Sunday seeks refinement in every aspect of his life, this does not fail to extend to how you'll dress yourself while tied to his prestige as well. Sifting and digging through uncountable articles on women's fashion, extensive research on sources to make his vision come to life — Sunday hadn't even put this much effort into drafting his own style. What beget this initiative is rooted in his innate desire to make your connection to him clear through means sans saying it outright, though he'd much rather present it as his attempt in searching for a style that is uniquely yours ; which he does wish for to a degree, not to fret.

Your clothing will be weaved from scratch with the finest threads, silk and satin will be cut, folded and stitched to perfection. Even the measurements of your clothing will be penned down by the man himself : skirts must be of moderate length, not too long or too short and necklines must be modest. Said attires will be painted in shades of white, blue and gold ; his colors in short. But anything under these graceful dresses will be sleek black, a secret that'll never meet the public eye. The motifs of his halo will be skillfully engraved on the canvas that is you ; woven on the dresses, tempered in jewelry to adorn your hair and ears and not even your shoes will be spared.

The principle Sunday follows throughout this charade is complexity through simplicity. While one might think you'd look much like an over-groomed poodle after this, the gentle elegance of the reality will surprise even you. That is because Sunday practices caution in areas that are easy to complicate, jewelry for example. He's partial to earrings, bracelets, brooches and hair ornaments — not necklaces as he prefers the unobstructed beauty of your decolletage. Aventurine has no patience for subtlety and employs bold tactics to get his message across. Should someone be naive enough to interrogate the man himself in his extravagant displays, he'll be unflinching in his reasoning as well. No amount of zeroes attached to the price tags or repeated cursory glances from passerbys will deter him in his shopping spree and should you complain about the mounting amount of bags — well, he has two perfectly functioning arms and adjacent shoulders sparkling in their vacancy, doesn't he? Your job is to just point out what catches your eyes, sweetheart.

The Stoneheart has discovered a sweet spot for matching since you entered his life ; which will materialize in earrings, bracelets, rings, hats, sunglasses, coats, chokers and the list goes on. Even though he gives you fair chances in choosing your attire, he'll not so discreetly sneak in pieces that'll reek of him. In occasions where this charade gets spectated by more than two pairs of eyes, Aventurine is less teasing and more edified in his intentions. Blue, pink and emerald coating fabrics that expose more than they cover will mock wanton eyes and they'll say loud and clear — this will never be yours.

Aventurine's favorite part has to be picking the perfumes for you. If you already have preferences, he'll scout the finest brand of that fragrance and make sure no other being in the expanding universe will be able to acquire it from then onwards. It just so happens that he also sees the importance of securing something that is uniquely you. If you're indecisive about perfumes, then even better! You can be doused in the fragrances he indulges in, keep no doubt that they'll be tasteful.

All this glamour might give the impression that Aventurine never allows you or himself to ever be stripped of the fanciful, glimmering and glittering layers oozing with the repute of uncountable credits. However, you were pleasantly surprised to find his lax attitude concerning your nightwear. You did not see any flickers of that ravenous flame concealed beneath enigmatic smiles even if you wore something bruised and tattered by time or, if you stole something from his wardrobe upon a random urge. Perhaps in moments overlooked by the light of distant stars, he treasures above all the sight of you in your most natural state, and wishes he could indulge in the same vulnerability as well.

The prodigious Veritas Ratio loves watching you get dressed, although there's a scarce chance of him openly admitting to his shameless ogling. Ironically, his genius receives negative marks when he tries to search for a rational reason as to why he continues regardless of your teasing — which, just so happen to never have sufficient burn to deter him for good. There's an odd sense of peace in spectating you building your look, in the movements of various tools and scattered, dexterous hand gestures. To him, it's almost synonymous to sculpting ; shaping something unremarkable to a display of skill and artistry.

Ratio thinks studious scholar should never limit their perspectives, which is why he tries to broaden his agenda with new experiences constantly — or at least, that's the excuse he ultimately settles on. He's yet to tell you of this, but he's certain he's acquired quite the quantity of knowledge on makeup from his observations. He knows the difference between foundations and concealers, in which order the cosmetics are applied and has a decent understanding about shades and highlights. It's safe to say, you can rely on him on this matter should there ever arise such an occasion.

When it comes to clothing, Ratio appears to be quite indecisive, form fitting or loose, he has no issues. The area where he is particularly strict, is hygiene. Which means no missed baths, or any half-hearted showers. After he's found himself comfortable in your presence, he'll take personal initiative to make sure your baths are never boring. Fragrant body washes, essential oils, exquisite rose water, bath bombs, shampoos — he has it all covered. Another astounding discovery for the scholar was that he adores taking care of your hair, in particular. He always takes extra caution when washing it, buys smoother combs so that it might not get damaged and occasionally tries different hairstyles — though he's not very skilled at it. But learning has never been an effortless process to begin with, he's sure he'll be able to decorate your hair the way he desires properly one day.

Blade seldom comments on your choice of attire, but it doesn't mean that he never thinks about it. He prefers to dismiss most of those bubbling thoughts, for what does a weapon understand of fashion senses and trends? What he does offer you instead are drawling stares tiptoeing before the line of glares. Insufficient time knowing the enigmatic Stellaron Hunter will prove your inefficiency in understanding his brooding gazes. Should you directly ask his opinion on a certain outfit, it'll not earn you more than a grunt or a hum. But coming from Blade, that would be considered a lot.

In truth, Blade finds himself bewildered before the feelings you stir within him through the most mundane actions. He was certain that wanton emotions, urges and his humanity were devoured by the curse. For centuries, he wandered without a definitive purpose, stewing in the rage and hatred bubbling from his fate. Above all, he did not think himself human. So when you, in all your bright and humane light dug through the battered cage of his ribs and made yourself its soul resident, tugging him closer closer closer towards that tunnel's end through seemingly meaningless antics — Blade was lost.

It made him afraid sometimes, for the unreachable end that he always clawed towards seemed to lose its appeal before you. When he realized one day that he liked lighter colors on you, that he enjoyed watching you practice a hairstyle for hours, that he loved how your lips shimmer after a swipe of lip gloss, that he'd not trade the matching tassels you gifted him on a whim for the universe — the appalling realization that living is just a tiny bit more bearable with you around crashed on his beliefs and destroyed him beyond repair. Which is why, for the longest time, he didn't know how to respond to any of your gestures ; far too occupied with processing whether its the talons of mara digging into his sanity or just plain pleasant emotions.

Blade is often irresolute when you ask for his opinion on your clothing, not because he has not the faintest idea of what is considered appealing but because, you just look good in everything in his eyes. There's a particular garment though, form fitting Qipao with cheeky side slits that had him run the first time you wore it. Only after Kafka's reassurance that no, it isn't his mara was he able to gather the courage to approach you again. In conclusion, be prepared for every possible outcome when you're dolling yourself up for Blade.

While some wondered if Taylor would appear at any NYFW shows this week, a sporty outing to watch a fellow American Taylor (Fritz) in the US Open final is just as fun. And such great symmetry! The gingham print of this dress is sweet and breezy. It calls to mind picnics on the grass, apple pies, and Americana. In other words, a wholesome and summery piece to wear when supporting an American athlete. Love!

The brand is also a longtime Taylor staple. She’s been wearing Reformation pieces since 2012!

Taylor has been on a bit of a Louis V kick as of late, adding these monogrammed earrings to her latest run of pieces that have included two bags and a pair of boots.

Among Taylor’s style pillars include the art of the high/low (mixing high end designer pieces with more approachably priced items) and indie designers. To my eye, it looks like Taylor has added a new eyewear brand to her collection - the humourously named Crap Eyewear which are founded and designed in Los Angeles, CA.

Taylor’s jewelry was, once again, a lot of repeats. Pieces that she’s worn and loved and had in her jewelry box for awhile. Both bracelets seemingly haven’t left her wrists since she wore them to the Chiefs vs Ravens game last week. The #Tiffany ring was an addition she wore on the Eras Tour stage during the first round of dates in London. The #Foundrae crest necklace was worn back in January of this year. Set into a crest, this collection for Foundrae is a celebration of love in all its forms including romantic, platonic, and self. Taylor’s discography, of course, famously “a love letter to love itself” which makes this a perfect piece for her. 

The Retrouvai pieces are also familiar. The ‘Magna’ ring Taylor wore to the Super Bowl earlier this year. The heart ring you might recognize as from the “I Bet You Think About Me” music video which Taylor’s friend Blake Lively directed. This ring also just so happens to be Blake’s. It was a bespoke commission as part of the brand’s Heirloom collection and comprises an 8-carat heart shaped rubellite set off with a halo of 2.5-carat diamonds. Designer Kirsty Stone described Blake as a “true jewelry lover” and the “incredible” opportunity it was to design something for “her personal collection.”

I want to talk about all the details I put into the Ties comic cause I worked on that thing for like a week and my brain likes to think about many things

Anyway, pspspsps I'm info dumping about my own designs gather round.

Notes for the character designs themselves

-The colours show if they are Red/Yellow/Green are different per character. Tango with bright colours, Skizz's are cool and dark, Impulses are more yellow, and Ethos are more desaturated. -Not all characters in the Life Games will get colour indicators in their eyes, the fact 3/4 of the designs here have it is unimportant shut -Impulse has a heart knot in his tie!! Look at it!! -Impulse cannot tie a tie. Tango does it for him. -Tango having his tie undone is his own choice -The choice of them having/not having pupils is intentional. -Etho only has the one on one side, maybe its cause the red eyes a little fucky in the vision, who knows though -Impulse has i's in the eyes -Skizz just straight up doesn't have em, but I normally don't draw pupils with that iris shape anyway. something something normally only draw that iris style with certain magical characters -I just stopped drawing with Tango with iris' at some point, idk -Skizz is designed as a fallen angel. that's why the halo's are all separated/broken, and why you can see darker feathers growing -maybe Impulse used to help him dye them white cause of some insecurity, maybe not -the lower his lives go, the less dark feathers are seen in his wings. like a cruel joke the watchers get a kick out of

-Etho is a sentimental mf /pos. they will keep and make a lot of patches for memory's and stuff. notable patches are, The NHO patch, a creeper cause of general Spazz, Canada flag cause Canadian /j, I normally add rainbow ones for the button saga of s7 but forgot to this time. -the rings are from all their divorces /J -the colours on the rings correlate to their owners (Bdubs, Cleo, Joel) lives. ie will be red if one of them is red kinda thing.

-Tango and impulse also end up giving Etho bracelets as well -All the bracelets Etho gets share their colour indicator + the colour form the person who made it!

-you can see the colours slowly shift when Skizz ties on the bracelet, something something the magic of the world does some shit sometimes man.

-Skizz taught Impulse how to make the bracelets, so they have similar styles, Skizz's is more of a simple braid style though. -Tango went for something that took longer to do. it is a little scuffed /pos

-Ethos been getting their ass handed to them the episode before this, had to rightfully reflect that. you know? /j -the Slashes across their chest where form when Gem/Cleo killed them twice in that one episode. -The bite was originally supposed to be cause of Scars dogs. But someone in a reply made a joke about it, and frankly I think it'd be funnier if it was cause of Joel or some shit like they said.

-Had the axe as more of a battle-axe style. It was something Impulse made for Skizz (I forget who actually made it//Didn't want to go back to check) -I like showing characters having specific styles/ways they make armor and tools. -It's fun to show characters with tools and armor that can be distinctly seen as being made by another player

-That being an axe Impulse made adds more weight to the narrative of this moment and I want people to cry -something something for Etho its a moment of taking a weapon that Impulse made to protect Skizz, and using that as the tool that finally kills him -For Skizz this is a moment of his trust and care for his teammates. Being surrounded by people that he cares about and tokens that show their love for each other.

-Suffer, I could have been angstyier, and I will be actualy.

-Skizz is the one putting the axe to his own neck in this moment. Etho is putting as little force into it as they can. -Red king parallels who- -Etho also gets cut by the axe, something about sacrifice and how no life/time can truly be free in these life games -The blood wasn't actually intended to be golden ichor, I was just lazy and didn't want to draw red blood// wanted to have the cool lighting effect -Etho has the same colour in their blood too so, take it as you will

-I've had this comic planed since EPICODE ONE. had full intentions for it to go angsty in the end, and dam if the narrative didn't play right into my grubby little hands.

-I also just love how well I could parallel the moments in this comic. the comparison of the pages where both their faces are visible? the Joy in ethos face turning to complete anguish? the fact Skizz never stopped smiling? the way both moments start with an outstretched hand, and end with Skizz still holding onto Etho in a moment of trust? beautiful

-all the pages in the second part of the comic were framed specifically so I could avoid drawing Skizz ass.

Ellie watched you, she always did. From the way you twirled pens between your fingers, to the small rants you'd nearly bore your friends with, she watched and enjoyed it all.

She’d do anything to be near you. To share a tender kiss, feel the warm breath against her face, your sweet touches of love. Wanting everything and anything as long as that meant she was near you.

That was to be expected though, ever since childhood, people had a liking and gravitation toward you. It was you who shined brighter than any star in her space and astronomy books. There were many late nights that she spent searching for a star named after you, because in her mind what universe would allow such an angel with deep, luminescent skin, to roam without a star named after her?

You were just so precious and brave. During the day she’d often daydream about your bright sweet smile, and the contrast against your skin just made you look so much sweeter. It wasn’t just your teeth that made her feel some type of way, your hair catches her eyes constantly.

The changes of styles every couple of weeks placed looks of adoration on her face, each style bringing out a different feature on your face. Long braids? Your eyes looked bigger, somehow even prettier to peer at, but made it much harder to keep eye contact with you. Afro? It made her want to kiss your plump lips, maybe it was the clear lipgloss you put on every morning. Cornrows? Your cheeks looked fuller, like they were begging kisses. She loved seeing you play with the pink and clear beads in your hair, to you they made you a little self conscious if they clinked too loud, but Ellie loved them. It lets her know you’re near her, anticipating soft kisses on her neck.

To everyone it was clear that little nerd Ellie had an interest in you. What was obvious to everyone was not to you. Usually you could sniff out a crush in any instance, yet when it was right in front of you, you sat clueless. It was okay though, bought Ellie some time to collect herself before she confessed to you. However, there were differences between the two of you which made her hesitant to confess sooner.

You were higher in popularity, she was a shy dork. You could light a room up with your laugh, while people would stare and bicker at her if a snort left nose. Nonetheless, nothing stopped Ellie from confessing her love for you.

It was a warm spring evening, she had been planning the date for weeks now.

The sun was to set in 45 minutes, allowing the two of you to eat, talk, confess and watch the sunset. Pink peonies, carnations, roses, baby’s breath and a bunch of eucalyptus sat in a tall vase. She knew your favourite colour was pink, so she went all out. There was a collection of things you said you’ve wanted, she could recall multiple window shopping adventures where you would point at nearly everything pink that caught your eye.

“Ellie look, it's the big stuffy I’ve been wanting.”

“Wait Ellie y’think these bracelets are pretty?”

“Els Els this is the perfume I’ve been dying to get. Smells like roses or somethin’”

“Ellie did you know they sell my favourite bonnets and lipgloss here?”

She was more than ready to finally have you as hers when you walked out of your house in a baby pink sundress that reached just below your knees.

Fuck she looks good.

“Y-you look pretty.” Ellie stuttered out.

“Thank you, look even better” you smiled, a little shy with the tension in the air. You were almost positive that Ellie was confessing today, so to fit the mood, you made sure to wear a comfortable dress that accentuated your plush body and dark skin.

She held your hand the whole way to the spot where everything was set up, Dina carefully adding last minute touches and making sure everything was perfect. All these feelings and thoughts were new to Ellie, but she made it her mission to do her best with the advice from Dina.

As you guys approach the spot walking in comfortable silence, love drawing your eyes to connect to each other every few steps, she helps you down onto the blanket giving Dina a short wave from the distance.

As you sat, you took notice of the little gifts scattered across the blanket, your heart swells with feelings of fluster and shyness creeping onto you. This was just as new to you as it was to Ellie, it was the first time someone had done a big gesture for you. When you saw Ellies short auburn hair, shimmery eyes and beautiful lips you knew whatever she's going to say will make your heart pound like it's no tomorrow.

“You know I’m not the best with my words sometimes but you’ve shown me the beauty at times when I thought life was ugly. You were truly my lifeline when I thought the world was gonna kill me… thank you, I just– I just want you to know how much you mean to me.” There's hesitance and nervousness in her voice before asking. “Can I be your girlfriend?”

You softly smile looking into her gaze and cupping her face, sinking your glossy lips onto hers.

“So.. was that a yes?” Ellie asks against your lips. You press your foreheads together letting go of the kiss, “Yes, that was a yes Els.” You say playfully.

Everyday since then you get to experience the quiet parts of Ellie. Secretly getting excited to see her cheeks tinted pink when you kiss her in public, or the times she's bashful when you kiss her hand. Love was making you hazy, going on walks together, holding each other close on cold nights, and her rambles of space with your full attention was all she ever needed.

The halo you wore was full of  love, nothing else can come so strong.

And it’s shit, BUT. I gave them some different outfits/styles whatever tf. I’m happy(ish) with it.

Because of the type of brush I used, I can’t add a background or else this happens:

Desc:

I decided, let’s make these two, even more HuskerDust theme than normal. So I gave them both some of each other’s colors. Angel’s boots, are the same color as Husk’s umbrella, along with his tail and eyebrow markings. Angel also has hearts on his boots now, just like Husk has hearts all of him (palms, eyebrows, etc). Husk now has X’s on his fur (with his tail and eyebrows yk) they both have piercings/jewelry (husk has a pointer finger ring and two ear piercings while Angel has an eyebrow piercing and a bracelet and shoulder band)

Husk’s little eyebrow and palm hearts (hardly visible) are the same color as Angel’s Fishnets(on his legs anyways). Angel’s cropped fishnet shirt, has a heart with an ‘X’ through it. That symbol is the color of Husk’s OG color for his wings and eyebrows (along with it being another heart)

Husk’s Shirt (under his suit jacket) is a very (VERY) light pink for Angel. And his bow also has ‘x’s on it.

And so on

Clothing desc: Angel has a cropped, sleeveless shirt with fishnets underneath. Both in which are pink. A symbol of a hear with an ‘X’ going through it on the front of the shirt. Angel wears a lilac skirt (I decided why tf not) with black under shorts. Has gold fishnets up to knees underneath his heart-shaped boots. Has multiple piercings (hidden: tongue piercing) and bracelets. Also has a choker.

Husk has a crimson/fading suit (which, I just wanted Husk in a suit cause why tf not???), with a (very) light pink undershirt. Printed bow (darker red than OG). And ear piercings.

Not gonna lie, those fuckin signatures took me forever. I was originally gonna go with a cat-scratch like look for husk, but then I thought ‘this bitch was an overlord once, and look! He wears a suit atm’ so I made it foncy~

They both have little faded symbols/initials behind the actual signature (Angel’s is a classic, glitter pen A, while Husk’s is just a heart lmao)

The signatures also have little spins to them. Husk has all the playing card symbols by his name, while Angel has that little under marking, that looks like an arrow, but is just an ‘Angel’ wing on one end, and a star on he other (put together may look like ‘Cupid’s arrow, which works as well, especially for Angel)

And then their color pallets, which are explanatory enough (the four on the top were used for both of them, despite it already being in their color pallets, I just wanted to show it more)
