"Imagination" by G M Kaye on INPRNT
How does it feel to read a book you love, and lose yourself in realms of fantasy and imagination?! That’s what I asked myself when I started to paint this piece.

A wintry evening in Osgiliath, "Citadel of the Host of Stars"
“At the height of Gondor's power the city was a reflection of the splendour of Númenor's cities, but this was not to last.”

🍁 Elladan and Elrohir Peredhel (I have always been obsessed with the twin sons of Elrond)
Initially I was going to make this piece a lot more detailed and lot less stylised (I even have a version where they’re wearing matching tunics etc ) .. but I changed my mind. Turns out I prefer them bare and sketchy for this painting! 😅 So I’m calling it done. Or abandoned. Same thing in art tbh!

Nienna of the Valar; Nienna the Compassionate; “She who weeps”
“She is acquainted with grief, and mourns for every wound that Arda has suffered in the marring of Melkor…But she does not weep for herself; and those who hearken to her learn pity, and endurance in hope.”

This is a painting of Mirrormere from the LOTR but due to its snowy nature I couldn’t resist playing with some animations and adding in THAT wistful OST from Skyrim ^^;;
Anyways, prints are available from my Etsy art shop if you’d like to own a little reproduction of this painting :’) thank you for looking!
May you always enjoy lovely, fantastical things!

“The world was fair, the mountains tall,
In Elder Days before the fall
Of mighty kings in Nargothrond
And Gondolin, who now beyond
The Western Seas have passed away:
The world was fair in Durin’s Day.”
