All in all it makes sense that they sleep together before they sleep together.

Wait. Maybe it actually doesn't, considering Teddy is a world class insomniac and doesn't, in fact, sleep most nights. At least not the whole night. He often falls asleep in the wee hours of the mornings and sleeps for a moment or two and then he wakes up again and drinks so much coffee that the caffeine is making him bounce on the walls the whole day.

But anyway, sleeping together is easier than sleeping together. At least for Teddy. Not that he strictly speaking has any experience of sleeping with anyone. He's twenty-one years old and sex still feels like a foreign concept to him, something that makes him giggle and blush just at the thought of having it. Sally thinks it's adorable and funny, Gray doesn't think anything about it, because Teddy hasn't actually told him that the idea of sleeping together makes him want to skyrocket into another fucking planet.

It's not that he doesn't want to have sex with Gray, he does and is feeling very enthusiastic about it, it's just that it would be… bad, maybe?

How do you explain to someone you love that you want them carnally, but you've never had sex before and you barely even masturbate because it makes you feel awkward and weird and you also don’t feel sexual desire that much to begin with, so it might only work for one time and that’s it for the rest of your lives?

The answer is simple: you don't.

A/N: hiiiiiiiii, here's chapter 2 of my gray/teddy fic. contains demisexual!button, loss of virginity, anal sex, all that fun stuff.

Talking with Sally is… enlightening.

She says a lot of words Teddy doesn't understand. Things like sex repulsed and sex positive, things like demisexual and asexual which is a word he already knows, but he always assumed that meant not wanting to have sex at all. Ever. With anyone. And Teddy wants to have sex with Gray. A lot.

Sally explains it all very well though and by the end of it Teddy is filled with confidence and dread in equal measure. She says that there’s no way to tell if it works out unless he tries it, because sex is never simple, especially your first time, which is what Teddy expected her to say, even though he kind of hoped she would have direct answers for him.

But she does draw him a few diagrams. They help surprisingly much since Teddy sometimes understands data better than actual talking. Occasionally, human interaction is as difficult as the thought of sleeping together with someone to him. Not with Sally or Nick, though. Or Gray. Usually. Things with him are a bit more complex. Maybe because Teddy is also in love with him.

It's raining nonstop where I am so I'm just picturing the Batfam during a flood.

Red Robin uploads a TikTok from the safety of a roof saying "watch him go!" As Red Hood keeps trying to drive his bike against the current. A big wave comes by and he's slowly dragged downhill. The caption reads "don't drive during floods".

Batman and Robin are on the ground helping civilians out of cars when the intensity doubles and in minutes Damian goes from wading knee deep in the water to swimming. The emergency batfloaties get triggered and he floats away as Bruce fails to grab him by half an inch. "Robin serenely drifting in the current" becomes a meme.

Someone takes a picture of a very flustered spoiler trying to squeeze the water out of her cape. The second she lets go the weight of the water makes her fall ass over backwards. Black Bat ends up giving her her waterproof cape.

Signal makes mirages of sharks in the water to scare the shit out of any criminals. Oracle uploads the recordings with Benny hill as background music. Bludhaven escapes the worst of the storm and Nightwing sends pictures to the group chat patting the barely wet concrete just to rub it in. He still slips on a puddle and eats shit, Barbara sends that to the group chat.

Headcanon that since Jason can’t go out with his family publicly, what he does instead is show up in random disguises.

Bruce is chatting up some socialites at a gala, talking about the joys of fatherhood and how rewarding it is. Meanwhile he made eye contact with Jason disguised as a waiter twenty minutes ago, and is currently trying to stop his eye from twitching.

Dick is speaking to a third grade class as a part of the Bludhaven Police department outreach program, except when he walks in Jason is sitting behind the teachers desk, playing the role of substitute.

Babs can’t help but stare when Jason hands her a coffee from behind the counter of her favorite coffee shop. (His name tag reads Peter, and for a second she thinks she’s actually lost it).

Tim walks into Wayne Towers one day and on his way in, he waves to his secretary- lo and behold Marjorie has been replaced by Jason. It takes him three hours to notice.

Cass walks into ballet class to discover her teacher had to take a sick day- his replacement is Jason in a beret who talks in a terrible French accent the entire class, only to drop it at the very end to talk in a thick New Jersey accent. Her entire class talks about it for weeks.

Stephanie hails a cab on her way home one night, only to find Jason driving. She’s not sure how he pulled it off or how he got a cab, but her mind is effectively blown.

Duke is on a school trip to the natural history museum, and when the tour guide introduces himself, Duke can’t help but role his eyes. Jason gives a surprisingly good tour, even throwing in some tidbits about a robbery that went down just last week that the Signal stopped.

Damian’s encounter happens when he’s with Jon in metropolis. He’s watching Jon play baseball, and when Jon steps up to bat, he can’t help but notice a the umpire looks a little familiar.

I think it’d be funny if Dick and Jason, due to wearing bright yellow capes on the job for years, are capable of stealth to a frankly unhinged degree. They barely have to try anymore it’s so second nature. Dick can just completely disappear while in the loudest neon clothes imaginable. Jason is constantly startling people who don’t understand how they missed a guy the size of a fridge standing right there. Bruce is extremely grateful for his unbreakable poker face because they have both startled him by accident and would never ever let him live it down if they knew.

Kent's cool voice filters through Aria's busy thoughts, cutting through in that usual way he has of grounding her, of bringing her back to reality. He entwines his fingers with hers, hands cold to the touch—as usual—and kisses her temple, taking a spot standing next to her by the kitchen counter. 

She'd stolen a seat on the counter a few minutes ago, when the shouting over who got to sing what next got a little too loud. Gray was insisting on singing ABBA, and while everyone thought his enthusiasm was admirable, his talent is anything but. Aria left right before Nick lunged to wrestle the mic away from him.

Not that Nick is any better of a singer.

Jason and Tim on patrol:

Tim: "Them, of course. They see all, but few see them." *points behind Jason, then slips into the shadows when he looks away*

Jason, seeing nothing, turning to find himself alone: "Tim, what the fuck-"

Batfam at movie night:

Tim halfway through: "They're watching." *again, leaves (for more popcorn, but the others don't know that)*

Everyone, thoroughly disturbed: "Tim, what the fuck does that mean get back here TIM EXPLAIN-"
