Made my mascot her own mini glasses! The only lps glasses I have are broken, sadly. That, and I love the little ones that people make for their pets. First handmade accessory and I think it could have gone worse. Not bad for a first attempt with no reference!

my Luna lapin
I've always loved rabbits and soft toys, so naturally I collect rabbit toys. Looking on etsy, I came across "Luna Lapin".
I was going to commission someone to make one after my rabbit. But after finding out you could buy the kit to make her ( " Make me Luna lapin"), I made her myself.
She is based on my Yellow Dutch rabbit, Amber.
Luna Lapin was created by Sarah Peel of Cool Crafting (you can purchase Luna and friends patterns on her website for cool crafting). She is a heirloom doll with a wide range of clothes. You cannot buy a ready-made one (under the website guidelines), but you can buy the kit to make her and her clothes yourself.
The Luna lapin and the t-shirt dress with detachable bow i made myself with the patterns from my "Make me Luna lapin" kit. I adjusted the fabric pattern of Luna to base her after a Dutch rabbit instead of the original solid colour pattern.
This felt coat I bought from HandmadebyHJCshop on Etsy. She handmade it herself following a felt coat design by cool crafting. This colour pattern was her new 2022 Lavender.
As you can see in these close ups, I actually opted to make her nose more like a simplified rabbit nose. The pattern actually called for an inverted triangle nose.
The t-shirt dress I made with detachable bow. Buttons are wonky.
This is my Amber, who I based the pattern on. By far my friendliest rabbit. Very pretty too. She will be two years old in October.
I emailed Cool crafting to see if I could get Orange fabric instead of the original options. They sent me this photo of their reds. The closest to Amber was the Pumpkin spice, so that's the one I requested.
This project took me longer than hoped due to executive dysfunction and depression. I finished Luna's body on 5 September 2021, finished her dress on 10 January 2023. Her body took ages due to handsewing, but her dress took three days (started late on second day) due to a sewing machine.
This Luna is quite unique in that I haven't seen another Dutch luna Lapin yet. I am over the moon with the results and finally have a plush based on my beloved rabbit, Amber.
Luna Lapin traditionally comes in Luna grey, Snow white and Blush. These are shown in order above. This photo does not belong to me and was taken from the Cool crafting website.
Even though she was finished early this month, I have scheduled this post for The Chinese New year as it seemed very fitting.
Happy year of the rabbit!

Roronoa Zoro ⚔️
He's made from a head swap between a G2 Persian Cat body and a fake short hair cat head with his clothes, hair, ear spike, earrings, and eye scar being made from Apoxie Sculpt. His sword handles are also made from Apoxie, with the blades being made from a thin sheet of plastic.
♤
I wanted Zoro to look bulker, then my other customes, and Sanji, so decided to build him of a Persian Cat base to give him more of a beefy look ( I had to cut off a lot of the fluff from the base after a few attempts at sculpting the clothes, though, as they weren't sitting right). Zoro's my joint first favourite character in One Piece, so I spent an ungodly amount of time tweeking his design until I was happy with him. I wish I could have made his face a little more angular, but that's me nit picking again. Overall, I really love how he came out :)))
