Oh hey. I learned a bit of magic at the jewelry store that I’ve forgotten to share, please pass the blessing along.
Have you ever had a knot or tangle in a metal chain? Especially the very fine ones, it can be impossible to work them out with your fingers.
My friends, all you need is a thumbtack. In a pinch, a toothpick, needle, or any fine thin stick will do. I have never been defeated by a knot with a thumbtack in hand.
You stick the pointy end into the trickiest part of the knot and slowly just work it in. The knot loosens around it, and I’ve used this metaphor for acupuncture too because it’s the same principle to me.
But anyway, I’ve untangled chains women brought in that have been stuck multiple hellish kinks and knots for decades. It never fails to astonish them, and honestly it’s fun. Very tricky knots can take longer but it always works.

Breakfast:

Useful TS3 shortcuts you might not know about - quickly copy and recolor! (GIF)
• Hold Shift while dragging a palette to recolor the entire floor or wall
• Ever get frustrated copying objects with an eyedropper? Hold Shift and place the selected object to copy it without loading it! Works in both Build or Buy modes, can copy Debug objects with no codes ;)
• Hold Shift and drag fence or wall tool to create a room; hold Ctrl to remove the wall or fence
These shortcuts have saved me lots of time! I rarely use both sledgehammer and eyedropper :) By the way, the support team has said that my tumblr is finally unbanned! Whew, let's see!

heres a better rewording of this post of mine:
your body isn't stupid. it doesnt do any habit that doesnt fill some kind of need. so you cant remove a habit without replacing it. that leaves you with a gap in your needs. so:
you want to drink less soda? well, drink more water/tea for hydration and get yourself some kind of candy to replace the joy you get from the sweetness.
you want to distance yourself from a friend? interact more often with the other people in your life for your social needs.
you want to play less video games? get yourself some card or board games for the mental challenge, and if the fast reaction time is important to you, get yourself a timed puzzle game.
you want to bite your fingernails less? get yourself some chewelry to keep your mouth occupied for the stim, and bring a nail file with you if you bite your nails for texture reasons.
you want to remove a toxic person who gossips from your life? well, interact more with others, but also consider engaging in (safe) kinds of drama, to appeal the way they added excitement.
look into what needs are satisfied when you do things, because the same habit can satisfy different needs for different people. but also consider what other effects they have on you, and if their might be better ways to satisfy those needs.
energy cant be created or destroyed, and that applies to your habits too.

how do i know if the eggs in my fridge have gone bad, or will soon?
Float 'em.
As an egg 'goes bad', gasses start to build up in the egg. That sulfur smell.
An egg that sinks to the bottom of the water is still fresh, but an egg that has 'rotten' gasses will float.
If it kinda gently bounces and slooowly sinks to touch the bottom while standing on end, that egg should be used ASAP, because it'll go bad soon.
