Kukehari (Sedum)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Perekond on levinud igal mandril, välja arvatud Austraalia.

Dragon Of The Mist Illustrator: Angel Ortiz This Dragon i based lightly on an animation version of "Lord Of The Rings" and also "Flight Of Dragons"but with much heaver looking scales; almost imitating armor. the misty background is to give it a calmer look taking away some terror, but allowing the dragon to still be frightful. This piece was drawn in pencil and digitally edited. The print comes in 8x10 and 11x17 gloss with a white border. I tried to look up what this moss/mold is... but no real luck. One thing I read said is was Gold Esthetic Moss. And yeah sure, it looks cool and it's gold, but still, not helpful. So I guess we'll just look at it and that's all. #goldmoss #goldthings #oldtractors #johndeere #boiseidaho #historysnaps #oldwood #machineryfromalongtimeago #wakeupnerds (at Old Idaho Penitentiary) https://www.instagram.com/p/BuRMP4bl4k6/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=c6ki0a4vswhn

Thanks to the unseasonably warm sun we’ve been having, the gold moss stonecrop is is perfect for harvesting right now as a wild edible in Northeastern Ontario. It is a tiny, juicy, succulent moss-like plant growing on large, sun-exposed rocks. Stonecrops are normally sweet and pleasant, but the gold moss variety is spicy as in hot! Treat it like fresh jalapeño or a Thai chilli. We want to try to make a dried cayenne powder substitute (might be more like wasabi though) and also a fermented wild hot sauce inspired by @pascalbaudar — you could also make hot salsa, hot pickles, or add it as local substitute in any recipe with hot peppers in it (Indian curries, Thai curries, chili...).

Sedum acres
I have posted this little guy before, but the wikipedia page has been updated since then (yeah I use wikipedia, fight me).
Here is a new list of real, official names for this plant: Goldmoss Stonecrop Mossy Stonecrop Goldmoss Sedum Biting Stonecrop Wallpepper and Welcome Home Husband Though Never So Drunk [citation needed]
Last time I posted this I was all about that Wallpepper. But that’s not a name, that’s a sentence! A name is a quick thing to identify, otherwise why not go with “small perennial type of yellow plant that is cute” as a name?
“Oh look mother, there are some what a piece of work is man how noble in reason how infinite in faculty in form and moving how express and admirable’s growing in this garden, my favorite!”
