I wanted to keep us private, but that doesn’t mean I won’t find ways to show you off.” “A warning would’ve been nice!” I slapped his arm away from me slightly. “You don’t mean that you love surprises.” he moved behind me, his hands on my waist. “Besides, you know how worked up I get having to play pretend all day.”

This side of Jihoon was dangerous, the side that came out when he had been pent up, he had overworked himself and wanted to let go and have fun, he loved the feeling of when you let go and basically crawl into his lap. Just having you encompass him, he just loves having you to himself after showing others what they can’t have.

“Now it’s time for the real fun?” he raised an eyebrow. “Uuujiiii,” I whined out at the man and he effortlessly picked me up carrying me away to the bedroom.

He truly is a mastermind when it comes to games and game night.

Regulus' muscle memory making him hurt in every way possible, he walks down the right side of the stairs because Sirius always took the left. Him knocking on the bathroom door because Sirius always forgot to lock it. He throws the door open in anger, bursts into tears while in the shower right after.

Regulus making an extra cup of tea or coffee (depending on the day) for Sirius because he always liked the way Regulus made it. He throws the cup across the room, ignores the blood from the broken pieces touching his fingers.

Regulus going to Sirius' room in tears hoping he'll comfort him after a bad nightmare just to remember as he opens the door that Sirius is gone. He lays on his bed curled up and aching.

And why can't you come back?

Prompt 2 - The Room of Requirement

“You would do well to remember your place, Sirius,” Walburga said sternly before she strode from the Great Hall. Sirius ignored her and kept stroking Remus’s fur, willing him to wake. 

“Please forgive me, Remus. I am so sorry,” Tears spilt from his eyes for the second time that day. He hadn’t realised how much Remus had come to mean to him. If only he hadn’t hung around after he'd struck their deal, but Remus had been like no other soul he’d met. His bargain had been for selfless reasons, unlike most of his clientele.

“Sirius, Sirius, I found a loophole!” Regulus came racing into the Great Hall. 

“It’s too late, she already got to him,” Sirius said sadly, looking up from the beast on the floor. Regulus gasped. 

“She turned him into a Grim?” Regulus said, taking a step backwards. 

“What was the loophole?” Sirius asked, it didn’t matter, but he’d like to know just the same. 

“The contract says the 31st of October, but it doesn’t specify which 31st of October,”

“But it’s always been the first Samhain after a deal is made. That’s the way it’s always been.” Sirius stopped petting Remus's fur and gave his undivided attention to his brother.

“No, that’s the way our family does it, but it’s not actually in the contract that it has to be the first one after the deal is made,” Regulus told him, getting excited by the stream of information he was giving. 

“Is there any hope? Can I get him back?” Sirius felt a spark of hope igniting inside him. Just maybe he could fix things. 

“Maybe you should go to the Room of Requirement and see if Dorcas has any insight on the matter,” Regulus suggested. 

“I can’t just leave him here,” Sirius said, looking back down at Remus. 

A large yellow eye stared back at him, contracting as it focused on him. His ears moved, pinning back on his head, his hackles rose, and he bared his teeth. “Remus,” He whispered. The Grim growled at him and jumped to his feet in one fluid movement. “Reggie, get out of here,” Sirius ordered, placing himself between Remus and his brother. 

“Sirius, come on, he’s dangerous,” Regulus called out to him as he backed towards the doors. “Just leave him,” Sirius looked sadly at the feral beast before him. 

“I can’t. I love him,” The Grim blinked, and the yellow eyes turned to a more familiar honey. “Remus,” He breathed, and the Grim bowed his head. 

Sirius raced forward and hugged Remus around the neck. “I’m so sorry; I’m going to fix this, I swear. I’m so sorry, Remus,” He buried his face in Remus’s soft fur and felt Remus’s giant head press into him as he hugged him back. They’d figure it out together. 

“Lucifer, you’re fucked,” Regulus scoffed as he left them to it. Sirius didn't even notice.

• Makes his own chocolate in the shapes of roses, if you like white chocolate he will even dye them red with green leafs.

• Takes you to a botanique garden, pointing at flowers that remind him of you before revealing their meaning. He also brought a cute, little lunchbox with food that you can share.

• At home you would be pulled into a comfy, cuddle session, while he showers you in kisses and tells you how lucky he is to have you by his side.

• He gives you a bouquet of flowers, it contains red, white (and even a black) Rose, red & white Carnations, pink Asters, magenta Zinnia's, Heliotropes, Hyssops, Sweet Pea's and White Gardenia's.

• Failed at making chocolate so he just decorated the cupcakes with it, some slightly resemble those cute animal cupcakes. Just with very melted faces and wonky chocolate ears.

• Tenebris plays a love song that he composed for you on his guitar. If you praise him for it he will blush.

• Doesn't really get why valentines is that important to some people. He also buys the chocolate the next day when it's on sale & shares some of it with you.

• Thought the mistletoe tradition was also used on valentines day. He was very disappointed & confused when he learned that it's a Christmas exclusive thing. ("But it's all about kissing and Valentines is all about this shit! Your kind is really confusing, y'know that?")

You two sat on the ground, backs leaning against the couch as the sound of button mashing echoed in the room.

Curses, popcorn and the occasional tease were thrown around. A few kisses were thrown in to distract the other from winning the game.

Of course, this lead to where you two are currently now; on the ground, laughing, arms wrapped around each other as Tenebris purrs in delight.

• Will bring you still beating human hearts instead of chocolates. One heart has a love message carved into it but you can barely read it with how mutilated it looks.

• Cooked a fancy dinner for you two, the table would be covered in rose petals with candles illuminating the room.

• Casanova would swoon [And be his overdramatic-self] over whatever gift you give him. Get ready to be praised, hugged and kissed, for best results get him a red & black coloured fancy knife tho.

• If you ever hinted (be it serious or jokingly) interest in owning a chainsaw he would get you a custom one, so that you two could match.

Sitting next to a grave wasn't what others or you yourself would call romantic. But Casanova just knew how to change that.

Sitting on one of the Valentine gravestone's you listened to him, serenading a love song to you, his duo-coloured eyes never leaving yours.

Fiddling with the onyx ring on your finger, you slowly reached out to him. Silencing him with a kiss.

• Brings you your favourite sweets in a custom made box [tri-coloured like his shirt with stickers of your favourite animal/s on the box.] Which a custom, self-made plush swan is holding onto.

• Friend will take you to the cat café where you confessed to each other. He orders the valentine special, which is a strawberry milkshake with two straws and a plate full of diffrent sweet treats to share. [He will try to feed you and if you refuse he will pout, if you do feed him he will be happy but alsontease you.]

• Don't joke about marrying him on valentines, he will go and buy a ring if he doesn't have one already waiting in his pocket.

Friend nuzzled his cheek against your neck, arms wrapped around your waist as he looked towards you.

Pink glowing eyes were reflecting the love he held for you. Such a deep love that simply couldn't be explained by mere words.

With a teasing grin, he took a bite out of the treat you held. Licking his lips as he whispered into your ear.

"As sweet as these are, I much prefer to take a bite out of you, Sweetheart.~"

• Made a reservation at a restaurant so you could share a classic romantic meal together, dance on the roof under the moonlight and share a special moment fit to be in a romance movie.

If you prefer an at home date, he would of course spoil you with a home-made meal & cuddles in his semi-eldritch/human form.

• His gift to you besides the classic flowers, jewellery, chocolate (made by Ellie because his somehow caught fire and almost burned down his kitchen.) Is a book he wrote for you, filled with every reason why he loves you and hopes that you stay with him until time itself ends.

• Would love to get a book you wrote yourself in return. He would treasure it and keep it somewhere safe, not wanting to risk it getting damaged by anyone.

The moonlight shone down upon you two, candles burned gently as the wind rushed through your hair. As you took a sip of your drink your eyes locked onto Robin.

Who sat there silenty, skimming through the book you gave him before suddenly closing it. Grabbing your hand he placed a kiss on each knuckle, whispering a gentle promise against your hand.

3rd chapter of When the heart would cease, ours never knew peace almost almost done, but since it's Sirius' birthday today I thought I'd post a snippet in appreciation of our favourite diva whom I love an absolutely insane amount. Anygays here you goooo:

Sirius, whose prideful smile never faltered even when he knew it would cause him more trouble.

Sirius, who reserved his warm, true joyful, reassuring smile for only Regulus to see. That smile that truly lives up to his name, Sirius shines brighter than any star in the universe. He brings the sense of safety that Regulus has been missing for a painfully long time. He brings a unique type of calm and ease that only he can manage. Many would argue that Sirius is anything but calm, but Regulus knows the brother he grew up with. Sirius is the calm and the storm together at once. Sirius brings love and chaos and strength and so much goodness with him. Regulus has always admired his big brother for that. Sirius was his role model, the coolest person he knew. He always looked up to him and wanted to be just like him. How brave and adventurous he was, how he stood up to their parents with his head always held high no matter how much they tried to break him down.

That was from Regulus POV in case u couldn't tell. Anygays I'm gonna ramble a bit about how much I love Sirius after this, so if u'r not interested u can skip it.

Okay let's be real now, Sirius is so very fkn precious to me, he's the most comfort character that ever comforted me (and absolutely destroyed me at the same time) ever. February 10, 1962

On this day, we celebrate what would have been the 61st birthday for Clifford Lee Burton. Cliff Burton was an American musician/bassist for heavy metal band, Metallica. He was famously known for his infamous bass rifts in songs such as For Whom The Bell Tolls, Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth), and Orion.

Born in Castro Valley, California, Cliff grew up in a fairly normal life until tragedy struck after his 13th birthday when he lost his elder brother Scott. The tragedy lead Cliff to pick up the bass permanently and become the bass player to exist. With influences from his brother and also Rush bassist Geddy Lee, Cliff would practice for hours on end to make his brother proud.

After high school, Cliff entered college where he joined his first official band, Trauma. After winning battle of the bands in 1982, things got boring for him. That is until future bandmates James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich head hunted him to join their amateur band, Metallica.

Cliff shredded away on his bass, earning himself his rightful spot in Metallica to replace former bassist Ron McGocney. Bass became his life passion, and so did touring. There was only one thing Cliff loved more than his music: being home. As much of a thrashing metal head he was, Cliff was known to be quite the homebody.

After tragedy struck in 1986, the world was stripped away of his talent, leaving behind an unforgettable memory that'll remain in the hearts and minds of Metal Heads around the globe. February 10, 2018, his birthday had officially become known as Cliff Burton Day within the music community. Today is not to be a day for us to be sad of his memory, but to be grateful for the memories that remain to keep his spirit alive. At only 24 years old, Cliff truly did become the best bassist to have lived in the music community.
