a/n: I loved this request and I loved the idea of a overwhelmed reader and I am just 💕💕

You were tried and you were laying on your bed, looking up at your ceiling.

“What’s wrong?” A calm voice asked. 

You happily lolled your head to your window, where the blonde boy was sitting. It was Jasper, your boyfriend.

“Today’s just been,” you shrugged, “tiring.” 

You began to rant on about how your friends were acting, how your family was bickering then switching up and laughing with each other.

You loved each and every one of them but the constant fluctuations threw you for a loop.

He had moved to sit on the bed, he fiddled with your hair as you talked, calming you slightly. 

“You aren’t responsible for their feelings and you don’t need to bring them onto you and your feelings. It isn’t good for you, lovey.” 

You moved to lay your head in his lap, “I know, I know but it’s just so hard.”

“Because you care.”

“Because I care.” 

He sighed, “It’s admirable to an extent but you need to take care of yourself.” He sat you up and you turned to look at him.

“Breathe in,” you followed his words, “Breathe out.” 

“Say it with me.” He began, “I care about people.” 

“I care about people.”

“People care about me.”

“People care about me.”

He held your hands as you went back and forth, speaking words that made you feel better and not as alone. 

“Thank you,” you said, hugging him.

He hugged you back and fell back onto your bed. “You’re welcome.”

“You’re so good to me.”

“It goes both ways. You make me feel better about myself.”

You smiled as you rolled up his sleeve and began drawing shapes on his arm. He let you do this as a sort of relaxation technique, he didn’t mind you seeing his scars and he saw yours. 

He felt a slight wave of relief come over you, he smiled to himself as he rubbed his hand up and down your back. A tip-tapping added a even greater sense of peace in your room. 

“It’s raining.” You whispered.

“It always is here.”

I want to breathe in the air of everywhere I once dreamt of making memories.

Though my hardships have shaped me,

in beautiful and painful ways that I will forever be grateful for,

I want my days to be full and affectionate.

I want to be formless,

someone who flows and moves without worry.

Some days I’m water.

Others, I’m lava.

Both are real.

Both are me.

All versions of me are honest and necessary.

Who I am is safe when respected.

I’d rather be a great friend to a few

than an acquaintance to many.

I’d rather be widely accepting

than widely accepted.

I want to be the one that others know it’s safe to turn to.

I want to be the person who I needed all those years ago.

There’s a softness within me that wasn’t always there.

It grew from heinous places.

Cold, callous, remorseful places.

My softness is my greatest strength.

To not be hardened by the very things meant to break you, that’s what I’m most proud of.

Now, everyone near me gets my light.

📍Baywalk Bañadero 🌋

Baywalk Bañadero, located in barangay Bañadero, along with barangay Wawa and Dragon View Deck in barangay Boot, was one of the most popular tourist destinations in Tanauan, Batangas province. People from the city and its neighboring cities take the time to visit the location, which is famed for its breath-taking beauty of Taal Lake and the soothing environment of the place.

My family and I opted to go jogging here since the route is so gorgeous, and with the view of Taal volcano, it's really inspiring to run in such a beautiful spot. It's also calming, and there are numerous restaurants and coffee shops around. If you feel hungry. Take a picture and everyone will assume you're on Tagaytay, but you're actually in Tanauan, Batangas.

If you wish to come here for the clean air, peace, and proximity to nature, it is highly recommended. Come here since we only have one life to live and let's always take vacations to unwind and escape from the hectic aspects of life.
