i've always liked a cute silly fun character in an ensemble cast who is routinely treated as weaker or even pathetic and ive always liked thinking about them being really messed up about that especially if theyre the type who spend a lot of time trying to prove themselves or impress the cooler smarter characters and it took a long time for me to realise i was just relating really heavily to the autistic coded character who's treated like a small child or pet
