Just watched/read Dandadan and there's something familiar about the boyo lol
Jokes aside, I think Okarun and Dib would be friends!
OR Dib would stab him, considering Dib's first reaction to meeting an alien was "I'm gonna catch and dissect you!" Because he's the most feral 12 year old to ever exist.
But they'd EVENTUALLY be friends. After a bit of stabbing.
#dandadan#okarun#invader zim#i literally had a good couple minutes where i thought they had the same voice actor#i was like- ''wh-DIB???''#but no.#Dib is like if Okarun was like-50% more feral#he's such a sweet kid i love him#also i have never shipped a ''main'' pairing so much in my life#Okarun and Momo are SO CUTE#dib membrane#i did not expect to get obsessed with the dick joke manga but YET??!#go watch Dandadan right now it's so good#give it to like#episode four abouts#dont remember EXACTLY when i got hooked#but it was definitely by the eighth episode#cause thats all there was (there are nine now i think) and i was like#i NEED more#luckily i have a shonen jump subscription and they have it#(it being the manga. cause it's a manga service#hehe#the anime's on netflix and hulu#probably other places too#also the only reason dib never stabbed anyone in canon is because it was a nickelodeon show fight me

Hii there, Do you watch anime by any chance? Have you watched that new anime called Dandadan? I got this idea in my head after watching episode 1 and it really cracked me up.
What about some scenarios with the fellswap bros, mal and mutt, with a reader who challenged them to go with them to a haunted place where ghosts are rumored to reside. And when they went there, the bros meet the ghost first. How would the skellies react???
Thanks much!
Heyy traveler!! I do watch anime some times, though I haven't seen Dandadan yet. I hope this ended up as you expected!
For some reason I decided to make the ghosts an old couple just because?? Idk wanted to tell y'all that :3
I made it platonic btw, hope you don't mind!
Featuring: Mal and Mutt
Masterlist
Mal
"Come on Mal! It'll be fun!"
Mal rolls his eyes as he cuts some vegetables, you've been bugging him all week to go to a "haunted house", it was rumored that the old residents were murdered and stayed in the house to hunt whoever dares to enter their residence. For Mal it was all bulshit, but you wouldn't shut up about it, and if there's something Mal loves more than cooking is proving some they're wrong.
So he agreed, and to make it more "scary", he decided to go at 3 am, did he just fuck his perfect sleep schedule to prove someone wrong? Yes.
He didn't even wait for you to arrive, Mal simply walked inside without any worry, grabbing his phone and started recording.
"See (_____)? There's No Such Thing As A Ghost Here!"
"Uh excuse me young man..?"
"Whaaaaaaa-"
Mal's jaw dropped as a not familiar old face appeared behind him.
"May you please speak a bit quieter..?"
"AHHHHHHH (_____) GET ME OUT OF HERE!!"
The skeleton screamed while holding the phone and ran to the exit, stopping once he was outside and catching his breath. The ghost of an old lady stayed behind looking confused with a yarn ball on her hands.
"People these days.."
Mutt
"I'll go-"
A smile started forming in your face.
"- As long as you're going with me.."
"Deal!"
After a long, long time you've finally convinced your friend Mutt to go to a haunted house, he refused to go on Halloween so it may seem like you two are crazy to enter an abandoned house in the middle of the night? Maybe, but who cares again?
"Here we are!"
As you walked inside, Mutt walked right behind you, holding onto your jacket, any creak and noise seemed to scare him, since he was looking behind his back.. just to make sure..
"I don't think this was a good idea (_____)"
No response.
"(_____)?"
He turns his head to where you were, did he let go of you and you didn't notice? Oh no no no, he turned his head to every side possible while panicking.
"(_____)!? Where are you!?"
"Are you looking for someone, young man?"
Mutt stopped and looked behind him, seeing a blueish-transparent old man staring at him.
"AHHH (_____)!!"
He cried for you as he ran in whatever direction his body was pointed at, almost tripping and falling in the way.
"Mutt?"
He stops at his tracks and looks at you, charging at you full force, wrapping his arms and legs around your body like a pillow and making you two fall to the ground.
"(_____)!! I-i was so scared don't leave me like this never ever again!!"
You look at the doorway, seeing the same man who Mutt saw moments ago, staring at the both of you with a concerned expression .
"Excuse me, is your friend okay? Does he need something? A cup of water with sugar maybe?"
"Uuuuh o-oh no, no, he's okay now..?"
"Alright then, there's an exit next to the kitchen.."
The man's raspy voice is the last thing you hear before he disappears, you sign and grab one of Mutt's cold hands, walking towards what the man told you was an exit, when you two are out of the house, the skeleton drops to the ground, grabbing grass with his arms like he was giving the dirt a hug.
"Please remind me never to come here ever again.."

Supernova Adelaide 2024 Report!!!!
I didn’t actually spend too long at Supernova though, so this doesn’t exactly count as a whole report technically LOL
Anyhoo!
The last convention of 2024! Time really has flown, hasn’t it?
I cosplayed as Ayase Momo from the hit series Dandadan!! I went with my good friend (@piedivide) who was Okarun from also the hit series Dandadan (go watch/read it NOW).
We had loads of fun doing various things that I wanted to write down! ✌︎('ω')✌︎
All under the cut!
Pre-Con!
I woke up at 8am to get ready, since I wasn't trying to get to the convention early as the other times. I knew it would only take me an hour or two, tops.
I have to be honest here.
I lied in my last report about a certain little aspect…I didn't have time to do a whole cosplay test AGAIN because of university. I had an assignment due the day before I was meant to go to the convention….
This is becoming a trend….
I had no idea how I would look like on the day, and I didn't have high hopes since I messed up the wig a little bit while trying to style it and it didn’t look like much on the actual wig stand.
I cut too much from the front so I wasn't able to do the swoopy parts Momo has in her hair. I also tried teasing for the first time, and that worked way better than I expected...but her hair doesn't have a lot of volume so I probably shouldn't have.
It happens.
While I was getting ready, I felt a little deflated because it didn't really look like anything at the time (despite not being done) but I trusted in the process. I did my usual makeup and…it all came out WAY better than I was expecting!
It wasn't so horrible!
I was really happy with the final look! I really thought I looked like Ayase Momo at the end!
As you may tell, this isn’t exactly the right outfit for Momo. I’m missing the earrings and the skirt is wayyy too long….
I have a simple answer for that.
The cosplay outfit I ordered didn’t come despite ordering it two months in advance to make sure it would be here and that I could actually try it on and whatnot.
Weh.
I ordered from AliExpress for the first time in September since Dandadan wasn’t airing at the time and I thought that they would be the only place who would have it. I ordered the school shoes and the wig from there as well.
The shoes and wig shipped pretty quickly, but not the outfit which shipped in the middle of October apparently???? I think this was my fault, I should have chosen a better shop to order from...I was the first sale...
I didn't even look, I just ordered blindly since the price was decent and it had everything I needed. The tracking hasn't updated since then either...I don’t think it’s going to come at all…
I was in a real pickle since I was meant to cosplay alongside Pie for AnimeGO and Supernova as Momo, and I couldn't be Momo without the outfit! I was seriously considering to do one of my previous cosplays instead as I told Pie.
That is, until he suggested that I should just make the outfit myself since it was pretty simple. I already had a skirt and a top from my Sucrose cosplay from last year that I could use, so it wasn't impossible!
All I needed was a jumper, leg warmers and red ribbon and I would have the outfit!
I couldn't give up that easily when I still had time. I had about a week or so to get everything before Supernova, since we decided not to cosplay for AnimeGO in the end because all of all this.
I ordered some leg warmers online first, then I got a pink jumper from Uniqlo that was the perfect shade (that Pie kindly went to buy for me since I couldn't get to the city, thank you once again!). I did have to buy a new white collared top at the end as Sucrose's had green accents that wouldn't work with Momo.
When I got ready, I headed out!
Fun fact, I hit my head on the car when I got to the station (I take the train to the city and back) and it knocked my wig back and kind of ruined all my pinning LOL
I got on the train which was rather packed much to my dismay. I sat behind these girls who had some rather riverting conversations about jeans and people. I arrived at the station where Pie was waiting for me, all dressed up as Okarun!
I walked over, and then I sped walked over because I felt like I was taking too long to get there LOL
The duo was together once again and ready to storm the convention as always! YOU LOOKED GREAT PIE!!!
Con!
(@/ai_zyu9 as Kangel and @/ztqrrz as Hu Tao on Instagram!!!)
Thanks for the photo!!! You two look amazing and I’m very happy you asked for a photo of us!
We didn't stay too long at Supernova. I think we were only there for an hour or so LOL, but we still had a lot of fun!
Pie and I arrived at the convention, phones out at the ready to scan our tickets. We saw a crowd of people in a certain direction so we went towards them, but man it was confusing. A sign kept pointing towards the food trucks to where we could get our wristbands for some reason.
Unless they gave out wristbands too, I doubt we had to go there.
We went closer to the entrance and we heard immediately that we had to go to the line that was behind us that was so easy to miss since it blended in with the surroundings. Why didn't they make that more clearer????
We got our wristbands at the end and headed in! It didn't look too different to last time, but the layout changed with some new stands and booths! There was a community library this time around that was filled with many manga that you could read and that was heaven to me.
I love manga. Did you know I can read a whole volume in 20min or less?
I am a quick reader. Pie can attest to that.
I uh...went a little crazy with the print buying. I spent wayyyy too much on these....
I couldn't help myself.
I got the Ellen Joe and Nicole Demara prints from Zenless Zone Zero because I love Ellen's design a lot and Nicole's poster looks really cool that I couldn't pass it up. The Bocchi the Rock one is very dynamic and I like the anime so I chose it too!
The Honkai Star Rail one is the print that Pie got me, it's our tradition to buy ourselves one print for each other when we go to a convention! (thank you so much againnnnnnnn).
I got a Tokyo Mew Mew print for myself because it was my first ever anime that I watched and I always wanted a print to reflect that! It's sort of the same case for the DDLC one, I was obsessed with it back in 2017 and I still like the game to this day.
I don't have space for all of these....help. I need to take down all my posters I already have up and start choosing which ones I want to display on my wall and what I want to put away.
The struggles.
I also was meant to have some square prints that I also bought but I didn’t get them at the end which kind of sucks….
After we looked around and bought what we wanted, we decided to eat something since we both skipped breakfast. I think it’s the general cosplayer’s experience to barely eat while at a convention and I don’t think that’s a good thing lol
We got crepes!
It was the only thing I actually ate all day (aside from some Pringles when I got back), which isn't that good for my health in retrospect aha
I got a Nutella and Strawberry one and it was really good and warm! I also managed to spill some on me and had to go down to the bathroom to wash it off because it managed to get on the very bottom of my jumper and I smudged it LOL
I managed to get most of it off with some water, so it was all fine! I should have eaten it facing the table so it wouldn't spill on me, but alas. I shouldn't eat anything Nutella in cosplay as I’ve realised, I will spill it on myself or on my glasses somehow (don’t ask).
Pie and I took some videos together before leaving the convention completely!
We went to a little corner outside of the pavilion and set up my tripod that I bought last year from Kmart! I always struggle getting my phone into the holder so Pie helps me with that...I have noodle arms as I like to call it.
I use TikTok to record! It has many sounds, various filters and a countdown that we can use. The only downside is that I have to post privately before I can download the video without a watermark, which is so stupid in my opinion!
Why did they change that?!
Anyhoo, we stalked TheAnimeMen account for sounds we could use, since they made a Dandadan music video and had recorded some with just Momo and Okarun! There were a few sounds we wanted to do, so we did them!
I kept messing up and I was probably the most silliest out of the both of us while on camera. I feel like I'm more oddly confident for some reason than in person, and I think that can be seen when you watch the videos I make.
(psst, go to @/mikudachii on TikTok to see or click here)
It was a lot of fun though!
At one point, we were scrolling through my saved sounds to see if we could do any of them, but it mostly made us laugh at how stupid some of them where. It also left me wondering why I saved half of them in the first place.
After that, we headed back to the city! We had places to be!
My feet were utterly killing me at that point, those school shoes aren't as comfortable as they look like. I had to sit down and change into my sneakers that I brought with me, knowing that this would probably happen.
My feet still kind of ache now.
Arcade!
We headed to the arcade!
Pie and I have always wanted to go in cosplay, but there weren't any proper ones in the city until rather recently ehe
There are a bunch up north called Timezone that we’ve been to at multiple locations, but it was crazy to think how the actual city itself didn't have a single proper arcade in it.
However, we finally got our chance when the Paradigm Arcade came about! It’s probably my favourite one out of all the ones I’ve been to, and I highly recommend going if you’re in Adelaide!
It is filled with many rhythm games that we enjoy a ton, like Chunithm and Sound Voltex and there's usually barely any people at those machines since no one knows what they are! It's literally the greatest thing ever.
It's perfect.
They recently got DDR that we got to try out! It’s an older version of it that has many different songs on it that we could choose from, including Pomp and Circumstance from Vocaloid??????
I love this song to bits (despite the questionable lyrics and uh…sounds) but I have never seen a rhythm game that had it before until that very moment. I was very overjoyed and immediately chose it without a second thought.
This machine was way more responsive than the newer ones I've tried, but I still suck at DDR so it didn't help as much in the end. They just got Dancerush Stardom and I’m so excited to try it out when I head back to the city!
I got to use gloves for the first time (I bought them the last time I was in the arcade) and it was very helpful for Chunithm since I always struggle with holding the slider, especially if it moves across the screen.
I got Joker Persona 5 and Ann Persona 5 in their dancing outfits, it was very cool!
I recorded many dumb videos for myself while waiting for my turn to play and watching Pie do his thing. I wonder if I’ll ever post any of them for the world to see, although it’s just me vibing in a dark place filled with lights lol
Ky Kiske Guilty Gear is that you????
I love how Pie immediately pointed that out, literally every single blond haired guy with blue eyes is automatically Ky in our brains. I mean…it does kinda look like him….
Guilty Gear is so peak, I highly recommend checking out the story and the wonderful music! You won’t regret it, trust me!
I main Elphelt in Strive and now I’m adding Dizzy to my list of mains! I love her design in this game to bits and her gameplay is fun! For Xrd, I main Jack-O’ and Elphelt! I’m not very good at either of them but it’s fun playing!
Here I go blabbing about Guilty Gear…maybe my brainrot will come back…..
We also played Maimai Fantasy!
It was a version we never played before since the Timezone arcade has Maimai Buddies. It had a whole bunch of things we can do aside from the rhythm game like collecting cheese and spreading honey on trees. It was a bit weird but it was still fun!
This machine is upstairs for some reason, while the rest of the machines are down in the basement floor. You also don’t have much space between the rail and the machine, but it’s okay! You don't complain when its there in the first place.
We were going to try out the Photo Booth before we left, but we ran out of credits so we didn’t bother. You can only recharge downstairs as the machine is there and we didn’t want to go back down again just for that.
We headed out after that!
Karaoke
It’s our tradition to go to karaoke after every convention!
This time around, there were certain Serbian songs I wanted to sing after becoming obsessed with them. My background is Serbian so I can speak it, but I feel like I barely show it off in general. This was my chance to show Pie some more songs!
The first one was Crno I Zlato from Seka Aleksic that I learnt first, the second was Ko Si Ti by Sasa Matic and Aleksandra Prijovic that I put my heart into and the third was Sve Bi Ja I Ti by Sasa Matic that Pie found a banger!
I'm glad I could sing them!
We then sang some sad songs, I did Shine like Rainbows from My Little Pony (the songs are good okay), then we did some songs together for fun! I liked when we did I Threw It On The Ground, a wonderful yet stupid song at the same time.
I think I called Pie stupid at one point by accident LOL (i'm sorry)
At the end, I showed off my epic rap skills but it didn't even have the second part of the song! ( 。 •`ᴖ´• 。)
The people working at the karaoke place seemed to have forgotten to turn us off since we had done about two hours and we could still sing, but we left regardless. I had a train to catch and I couldn't be late for that.
Sometimes I wish I lived in the city.
Going Home!
I thought heading home would be uneventful as usual, but I was proven wrong.
I had to change trains and go to a new platform right before I was meant to leave, which has never happened to me before. There was no explanation as to why aside from an announcement that I've never seen or heard in my life.
I found out that there's a tap for water in the station and some kind of lockers in the station this whole time??????
I’ve been in it since I was a kid…
I then had to scan my ticket again in the new train. I took too long getting my card out that I went in and I swear the security person was staring at me and putting me on their mental hit list or something for not scanning it right away LOL
While I was on the train, there was an announcement for ticket checking that I've also never heard before. I don't know why I'm only seeing these now but it's cool that they exist...although it felt like I was lowkey getting kidnapped or something.
Speaking of weird experiences....
As I was walking from the station platform to where I was being picked up by my mum, I could hear this creepy voice suddenly behind me. I swear to everything that I heard it, and it made me feel rather uncomfortable…
It kept talking about a girlfriend and what might happen if something happened to her and to make matters worse, there was a shadow behind me that wasn’t my own when I looked to the side. I didn't dare look back at the voice, but I didn't take my chances either.
Hell NO.
I started speed walking out of there across the tracks, not wanting to be near whoever the hell that was. There wasn't anyone behind me when I looked back (after getting closer to where my mum was), so I sort of filed away the experience as a figment of my imagination and left it at that.
Did I imagine it???? Maybe....
That's it for this report!
Thank you for reading it if you do, I always like making these! It gives me a chance to look back and reminisce about all the fun times I had in the future!
I can't wait for 2025!!! There are many big plans in store so look out!
Thank you for coming with me, Pie!! I always enjoy every time we go together and I know that we’re going to get even better and better at cosplaying!!!
I’m always very grateful that we have this opportunity to go!! :D

Besides kn8 i can see you're in a ton of fandoms and I'm curious to ask, what are some good mangas you've read/animes watched that you'd recommend? I'm bored and desperate to binge lol
Aaaaaah, this is tough to answer because I like sooo many things of sooo many varieties lol I'm afraid liking Kn8 as much as I do is very unusual for me since I normally find battle Shounen tiring... but every now and then, there'll be an exception!!
One manga I've been reading since it first started is Rumiko Takahashi's MAO, published in Shounen Sunday. If you've enjoyed some of her past works (Ranma 1/2, Urusei Yatsura, Inuyasha, Kyoukai no Rinne, Maison Ikkoku, etc. etc.) then this one is definitely worth checking out. It may not be the flashiest series ever - the author is in her sixties after all - but she's put out quality stories for decades and MAO is no exception. Rather, it's one of my favorite Takahashi works by far. Plot-wise I'll say it's something of a murder mystery at heart, though there's also time travel, onmyouji magic and romcom fun as well. Currently ongoing at 250 chapters, there's plenty to keep you busy lol
Another manga I have to recommend at every opportunity is Yugami-kun ni wa Tomodachi ga Inai. There's no official English translation, but the series is complete at 81 chapters and fully translated by fans online. It's a slice of life series about Chihiro, a girl who's just transferred to a new school and is desperate to make friends after years of moving from town to town. There she meets the titular Yugami-kun, who prides himself on being a loner who doesn't need or want friends. Simple, right? Yes it is. Just a simple slice of life. But trust me when I say, IT IS THE GREATEST SLICE OF LIFE YOU'LL EVER FIND. In my opinion lol
As for more popular things, I'm also keeping up with Dandadan and Spy x Family these days ^^;; Dandadan is wild insanity in the funnest way possible, but also covers a lot of really heavy topics which I appreciate. Spy x Family is delightful of course, but also not without dark times - I really do love stories that are incredibly fun, but not afraid to go to dark places - while staying hopeful. Always hopeful. That's the most important part, and what I love about Kn8 as well!!
And... this is a bit random, but there's a scifi anime on Netflix called A.I.C.O. Incarnation that I really like. It's a flawed series, but scifi are hard to come by and it's a biotech scifi in particular which is always very interesting to me. It's a tight anime-original storyline of 12 episodes, with consistently good animation and a standout cast of characters. Said characters also wear battle suits for the majority of the episodes, firing guns and carving their way through monsterous attacks... so not unlike Kn8 in that sense lol
If you have any specific rec requests (manga/anime similar to XYZ series or something of a certain genre) then feel free to let me know - there are lots of great shows and manga I enjoy but it's hard to narrow everything down when my brain's a tangled mess >.<;;
#thanks for asking!#kaiju no. 8#mao manga#yugami kun ni wa tomodachi ga inai#aico incarnation#anime recs#manga recs#random babbling

[People I'd like to get to know better]
thank you tagging me @weepycat !!! I remember first getting on tumblr and seeing these all the time and wanting to do them so bad but I was too shy. I hope ur doing well!!!
Last song: Misty Mauve by Tatsuro Yamashita. I found a clean rip on SoundCloud and it's been my one song I repeat on there so I avoid ads. I've memorized phonetically 85% of the song since spanish and Japanese have the same sounds. I've played this song for years now it's crazy but also it's so good I highly rec it
Favorite color: there's a specific shade of yellow orange that just really brightens my day like what a sunset looks like right before the sky turns to night. Between Mandarin peels and Neon orange climbing rope. Specifically when it's like the splash of color in an otherwise muted scene idk. I feel like my answer changes a lot tho
Currently watching: I guess the last thing I watched was Dandadan with a friend of mine, I saw the first episode and ended up reading the entire manga so it's likely going to be the series I keep up with. Very excited to see turbo granny soon
Currently reading: I just fixed up my nook and downloaded all of Brandon Sandersons stormlight archive books, I've just finished part 1 of his first book The Way of Kings. I'm reading since my friend really wanted me n other friends ti read it so she could start a book club so I'm reading it partly for her and partly because I haven't bitten into a fat fantasy book in a while and I know I'd like it. I was starting his other book mistborn but was told off and instructed to read the way of kings first so im doing that. I'm also reading the manga Gachuakuta as it comes out chapter by chapter with one of my close friends it's been really fun being able to follow a manga as it releases and the art style goes hard.
Last movie: took me a second but I think it was Doctor Sleep at a friend's movie night. I have not watched the shining. Which I feel adds to the experience in a sideways unique way. Rebecca Ferguson's hat in that movie is so funny. I liked it but it felt kinda insane. Like it could've been weirder but it had some shining Hollywood ropes to jump thru. Very fun otherwise very silly.
Sweet/spicy/savory: Sweet I'm sorry to my spicy and savory lovers I'm right there with you but I've recently embraced and accepted I have a sweet tooth and it's been wonderful. I can still throw it down spicy style with only a little crying and savory is soooo close too but sweet. The grip honey in my tea has on me.
Relationship status: I'm dating someone rn 🫣 it's been about 2 months since our first date and it's been really nice🥰. It's been really helpful since in August I needed to get rid of a friend crush which is now back to being a good friendship and today I'm gonna introduce my date to a lot of friends so I'm half nervous half very excited for people to meet. Every day I thank God for Bi women. Bi4Bi baby
Current obsession: Competitive Pokémon TCG. It's truly taking over my life in a good way I love it so much. I want to get to worlds next year. I have like 4 decks rn and I'm making more. My strongest deck and most consistent(despite it being by nature an inconsistent deck) has been playing Lugia Archeops I love those two pokemon and I love how the deck plays. It's a joy to look at new cards and try and game theory new innovations or strategies against other met decks and I have been really good about not buying packs and gambling away money. I will buy singes and b happy. Please talk to me about this I will happily explain and help you get into it.
I will tag @hoth-damn @lieblingsfags @theflyingsealion @stantler @infernape @reptilepolice @poochyenas @kumatora @rexroads @ainawgsd @stylesheet @ava-stuck @castellla @shimptank @tzuyusgf @151 @vivillon @ithoughtitwasbroccoli @beleth

Rudy Recs: Witch Watch (and its bittersweet love story)
I've written in the past before about some of the things I've been reading in shonen jump, You and I are Polar Opposites as an example, and the current generation of manga in their lineup right now has some interesting stuff going on. Somehow, Witch Watch is not one of the manga I hear other people talking about as often as the others and I think that's a real shame!
Kenta Shinohara has 2 award winning manga under his belt and even though his concepts don't have this really intense fantastical hook and his art isn't clamoring for attention in the ways things like Chainsaw Man or Dandadan do, I think Witch Watch has incredible range. It's part romance, part slapstick comedy/gag manga, and part shonen battle manga all together, bouncing back and forth between these different styles each chapter.
I always felt like it was just really solidly put together and consistently entertaining (except for when the story focuses on some side characters writing fan doujinshi which bores me to DEATH), but the thing that made me feel like I needed to write about it was the way the series handles the romance between the two main characters, Nico, the witch given a prophesized control over every type of magic, and Morihito, her childhood friend and chosen protector because he happens to be one of the last Ogres in the world.
I'm going to be talking spoilers for things that happened in recent chapters, so be warned!
I will put a warning when I get to it, but I like writing about these things because I personally think getting someone to gush about specific instances of well executed craft gets me more interested in checking out new things than anything else.
The basic setup to their romance is that Nico has a crush on Morihito (which she calls Moi and I'll use this nickname for convenience) and she begins living with him as her mother received a prophecy that some evil force will try to use Nico and her unnatural powers for evil purposes that will ultimately bring her harm in the process. Moi is chosen to be Nico's familiar to protect her from whatever this vague danger may end up being, but we see their personalities clash right away. She's very aware of him and he seems very stone-walled and closed off, despite their being some sort of connection between them from childhood.
The two get into a lot of wacky situations as Nico attends school and continuously uses her powers to try to help classmates with their personal troubles and they make some new friends along the way with their own special powers. The household of just the two of them grows into a house of 4 boys and Nico, with two other girls making frequent appearances. We learn about all these characters and their quirks and see how they are all invested in helping Nico try to form a relationship with Moi. It's not until a good handful of chapters later that we learn that in typical Nico fashion, she had somehow ended up putting a curse on Moi when they were children that locked Moi into being "best friends forever" with Nico, essentially kneecapping any romantic growth from sprouting from Moi.
It's not that important to what I wanted to talk about, but I do think this is such a fun story device because it completely fits in line with everything we've learned about Nico and what every wacky situation stems from in this series: Nico somehow uses her magic in ways that challenge the intuitive way the powers would seem to work and creating unintended effects on top of what the power is supposed to do. Nico's bond with Moi ever since they were children has also become the reason that nothing will ever happen between them.
EXCEPT... All of their new friends have sussed the situation out and form a plan to break through the curse and free Moi to accept the feelings that are actually blocked off inside his heart that they all know are there. They even have this fun visual metaphor of a heart with a valve leaking romantic feelings that gets repeated all through this arc.
They try some things to get Moi to over flow with feelings faster than the curse can repress them which is fun but ultimately fruitless, only for Moi to accidentally being able to listen in to Nico tell everyone that she loves him because of all his flaws that are center to his insecurities that make him close up. It's a beautiful moment that caps it off with using that visual metaphor again to really push emotion to the reader and I thought this was so effective!
From here on, I think what I want to talk about is spoilery enough that I should put a marker here for people that don't want to see anymore before reading:
**SPOILER WARNING!!**
The two both have feelings for each other at this point and Moi wants to confess to Nico now, but tragedy strikes as the big bad makes his move to attack Nico and friends which ends up costing Moi his life as he gets shot in the chest with a gun. Nico uses her powers to heal him at the cost of something of her own and what she ends up giving up is her time, which includes her memories, and turns back into a 5 year old.
The group find out that Nico can be restored to her natural state by collecting these magic butterflies that escaped from her body during her spell, and here is where I think this series does something that really grabbed me.
I read a LOT of manga. Like, scouring for new stuff to read every day. Comics are my primary source of entertainment and I read a LOT of romance stories. One of the things that I feel like authors have to consider when writing compelling romance is how to get readers to connect with characters enough to also want to see those characters get into a relationship. In general, I think a lot of this connection buildup happens AFTER characters get together and you have to just get accept the weak initial romantic beginning (like Galaxy Next Door for example), OR the story spends its whole lifetime creating their bonds slowly and ends right as they get together which annoys me, personally (hoping this one doesn't do that, but we will have to see).
What I think Witch Watch does here is so striking and unique; Nico and the gang put in so much effort in between their escapades to get these two characters together so that they can be happy. Right when things lock into place, it all comes to a halt and resets, but what doesn't get reset is the readers' understanding and connections to these characters. We're already invested in Nico and Moi and we get a second chance to see these characters form a loving connection in a really unique way that feels unpredictable as Nico slowly regains her age and memories back. It's got a bittersweet tone to it as Moi doesn't get to express his love in the way that he wants to, but we get to see such a complex form of love develop as he takes the role of a caretaker for little Nico. Love is more than romance or attraction and getting a chance to put that trope away for a bit to do something different is so refreshing. It really builds out something so much more complete and more befitting of a seinen maybe, rather than a shonen with fight scenes and mythical characters.
This current arc is the beginning of part 2 of Witch Watch, with the big bad leaving the group alone because Nico is useless to him as a child with no control over magic. We know this peace will come to an end when Nico is restored to her proper age, but we get to see the characters all get up to their silly antics again with child Nico in the mix now. It's a really cool shakeup that adds new life to the slapstick comedy bits that make up most of the story, putting the action in the back seat again for now. This is the most recent chapter at the time of me writing this (chapter 133), and seeing Moi's perspective as the point of view in contrast to Nico's experiences so far is really gripping to me. This final page of the chapter is what did it for me:
It hurts, but it's love. The pain is temporary, all for the goal of being together when it's all over, with a connection deeper than anything that they would have formed otherwise.
Please go give Witch Watch a read! It's really fun!!

FALL SEASON ANIME 2024 FIRST IMPRESSIONS (PART 1)
The fall season is mostly known for being the one with the heavy hitters in terms of anime, and even tho not much managed to catch my attention let's see how heavy they hit lol
ACRO TRIP
Now lemme tell ya that this is the only anime this season I saw the first episode 100% blind, I don't even know the premise of it, just saw the title and decided to watch in lol.
So from what little I gathered we have Chizuko who is a girl that hasn't shown much interest in moving away from home since she is pretty much used to it, until one day she watches a Magical Girl fight in this new town and immediately decides to live there, and due to some circumstances she'll end up working with the villains.
So the purple haired girl loves Magical Girls, and without wanting to in the first place she'll end up working for the evil organization... Looks like this will be a more tame MahoAko with even it's own Utena included xD. Either way it was chill, I dunno if I'll be watching the next episode yet but this one was okay in general.
DANDADAN
Okay, I'm gonna try (and fail) to be unbiased here lol
So, this was the main anime that leaked back in August that concerned me, since I saw the first trailer andI was waiting patiently for it, but when I heard the first 6 episodes leaked I decided to read the manga in case I got spoiled... The results of it were me becoming a Fandadan and being extremely hyped for the anime to drop and honestly? This first episode lived up to the hype easily.
The story was going to be a banger either way since I read the manga but the rest? it exceeded my expectations greatly. The animation is smooth as hell; the voice acting is perfect; the color design, which I was pretty worried about (thought it'll be too jarring and I wouldn't like it) is amazing; the pacing is perfect; THE OPENING IS A BANGER (Creepy Nuts doesn't miss, OP of the year imo) and the ED is really good too. There has been only one episode but imo this has to be a heavy contender for Anime of the Year at minimum, alongside the likes of Oshi no Ko S2 and Frieren's 2nd cour. It was extremely good. Definitely a must watch.
I wasn't gonna make a part 2 but I really want to put this out right now lol, part 2 will be probably tomorrow.

Silver Talks AniManga (20/08/23)
aight some things I wanted to mentioned in this week's post
no zom ep since something else aired in it's timeslot so the ep got pushed to next week
watched this week's bleach episode, kenpachi's since he's my fav guy (fav out of everyone is yoruichi), and while I was sad there was no sakuga it was still very cool
black clover is close to ending but is moving from WSJ to Jump Giga which means it'll take a billion years to end now (1 to 2 years according to my buddy mega) so now I'm not in a rush to catch up to it anymore yay
Anime
Pokemon Horizons Ep18
extremely good episode, one of the best so far easily even. even if I'm still not very on board with having pikachu around again, just cause he's so marketeable, it was still very good and a nice change of pace
Atelier Ryza Ep8
that was a nice episode, pay off for ryza helping out various people in the previous episodes and getting to show the assholes of the village that she isn't all talk. only 4 eps left so they're absolutely not gonna finish the game's story so I wonder if they'll announce a cour 2 or it'll just be a "hey check out the game if you want to see more ;)" type of thing
Manga
Blooming Love Ch11
yoooooo so true brother go off anyway cute chap, as usual, not a lot happened but it had some good scenes
Dandadan Ch118
it was quite the long battle but it's finally over. it was a really good arc overall, with vamola's backstory and everyone getting power ups and getting their time to shine in battle, the end with reiko leaving cause of okarun's love was nice too. no chap next week but that's ok, yukinobu deserves the rest
Kaiju 8 Ch92
this is the fight I was looking forward to the most and it was everything I wanted and even more. there's still gonna be one more chap but it's just gonna be the final blow and it wrapping up so counting it as basically over already
Tokyo Underworld Ch50
that was pretty bad, they finally had the director do something instead of just being that worm thing, only for her to be this super powerful executioner and healing all of the good guys, only for her to get 1 shot and die right away anyway. p bad deus ex machina moment
Blue Box Ch113
excellent chap, they'd always teased that kyo had like someone before and made it seem like it was hina and I was certain it was too, but it's nice to see it was someone completely unrelated. also very good to see hina getting over this, this fast instead of it becoming a thing that keeps coming back for a billion chaps, good job miura
Sakamoto Days Ch131
that was a fun chap, p sure it was the first one focusing on sakamoto's daughter? it was p sure seeing her dragging the deer along for shenanigans. a nice cooldown chapter after all the recent tension
Akane-banashi Ch74
in true sports manga style we're getting a couple of comedy chapters to release some of the tension that built up from the competition, it'll be nice to see akane get back in her groove and get over her loss
Ayakashi Triangle Ch140
it turns out that the big power up for matsuri that's been teased for all this chapters was... her going back to wearing a fundoshi??? I mean it makes sense cause if you remember earlier in the series when she switched to girl panties it took a while to get used to and she was less effective and stuff but I still didn't see this coming at all lol

11/14/2024
I feel like I've forgotten everything that happened today too... this week doesn't quite seem real. I was so surprised to come home and realize it was now Friday. I was plotting idly how to make the most of my day before work, thinking about what food I wanted to bring with me as well, and oops! That was my last shift. Consequences of taking the first day of the week off.
I might incorporate food pictures into this too. Just for fun, to remember what I've had and what I like. I had lunch with my parents (buffet style) and ate until I felt like a tick, then split a chocolate covered strawberry with my dad. Dinner was a (bad) experiment, and then I snacked after with a veggie cup and chips from the night market at work.
Dinner was the fruit of an ill-fated labor. I got ready and went out to get my nails done after lunch, and stopped by publix to pick up just a few things... and ended up spending half an hour in the store. Goat and sheep's milk cheeses, fancy crackers, kiwi and dragonfruit and raspberries, palmers lotion and body oil(!), and then of course, what I actually came for—frozen dinners for the work freezer.
Its hard to keep track of whats good and whats shit unless it especially stands out, so I ended up buying almost all new items, except for evol's portabella and goat cheese ravioli. I also got their truffle parm mac n cheese, scott & jon's shrimp alfredo and honey sesame salmon rice bowl, and lastly, the failure—Amy's Bowls mushroom risotto. Or maybe not a failure, since I learned that Amy can't season her food for shit. It only had salt and pepper, when it was begging for at least some garlic.
But I ate it! Every last shitty bite, peas and all, because I'm grown goddammit and veggies are good for you.
My mother's bad mood and childishness today only deserves a footnote. We're only one month into Jeanne's crisis, and she's losing her mind.
Other than that, today was good :) peaceful. I started a new show, Sons of Anarchy, and its shaping up to be a lot of fun in that dramatic soap opera-y way, if they were written for old guys too chickenshit to actually be in a biker gang. Im grateful to Con for his help in watching it. I also watched the two newest eps of dandadan with Nico. Maybe I'll write a review for them in their own post.
Jade found me samoles of the Argos perfume I wanted, and Orebella's discovery kit is back in stock! I definitely need to work on saving money, but right now I only have one perfume I like wearing... I'll have to choose everything carefully.
Tomorrows goals: clean the bathroom like you mean it. Go to dinner somewhere new.
Sweet dreams.

I claim to be an anime fan but lately I've noticed I'm just growing a steady list of "animes I want to watch" rather than actually watching anything new
Chainsaw Man
Dandadan
Jujitsu Kaisen
Mob Psycho 100
Black Clover
Kamisama Kiss (this one a bit trepidatiously, it's giving me the same vibe as Fruits Basket and Ouran High School Host Club from what little I've seen and they're the only shoujo I've liked so far, but I haven't delved too deep into what's going on)
Are the top new ones right now, I'm pretty sure that Dandadan is the only actually "new" anime on this list but, again, I've been seeing cool looking anime crop up, think, "oh that's cool I gotta watch it at some point!" and then just. don't. for no good reason. And that's not even covering the older anime like
Golden Kamuy
Durarara!!
One Piece (not into the art atyle but it's a classic and very highly held by a lot of people so I want to give it a shot)
The Devil is a Part Timer
Cowboy Bebop (another classic I feel like I should give a shot for classic's sake)
Violet Evergarden
Gin Tama
Mushishi (finally had the opportunity but I was sick and siblings watched it without me and now I just feel sad looking at the title)
The Ancient Magus' Bride
Princess Jellyfish
Hunter x Hunter
Toilet Bound Hanako-kun (the art looks so so pretty don't know anything beyond that and the yokai reference)
Sweetness and Lightning
Ascendance of a Bookworm
Bungo Stray Dogs
... and already this list is so long, and now I have no idea which one to finally start with.
And on top of all that now I just really want to rewatch Natsume Yuujinchou because it's one of my favorites and I've forgotten a lot but I already watched that one!!! I have too many new ones to check out before I indulge in rewatching a story!
If anyone following me recognizes these and feels there's one on the list I must absolutely seen, "how have you not seen it yet??" feel free to weigh in.
You can add a new title too if you want to, even though that'll probably add to my problem.

Week in Review
07/07/2024 – 07/13/2024
Sunday
Week 22 of missing Cipher Academy
Undead Unluck is interesting this week – I’ve mentioned my trepidations with Remember before, and I’m still a bit worried that some old grudges are going to be dug up once people start remembering how they fought and murdered each other in previous loops, but I suppose I should trust Fuuko and her trust in her teammates to be able to overcome those bitter memories and hold onto the fact that for most of them, their lives in the current loop are the best they’ve ever had it.
SpyFam continues to be good, though I don’t have much more to say about this arc that I haven’t already said.
Finally caught up with Chainsaw Man and I don’t even really know how to feel. I’m just repeating myself, but I genuinely don’t think I’ll be able to gauge how I feel about Part 2 until it’s over. Currently, it’s just a mixture of confusion and disappointment.
The first episode of Mayoi Jiangshi took me right back to some of the frustrations I was having with Monogatari as a whole. It’s very slow paced (Araragi and Shinobu talking so much in front of the gate when there was apparently a one minute timer was excruciating, as well as all the pontificating about time travel afterwards), and the conversation topics themselves feel like they’re only gesturing to something interesting without actually being interesting themselves. The reveal that they’ve gone 11 years into the past was a fun twist, though, and I’m looking forward to things actually happening in the coming episodes. I’m also looking forward to reading the novels for myself, because I can at least control the pacing a lot more in that format.
Monday
I’m gonna do it…I’m gonna catch up on my manga…started off with Oshi no Ko and um…I don’t think I like Oshi no Ko anymore. Not even because of the incest, but it’s the problem that I’ve mentioned before finally rearing its head in full: the writer seems to like invoking dark or taboo subjects in order to hook the reader and promise them something interesting, only to pull their punches later and retroactively soften the blow of previous bomb drops (see Aqua staring into the camera and explaining to the audience how the mental age gap thing isn’t an issue or this whole Hikaru reveal). Now that it’s happening with the main mystery of the manga, I’m beyond annoyed. I hate that Ai’s murder turned out to be a tragedy of misunderstandings. Hikaru’s motivations are so stupid precisely because the writer wants him to play a part without any actual significant malice towards Ai – “I didn’t know he would kill her” are you fucking kidding me? My most charitable reading is that Hikaru wanted Ai to know the pains of being a celebrity like he does, but it just doesn’t feel like a reasonable response to being dumped…the two lines of reasoning don’t connect at all, Ai’s problem was not being able to open herself up to others, not that she was naïve about the industry she was in… The whole “lying was her way of showing love” is also such “woah this is so deep” writing, and all it does here is setup a D-grade romcom-esque misunderstanding. I really would’ve preferred it if Hikaru had a real reason for wanting Ai dead despite loving her, it would’ve made his character so much more interesting and compelling than just this sad sack “I made a huge mistake” loser we have now. For a manga that purported to show the real dark side of the Japanese entertainment industry, it sure feels like we’re just heading towards a fairly basic happy ending for everyone. The writing is just cowardly and leaning on the most egregious elements of soap opera. It’s kind of amazing how quickly I’ve been turned off of Oshi no Ko, but now I’m almost even considering not watching the anime anymore…I’ll probably watch until the end of the stage play arc (my favourite) and then drop it afterwards.
Dandadan was a very nice palate cleanser after that, with Zuma’s backstory being perfectly bittersweet and endearing. And finally we get some progress on Otarun/Momo! I will say though, Rin’s idol outfit is criminally bad. Not even in an “ew fanservice” way but from purely a design sense, it’s so ugly…I guess that was the point, but I don’t know, the same effect could’ve been achieved with a cuter looking bikini…
Tuesday
I finally watch the Let’s Go Karaoke movie and IT’S PEAKKKKKKKKKKK I think this is genuinely one of the only live action adaptations of a manga I’ve ever liked. I just love that the director had an actual vision, and isn’t just going through the motions of adapting the story with the most standard color grading and shot composition possible (cough Yuria-sensei live action show cough). They really captured the absurdist humor in Kyoji asking a middle schooler for singing lessons, and watching the two main actors interact and feeling their bond grow throughout the movie was so rewarding. Unfortunately Satomi’s actor felt a little wooden to me at times, but he shone the best in his scenes with Kyoji so that’s all I can really ask for. Kyoji’s actor was the real star of the movie, and I love everything about the way he acted his character. The mix between being bizarrely moe and cutesy and being menacing was just absolutely pitch perfect. God, I’d waited so long to watch this movie and I’m so glad that it was so worth it. 9/10.
Wednesday
Whoops
Thursday
Watched the new Make Some Noise episode with a friend and it was really funny. I loved everyone’s energy in this episode, and the drunk girls bit was the definite highlight.
Caught up with Magilumiere and I feel myself cooling on it considerably as it goes through the motions of its final arc. It’s got all the classic tropes – finally seeing the tragic backstory that motivated some important side characters, the two rivals joining forces to fight a common enemy, etc. It’s fine for what it is, I suppose, but I think Magilumiere will ultimately end up being a middling experience for me.
On the other hand, I caught up with One Piece and this is absolutely the most invested and excited I’ve felt about the manga in years, and it just keeps getting crazier with each chapter. It’s enough where I think I’ll actually start watching the anime again (especially with all the sakuga clips I see on Twitter…I’m so happy we’re past the ugly post-timeskip days). Even without all the context (because I’ve forgotten it), some of the character beats were still moving, which is a testament to Oda’s strength as a writer. I really can’t wait to watch the arcs through like I did as a kid and enjoy them as complete sections of story.
Friday
I really need to catch up on Mankai Stage. It’s been two years…and they keep coming out with new shows that I want to watch but can’t because I haven’t caught up… Shamefully I have to admit that the reason I’ve procrastinated on these despite loving A3 as a franchise is that…I don’t find the Natsugumi arcs to be very compelling… I mean, they’re cute, but it just doesn’t hold a candle to the found family vibes of Harugumi (sprinkled with whatever the hell is going on with Chikage) or the literal fights of Akigumi or the gay polycule vibes of Fuyugumi. But I’ve finally watched Mankai Stage Summer 2022 and it was fine. I’m not a Kumon or an Azami stan, but the actors they cast for them are cute and they do a good job. Honestly I’m just kind of relieved to be done with this show so that I can move on to the next one.
Saturday
Started reading City of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert and it’s fine so far. The writing is a little basic sounding, but I’m hoping I can get some good theater backstage energy from this setting.

石田お寿司 12/9/21 stream translation Part 3
This is not the full translation of the stream. I only translated the parts I could understand & interpret or parts I found interesting/important. I’m still a beginner in Japanese, so the translations may not be accurate. If you want to repost, please repost at your own risk.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(t/n: ** means translation may not be accurate.)
C: Did you become high after finishing the manuscript?
I: Nope. I was drinking soju just now.
C: I can’t resist ikemen.
I: Aren’t all ikemen super good-looking? This might be bias, but I think there are more beautiful women. They’re oozing with feminine beauty, like their skin texture. I think women are more beautiful, and they have high sense of beauty. Aren’t beautiful guys rare? That’s why, you’ll easily get attracted to these people.
C: I understand what you’re saying. Women are all sexy.
I: No, you don’t. I never said anything about women being sexy.
*Someone commented about them getting bored of looking at beautiful men & women after a while.
I: I don’t think so. I think a beauty will always be a beauty. Handsome guys will also always be handsome as long as they take care of their appearance.
C: I won’t get tired of looking at beauties, but I won’t even look at uglies.
I: What a harsh thing to say. You won’t even look at uglies? This might turn into a topic about appearance discrimination. Well, we are not born equal. Humans are living creatures that are greatly influenced by our genetics.
(t/n: The answer below may be offensive to some people. Please be aware that everyone holds their own beliefs, so please be respectful. Do not throw hates on Ishida Sui you disagree with him. Thank you.)
C: I want to fight against my genes.
I: Everyone’s the same. Aren’t we here living for that reason? Fighting against genes and death. We fight against our genes and traumas. We battle against death, though we’ll surely be defeated. Lately, I think women are enemies of men and vice versa. This happens during break up as well, but men and women are battling each other. By that I don’t mean just by clashing head-on. Being together and understanding each other are a battle itself, in my opinion. I just think that men and women are enemies. I don’t mean that we can’t understand each other. Men live to conquer women, after all. That’s why I think we’re battling against our opposite sex. People who wanna be popular are fighting too. The men wanna appeal towards women. Of course, there are battles among men themselves. For women, they’re dealing with all sorts of things, such as protecting themselves from men or put up with the absurdity of men. Men and women are different, so I think we can’t help but to fight against each other. It’s our destiny.
S******: The progression from Tagame Gengoroh’s topic to this topic is amazing.
I: That’s right. We started from talking about Tagame Gengoroh to talking about this. We diverted from talking about Tagame Gengoroh, and now we’re talking about how men and women are born to conquer each other. This applies to both non-masculine men and non-feminine women too. It’s about fighting against gender.
C: I have a lover, but I don’t remember ever fallen in love. Is it strange?
I: It’s not strange at all. You might’ve been raised like that. It’ll be tougher for you if you keep on thinking about how strange or weird you are or that you need to fit in with your surroundings. I think it’s better if you can slowly accept yourself.
C: My ex-girlfriend had an arm fetish.
I: ‘My girlfriend had a breast fetish. What do you mean? Wait, it’s actually arm fetish! Hahaha! (t/n: Ishida misread the kanji for arm.) It sounds like I’m the one who has breast fetish.
C: How about a love counselling session with listeners for 30,000 subscribers’ commemoration?
I: That’s a good idea. It doesn’t have to be about love. I’ll answer questions from subscribers.
C: How about doing ‘100 questions to Ishida Sushi’?
I: I see.
MM: On the contrary, don’t you have questions for us?
I: Are you provoking me to?! I’ll pin this comment, since it’s funny. Let’s expose this comment. What the hell is wrong with you?! I don’t have one! Who cares?! Hahahaha. What a hilarious thing to say. I’m gonna expose you. I’ll let everyone see your comment until the next ridiculous comment appears.
I: When I was playing Ghosts n’ Goblins, there’s one person who sought my love advice. She’s dating with her childhood friend and they couldn’t converse properly through chat. I told her not to then. Surprisingly, she’s really asking for advice. It’s actually a real problem. She probably had someone she could talk to. It didn’t have to be me. I found it funny how I answered that question as I liked.
*Someone suggested to him to ask the fans questions.
I: Did something good happen to you guys recently?
C: No.
C: I cut my hair.
I: That’s nice.
People in the comments: No good things happened.
I: Isn’t this bad?
C: I went to Disney Land.
*Ishida reading people’s answers.
(t/n: It sounded like he’s rapping.)
I: There’s too much to read. If you ask me questions, it’ll end with me answering them. If I ask you guys, I’ll receive a lot of responses.
I: Isn’t this good? It means you guys have good things happen to you. That’s all for my question.
C: Do you believe in fortune-telling?
I: The only things I believe in is Shiitake Uranai. (t/n: Shiitake Uranai is a fortune-telling by Vogue Girls.)
C: Have you become interested in us?
I: Well…
C: This stream won’t end until Ishida Sui sensei ask 100 questions to us.
I: I see. I can, but I’ll just ask the questions. I don’t have that many questions though.
C: Are you a virgin?
I: Yes.
C: Tell me to go to bed early.
I: Go and sleep.
C: Sensei will ask us questions half-heartedly, so it’ll end quick.
I: That’s right. I’ll only ask questions.
C: Why is Shiitake Uranai so accurate?
I: It’s designed to be applicable to anyone as much as possible. And people only look at the part which only applies to them. So, they think it’s accurate.
I: I totally understand how you guys feel. Everyone must be feeling anxious every day. You’re anxious every day, but if you can find a small happiness in it. And then, everyone, for example, usually likes to hang out and having fun with their friends, but there are times where you wanna be alone. Aren’t you this type of people? Then, you also have dreams you’ve been thinking about for so long, but you can’t tell anyone about it, and you’re not confident whether you’re capable of realising them. You have these kind of worries, but you still pursue them because you think there might be something special out of it.** Aren’t you guys like that? Did I hit the bull’s eye?
(t/n:**This line may not be accurate.)
C: Just like you said.
I: Right? That’s why, people are convinced the fortune-telling is accurate because it predicts things that can be applied to anyone.
C: You’re wrong.
I: What a strong statement.
C: Are there people who aren’t like that?
I: It’s okay if what I said doesn’t apply to you. In conclusion, fortune-tellers are people who are able to skilfully put together all these ideas.
C: You completely missed the mark.
I: Really? Then, you must be gloomy even when you hang out with people, you don’t even have a dream.
C: I didn’t listen to it all.
I: Go away! Hahaha. Go listen again.
C: Before you started streaming, I thought you had a very strict personality.
I: How should I put it? I think I do have a strict side, but don’t act as if you know me. Hehe. If we talk alone, then you’re probably right. Let’s have a conversation together one day.
C: Have you written a one-shot before debuting?
I: I probably had. The TG one I suppose.
C: A question for foreigners.
I: Do I have one? What’s your favourite colour?
C: I’m thinking of sending letters to you.
I: Send it. I’ll read.
C: I like Chimpanzee. (t/n: This comment’s in eng.)
I: I never asked about that.
*Someone commented about fan letter.
I: I do receive and read them. I read all the letters.
C: Have you watched Demon Slayer?
I: I read until the 7th volume.
C: Are the letters we sent go to Shueisha?
I: Yeah. To Shueisha, then they’ll send them to my house if you submit it to Young Jump.
C: Why you don’t say anything about TG manga or anime?
I: I have my own reasons.
C: Do you play social-networking games?
I: Nope.
I: Can’t we just have an idle talk? (t/n: He probably said this because there were questions he’s uncomfortable with.) Maybe we’ll stop here. We’ve been chatting for an hour and a half.
*Someone commented about fan letters.
I: If you submit your letter to Shueisha’s Young Jump, it may get delivered.
*Someone commented about Dandadan.
I: I read the first chapter only. I thought It was good.
*Someone commented about the time Ishida fought against his fans in Smash Bros and got beaten up.
I: That was a shock.
