Some sociopathic traits Andre Kriegman has,,

Like Cal, I don’t believe Andre was a sociopath either— but he does exhibit some of the behaviors similar to one as well.

Since Andre began attending school, he’s developed a vulnerability of succumbing to reactivity (like anger, frustration) when facing problems.

In addition, he can definitely be labeled as conniving given his “missions” with Cal and their plans of violence— Zero Day.

He really was an adorable kid; he had more of a round face, freckles, and a missing tooth. But even with his cuteness, his toddler tantrums never quite matched the half-assed smile etched on his face in childhood pictures and yearbook photos. Admittedly, he gained more control over his moods as he aged, and is now a rather composed teenage boy. But when something sets him off— which can definitely be quite easy— he’ll kind of fall back to grumpy, and then potentially swing forward toward explosive. Although he’s never truly flipped his lid in front of many people, he has outwardly punched and kicked objects in front of others if his emotions were boiling. Sometimes, he’s accidentally broken things as a result.

Receiving that sickly sweet note from the girl who liked him at the end of his 8th grade year made him feel real special, so he ended up saving it. Every time he read it that summer, when he was transitioning from 8th grade to 9th grade, it gave him a rush of immense superiority, like he was better than all the guys who picked on him. Ultimately, after some time, he forgot about the note until it resurfaced when him and Cal were burning their cherished goods before Zero Day.

In high school, his previously decent ability to make friends started to diminish. While the other side of Andre’s personality is more humorous, less serious, and even charming, he was regarded with hyper-criticality and scornfulness when attempting to get alone with his peers. So he started to shy away from his classmates, an unrequited resentment growing. He acquired a cynical first impression of himself, alongside his steadily-increasing lack of desire to connect with other people. Andre doesn’t mind this anymore though— he has Cal, that’s all that matters.

He mostly keeps his composure out in public when he’s with Calvin, but his short-tempered demeanor has impacted many of his past friendships. His peers at school see him as skeptical and standoffish, even though he feels that he can be sociable in general. Andre has always felt kind of alone, and he did generally keep to himself as a kid, experiencing less emotionality than others. The bullying from Brad and his friends further amplified his expanding feelings of frustration and simmering rage toward his school.

In some ways, Andre is slightly envious of Cal’s easy ability to fool other people with his “shy” approach and the “nice guy” mask he wears. As a result, other people, including Rachel, see Andre as the more negative one between them in the Army of Two. And the fact that nobody truly knows Cal somewhat eases Andre’s anxieties while also makes him feel victimized. Though, he’s never spoken about this, and he prefers subtly deceiving others for he and Cal’s sake.

Andre doesn’t like Rachel at all, though the feeling is mutual between the two. He doesn’t make the conscious effort to be nice to her because he simply doesn’t care about what she thinks about him. He doesn’t care that she thinks he’s a bad influence— because she clearly doesn’t fucking know Cal the way he does.

He doesn’t care as much about his peers as he should, generally exhibiting a sense of selfishness when conflicts arise— it was easy for him to feel satisfyingly tyrannical and predacious during Zero Day, instead of merciful like how a normal person would. But Andre isn’t normal at all, no; he doesn’t care about human life. In some aspects, he does, but he sees the majority of the human race as being disgusting motherfuckos. Humans are the natural enemy of other humans.

Andre also keeps a diary— well, he calls it a journal— that his parents bought him for his 15th birthday, a few years back. He never actually started using it until recently, with him now being 18. But it helps him vent his thoughts, hate, hurt… anything, really, that he’s in the mood for discussing privately in his journal. It also helps him somewhat calm down from shitty days at school, like if he’s had run-ins with Brad or if someone laughed at him during a presentation. His pages are unorganized, since he’s never journaled before and assumes that it’s an embarrassing hobby to have.

In his journal, he also writes about Cal. Though, he doesn’t want to seem like some grossly cheesy, sappy teenager from a stupid rom-com whenever he titles his page ‘Cal’ or ‘C.G.’, so he keeps the other teen’s name simple. But sometimes, he really can’t help himself and he draws a little heart or a smiley face next to his name.

Additionally, on random pages, he details Zero Day and its missions. He’s patient, and he’s content with using his free time to intricately prepare for he and Cal’s final mission to come in the near spring.

v1: i feel like v1 would probably drive absurdly fast and also drive something ridiculous. reaching mach 10 in the oscar meyer wiener mobile. would probably get awful dents on places of the car you didnt even know could dent.

gabriel: extremely anxious driver. going 20 in a 70, only taking backroads, would die on some sort of major city freeway system, and extremely prone to road rage. do not be in the car with this guy when theres traffic or if someone cuts him off. probably drives a honda or something

v2: very safe driver!! great at handling all challenges the road may have. can change a tire and do other immediate maintenance. maybe offroads on occasion. probably drives a jeep or small truck

ferryman: mom van driver. prone to carpooling (you know. ship). drives a bit slower on average. probably has stickers all over the back of the van. one or two scratches and dents along the car from mishaps. probably also prone to a bit of road rage, but not too much.
