More Cowboy Times In Space!

So while I was working on my cowboy themed Ork Stompa, I was also printing parts for another Ork unit, the Gorkanaut/Morkanaut! I had a lot of fun converting and painting this model, probably more than the Stompa because this thing is more reasonably sized and easier to paint. I'm so happy with how the giant sombrero with Grot Sniper turned out! More photos under the cut!

The belly hatch also opens so I added another Grot along with some skulls, beer, and a guitar!

And here is a size comparison of a normal Ork Boy, the Gorkanaut, and the Ork Stompa. Eventually I think I'll pick up one more Gorkanaut/Morkanaut so I have a full Lord of War detachment. I'd also like to have at least 3 Deff Dreads for this army, but those are projects for another day. Here's the list of 3d printer files I used for those interested!

I got into warhammer like this year almost exclusively due to my love of Vermintide and latched onto Orks because heehoo funny dumb boyz anyways I’m very proud of my Gorkanaut I assembled last month he’s my beautiful son and in his first game he careened directly into the perfect gap of space marines and blew them all up in a fireball of death thanks bye

Ork mecha are the pinnacle of engineering

Killa Kans and Deff Dreads? Incredible. Iconic. Make your most disposable into a killing machine twice the size of a Terminator.

Gorkanauts and Morkanauts and Stompas? Immovable. Can't tip em over. Gork and Mork are proud. Knights could never since their god is dead on a big gold toilet

The Ork Temple Gargant? Possibly the greatest machine invention to ever exist. Unsurpassed technological innovation. 10,000 Arby's car parks attached to wheels the size of Luxembourg.

I forgot to mention I played my first game of 10th edition a few weeks ago. I had a lot of fun. 1000 points vs Necrons, my buddy and I were both there to roll dice and learn our updated armies so we didn't have any objectives.

My Gorkanaut got in a slug fest with the Silent King for 3 turns before dying. I don't think he did a single wound in the shooting phase.

My Beast Boss on Squigasaur tanked an insane amount of wounds and finished off the Silent King. He was then quickly gunned down by 60 gauss rifles.

My biggest takeaway was how awesome Flash Gitz are. Not to metachase or anything but I want to run 30 of them because firing 120 shots in the shooting phase is very funny...

Anyway I'm converting more Flash Gitz out of Nobz and a bunch of Ogryn Ripper guns I have. I'm also gonna need to get two more Trukkz for them.

Orks have their own bizarre form of Commedia Dell'Arte. The troupes travel around in a gorkanaut with a chain-nosed zanni mask, the shows are only comprehensible because the audience thinks it is, it's incredibly violent, and somebody always dies. Not necessarily in the cast.

what does the art and music of the 41st millenium look like?

Do Necrons still make music? and if so, with what instruments?

do Orks have theatre?

Do T'au make movies?

Is it still possible to be a full-time actor in the Imperium?

I know it's the grim darkness of the far future and there is only war but... it's still about people. There is never ONLY war.
