I always think about that moment in the bar when they casually drop Jean Paul Sartre and how armand talked to him like they were some long time chit chat acquaintances, It makes me wonder how many historical figures do they have beef/ friendships with. [Istg I need more fics with these dynamics]

I can honestly understand not liking jazz (and heavy metal, which for me occupy the same mental category. and I'll argue about this) because I do think truly enjoying jazz requires a certain technical appreciation (like heavy metal. theyre the same. i'll argue about this) which is perhaps beyond the plebeian music enjoyer such as myself. but rap? i honestly think anyone who claims they "don't like rap" is just close-minded lol. Like look at this:

thats music bitch. i'm sorry but that's literally a tune. If you look at this entire album conceptually it's immaculate, now I'm just a little vince staples fan but this is probably one of my favourite albums of all time. it's so thoughtful but brutal, just this harsh depiction of reality told so bluntly. it's literally poetry in the most honest and raw sense!!! someone who has lived the things he's talking about!!! And that's just one example, there's so much out there and so much variety- for instance I think many self-proclaimed nonrap enjoyers might like something like tribe called quest:

This drawing session turned out really good. Skoodge is a bit off but he's cute so it's okay

I looked up a reference of someone landing with a parachute to fix Zee's pose and it did really help with figuring out how to get her legs

I really really struggle with using references. I don't really get how to use them and never have
