Stupid doodles I did, yay:
It’s been a while since I’ve drawn any sanses or AU skellies :3 I kinda only really like how Dust and Horror’s doodles turned out tbh but the others are ok too :P
Horror belongs to sour-apple-studios
Dust belongs to ask-dusttale
Nightmare belongs to jokublog
Geno belongs to loverofpiggies

first I designed japanese glyphs for comic sans
now I'm designing japanese glyphs for my own cool kickass font for my racing game Accelerogue. don't say Wip3out. I know.
(would love to hear opinions on this from native readers of japanese)
#i feel like i Sorta Kinda Maybe know what i'm doing when it comes to designing JP font glyphs? when i did it for comic sans i was like#constantly researching (googling) jp references on “would they do this” + also checking fontworks a lot#when oomf showed their jp friends my comic sans they had little to add except spacing & thickness (both of which i already noticed myself)#so i do think i've got the hang of it by now#font#font design#typography#fonts#i promise i wasn't intentionally copying wipeout 3 it was like. i designed the word “accelerogue” in this font first (for the logo)#then i was like; okay yeah i 100% fw it BUT this means I Have Found The Game's Aesthetic + it only feels right if everything uses this font#and then i was like hang on a second isnt this literally wipe3out. and so i checked. and it was literally wip3out (but mine has fewer bends#carcinisation but with racing game fonts#i am going to be honest there are several other things that i was unintentionally also copying wipeout with such as.#the planned name-entry screen for records is gonna have a grid on which you can connect dots with lines. a lot like 2097's weapon display#certain items' behaviour as well#anyway im giving my own original spin on this. you'll be able to feel wipeout influence everywhere tho. but also f-zero x and possibly MKSC#this game is basically just going to embody my taste in racing games all in a single package

Modern Times Chaos Grid Imperial Stout Old Money Edition - Aged in Brandy, Armagnac, and Sherry Barrels for >2 years. A 4 of 4. Honestly my favorite version of this stout yet, and that's saying something, given the quality of the rest, from the base imperial stout to other barrel-aged versions. The barrels in this impart tons of oak but also tons of brandy and similar fortified notes. Just tons of complexity and very much a sipping one -- it's not the heaviest heavyweight at 11.9%, but it deserves the attention.

Chauncey Man San Leandro: Electricity Generation Methods
Electricity can be generated through various processes, each with its own advantages, disadvantages, and applications. Here are some common types of electricity generation processes shared by Chauncey Man San Leandro:
Fossil Fuel-Based Generation:
Coal Power Plants: These plants burn coal to produce steam, which drives turbines connected to generators.
Natural Gas Power Plants: Natural gas is burned to spin turbines and generate electricity.
Oil Power Plants: Similar to natural gas plants, but they use oil as the fuel source.
Nuclear Power Generation:
Nuclear reactors use controlled nuclear fission reactions to heat water and produce steam that drives turbines connected to generators.
Renewable Energy Generation:
Solar Power: Photovoltaic (PV) cells convert sunlight into electricity.
Wind Power: Wind turbines capture kinetic energy from the wind and convert it into electricity.
Hydropower: Water flowing through dams or turbines generates electricity.
Geothermal Power: Heat from the Earth's core is used to produce steam that drives generators.
Biomass Power: Organic materials like wood, crop residues, and waste are burned or converted to biogas to generate electricity.
Hybrid Systems:
Some power generation systems combine renewable sources (e.g., solar and wind) with energy storage systems (e.g., batteries) to provide continuous power.
Tidal and Wave Energy:
Tidal and wave energy generators harness the kinetic and potential energy of ocean tides and waves to generate electricity.
Fuel Cells:
Fuel cells combine hydrogen and oxygen to produce electricity, with water as the only byproduct.
Cogeneration (Combined Heat and Power - CHP):
Cogeneration systems produce electricity and useful heat simultaneously, improving overall energy efficiency.
Thermoelectric Generators:
These generators convert heat directly into electricity using temperature differences, often in remote or small-scale applications.
Microgrids:
Microgrids are localized electricity generation and distribution systems that can incorporate various energy sources, including renewables, to provide reliable power to specific areas.
Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC):
OTEC systems use temperature differences between warm surface water and cold deep water to generate electricity.
Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generators (RTGs):
RTGs use the heat generated by the radioactive decay of isotopes to produce electricity, often used in space probes and satellites.
Piezoelectric Generation:
Piezoelectric materials generate electricity when subjected to mechanical stress or vibration, used in some specialized applications.
Chauncey Man San Leandro's final words, The choice of electricity generation method depends on factors such as resource availability, environmental impact, cost, and energy demand. Many regions are transitioning to cleaner and more sustainable energy sources to reduce carbon emissions and combat climate change.

ERCOT Pricing on 8/7/23. It's 7pm, the temp is still over 100 in San Antonio. The map shows individual power centers when the cursor hovers over a dot. Top map is the dot at the top of the blue area. The negative price -211.88 means they can produce, but don't do it. They can't ship it. Bottom map is the little clump right above the blue, that's San Antonio [hence Alamo]. Price is $2063.61 per megawatt hour. Normal price is $45. That's forty five. ERCOT is not able to ship juice fifty miles. And this shows up on CPS Energy billing as Fuel Adjustment and Peak Capacity Charge. Ka ching$

Also that’s San Francisco. The tall buildings are where the most rock is to build on. In a highly seismically unstable city, located near a fault line, most structures in the area aren’t built higher than 2-3 stories.
New York city also has concentrations of taller buildings but much more spread out over manhattan island.
There be devils at work here

Modern Times Chaos Grid Double Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout with Figs & Cocoa (Picked up at the brewery itself in Point Loma). A 4 of 4. An incredible amount of things going on in this between the brandy and bourbon barrels, the base beer, and the addition of both figs and cocoa. Yet, it manages to not be discordant. There's a lot of barrel and liquor-like notes in the nose, while you get a lot of roast and chocolate in the body and some faint fig notes. The body is quite oily and sticky, and the complexity lingers on the palate.
