I literally cried so much at episode 11. Like even at the sweet parts. Like theyre so in love so help me god. But what really got to me was that last scene. It was taken so beautifully. Like hyun woo chasing them down, haein not realising she was hallucinating. Her reaction as she slowly breaks out of it and he screams her name. The OST that is the cherry on top playing in the background, bringing it all together. True masterpiece. Beautiful acting. Like the subtlities. Jiwon and Soohyun are doing such a great job. When this drama ends, I'm going to have such a hard time letting go.

Two years ago today at Gamescom 2022, Director Choi made an acceptance speech that was so cringe that even Neowiz themselves clowned on it on their official SM outlet

For some context: BTS are one of if not the most successful musical acts to ever come out of South Korea and are both culturally and economically, enormously influential. It's not cringe because of the BTS mention but basically because the phrase "Do you know x" is almost parodying the typical oblivious Korean tourist. It's hard to really explain the nuances of it (as it often is with any foreign meme or cultural quirk), and to be honest, I'm not really sure I understand it either lol. Ah, I have never understood the importance of losing someone, especially a mother, in any story as what I saw in my liberation notes.

they were cleaning up the house after their mother's funeral and did the things their mother did before that. Mi-jeong threw away the burnt rice that was the last meal her mother made. Ki-jeong washed and spread her mother's clothes like other clothes of family members who were alive. Mi-jeong put her mother's boots in a shoe rack.

there was a kind of pause in all these works as if they wanted to remind of their mother a little more before erasing them.

Chang-hee takes care of his father instead of his mother and cries when he eats food that is no longer cooked by his mother.

all this just makes me cry with them without saying anything. with every look and tears I see in their eyes....

I’m super conflicted about this.

On one hand- I hear Hyun woo, he just needs her to stay alive, regardless of her memories. His hopes are that he will share hers and their memories with her as if to replant what she’s lost. But for Haein- he’s asking her to live as a blank canvas, to simply live, but if I’m going to live and not remember any version of who I am, those I love, is that truly living?

The way Haein looks so him when he asks her to live. You can see she’s simply shocked he could even ask her to simply give up all their memories.
