I don’t talk about my Winx rewrite very much. Let’s change that!

I made the (very wise, can’t change my mind) decision to re-build the world from the ground up. As my bf will tell you, world building makes me miserable. Fantasy world building makes me extra miserable.

So I’m doing a lot of lore research. Mostly through the wiki. Which just means too many tabs with a lot of reading that I’m not soaking up the information from.

And like the genius I am, I’m starting at Sirenix. If I can just understand and make Sirenix lore work it will be a fantastic foundation for the rest of the Magical Dimension.

Canon did a very good job of creating just enough overlap between the Guardian fairies of Sirenix and the Nine Nymphs of Magix. So I’m just closing the gap in my rewrite to combine the two. Which is where my problems begin and end. There are 9 in both groups, yes? Why can I only find 8 names between them? I have a total of 8 Nymphs/Guardians of Sirenix. Where is the 9th? Are we just all collectively agreeing Arcadia was the first Sirenix Fairy/Nymph of Magix? Do I accept defeat after months of searching and just say it’s Arcadia?

I have literally spent all summer with this simmering at the back of my mind. Just that needling question of who is the missing Nymph.

Ok, typing this out, speedrunning the stages of grief about it. Yeah, I can accept that Arcadia is the missing Nymph and just none of the wiki articles link to her because she has more important titles and the show never actually made the connection.

I fucked it up on the colouring bit. Especially on the baby raccoons Krel is holding. This is the second part of the Krexie Guardians of the Galaxy AU sorta thing. Where Krel has a change of heart towards the raccoons after Rocket told his tragic backstory. Hence why he’s comfortable holding the rescued baby raccoons.
