No idea what a fun name along the lines of Lady Whistledown or Gossip Girl would be so yes you can call me blue anon! Happy to have someplace to share these horrors.

Today has been interesting so far (mustache!) Once again BTs cannot tell the difference between Eddie and Tommy while also simultaneously insisting they could not be more dissimilar. They love projecting all of Tommy’s negative qualities onto Eddie and all of Eddie’s positive qualities onto Tommy. The latest in this is the whole ‘Eddie will side with Gerrard’ bullshit and the plagiarized ‘what if (character) gets out of the pool while Whatta Man is playing and Buck is horny about it’ post.

Honestly the Tommy version of that post made me laugh so hard. It would just be strange of the writers to reuse that song and sequence with Buck and Tommy. The show has only ever reused one song: Carry You by Ruelle in 3x15 Eddie Begins and 5x16 May Day. Both scenes where it played were hopeful moments of a character being saved by their family (Bobby) or fighting to survive because they wanted to get home to their family (Eddie). Plus, both scenes were also a big moment for Eddie (fighting to get out of the well in 3x15 and finding his purpose as a firefighter again in 5x16.) Point is that the show’s music cues are very intentional. Using Whatta Man with Buck and Tommy would not just be an odd choice. Despite the new context the song and the imagery would still be a callback to the first time that song played. The writers would essentially be drawing yet another parallel between Tommy and Eddie. It would never happen because it’s a stupid idea but if it did it would honestly end up supporting the Buddie agenda. BTs did not think that one through.

Yesterday some of them were theorizing that Lou is being purposefully hidden on set. I think this is their way of coping with the fact they have not gotten updates from him in a long while. According to them the PR team knows that Lou being on set will cause an uproar among Buddies on social media. So to keep the peace they are hiding the fact that Lou is already on set and one day there will be a video released where he is accidentally shown in the background.

Still sticking with that theory. Which brings us to today. Apparently when Lou liked Kenny’s video of Peter and Ryan it was his way of signalling that he is on set currently filming and he will be in season 8. He’s just ‘not allowed’ to post anything actually confirming that so this is his way of secretly showing his loyal fans the truth. At what point do we get to officially call BTs a cult?

Oh and of course they are hoping for Lou content but (much like the pool post plagarism) they cannot come up with anything original. Aisha and Oliver posted content with Oliver’s dogs? Lou should post content with Oliver’s dogs. Kenny posted a video of Peter and Ryan? Kenny should post a video of Lou. The lack of creativity is concerning actually. All they do is shove Tommy and Lou in spaces where other characters and actors have been and should be.

The whole Eddie will side with Gerrard thing is just bananas. And we've been saying they are literally replacing Eddie's name in shit and pressing post but the whatta man thing was beyond insane. If they did something like that it would be once again making people question the way Buck felt about Eddie back when he was introduced. Honestly, giving Tommy a slowmo cut to Buck looking to dumbfounded would shoutout buddie because it draws yet another direct parallel to Eddie. They definitely did not think that one through.

And the whole theorizing he's on set and being hidden, I'm not saying it's impossible, but again we are in a network procedural, this is not Sony trying to hide the fact that Andrew Garfield is coming back, the expectation is that Tommy will be back, so there would be no surprise there, they just think we will lose our minds because they somehow lose theirs every time they find out this isn't the Tommy show. And I think at this point cult is the only way to describe what's happening. But seriously, can they come up with anything original? Even the actor interactions now need to be repeated? Dear god. We need to expand Maria's meme because this is insane behavior.

Uhh let me think…for canon ships? Dair, Natessa, Serena/Carter, Rufly, Chuck/Hell, all those ones. I also liked Eric/Jonathan and Jenny/Damien (in an AU where 3x15 didn’t happen) if I’m being honest.

Non-canon I love Blairena 🩷 I also liked Jenny/Blair and Jenny/Agnes even though I know those ships aren’t healthy lmao. I also shipped Blair/Vanessa ngl (ignoring the racist undertones on Blair’s behalf :/)

This is a sound coming out of my mind with 0 edition post about “but Mai couldn't experience the same level of connection towards other citizens as Zuko, because she has been always living a comfortable life” which by itself is just mh ?????? Like you pick a partner that you like, not one that fits the list of demands of other people? And I just realized that Zuko is still a rich kid and this is more a -Mai could have experienced a big level of personal growth because their times are almost the same, you just like to hate on her-. 

Ok so grumpy boy has been grumpy in the ship for 3 years, as we know, we also know he doesn't talk with the crew, or anyone in the other nations. At this time he has 0 interaction that could make him empathize. Also, he is not living a simple humble life. He has people to dress him (The avatar returns) and has like an entire fish for dinner one day (The warriors of Kyoshi) so it's not  that he is “having the same experiences as the common people” yeah he is getting dunked by the hour since the end of book 1 but it's not like he is gaining community knowledge or having bonding time with citizens. 

The first taste of the real world he has, is when he and jeepers creepers Iroh start their travelling as refugees journey, after being in a spa. The first thing he does when in the presence of others is stealing a horse, so. 

 Which is also the start of the “elite team” with Azula, Ty Lee and Mai. She says she has to travel light, so I don't think she has the same level of ship comfortable. At this point both have to leave all their possessions behind and life as they know 

 Meanwhile, Zuko is only gaining resentment towards the citizens and living in an “Exiled” experience (does anyone remember the show where the 16 sweet sixteen girls are sent to other parts of the world? Or was it a fever dream?) because he is being treated like a beggar which he is, then he goes blue spirit and steals fancy stuff so mh still not an empathy path. He starts to see the earth kingdom citizens as more tridimensional people when he goes solo, judging by his hair is that a week? (from 2x05 to 2x08, and cameo from the pregnant lady).

 I am not saying that he is not empathic, but those traits are from him, not really increased  on his journey until then

Until then Mai has been travelling with ✨the girls✨ but 1, They are not really focused on chasing Zuko as people seem to point, Azula has the Avatar and co in mind, and 2, Azula probably lied by omission of what capturing him meant 

He gets to return to a more comfortable life with the help of the white lotus (how much neutral is the white lotus, did they asked for explanation? 2x10 The library) and he also starts to interact again (2x12 - Jet why :c) he gets to the lower ring first but for plot points gets a spot in the upper ring where no one knows about the war so no time to talk about how people are affected by it, he mostly listened to rich people gossip and got 0 tips. Meanwhile, the girls are on their travel to conquer a city which I assume is the first time they see some place that is not controlled by the FN for a long time, but its still the upper ring (2x13-2x20).

 So until now Zuko - Non-rich people interactions, poor life are like 2 weeks?

Anyway, shenanigans ensue, Zuko goes back to the FN, and everyone is living the rich kid life again, until he leaves (3x01-3x11) Hair time says 1.5 cm per month but I have the experience that after shaving your head hair grows twice as fast. But it doesn't matter because they are living the rich life together.  Gets “accepted” into the gaang and some few days later decides to go rescue prisoners (3x12-3x14),  Mai gets thrown in jail, and we don't hear from her until the finale (3x15-3x21) I think that Mai arrived with Azula who had been controlling all her communications because it seems the sensible thing to happen to you when you are one of the few people you now traitor ex bf leaves some kind of communication about his plans. So personal growth time for rich girl for what I believe are at least a few weeks' which is a lot of time to be surrounded by people with another  beliefs. 

While Zuko pulls out his rich kid card and the gaang uses his beach house until the comet arrives. 

TL;DR: Mai and Zuko had almost the same time backpacking and being exposed to other nations while in the earth kingdom and jail.

1) Talk about the first ship you ever had. 

The first ship I ever had…geez. I’m gonna go with TV shows, since I’ve obvs watched movies since I was verrrry small and likely just shipped the main couple. So, the earliest TV show I can remember watching & hardcore loving the couple was prob Lucy & Kevin from 7th Heaven. I watched that show for YEARS and Lucy was always my fav char. A little high maintenance for sure, but still adorable. When policeman (I think?) Kevin came around and took an interest in her enthusiastic self, I was overjoyed. We saw them date, get married, have kids. THE DREAM.

3) What’s your current OTP?

Uh…Barry & Iris from The Flash. Duh. lol. I have various OTPs from different shows, but currently westallen most definitely tops the list. ;)

8) Have you ever shipped yourself with a character?

Hmmm…I don’t think so? Because usually that would mean splitting a ship I love and I would never want that. However - oh, wait, I think the closest I got was Henry in the movie, Red Riding Hood. I loved him, and I hardcore shipped him with Valerie, but alas, her one true love was Peter. I’d take Henry though. He’s hot, a total sweetheart, and willing to put his neck on the line for the girl he loves even though she didn’t reciprocate his feelings. What girl wouldn’t want that?

20) Talk about a ship you feel alone in shipping.

Alright, I’m going to take this “question” to mean a couple I hardcore love that I’ve had yet to meet another shipper for. There are some that I’ve found a small following for, but only one off the top of my head that I never found anyone for. And that would be Ivy & Max from Gossip Girl. Both guest stars and very few people warmed up to Ivy, but I loved this pairing so much. I honestly would’ve been on cloud nine if her departure from the show had ended in her reconciling with Max. They were so sweet together before NYC & the fantasy of a UES family went to her head. (Not to mention it would’ve been a million times better than the way she actually left.)

23) Which of your ships deserve better writing?

Lmao. All of them? I feel like no ship can always have really solid writing. At some point the writers slack off or think a genius idea is a stupid one or do something just for the sake of drama. Like…no? Plz, God, no. STOP IT. But…prob the ship with the worst writing throughout its arc has to be Damon & Elena from The Vampire Diaries. They had some of the best build-up I’ve ever seen, but season 5 was a disaster. Season 6 was beautiful and I’m glad they ended up together (even if we seriously deserved a better onscreen reunion), but so much crap was thrown at them in season 5 that was never ever really dealt with, and I just…*whines* Yeah, them.

40) If you could change one thing about your OTP, what would that be?

Sticking with Barry & Iris, since they’re my biggest OTP at the moment. I would change…*hmms* I would give them more domestic scenes. We’ve gotten a look into what a “normal” life with them would look like, and I’m greedy for more. Also, at least one sex scene please. I crave it. BUT, if this is speaking strictly about their development and dynamic - and NOT just what I wish we saw more of onscreen - ugggh, I can’t think of anything. Lmao. I mean, I wish we saw more of Barry comforting Iris and not just her comforting him, but I refuse to believe he’s a sucky boyfriend in that department. I firmly believe we just don’t see it.

I guess I would take back the whole 3x15-3x16 angst + break up, even if it did end in a marvelous true love’s kiss followed by an epic solo by Barry Allen, the most genuinely romantic guy alive. Oh! I know! (lmao, this is so long, but I refuse to delete any of it.) I wish Barry had told Iris he was The Flash earlier on. That was honestly the most frustrating thing EVER. Oh, and that their 2x23 ILYs + kiss hadn’t been erased. *cries* Def that second one. So two things. Two things is fine. I can’t choose between them.
