i've said before and i'll say again that dean "i've never had powers" winchester's anger at beings with power who aren't using them to help people is something i treasure so deeply. and that anger and frustration is such a huge part of dean's relationship with chuck.

but more than that... it's about the guitar, specifically chuck dipping for years at a time and messing around on the guitar...

because that is a dream dean has had for such a long time.

from the guitar in the background of his apartment in the 2.20 dreamworld to dean saying, "I want to be a rock star, but..." in 9.07 to fiddling around on the guitar and saying "who wouldn't" want to be a rockstar in 12.07 to this from 15.05:

meanwhile in both s11 and s14, chuck choses the guitar as a way to explore and play around on earth and express himself... yet never without the context that he has so much more power than any person does:

CHUCK: I didn't really learn to play guitar. I just kind of... gave myself the ability.

just a perfect comparison of chuck and dean having the same desire and yet entirely different feelings of responsibility and commitment.

i could watch dean smash god's guitar on a loop for years and never get sick of it

Music - Bellamione

It had been an argument at first; Bellatrix hadn’t attended school before Hogwarts, she and her sisters had studied under the governess and they’d been fine, but Hermione wanted their children to go to muggle school, to get them used to the classroom, and socialising, and all sorts of things Bellatrix didn’t quite understand.

In the end, she agreed they could try it. By the first half term, she sheepishly admitted to Hermione that it was a good idea - the twins loved school, and it helped that their teachers were always telling Bellatrix how clever and polite they were when she picked them up.

Now, though, she wished she’d never sent them there.

Music classes had started.

Orion had taken up the flute, and Delphi had chosen the violin.

As bright as their children were, they didn’t have a musical bone in their body. Hermione insisted they needed to be supportive though, and should listen while they practised (all evening long), giving them encouragement, and writing in their practise logs.

It was enough to make Bellatrix consider pulling them out of school. Or at the very least, hiding their instruments. It was torture. Worse than torture in fact, Bellatrix would gladly take a cruciatus over another end of term concert.

Even Hermione was losing her sanity - never in front of the kids, though. At night, they’d share their fantasies of losing the instruments, having them mysteriously destroyed - maybe one of Harry’s rowdy brood could accidentally break them.
