My piece for the art portion of Malevolent Big Bang 2024!

This year I got to work with some familiar faces on an awesome AU! I've enjoyed working on this so much and the fic itself is SO cool! Pacific Rim is a favorite movie and getting the chance to read an AU for it in Malevolent is such a treat!!! Definitely a fun read if you're caught up and enjoy giant robot fights! :D I have some more little doodles that go along with this AU but I have to wait to post them because of so much going on. fanfic trope! thoughts on identity porn

C: Neutral.

So, I really like playing with identity in all sorts of ways BUT it's just not a big trope in my fandoms (i am really adjacent to comics at most). I think it should definitely expand to other fandoms when applicable though, and when it does I tend to like it!

Do you have any political YouTubers you would recommend?

Some More News is a great satirical news youtube show that covers current events and topics of interest with great humor.

Philosophytube is great, obvs she focues on philosophy but it is politically relevant.

Steve Shives is good if youre feeling a bit more cynical and want someone to say all the shit you want to hear about republicans while also analyzing their behavior - though he can be brash.

BadEmpanada's videos are well researched and interesting and global, and my introduction to him was this video:

which isnt his usual content but has a great takedown of Vaush's behavior and the debatebro community surrounding him. despite how the progress bar displays i have watched all of it.

Leeja Miller has great well-researched videos about current US political topics, but to me sometimes they can feel a little doom and gloom.

A couple more I have seen less of but still recommend are F.D. Signifier, Foreign Man in a Foreign Land, Balkan Odyssey, and tentatively Second Thought, though he's been under some fire lately for his video on authoritarianism.
