Ok so I made a header! Idk if it’s cropped right! Yell at me if not!!!! Anyways. All the founders (as per the poll) in one little doodle for the header <3 first full cast reveal WOW! A handful of familiar faces, but I’m really looking forward to introducing you all to the rest of these characters.
fun fact: every single one of these names was RNG generated! I’ve never gotten such cool names from the initial rng since.
As always, comments and reblogs mean the world!

Heroes & Villains The DC Animated Universe - Paper Cut-Out Portraits and Profiles
Villainous Supplemental - Bloodsport, Goldface & The Shark
Robert Dubois was a vicious mercenary and master combatant proficient in hand to hand fighting as well as with a bevy of advanced weaponry. Under the alias of ‘Bloodsport’ he became a highly paid assassin and soldier of fortune. He was recruited by Roulette to be a contestant in her ‘Meta-Brawl,’ an underground fight club where super powered individuals battled one another while onlookers gambled on the outcome. After this Meta-Brawl was taken down by Green Arrow and Black Canary, Bloodsport accepted membership into Gorilla Grodd’s Legion of Doom. He subsequently perished when Darkseid destroyed the Legion’s headquarters. The villain first appeared in the first episode of the second season of Justice League Unlimited, ‘The Cat and The Canary.’
A chest of gold that had been affected by toxic waste somehow bestowed criminal Keith Kenyon with superhuman powers. His skin took on a golden hue and he gained greatly enhanced strength and durability. Furthermore, his touch could paralyze organic beings, temporarily transforming them into golden statues. Goldface battled against Green Lantern and later accepted membership into Gorilla Grodd’s Legion of Doom. The villain sided with Grodd when Luthor took over the Legion. The villain was frozen in ice by Killer Frost in the ensuing battle and then perished when Darkside destroyed the Legion’s headquarters. Actor Lex Lang provided the voice for Goldface with the villain first appearing in the first episode of the third season of Justice League Unlimited, ‘I Am Legion.’
Exposure to an experimental radioactivity caused a regular tiger shark to mutant into an anthropomorphic humanoid. The result was a being that possessed the intellect and capabilities of a human coupled with the ferocity and capabilities of an apex predator. Now known as The Shark the villain battled Green Lantern and was later recruited into Gorilla Grodd’s Legion of Doom. Although it appeared as though The Shark left the Legion after it was taken over by Lex Luthor. The Shark first appeared in the debut episode of the third season of Justice League Unlimited, ‘I Am Legion.’

Spoilers for Flash #800!
This is a textless advance preview from next month's extravaganza issue, and you can see the rest of the pages at Adventures In Poor Taste.
Here are the stories and creators which will be in the issue:
“Don’t Come to Central City” by Jeremy Adams, Fernando Pasarin, Oclair Albert, and Matt Herms — Villains swap stories over a poker game about what makes committing crime in the Flash’s town so difficult. “The Max In The Mirror” by Mark Waid, Todd Nauck, and Matt Herms – This flashback tale set during Mark Waid’s IMPULSE run tells an untold story of The Flash & Max Mercury trapped by Mirror Master, and only Impulse can free the speedsters! “Flash Family” by Joshua Williamson, Carmine Di Giandomenico, and Ivan Plascencia – Barry Allen uses the Cosmic Treadmill to take Iris on a very special trip. “Blitz Back” by Geoff Johns, Scott Kolins, and Luis Guerrero – Hunter Zolomon has been trapped in the Speed Force, and thinks he’s found a way out. “Between Me and You” by Simon Spurrier, Mike Deodato, Jr., and Trish Mulvihill – While heading to Date Night with Linda, Wally West encounters a massively powered up Mirror Master, just as the Scarlet Speedster’s powers seem to be glitching.
Interesting to see a return to Hunter's shenanigans, and it looks like incoming writer Spurrier won't be completely ignoring the Rogues in his 'cosmic horror' era.
Kind of a bummer that the poker villains aren't Rogues, but maybe they'll have an appreciation for the villains who do operate in Central City!

Green Lantern Villain Movie Ideas, Part XVII: Sonar
Bito Wladon AKA Sonar is an inventor from a fictional European nation ruled by a dictator who staunchly banned all technology and modern culture from his country. Bito's parents were deaf and treated as outcasts, their son with him, giving him an obsession with sound. He ended up creating a sonic device that could seriously impact Green Lantern by causing him to see only in yellow. He's a gimmick villain, basically, but one with an overly complex backstory.
Origin Movie: Establishing everything about the corps, as well as this complicated backstory about his country might be a bit much for one movie, especially with no direct ties between the two. If we did it, we might just have to boil it down to "sound guy."
Sequel Movie: This is more like it. Though Green Lantern takes on country with regressive traditions and sound-based inventor is a weird direction to take it, but it might work in a more out-there, earth-based series.
Finale Movie: In a trilogy with more street level villains like Dr. Polaris or Goldface, I could see the concept being a good finale to build to. Maybe.
Supporting Villain: Again, I would love it if Green Lantern had a well-known teamup of street-level villains like these guys. He'd be like the Kraven of the crew or something.
Here are my rankings of them:
Sequel Movie: Probably the best place for it.
Supporting Villain: Why, oh why, does this not seem to be a thing?
Finale Movie: Only in a silly street-level series like that.
Origin Movie: No.
What do you think? Who should I cover next?

Lace's Official Ranking of Couples from The Flash
26: Amunet Black and Goldface
I don't really know what to say about this one. Like, they're just ridiculous. I felt like they took up way too much screen time, though it honestly wasn't even that much, it's just that they were an irreverent distraction while we were waiting to find out what would happen to Iris. But at the same time, they were much more entertaining than some of the other minor couples on this show. And you gotta love the fact that they have the same couple's therapist as Barry and Iris. They're both evil and their relationship is messy, but in the end, they make it work, like the supervillain Chuck and Blair of the Arrowverse, but with less style.

I feel like Batman and his villians get all the love, and it perplexes me. Because trust me: I love Batman villians (even if i really, really hate batman 90% of the time). But despite liking most batman villians, I wish more supervillians would get their day in the sun.
Look at Superman's Rogues Gallery. Lex Luthor, Parasite, General Zod (and like 10 other Phantom Zoners), Livewire, Metallo, Atomic Skull, Mister Mxyzptlk, Toyman, The Prankster and Terra-Man. Then look at Flash (Barry Allen) and his rogues gallery: Captain Cold, Heat Wave, Trickster, Captain Boomerang, Abra Kadabra, The Top, Pied Piper, Mirror Master and the Rainbow Raider. Superman and Flash have more than enough rogues for their own tv shows and games and comics, but i'm not done. We still have the other four founding JLA members to cover (besides martian manhunter, since nobody ever gives j'onn the star treatment he deserves).
But look at Wonder Woman's foes! Ares, Angle Man, Doctor Psycho, Circe, Cheetah, Blue Snowman, Silver Swan and Giganta! Look at Aquaman's villians! Black Manta, Ocean Master, King Shark, The Scavenger and The Fisherman! Finally, let me mention all of Hal Jordan's foes: Sonar, Sinestro, Hector Hammond, Goldface, Evil Star, Star Sapphire, the Weaponers of Qward and so many more. All these characters have interesting villians. But Batman is the only one who gets attention. I don't mean to complain (since i do still like batman's villians), but i wish these heroes we see so little of would get more love and respect.

I decided to tier list rank all the Green Lantern Earth villains from beginning Alan Scott to current day GL Corps
Some of these may be shared villains with other heroes, but they're still GL related. This is also based purely on my own opinions and what little I've read about them while making this tier list. (aside from Major Force cuz I didn't read his.. I think he's a popular-ish character and that's for a good reason, right? yeah..)
as far as I am aware, this is just about all of them, too?
Names of each one listed down below cuz I know a lot of these gotta be like super obscure and/or hard to recognize:
Tier 1: Sonar <3 but only the pre-New 52 version. New 52 can just rot. they did him so dirty. I like a pathetic little loser man and he has a LOT of potential to be a great recurring villain.
Tier 2: Major Force, Harlequin (Molly Mayne), Solomon Grundy, Red Lantern (Vladimir Sokov), Black Hand
Tier 3: Karshon, Icicle, Sportsmaster, Javelin, Harlequin (the 3rd one, she is unnamed), Hector Hammond, Tattooed Man (Abel Tarrant), Effigy, Major Disaster, Ohm, Nero
Tier 4: Vandal Savage, Harlequin 2 (Marcie Cooper), Invisible Destroyer, Puppeteer, Doctor Polaris, Lamplighter, Goldface, Crumbler, Purgatory
Tier 5: Ferenc Aldebaran, Gambler, Tattooed Man 2 & 3
Tier 6: Knodor, Sky Pirate, Professor Ojo, Doctor Parris, Saboteurs, Yellow Peril (terrible name), Demolition Team
#ghostie mumbles#green lantern#alan scott#hal jordan#kyle rayner#tier list#tagging a few of the GL's themselves cuz some of these villains belong to them respectively.#//long post
