If there were yet more room to pour irritation from his brain into his expression, surely, it would show on his face. Was it all a joke to her? No, he had no way of determining whether or not Blade was speaking on his own or under Kafka's influence. Of course he didn't.

Sei turns his back to Kafka, his lungs drawing in air- breathe slow, breathe deep, he commands himself internally. His body follows suit, and he feels cool air enter through his nose, and warmer air exit through his mouth.

It does little to help calm himself down.

It had to be the truth, didn't it? He just... felt it, somewhere in the hollow of his chest cavity.

"I'm kidding. Our Bladie isn't the type of person who cares for wordplay or lying."

Our Bladie. 'Our,' as in the Stellaron Hunters'? 'Our,' as in 'yours and mine?'

It strikes Sei that both can be true. Both are probably true- or at least were, at some point- because he was once one of them.

'Our' Bladie, as in 'yours, mine, and the other Stellaron Hunters.'

He turns himself back towards Kafka- as if a dog hearing its name called, just in time for his nose to be poked- he recoils slightly, taken aback at the sudden closeness.

"Does that satisfy your curiousity?"

He nods- reflexively. It's too late to stop himself- he reacted too soon. No, he wasn't satisfied. There was still more to know...

"So... what's that make us? Family?"

Her silence is a pointed one, smile never changing, as Kafka patiently waits for the Trailblazer to sort out his own conclusions. That was in fact the point of her game and it seems he is finally cluing in.

The stellaron hunter did not appear the least bit surprised at the reveal of Blade being the one who exposed her lie, though she is not above admitting that she has underestimated just how much having a past meant to them.

"He did, did he? And you believed him." Kafka humoured. A deliberate tilt of her head is given in careful calculation. "How can you determine if he's truly telling you that of his own accord...or if he did so under the influence of my spirit whisper?"

Silence stretches thin between the both of them for a few tense seconds before she takes pity on messing with him.

"I'm kidding. Our Bladie isn't the type of person who cares for wordplay or lying."

Reclining on her seat, Kafka hums softly as she mulls over Sei's demands. Finally she leans forward....and promptly pokes the tip of his nose briefly.

"You are someone who was destined to receive and host a Stellaron from the moment of your birth. Before that task is concluded however, I was responsible for teaching you combat skills, general knowledge and protecting you. The reason why you don’t remember is that I wiped your memory before the operation at Herta Space Station. Does that satisfy your curiousity?"

Yeah, so I designed her alters and Im going to just dump the plot that I have for this story rn, because I keep thinking about them <3

This isnt going to be ALL of the plot (bc there still quite a few characters I need names for and that would be annoying) But, the mc (the gal up there ^) Im considering naming her Penelope, so thats what I'll call her.

First, some world building notes. In this world, everyone has magic and it is unique to each person. For example, for someone who is really chaotic and more 'go with the flow', their magic would represent that by being really spontaneous and a bit unpredictable to the person being attacked.

So Penelope is a sweet adorable little gal, who has DID, but no one seems to know that bit. After some terrible tragedy happened in her hometown, Penelope wanted to move away and learn how to use her magic better. She found magical stones that carry magic in them, so she doesnt have to use her main magic type. Her parents set her up to go with her new mentor in the next town over to practice using these new magic stones she found. Her mentor thinks that her main magic must be really weak, or something of that nature, since the majority of people would just opt for their main magic type.

Part of Penelope's training is to go meet the spirit of the magic she found, and talk with it to help her understand it more and grow more powerful. So she went to find this spirit, and stumbled across one. Except it was the wrong one, and it tried to possess her. Unfortunately for him, Penelope has DID sooo, his possession thing didnt work.

This is Kai, he's a jerk :)

This is his human form, but he's the spirit that tried to possess Penelope. The way that he possess people, is that his soul attaches to the other person soul, so they can not be separated or else both would slowly die. So he would then go into the persons headspace and control them from their. But because Penelope has DID, she is already very used to headspace and can control it much easier than most people. So, Kai can't really possess Penelope and can't leave. So he is forced to chill out, and become basically another alter! He would now kill for Penelope 👍

His magic type is unpredictable and quick. He prefers long ranged atracks and his main magic color is purple.

This is Miriam <3

She's the other alter in the DID sytem. She's pretty cool, and will kill for Penelope if needs be. Both of them are on good terms with each other. Penelope sees Miriam as an older sister figure. She has the vibes. She is very skeptical of everyone she meets, her mentor, Kai, the main antagonist (who I haven't named or designed yet...), etc.

Her magic type is slow but powerful, she prefers close ranged attacks, and her main magic color is indigo.

That wraps up my indrocution of these guys <3 They are So Silly in headspace. Their dynamic is so good, I want to draw it more so bad!

Danny Phantom. Cultivation Novels (my current obsession). A match made in hell? Or an exciting new adventure‽ Cause like... the Zone DOES go EVERYWHERE, right? Infinite means Infinite means "Literally Without End" Infinite.

As in, Forever.

You COULD, in fact, pick a direction and just... keep going. Forever. For always. Without end or limits. The Zone is not just "really, REALLY big and we need a word your mind could comprehend." Not "as big as a galaxy or the known universe". It is? On a scale that even GODS can not comprehend.

The place GODS go to die. A place they are BORN from. The great primordial soup where universe end and begin anew. Where the cracks are glued backed together, and the souls of the living flow in and out. Endless scraps of fabric, realities, atop a churning sea of green. Keeping everything even.

After all... you can't CREATE a soul. They got to come from SOMEWHERE. Where do you THINK they arrive from? When populations grow? Thin air‽

But... ah~, there in lays the rub, doesn't it? Would knowing the Zone? Knowing SOME of it's mysteries and machinations (for NO ONE, not even all the Ancients COMBINED, can ever claim to understand even a fraction of them all.) mean that Danny??? Was powerful in a Cultivation reality?

He's certainly a powerful GHOST.

But?? They FIGHT ghosts all the time. Wouldn't he be WEAKER and more in danger? As they try to hell the restless spirit move on? Not knowing he is balanced between life and death? They could very well kill him.

Which, given the moral standards of the Realm? Would NOT be viewed as a bad thing.

But! On the OTHER hand?

He is a ZONE ghost. Not a simple spirit. Far beyond what they are used to dealing with. Arguably? ASCENDANT. From a higher plane of existence. A lower one. Several steps to the side. He is, for all intents and purposes, shrimp colors to the human eye. The color blue to a blind man. An orb to the two dimensional.

CAN he even interact with the world's cultivation systems? Does it recognize him as a god? A dead man? Some sort of ascendant dead god?

Something... Not Right™

Yet still utterly natural? Clearly not meant to be here. Yet... not wicked. Granted, not, perhaps, benevolent. But...

Because what IS he? Is he a boy? A man? A corpse? Immortal, perhaps? Is this creature a demon? The resentful dead? They DONT KNOW! It... probably scares a lot of them. Makes some of them think he is a test. Probably makes OTHERS wanna fight (friend? Hey! New friend!).

And like? Why would Danny even BE there? He's already immortal. The swords are pretty cool... but he has Fenton tech.

So, WHY?

I propose?

His well know Anger Issues. His fear of becoming Dan. He's heard meditation is good for shit like that, right? Mindfulness and stuff. Sam recommended it. And? They were watching Fantasy Kung-fu 17, "bamboo monks of vengeance" (now with more slow motion aerial battles). So he was like? Hmmmm... those misty valleys and mountains shots DO looks relaxing... I could go camping...
