tea or coffee: Coffee though I'm not against tea at all and will admit I haven't drank as much coffee as I used to, I stopped during one summer cause it was too hot and I think I may have lost my idk taste? tolerance? for black coffee but I do get iced french vanilla coffee from mcdonalds like once a week lol. I ran cross country and no fuck by way would I have lasted a week on a low carb diet. Fucking impossible.

My hs health teacher was a good one who literally even walked us through the healthiest chipotle orders lol, he’s pretty cool. Anyway, he taught us all about portions!!! And not only your overall portion for a meal but portions for each food group.

Most people aren’t gonna adhere to them perfectly and that’s fine. You just gotta make sure you get fruits and veggies and things either vitamins. Not to mention amino acids! Those are needed to make proteins (like those in muscles) and your body can make some but not all of them itself. This means you need to eat stuff with the right proteins to get the amino acids your body can’t make.

Variety! Figuring out if you just want to eat or if you need to eat! Listening to your stomach not your tastebuds! These are all things that help you not eat too much or too little

High calorie foods aren’t evil, you just gotta make sure you also eat foods with high nutrients, which could be some of those high calorie foods! Like potatoes, also try to eat a bit of the potato skin, it has half of the fiber! But the nutrients are inside so you can get your fiber elsewhere if you can’t stand the skin.

chipotle order? I have a couple. My favorite is tacos with black beans, veggies, extra corn salsa, lettuce, and guac. Chipotle’s expensive and the tacos probably give you the least amount of food for the price though. If I’m being more economical, I’ll get a bowl with white rice, black beans, carnitas, veggies, corn salsa, and lettuce. That can usually stretch two meals for me lmao

thoughts on veganism? As a dietary choice I have no real thoughts. Why should I try to control what other people eat?? As a philosophy/movement... ehh... I only think it’s bad when people start policing other people’s lifestyles. Especially without regard for finances, health, culture, personal morals... basically ignoring the fact that it’s obnoxious to act like your way of life is so much better than everyone else’s and that they need to live exactly like you do... As for a more personal take, mmm it doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. I personally prefer a focus on sustainability and humane farming. I think humans should seeks to be a part of the ecosystems they inhabit rather than exploiting them or cutting themselves off from them entirely. Hunting, farming, etc. aren’t inherently bad imo. The issue is greed and the prioritization of profits that leads to animal abuse and overhunting to the point of endangerment/extinction. 

a specific color that gives you the ick? Basic ass answer but it’s gotta be that yellowish green color that looks like puke. 

mythical creature you think/believe is real? Another really boring answer, but none :,) Not to say there’s not a single mystical creature that could exist... but more like I don’t tend to strongly believe (or disbelieve) unproven things. I’m more of a “maybe, maybe not” kinda person lmao. 

favorite form of potato? French fries fuckin slap... but not all french fries. McD fries are my honest fav. Generally though I love when they’re thing and crunchy. Gnocchi also really fuckin slaps. 

do you use a watch? I used to. I uh... kinda lost it though. I don’t really like the feeling of wearing a watch, so I would only wear it when I left the house, usually for work. I kinda had a bad habit of taking it off and leaving it places especially when it was dead and uh... yeah. I’m fairly sure it’s in the house SOMEWHERE but I have no idea where to look. I kinda really miss it though.

what animal do you look forward to seeing when you visit an aquarium? Hmm I actually haven’t been to an aquarium often enough to zero in on a particular animal. I like pretty fish tanks though, I’d say that’s what I’m most eager to see when I visit one. 

do you change into specific clothes for the house when you get home? Nah I’ve even fallen asleep in jeans and a hoodie lmfao I’ll usually change for bed, but idk I generally wear comfortable clothes. I don’t even wear actual jeans anymore... they’re like some kind of stretch cotton or smth

do you have a skincare routine (and how many steps is it)? my skincare routine is that when I touch my face and realize it’s all greasy, I wet my hands, wipe my face, rinse my hands until they no longer feel covered in oil and repeat until my face feels less gross.

Drowning sounds absolutely terrifying and like the kind of thing you would be very aware of right up until you black-out (which would take way too long and feel even longer subjectively). I hear burning to death is one of the worst ways to die, and I don’t think I’ll challenge that idea. It sounds pretty horrific from what little I know.

thoughts on mint chocolate chip? It’s one of those things that sounds like a good idea but in reality becomes too much very quickly. Also I kind of hate ice cream with chunks of stuff in it, so the “chip” part definitely drops it several degrees.

an anxious compulsion you do everyday? Hmm... I’m not sure and I’m already starting to overthink it so I’m just gonna skip lol

your boba/tea order? Standard milk tea with no toppings (aka boba) is probably the easiest since it’s available literally everywhere. If a place has jasmine milk tea though, I found out I fucking love jasmine milk tea. One of the local shops has a milk tea with cheese foam (it’s like a salted cream cheese foam and it slaps) and they top it with crumbled oreo and omfg it slaps. it slaps sosososososo hard. They didnt put oreo on it for a while and I straight up almost fucking cried when I tried ordering again and it DID have the oreo. 

the veggie you dislike the most? HMM... first thing that comes to mind is eggplant. I really wanted to like it but the texture is god awful.

favorite disney princess movie? Moana 100% 

a number that weirds you out? None really. I guess like big numbers that are slightly off? Like 3,500,001 Like it’s juuuuuuuuust off from a solid even number so it’s kinda unsettling. But I’m not that bothered I just don’t super like it.

do you have an emotional support water bottle? Absolutely. I was very particular in buying my water bottle. There were a lot of features I really wasn’t willing to sacrifice bc otherwise I wouldn’t use it lmfao. It had to have loop because I hate carrying it normally. It had to hold a decent amount of water (at least 24oz). It had to have a straw and preferably be lightweight and see-through. I generally keep it right by my bed.

do you wear jewelry? Nope. I had a necklace that was really important to me once but I think that’s the only time I cared enough to regularly wear any kind of jewelry. It was a character necklace though and I drew a lot of mm.. emotional support I guess? lol by having my favorite character with me all the time. That niche is currently filled by a keychain attached to my backpack though. My emotional support Kazuha Kaedehara. If I got my hands on a really good Nazuna charm,,, 100% I would keep that shit on me constantly

which do you find yourself using, american or british english? American. I’m American and it’s what I most frequently encounter and engage with, so it’s the most natural to me. Grey is better than gray though like 100%

The tingling, the running sinuses... the way those issue persist even after you stop eating? I just really don’t like it. what’s your favorite or go-to outfit? The same shit I wear basically every day lmfao. I have a favorite pair of pants (my uniqlo stretch jeans that I went back and bought extra pairs of), a favorite hoodie (my target zip-up that I fucking left on a cruise and had to desperately order online. forget my emotional support keychain I need this exact hoodie), a favorite long-sleeve shirt (that I have 3 of in different but similar colors) and a favorite pair of shoes (all black converse with pastel rainbow laces that I got from Daiso. I did in fact buy back up laces lmfao). Every time I have to deviate too far from this basic outfit I am so upset about it lol

last meal on earth? Hmm... one time my mom made this seafood chimichanga. It was apparently a nightmare to make and it took forever but we both agree that it was amazing. But she lost the recipe and we only ever got to have it that one time. So if I could have aaaaaaany meal with realistic limitations, I think I’d want to have that again. If I had to be more realistic mmm.... for appetizer I want one of those side salads you often get at asian restaurants with the ginger dressing.. maybe a miso soup too. Hmm. If it doesn’t clash then I’d say my favorite entree is chicken parmigiana, so I’d want to have that. A jasmine iced tea with lychee jelly to drink... mmm and idk if I’d want desert. I think that would be a solid round up of my favorites.

1. Nothing in this post implied it was men’s responsibilty, it was about flawed studies

The headline is “Not all STEM Fields Dominated by Men.” This wouldn’t even be the headline if the argument made 5+ years ago didn’t exist. What is the argument? It goes something like ‘oh shit there are mostly males in STEM fields. That’s wrong for some reason and men are to blame for some reason.’ Using that as the tag line implies that they know about the age old argument about women in STEM. 

The point of my response that you might have missed is that women can do whatever the fuck they want. And there’s nothing wrong with women wanting more social based jobs like nursing that still require a certain level of scientific knowledge but aren’t considered STEM. If everyone who complained about men dominating STEM fields actually joined a STEM field we wouldn’t be having this conversation. And I’m glad those women chose their own path whether it was STEM or not. 

If you can’t grasp how my addition to the post and the original post are unrelated then I’m not sure what else to say.

Side note: what do the other replies have to do with the post either? “Men, despite dominating STEM fields, demonstrating they do not even have a basic grasp on math.” or “This is taking those ‘men who think women dominate a conversation if they speak approx. 30% of the time’ studies to a whole new level.” They can say what they want and I can say what I want, I just don’t see why you singled me out. In fact their responses kind of added to my feelings to make the post. See my other response for more about that.

I never said other women weren’t oppressed. I never said some of my professors or classmates were never sexist towards me but I did say I am not oppressed. I just meant to say women are stronger than insecure men. 

I am not oppressed because of the heightened demand for women in STEM fields. Unlike men, I will get hired on the spot (which is slightly insulting imo but I’m confident in my ability to contribute so it’s all good).  But you are right. My post didn’t outright reflect what I’m saying now.

I vented about a topic that has been bothering me for a while (5 yearsat least) and people responded positively and negatively about it.

Okay put together a menu for an all day eat-a-thon. This includes breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, dessert, and late night snack

Damn, let’s see. Hmmmmmm

I like something easy for breakfast, so probably get started with a few big bags of chips, biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns, and some juice or a protein powder fruit shake.

For brunch, maybe something slightly more substantial, probably chicken fried steak and gravy, mashed potatoes, maybe some French toast, hot cocoa shake might be nice, some subway sandwiches (I’m thinking tuna or maybe chipotle chicken), a nice thick soup I think (probably broccoli cheddar or baked potato soup; maaaaaybe baked macaroni and cheese), and maybe some pretzels or something.

Lunch, gotta start ramping it up a bit I think, so let’s do a couple large pizzas, a few sandwiches and maybe a large side salad (I like chicken Caesar), some donuts, I think I’d want some snacks like a couple bags of Sourpatch Kids or licorice or snickers or something, and I think some Tropicana and a peanut butter gaining shake would be good.

Afternoon snack could be just about anything, probably several more bags of chips and candies and stuff. Cookies would be nice. However many I have access to, lol. I tend to just graze and keep putting stuff in my mouth until I run out. More fruit smoothies and gaining shakes for sure. I think I could go for some fries and chicken strips too.

Dinner’s gotta be a big one: gimme some thick-ass lasagna, buckets of fried chicken and potato wedges and gravy, a few big salads, mozzarella sticks, garlic bread, dumplings and rice and soy sauce, and keep the gaining shakes and smoothies flowing (maybe throw some wine in there).

Dessert, let’s have unlimited fudge brownies (LOVE them), a cake or two, ice cream (cookies and cream or chocolate fudge, maybe mint chocolate) with as many real cookies and cream and candies as we can get in there, and naturally several more shakes filled with all of them combined.

And then snacks can be whatever’s left, I’ll eat absolutely anything easy that late in the day, lol

Bryce x Becca Meet at Burrito Bar

Becca has only been to Mills Dining Hall a handful of times. It’s on the other side of campus and has a smaller selection than the main dining hall. She really only goes there when she’s craving Asian fusion or Mexican.

This semester she and Sienna had class nearby. So the two girls made a habit of grabbing lunch at Mills every Tuesday and Thursday.

Bryce worked at the Mexican stall to pay his way through college until his 21st birthday. As soon as he turns 21 he’d apply for a gig as a bartender at every bar nearby. 

He heard her laugh before he ever saw her. 

Four people down his queue was the brunette speaking with her doe eyed friend.

Once it was her turn, Sienna went to go find them a table. 

“I’ve never been here before - what do you suggest?” she asked as she pointed to the assembly line of ingredients.   “Do you like heat?” Bryce asked good naturedly.   “In some instances.”  Bryce chuckled, “We’ll start off with something mild.” 

She ended up with a beef and chicken burrito with almost all the fixings.  

“Woah. How’d you do that so fast?” her jaw nearly dropped at how quickly he wrapped and folded the tortilla.  “Great hands,” he winked and wiggled his fingers. 

Becca laughed, thanked him and went on with her day. 

Bryce watched her walk away, the glitter of amazement in her eye will forever occupy his mind. 

The next week she lined up at the Mexican stall;  “You again!”  “Me again,” she smiled back. 

He followed her order and as he rolled her burrito he said;  “I’m Bryce, by the way.”  “Becca.”  “Do you live nearby?”  “Over in Golding. I have Anthro in Ford, so I treat myself twice a week.”  “Looking forward to seeing you,” he smiled.  

He passed her the plate and napkin. 

Becca sat down with Sienna and noticed the legible scrawl in black ink on the napkin.  Bryce L. 808-555-4722

She chuckled to herself and folded the flimsy brown paper into her backpack. 

She never called. 

Honestly, she completely forgot about it. 

The next week Becca walked from the Chinese stall and to her seat in the far side overlooking the Quad. 

Bryce noticed her neon backpack immediately. 

He also noted that she was eating alone. She was never alone. 

Sienna had a paper due and went to the library to finish it off. 

Bryce decided on a bold move - he took his break early. 

Becca was so lost in what she was reading on her phone that she didn’t hear him come over until the plastic of his dish clanked against the wood table. 

“Oh!” she jumped in her seat. Her face softening once she noticed her companion, “Hey.”  “Hey. Mind if I join you?”  “Not at all.” 

They shared pleasantries and chats to get to know one another. 

Bryce and Becca took a liking to one another. It was like they’ve known each other for decades. 

It wasn’t awkward at all and soon enough they were laughing - loud, wide mouth and doubled over kind of laughing. 

Forty minutes later Bryce had to go back to work. 

“I gotta run. See you next week.” He gathered his things and was about to walk away. 

She bit her lip. Thinking hard about taking a chance. What’d she have to lose anyway?

“How about this weekend?” 

He turned around and gave her one of his signature megawatt smiles.

I always lose my mom in there, and it takes me forever to find her because she never answers my calls.

They cut up a bunch of fruit with your meal and I love it:) their smoothies are real good as well.

APPETIZERS; yue city’s fruit markets are pretty good but if i can find someone willing to hop into level 42 summer villa for me, we could get those oranges & lemons & whatever else they’re supposed to be growing there? also i hear 35 (enchanted forest & tatiania/titania lady whatever person) has some pretty rad berries but some of them are poisonous so......oops. but also! valley of monsters has some berry-like things too. will have to investigate further. SIDES; goddamn i really miss french fries & onion rings (maybe ophelia knows how to make smth similar?), & ofc i’ll need ketchup if we go w those. city of magic has this place that sells some pretty good bbq gryphon drumsticks & other skewers (the rat ones taste just like chicken!) so i’ll also hit that up. will need to make a lot of sauce & sriracha bc nothing in this fucking game has seasoning. will also have shish kabobs of all sorts hopefully. maybe a veggie platter for ppl who’re into that stuff? DRINKS; i mean, the usual honey wine/mead/ale that’s p cheap in yue city stores. could try to get morningstar to make me more ‘burnett’s potions’ again - or maybe something more bougie like grey goose??? but also not sure what she’d want in return, hmm. must think on it. for chasers, just fruit juice & cider & shit? kinda wish they had soda in this game. also, BOBA & starbucks fraps, i miss that so much! must try to find a substitute.

MAIN DISHES; i’m going to make a hotpot out of cauldrons and teapots and shit bc god fucking damn i miss that. i wonder if ophelia will know anything about where i can get, like cilantro + scallions + peanut sauce + other hotpot spices? then, need the stuff to go into the hotpot too ofc, im thinking all the raw meat strips (beef, lamb, whatever), all the usual veggies (do they have bokchoy in this game???), i dont think there’s any tofu which is a shame but i can def. get some mushrooms and sprouts and stuff. hmmm i might be able to hunt down a wyvern in one of the valley of monsters side-quests & have that roasting there too. kinda also want peking duck w/ that special sauce ngl. gotta ask around & try to see if other ppl have in-game substitutions for like, dumplings/potstickers & pho & kimbap & fried rice & pad thai & stuff, but if not then all the usual fantasy game food is fine - chicken potpies, stew, roasted swan, etc are all good no matter what. is there anyone who knows how to make tacos/mexican food/chipotle in this game??? I only started watching game of thrones, cause I have one of those hood cousin who never left the block & think chipotle is exotic. But loves the show and talks about how after he puts his son to sleep he smokes a fat one and gets ready for game of thrones. I just caught up Sunday morning, the moment you watch that last episode.. it’s like you know you fucked up & all I think About is how I should’ve is slowed down with each episode. I’m up going through your G.O.T tags right now.
