What is the angriest Genesis and Angeal saw Sephiroth?

One night, both Angeal & Genesis rushed out of their apartments upon hearing a devastating and VERY sudden crash explode from down the hallway. It took a moment to process that what they heard was not in fact a bomb from local eco-terrorists playing with their new toys, but something that had come from Sephiroth’s apartment. They sprinted there as fast as they enhanced-humanly could, as good buddies do, and opened the door.

The sight that greeted them was Sephiroth, standing in the den, slightly slouched over, huffing like a broken mechanical bull ride, and clutching a mallet in his hands. The glass coffee table was nothing more than a skeleton now, all the crystal filling scattered very generously around the room. Sephiroth’s bull-huffing was the only thing to challenge the silence.

“I think… I think I got it….” he panted.

Boop Wars

Sephiroth learns what booping is from Zack one day and gently starts booping everyone he cares about. Cloud takes it personally and starts booping him back. Well, Cloud *tries* to boop him back, but Seph's so LONG. Doesn’t matter, Cloud’s a crafty, sneaky boopster and darts around like a silent, vengeful chocobo with a big foam finger to make up for the height difference.

So to keep the fun alive, Genesis and Zack appear out of nowhere and attach bells to both Cloud and Sephiroth to reduce their sneak abilities. So now the entire tower is jingling and giggling and Sephy is having the time of his LIFE. This is speaking to some inner instinct of his, but in a fun way for the first time outside of sparring.

Kunsel is glad he wears a helmet by default, because the number of times jingling grows louder rapidly, he gets booped, and giggles fade into the distance is too dang high. Kunsel's one of their few friends, so he's getting the brunt of this, along with Angeal, Genesis, and Zack.

Aerith, daughter of chaos, sneaks in and everyone thinks she's either Cloud or Sephiroth because who else could it be? They’re too fast to catch in the act, and those two goofballs are the only ones truly going at it.

Genesis, on a conference call: HEY! Sorry, one of them got me.

Angeal: HEY! ‘Scuse me, same here.

Zack: YO! Wait, how were the two of them in three places at once?!?!?!

Aerith: *giggles in the vents*

Lazard allows it, but subtly hints that they be careful who they do it to and definitely don't provoke anyone they shouldn't, because he's only going to help them get out of trouble if he himself is not too annoyed. Unfortunately for their victims, this gives them ~ideas~

Cloud pounces on Hojo and rips a chunk of skin and hair out, kicks him in the nuts, and screams BOOP. Then spends an hour in the bathroom aggressively grooming whatever part of himself touched The Horror.

Genesis decides to smack Scarlet for suggesting they use citizens as test dummies, calmly saying "Boop". Scarlet absolutely takes the bait and now it's a petty slap fight between them.

Angeal has his head in his hands. Is it embarrassment? Is it to hide his laughter? Only he knows…

Rufus shoots President Shinra and says "boop".

Somewhere in the chaos, Hojo's head falls on the floor with a dull thud and a deep, purring voice says “boop”.

Glenn is always saying “He’s just a kid” too about Seph. He worries about him pushing himself too much.

I’m not sure if you have seen anything from The Last of Us but it reminds me of the parent-kid relationship we see with Joel and Ellie except with roles reversed. Glenn is the loose canon goofball and Sephiroth is the overly serious one trying to keep his emotions in check and get things done.

I feel like the sibling type relationships in these games are more obvious like with Yuffie and Sonon where they are only a couple of years apart and bicker like kids.

Glenn feels more like a guiding older parent for Sephiroth. Especially because they keep making it obvious that Glenn is undoing some of Hojo’s teachings in Sephiroth.

That's the impression I get too. There are times when Seph and Glenn feel like peers on equal footing and then there's obviously times where Glenn slides into protective mode that gives him a more parent-esque feel.

So in summation Glenn is Seph's Dad-bro. As in he's both lmao

He's about to not be Sephiroth's ANYTHING because we know this is going to fall apart soon.

How I feel about this character: 

i absolutely love zack. he's an absolute ray of sunshine, and he makes me so happy to think about. he's in my top 5 ffvii characters for sure.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: 

oooohhh....aerith first and foremost. zerith is 1000% my favourite zack ship, and one of the only ones i really have for him. other than that....i keep finding myself mostly interested in rarepairs for zack, i personally enjoy zack/tifa and zack/genesis.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: 

definitely sephiroth!! i think they have such an interesting dynamic as it's depicted in crisis core, and exploring that is super fun to me. more than co-workers, but perhaps a little less than friends. there is trust and respect and camaraderie there, but sephiroth still keeps him at arms-length.

My unpopular opinion about this character: 

unpopular....i don't even think this is necessarily an unpopular opinion, but fanon zack often gets boiled down an oblivious idiot goofball, when he's very much not. he's shrewd, and he has a high emotional intelligence (even if he can admittedly be a little bit dense sometimes) and he's not a perfect saint. he's just a Guy who has a really strong sense of morality, and a willingness to make personal sacrifice, but that certainly doesn't make him infallible. i think to ignore those aspects of him is a disservice.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:

personally i would've loved them to double down on zack's era of disillusionment with the world and with shinra that he has after escaping hojo's lab with cloud. it's a very stark turning point for his character, and i wish it would get capitalized on more.

a headcanon fact:

it's my understanding that in older ffvii fanon, a lot of people used to think zack had violet or blue-violet eyes? and this is something i really love, even if in the remake trilogy his eyes really aren't that different of a colour from cloud's. he has violet eyes in my heart.
