Patient Zero is a passion project and indie comic still in development that is yet to be released. The story representing the journey to recovery and healing of illness and trauma. Meant to disturb the comforted and comfort the disturbed. The story is based off the creators own life experiences and struggles with trauma, mental and physical health. Using metaphors and symbolism to tell the tale of their life.

⚠️STORY TRIGGER/CONTENT WARNINGS⚠️

Every chapter of the comic will have their own individual trigger/content warning for everything that will be included in said chapter. I want everyone who finds said material triggering to prepare themselves if they wish to proceed. If you do not care about triggering material and find the warnings to be a “spoiler” then you may skip it as you please. The warnings are for those who need them.

All of the subjects and themes included will be treated with nothing but love and care. The story explores the cause of trauma, the effects it has on a person and the work that goes into healing. The characters help each other understand their situation and find ways to cope together. My intent is to give comfort and validation to those who have gone through these hardships. To make characters that can help people understand themselves better and make them feel less alone in their struggles. But that’s why I’m so specific with including trigger warnings. The last thing I want is to harm anyone. So please, take care of yourself♡

Onto the general trigger warnings… Patient Zero includes triggering themes and depictions of-

Mental illnesses. Trauma. Disabilities. Eating disorders. Fat shaming. Self harm. Nudity. Sex. Sex/Porn/Drug/Alcohol addiction. Masochism. Grooming (sexual and non-sexual) Mental/Physical/Sexual abuse. Discussions and implications of sexual assault/r@p3. Religious trauma and imaginary. Blood. Gore. Body horror. Death. Murder. Trypophobia. Scopophobia. Homophobia. Transphobia. Strong/explicit language.

IMPORTANT NOTES-

Not all nudity is used in a sexual context. Masc and femme nipples will be shown. There will be a few sex scenes. Sex will be explicit, however sex organs and penetration will NOT be illustrated.

Self harm will be discussed and scars will be shown, the ACT of self harm (blade against skin) will NOT be illuminated.

Sexual assault/r@p3pe will be discussed and implied but the ACT will NOT be illustrated

Slurs will be used a FEW times and are ONLY those I- the author- is allowed to use. The T-slur for trans people. The F-slur for queer people. The R-slur for the mentally handicapped.

so this guy’s name is dark black and he used to be human but then he died and then his ghost accidentally got stuck in a robot oops! don’t u just hate it when that happens?

dark’s best friend’s name is frankie moreno, and she built the robot body he’s possessing!! she’s a robotics student i think, and she slays sooooo hard i love her sm

i specifically wanted to give dark all three primary colors, but then i was like what if it was cmyk bc he’s a robot lmaoooo, so dark is mostly the cyan and frankie is mostly magenta, and then there’s a surprise third part to their trio named victor who is mostly the yellow! someday i will draw him. someday…

i gotta draw these guys more often, i miss ‘em, i’ve been working on their story and the world the live in forever and i wanna get it out of my head someday. webcomic era perhaps!! thank u for reading about them i love u sm k thnx byeeeeeeeee <3333

ngl you could reverse what's on front and back for this and it would still be cool. ALSO there could be another border line in yellow and it would look nice cause the shirt is in purple

i feel like the shirt color for this is probably best as red (cause it matches the two color vibe) although i could see navy or light blue. if you wanted yellow it'd have to be more mustard so it would stick out from the white, and idk if mustard is an appropriately danger days color :/

A little exclusion art cuz it’s very fun to do (basically draw a blob and erase the line art instead of inking it, you’ll see a lot of it in Mil-Liminal and in Seemingly Dark, especially in the In Between Place and Rok!) in my fave palette from my comic Prom Night. I like to make quick pieces to get a feel of what a new story will be, instead of writing down beats, so here’s a little peek at my ideas for book two of Mil-Liminal: The Gateway!

Ibrahim is only fifteen years old and trying to survive a genocide. I will reiterate what i’ve said on other fundraiser posts:

A child should never have to beg for help for his family online. He should be in school. He should be playing video games or hanging out with his friends. This is one of the many things this genocide has taken from him and many other children his age. A childhood. Ibrahim says his dreams are to seek asylum abroad with his family and developing his scientific and technical skills.

Please help Ibrahim’s family survive and give him a chance to go to school and have the future he dreams of 🙏🏼 every child deserves a chance, he has his whole life in front of him, don’t let that be taken from him.

Like every family in Gaza, they lack basic necessities like food and water, your donations can help them stay alive in this horrible situation.

Their goal is only 20,000 euro, this is very achievable. with 2,315 euro they are nearly a fourth of the way! they need 17,685 to reach their goal, and 7,685 to reach 50%

if only 10 people donate 25 euro each every day, they will be halfway to their goal in a month. I think we can do even better than that. your donation matters!
