where is the stuff that i manifested?
why is my reality lagging? why am i, the divine, the ordained, the girl on the hill, not seeing the thing i have declared mine? i have sat in the temple of assumption. i have dined with the lords of the quantum realm. i have whispered my desires into the cosmos like a mistress to the moon. so where the fuck is it?
breathe. inhale. exhale. do not become a tragic greek figure, clawing at the sky, cursing the gods, wailing into the abyss. you are not sisyphus. you are not icarus. you are, in fact, the universe wearing a silly little meatsuit. and the universe is not incompetent.
but let’s get clinical. let’s get ruthless. let’s get biblical.
i , are you checking the 3d like a victorian wife checking the window for her husband’s ship? if you keep looking at the 3d for confirmation, you are living in the state of lack. and what does the 3d do? it mirrors. so if you live in the state of “where is it,” the 3d will say, “where is what” right back to you. congrats, you’ve manifested a waiting room. enjoy the grey chairs and outdated magazines.
ii , are you persisting or are you pouting? manifestation is not a negotiation. you do not get to sit across from the universe like a hostile business partner, arms crossed, demanding results before you believe. belief is the contract. assumption is the currency. you are either in the state of the wish fulfilled, or you are outside in the cold, shivering, looking through the window at your desire having a candlelit dinner without you.
iii , are you declaring or are you begging? the universe does not respond to “please, oh mighty forces, grant me this one thing.” the universe responds to, “this is mine because i said so.” you do not ask. you do not hope. you do not weep at the altar. you declare.
iv , are you actually embodying it? or are you just thinking about it in a cute way? imagining yourself as the version of you who has it is not a one-time aesthetic exercise. it is a full-body possession. the reality in which you have it is the real reality. this one, the one that says you don’t, is the illusion. the question is, which one do you choose to believe?
v , are you reacting to the 3d like it’s god? the 3d is old news. the 3d is a corpse. the 3d is a polaroid of a moment that has already passed. if you react to it, if you bow to it, if you let it dictate your inner world, you are breathing life back into the past instead of standing in the present, drenched in your fulfilled desire, dripping in inevitability.
vi , do you actually think it’s yours? or do you just want it? wanting is not having. wanting is the antithesis of having. wanting says, “this is separate from me.” having says, “it is done.” when you order food at a restaurant, you do not sit there worrying that it won’t come. you just know it’s on the way. so why are you treating your desire like a lost package instead of an assured delivery?
the 3d will fold. it will bend to your assumption like a devout disciple. but only if you hold the line. only if you refuse to be swayed by what is already dead. only if you walk like the god you are, not the peasant you fear you might be.
your desire is yours. it always was. the question is, will you finally start acting like it?

Injured (Alexia's Version): Future V
Alexia Putellas x Daughter!Reader
Summary: You bring home your girlfriend
Tumblr media
It’s not often that Alexia finds herself pacing.
She used to do it a lot when she was still playing. She used to pace before big games, up and down the length of the locker room until finally being allowed out to warm up.
This isn’t like that in the slightest.
This is her meeting your girlfriend.
Your Real Madrid girlfriend.
Alexia had thought you were dating that English girl that plays for Chelsea but apparently that was ‘just a fling’ and ‘sleeping with a friend’ which is something Alexia wasn’t quite sure was allowed but apparently it was.
She knew she had never let you go off to Madrid for a girl’s trip with some of the girls you dance with.
Look what had happened.
You’re bringing home one of Alexia’s worst enemies.
It leaves a bitter taste in her mouth as she peaks out of the front windows to see a fancy car pull up. It’s certainly not yours but you’re the one sliding out of the passenger seat.
Alexia breathes out along sigh as she  pulls herself away, desperate to not let you see her lurking.
“Jaume!” She yells up the stairs,” You sister and her girlfriend is here!”
No answer.
“Jaume!” Alexia yells again,” Stop hiding in your room!”
She waits for a second and then Jaume’s desk chair scrapes against his floor and Alexia can move away from the stairs.
“Olg-“
“I’m already here,” Olga says, breezing into the room with a smile on her face,” Ale, you look like you’re about to pop a vessel.” Her finger smooths down the wrinkle in Alexia’s brow. “Calm down. Nothing bad is going to happen.”
“Our daughter is bringing home an enemy. I’m allowed to be angry.”
“You’re not angry,” Olga says, a soft smile on her face as Alexia glances back at the door,” You’re nervous. You just want y/n to be happy and you’ve not met this girl yet.”
“I just don’t get why she didn’t just stick with the English girl!”
“I thought you didn’t approve of Aggie?”
“I didn’t! I don’t! I don’t know.” Alexia huffs, glancing away. “I just want her to be happy.”
“And I’m sure she’s very happy with Olaya. Now, put a smile on your face and pretend you aren’t nervous.”
“I’m not nervous!”
The doorknocker goes and Alexia jolts in shock.
“Aren’t you going to get it?” Jaume asks from the top of the stairs and Alexia scoffs.
“I don’t want them to know that I’ve been waiting on them.”
“You’re so weird.”
Alexia ignores her son, waiting a few more seconds before opening the door, plastering an incredibly fake smile on her face when she looks at your girlfriend.
To her credit, Olaya Rodrigeuz doesn’t cower much outside of the usual ‘oh my god, Alexia Putellas is looking at me!’.
“Mami,” You say warmly and Alexia’s fake smile morphs into a real one.
“My bambi,” She coos, hands coming up to hold your face,” I missed you.”
“You saw me last weak.”
“That doesn’t mean I can’t miss-“
Alexia freezes as something cold and wet brushes up against her hand and she shrieks.
“Oh, sorry,” You laugh,” This is Flower.”
“That’s a bear.”
“He’s a puppy.”
“Shit, y/n,” Jaume says, forcing his way through the door,” Where did you get a bear?!”
“A puppy.”
“Puppy, bear, same thing,” Jaume says dismissively,” Where’d you get him?”
“I bought him,” Olaya replies as the three of you squeeze into the entrance hall,” Y/n was talking about getting a dog and I saw an ad so I just bought him without thinking.”
It’s probably overreacting on Alexia’s part but she can’t help but notice all the little things as Olaya talks about buying you your dog (who apparently you’ve named Flower). Alexia’s eyes narrow as Olaya’s hand splays out against your hip, the way that she pulls you a little closer and they way you automatically tilt your neck towards her as she presses a soft kiss to just under your jaw.
Your girlfriend is a lot older than you. It’s obvious to everyone but causes the most worry in Alexia.
It was never a secret that you preferred older women. For whatever reason, girls your age never really interested you.
But it always made Alexia wary, especially when said older woman spent money on things like a puppy and held you so close like you were some piece of arm candy.
But that might have just been Alexia’s own interpretation of it.
“Food?” Olga offers up from behind and you stand, clicking your tongue.
“I’ll help. Come on, Flower.”
Your puppy pads obediently over to you and Jaume trails behind, trying to be as close as possible to the bear-like puppy with the flowers on his collar.
Alexia holds her hand out.
Olaya takes it.
Alexia squeezes, her face a mask of indifference.
“So,” Alexia says,” You’re dating my daughter.”
“Yes.”
“And you bought her a puppy.”
“She wouldn’t have done it for herself. She really wanted one but she was nervous to take the last step.”
“So you just bought her a puppy.”
“Yes.”
Alexia stares, long and hard until Olaya visibly slumps, shoulders closing in on herself.
“And the puppy is hers, right? Like if you break up, she gets to keep him?”
Olaya nods. “Yes.”
“Good because she really looks like she loves that dog and I don’t want him taken from her.”
“I only want the best for her,” Olaya says, seemingly uncowed now.
Alexia allows the silence to grow stale for a moment before she finally drops Olaya’s hand.
It isn’t approval. Not yet. But it’s a truce. It’s a ‘I’m not going to throw you out of my house just yet’.
“Now,” Alexia says, leading your girlfriend into the kitchen,” Why don’t you introduce me to my new grandson?”

Me with Gabi. Holy fuck I will be a Gabi defender until I die and then probably after. People hate her just because she killed Sasha. And yeah, you can hate her for that, sure. But at least UNDERSTAND why.
Imagine you’re a twelve year old. You’re going to a speech with your friends. The stage suddenly EXPLODES and a giant appears. Rocks fly EVERYWHERE, and people are crushed by rocks. One of which was your friend. Your other; trampled trying to help. You don’t know what’s going on, and you’re terrified. You’ve been trained for battle, but this was unexpected. Everyone, and I mean everyone is terrified.
Your town, your home, bombarded by outsider attackers. You don’t know what’s safe anymore. You’re just a kid, defenseless. No titan ability to speak of, to help defend anyone.
Even so, you’re ready to fight. You run. Finding two guards you know, and begging to fight. But before you can get a proper word in, stuff starts exploding. Before your eyes, they’re shot down.
Her. She looks cold, careless. How could that woman do such a thing? She took them away from you. They all took them away. Those island devils, they’ve ruined everything.
You’d want revenge too, right?
Tumblr media
I’m not saying you have to forgive her. However, blindly hating her is ridiculous. She was a kid, and acting on instinct. The Survey Corps, however; planned this. They knew what they were doing. Nobody is innocent in war, but let’s not put all the blame on the child.
If anyone is to blame, it’s the adults in this situation. Starting reckless wars and endangering others.
just my thoughts!

“Let’s get something straight, ladies.”
Your eyes turn towards who is speaking. The woman is tall, her skin almond and seemingly shining beneath the golden lights of the mansion. Her hair is neatly slicked into a bun, not an out of place hair in sight. Her eyes are dark as they roam around the room at each one of the contestants. She raises a manicured hand, crimson nails going around to point at each of you - six women in total.
“This is a competition.” the woman says, lowering her hand. “You all are not friends.”
You don’t respond, opting to listen instead as the other women chatter amongst themselves. One thing for certain, you didn’t have to be told at all.
“For the past week, you along with hundreds of other women had fought diligently to be where you are standing now. This is your final challenge. Look to your left and your right, as you are now competing against your direct rivals.”
You glance around, the mansion surely was luxurious. It has the highest ceilings you’ve ever seen; not as if you’ve seen many. It’s bright with shining lights, a sparkling chandelier high on the ceiling that caught your attention upon having entered. The floors are marble and appear so clean that you could even see your reflection on it.
“You each have rooms located up the staircase.” the woman waves her hand to the large staircase, its carpets are dark and looks as if it wouldn’t squeak beneath your feet like the stairs you’ve grown accustomed to. “Your names are located on the door. Here, you will change into what you see is fitting for today's challenges.”
The woman begins to stroll up the stairs, her heels not being a problem in the slightest as you six begin to follow her.
The railings are a mahogany color and as you walk further up, you notice the walls are painted with a mural of a landscape. It appears to be a forest going through different stages of seasons, winter being the first and spanning all the way through spring, summer and fall. Your eyes marvel at the sight - how detailed the mural was and how long it must’ve taken to complete.
“I can’t believe we’re in such an amazing house.”
Your attention is caught when one girl speaks. You’re now at the top of the stairs and make your way towards the bedroom, your eyes skinning over the names until you see where yours is. The door is tall and has the same mahogany color as the stair railings. There’s carnings on the wooden door displaying an array of flowers. The handle is cold and shiny and it clicks as you open it.
The room is large - the largest room you’ve even encountered, even larger than your living room in your apartment.
As you enter, the lights turn on automatically, the same high ceilings as the rest of the mansion with a diamond chandelier right in the middle of the room, as well. Below it, a large queen sized bed that’s elevated sits, an array of pillows displayed neatly on it.
The floors are the same marble as before, only this time there’s a white, fluffy rug by the bed.
You release a sigh, kicking off your shoes to then go towards the bed. You plop down onto it and it slightly bounces back. You have never been on a bed that was this comfortable before and it’s as if it embraces you entirely, your eyes already becoming heavy.
There’s a loud ringing nose that catches you by surprise and you spring up from the bed. Your heart is pounding and your head whips around to find where the ringing is coming from - it’s loud, almost as if it’s a speaker, but you cannot find from where.
“Welcome,”
The voice speaks and you’re now positive that it is a speaker - maybe on the walls or ceilings.
Your eyes cannot find anything.
“Anjali, Chan-Mi, Y/N,” your ears perk when the speaker - a man - says your name. “Zarish, Luisa, Siohban.”
You suppose these are the girls you will be competing against. You swallow the lump in your throat as the speaker continues to speak.
“I suppose you all know what you six are getting into being a part of this?”
“A dating show…?” your sister murmurs, her eyes cautiously watching you. “...out of everything? A dating show?”
“I’m not expecting anyone to understand.” you suppress a laugh. You tap your fingers against your thigh as you sit besides her on the small couch in your living area.
“You’re trying to find love in this economy?”
“Realistically? No.” you shrug your shoulders. You and she were watching something she had put on Youtube when you had decided to tell her your plans.  “But I read the terms and condition and the contract so-”
“You’re serious? About going on a dating show?”
Your sister doesn’t look amused in the slightest and honestly, you didn’t blame her. You and she would laugh at how ridiculous the girls looked pinning after one man and often fighting for his heart just for him to not choose any of them - and now you were going to be doing the same.
“For love? No. I don’t even expect to be chosen.” you admit, turning towards her to give her a soft smile. “But, we do get paid for being on there. Exposure, too. It’s a start and whatever money we need I will surely take.”
Your sister sighs, nodding slightly. “How long will you be gone?”
“A week max. It’s live, apparently.”
You were older than your sister by nearly five years, having taken her in a year after you left home yourself. While your sister remained in High School, you had to be the one to work for everything you and she both needed - two jobs weren’t ideal for you, but you made it work.
As time went on, bills increased, as did rent and the overall cost of living. Your sister needed necessities and as did you and your two job income wasn’t enough.
“How did you find out about this?”
“Job interview.” you snort, as if two jobs weren’t enough, you were thinking about picking up a third - just for a few hours you had free on your off days. “Said I…would fit the part. Whatever that means.”
“Would I be able to watch it live? What type of dating show is only a week?” your sister is asking all of the correct questions that you should - but you are only there for the money; you are sure everyone else is, as well.
“I’m not even sure where it would be streaming. I’ll have to ask. I’m sure it’s very…variety show like? Maybe even a game show?” you shrug your shoulders, pondering if there would be an elimination every day of the week; how anyone would find love that way is beyond you. “Us competing for a man possibly none of us are attracted to.” you joke. “Having us do odd challenges to win his heart.”
“I bet he’s ugly and old.” you sister cringes. “What if you have to kiss him?”
You cackle, head leaning back to laugh. “For a few thousands, it’s what I have to do. Life isn’t cheap.” In the back of your head, you understand that this isn’t ideal - that your sister was right and this could be an older guy who’s not the most attractive looking man; as no one knows what he looks like. But if this is what you had to do then so be it.
You were taking a week off of work for this - luckily, paid time off has come through for both jobs. “Even if I’m not the winner, honestly, let’s hope for that. I’ll be back.” you promise her.
Your sister nods her head slightly, tilting her head to the side to look at you.
You understood what you were getting into and doing this for - and you are positive your motive is similar to the other five women. None of which know who the man is, his beliefs, likes or dislikes - anything. You were all completely in it for the money; the promise of a lavish lifestyle.
In the beginning, you told yourself that you didn’t need to win, you think, you just had to be here long enough to get any form of prize.
However, now, you’re certain that this was now or never. You came this far and even managed to be picked by the man himself along with the other five women; all rivals of yours.
“That being said, the competition starts immediately. I’m looking for a wife and I don’t have much time to find her.”
You want to scoff at how desperate the man sounds. You try to put a face to the voice, but are unable to. He sounds young, no older than 30, but with the way technology is now, you can never be certain.
“The game starts now, you all.” the voice says. “If I cannot find a wife in you five, then that means I’ll have to do this all over again - and I’ll rather not.”
There’s a shiver that runs down your spine at his words and you’re unsure as to why. You take a deep breath.
“I need a wife that knows how to cook exactly what I want.” Your feet begin to move with impatience. “This mansion holds several kitchens. In about an hour, I expect you all to be downstairs and in your designated kitchen doing just that. I’m not a picky man,” there’s heartfelt laughter from him. “and I cannot wait to try what you all cook for me.”
The room is quiet again, indicating that the man was done speaking.
You swallow. You had an hour to get ready and to you, that was more than enough. You worked with as little as five minutes before, an hour was nothing to you.
You start by going to the closet - a large walk in one - that holds clothing that you were told would be in there. You would be cooking, so there isn’t a point to overdress, however, you understood that you can’t look as if you’re at home. Your usual oversized t-shirt and sweats wouldn’t be acceptable.
You also weren’t going to force yourself into a tight dress to appeal to the eye of the man you’re supposed to be cooking for. It didn't make sense.
The next 30 minutes consisted of you showering and getting ready yourself. You weren’t positive if this was when the man would make his appearance to you all, and you had to be prepared in case he had.
You stood out amongst the other five women who were all dressed to impress and you would only be a hater to say that they didn’t look nice. Even better than you.
You swallow, casting your eyes ahead of you to look at the women from early; the host.
“An hour to prepare a meal.” the woman states, her hands behind her back as she strolls towards you six. “In your designated kitchen, there would be food already laid out for you. What you do with it is all up to you. Follow me.”
The woman begins to stroll out of the large foyer and down into a hallway where each of you follow her. The mansion is huge indeed, having separate kitchens for each girl to go into. Yours was the third, and immediately you found yourself going to work.
The kitchen is huge - of course - and has a chandelier right above you hanging from a tall ceiling. The floors are hardwood and pristine and don't creek beneath your feet. On the kitchen island located in the middle of the large kitchen, lay an apron that you proceed to tie around your body.
You cooked for you and your sister whenever you had the chance to. It was enjoyable at times as you loved cooking for her. Cooking now, however, was a necessity to win. You needed to be the best, and if not, you needed to be damn close to it.
An hour flew past as though it was only five minutes. Your hair, once laid perfectly into a tidy bun, was sweated out a bit. You huffed at your reflection into the knife you were holding upon seeing yourself.
“Time’s up. Bring your plates of food back to the foyer.” says a voice over the speakers, this time not the man, but the host.
You drop your knife into the sink and turn towards the island where your plate of food sat. You were given steak and did what you thought you could with it, stewing it along with vegetables. You cooked a simple white rice atop of lettuce - you’ve done what you thought you could with what little you had.
“Ladies.” the host says, nodding to you all. “Place your plates right here onto the table.” she says, motioning to the large, glass table behind her. There’s cards that sit about six inches from one another that have each of your names labeled onto them.
“Now, Kim Seokjin-ssi will test them all.” she proceeds to say as each of you gather back into a line.
Kim Seokjin.
Your eyes begin to widen as a man, tall and slender, begins to strut from up the staircase to where you all stood. Your eyes are fixed onto him - as are the other women. Your mouth parts a bit as he bows before all of you, a mop of dark hair bouncing.
“Hello to you all.” the man says, a familiar voice dancing through your ears. The same exact voice of earlier.
Kim Seokjin was not an older man, no. He was young; and maybe you should’ve guessed by his voice. However, he didn’t look a day over 25. His skin was clear of any blemishes and porcelain similar to a doll. His eyes are beady as he looks between the six of you. His lips, plump and pink, form a low smile.
Jin is sporting a solid, black dress shirt that he proceeds to cuff toward his elbows. His dress pants are baggy and brown, however not a wrinkle in sight. You ponder just how much his outfit is, as you were told that wealth such as him doesn’t talk, but whispers.
“Now, let’s see.” Jin says, clapping his hands as he turns away.
Jin eyes the array of food on the table, humming to himself softly.
It takes 10 minutes for Jin to try it all. Ten long minutes of you all waiting in silence as he eats, nodding his head a few times and then whispering to the host, who would either snicker or respond.
“Siobhan.” Jin speaks, his back not turning to face either of you. The host does, stepping away from Jin. “Come closer, please.”
Siobhan does, her long locks bouncing onto her shoulders as she comes face to face with Jin. He’s a beauty of a man and instantly, your heart jolts. Jealousy, sure, yet you weren’t here for true love. This wasn’t the bachelor. You were here for money and that only.
“Chan-Mi…Luisa…you two, as well.”
Your blood runs cold, your palms beginning to sweat. You’re unsure what Jin is doing - if you’re about to be eliminated or not. Your eyes glance at the other two women left, Zarish and Anjali. You suck in a breath, turning your eyes back to Jin. It would be humiliating to be sent home so early.
“Your food is…”
You swallow as the man slowly turns, his arms now behind his back. The smile on his lips he sported 10 minutes prior had disappeared.
“Lackluster.” Jin murmurs, and instantly his right arm jerks, a dagger held tight into the palm of his hand. He slices Siohban’s throat as quickly as yall all seen it, the woman gasping and clenching onto her neck.
There’s shrieks that erupt around the room as Siohban falls to her knees in a pool of her own blood. Your eyes widen, a hand going to clasp onto your own mouth and the sudden sight before you.
Without much warning, the knife is japped right into Chan-Mi’s stomach, her scream haunting you. You’re frightened where you stand, your eyes wide.
Luisa is next, but she knows what to expect. She turns to run away, but trips with how terrified she is. She falls onto the ground before she has the chance to go anywhere and Jin lets a hand grab her long, wavy hair. He yanks it back, the dagger slicing right against her throat. Blood squirts out of it, splashing a few feet away from yours. You feel your stomach churn, the sudden need to vomit.
“Do calm down.” Jin says, throwing the knife onto the ground by Siobhan, who’s body appears lifeless. “This is a competition. I know you all aren’t here for love.” Jin scoffs with a roll of his eyes. “You’re here for money. I have a lot of it. However…” Jin looks between the remaining three of you.
You were the calmest, however, maybe you were just hiding it. There’s great fear in your eyes that has you startled into silence, only a single tear falling from your eyes. Zarish had fallen to her knees, pushed the farthest away from you and Anjali, who was trembling at the sight.
“...you’re going to have to show me what you’re willing to do for it.”
Tumblr media
“I know you three need some time.”
You had proceeded to vomit into the toilet as soon as you entered your bedroom. You thanked the shared bathroom, as you’re unsure how much longer you could last. The heinous sight of murder flashed before your eyes, no matter how hard you attempted to squeeze them shut.
Your heart pumps with fear. Just an hour ago you stood before three dead bodies - this was real. This wasn’t a dream, nor a prank. The screams of fear coming from you all were real.
Jin had gone on for the next 10 minutes explaining the rules - rules you thought were already given to you. Of course they weren’t. You had gotten yourself into this mess, biting more than you could even chew. There was no “out” of this. Once witnessing bloody murder, Jin had told you three the truth. That there were only two ways out of this twisted game of his. You either had to win and become his wife, or lose and be dead.
There was no leaving alive unless you were the sole winner.
This was a life or death situation now; you were truly fighting for your life.
“But I am in need of a wife as you know. You’ll need to do more than just cook.”
Jin’s voice is taunting you through the speakers. He speaks coolly, as if he hadn’t killed anyone. You ponder just how long he’s done this - and if there is any way out of this at all. Or was this just a sick game where he would eventually kill all of you and repeat the game again.
You proceed to flush the toilet, falling besides it as Jin continues to speak.
“I need a wife that knows how to clean, as well. In an hour, meet in the foyer and await your next challenge.”
You squeeze your eyes shut, body trembling on the cold tile floor. You aren’t sure if you could do this anymore. You’re terrified that you’d be the next to go; it was only three left and it hasn’t even been a day.
Jin’s impatient and he doesn’t wish to wait any longer than he needs. He wants someone now; tonight preferably.
Your eyes snap open, staring straight ahead.
You couldn't afford to die. You weren’t here for just yourself. You had a sister you needed to take care of.
You took a shower in case it happens to be your last, at least you would know a bit or peace. You are the first to be in the foyer, followed by Zarish. She doesn’t look at you when she arrives, and you cannot blame her. Neither of you wish to be here. The atmosphere has changed from one of lighthearted competition to dreadful act of survival.
Anjali is the last to arrive and the girl's brown eyes are red and puffy from her crying. She’s trembling when she arrives and even though you sympathize with her, you cannot bring yourself to care far too much into it. You had to care about the life of your sister and that was the will you needed to survive this.
“Ladies,” the host claps as she struts into the foyer. “follow me.”
The host makes no attempts in waiting for you all, nor does she stop to acknowledge you three. She takes you down a long hallway until you three stopped behind three separate doors. She proceeds to turn back towards you. Her eyes trail between your faces before she stops at Anjali and scoffs.
“You won’t survive if you keep trembling like that.” she says snarkily. “Behind these doors is your next challenge. As you know…” she stops dramatically to look between you once more. “...Kim Seokjin isn’t just any man. His line of work is different from normal men. That being said.”
The doors are automatic and they open before the host could finish her sentence.
The sight behind the doors is traumatic. You instantly gag, clenching a hand to your mouth.
Behind your door lies the dead body of Chan-Mi. The room is covered in blood. It’s a single room, all white. White walls and tiled floors that’s stained crimson.
“Jin would like you three to clean the room and get rid of the body.”
Anjali instantly shrieks, her back hitting the wall behind you all. She shakes her head, her hands tugging her hair.
“Please, I-I-”
“You have an hour.” the host interrupts. “Do whatever you think you need to do.”
Inside the room, there’s a timer high onto the wall and close to the ceiling. It ticks down exactly one hour - a short time to clean a murder scene.
Your mind tries to think back to the true crime shoes you’d watch with your sister on how you could possibly get rid of a body; you never thought you would be in this situation.
You spring into action, making your way down the hall.
“W-Where are you going?” Anjali calls for you, not moving from the wall.
You don’t answer. You were told to do anything necessary to clean this mess up. For the first time you notice it - the cameras. It’s high and it follows you as you walk. You ponder just how many people are watching you here being forced to commit these criminal acts, now fully engrossed in it.
You open doors until you find one with cleaning supplies. You take a deep breath, grabbing whatever your arms could hold.
You work on autopilot, your mind completely blank as you work. You wrapped Chan-Mi’s body in one too many trash bags, refusing to look into her face. Her eyes were open but lifeless like the rest of her.
Dragging a body was harder than the movies made it, placing it right outside of the room and making your way back inside to clean it. You scrub onto your hands and knees, mind remaining blank as you focus on removing the crimson from your sight. 45 minutes, 30 minutes, 20 minutes.
Your heart is pumping outside your chest and your breath heaves as you drag the body down the hallway to the front door. You hadn't had any time to explore the mansion and today wasn’t going to be the day. You had 15 minutes until the challenge was done and you were told to get rid of the body by any means necessary.
The mansion is quiet and you’re positive Jin, the host and who knows how many other people are watching you now. You open the main doors of the mansion, poking your head out. It’s evening now, the sky has different shades of purple hues.
You drag Chan-Mi outside, down the stone stairs and towards the side of the house. You’re unsure how long you walked with the body until your legs gave out and you collapsed.
You breathe heavily, your mind regaining and you scream out. It echoes off of the trees, the eerily silence of the mansion adding more terror to your situation.
Focus - you tell yourself.
Remember what you’re doing this for.
Your knees tremble as you stand, fixing your hair. A few strands had fallen from your bun as you were cleaning vigorously. Your eyes scan the area, pondering where you were going to put this body.
Your eyes drag towards a pond and even if your moral compass was eating at you, you understand that this was life or death - for you and your sister.
“A better life…” you murmur to yourself, reaching the pond. “...for me. For us.”
You threw Chan-Mi’s body into the pond. It splashes loudly and all you can think is you hope you’re far enough for anyone to notice far too quickly. It isn’t a lake with running water, so the body would move anywhere. However, the the pond is surrounded by rocks and if far enough, the untrained eye would never notice-
“Are you okay?”
Your body stiffens at the words coming from behind you.
Slowly, you turn, eyes catching onto a man a few feet away. He’s strolling towards you. He’s tall and his cheeks are dimpled.
“I-I…” you’re unable to speak. You immediately get up from your knees and begin to walk towards the man. “...I was just going for a walk.” you speak, swallowing the lump in your throat. “I ended up falling and…made a mess of myself.”
The man reaches you and looks at your appearance. He nods his head with a chuckle. “I can see that. I have never seen you around here.”
“You live around here?” you ask. Where did this man come from and just how did he know you were here? Your palms were already sweaty and you didn’t have time to stay and chat. You had about five minutes until you had to be back at the mansion.
“I do. I hike in the woods all the time.” the man nods his head. “I’m Namjoon.” he raises a hand for you to grab.
You do hesitantly, nodding your head. “Y/N.” you murmur. “I have to get back. It’s nice to meet you, Namjoon.” you say. “Enjoy your hike. I hope you aren’t as clumsy as me.” you attempt to joke, making your way around the man before he can say anything else.
You enter the home quickly, slamming the door behind you. Jin is behind it, almost as if he’s waiting for you.
You stop in your tracks, unable to form words.
“You’re right on time.” Jin says. “The first to arrive.”
You’re exhausted, falling to your knees. You hang your head in defeat.
“I’ve watched you, Y/N.”
Your ears perk at Jin’s words. You hear footsteps coming closer to you.
“We all have.”
“What…how many people?”
“Thousands.” Jin chuckles. “Don’t worry. It’s only the dark web.”
Your blood runs cold once more. You don’t want to ask anymore questions, far too afraid to know anymore.
“You’re becoming a favorite, Y/N.” Jin kneels down to face you. He pats your head as if you’re a puppy, encouraging you to look at him. “The way you got rid of the body and managed to get away from Joon.”
“Joon…” you murmur, the dimpled-cheeked man flashing through your mind. “...you know Namjoon….?”
Of course Jin did. There wasn’t any home for miles. How else would you be caught in such a situation ? Maybe that was a part of their plan, to try and get you to confess what was truly going on in hopes that you would look for a way out.
You clench your eyes shut and release a shaky sob.
“You won this round, Y/N. Come,” Jin offers out his hand for you to take. “Let's get you ready for the final round. I hope you didn’t like Anjali as much.” Jin begins to laugh heartily. “You won’t be seeing her for the final challenge.”
Tumblr media
You weren’t told by Jin how long you had until the final round. You were in the shower once more, this time sitting on the shower floor and allowing the water to run down your body. Your eyes are closed, and as much as you tried, you cannot get your mind to go blank.
It was a lot for one person to handle in just one single day.
You wished you understood more about Jin and the dark web. You’ve heard about the dark web before and the last thing you ever desired was to be a part of it. It brought chills up your spine to just think about how many eyes are on you and what those eyes are involved in themselves.
You finally got out of the shower once the water began to run cold. You wrap a towel around you, your wet feet strolling towards the large, round mirror inside of the bathroom. Your eyes watch yourself, however not truly seeing yourself. It’s as though you’re witnessing a shell of yourself.
You take a deep breath, squeezing your eyes shut for a moment. You want to laugh bitterly at the unfortunate circumstances that you are dealt with  - and just how much of a terrible person you were becoming because of them. Was this real life or a nefarious dream you fell into due to slumber?
There’s a knock that sounds at your bathroom door that causes you to flinch, startled.
You take a few moments to answer, instead choosing to listen quietly, unsure who would be behind the door at such a vulnerable moment you were in now.
“It’s me.”
Jin.
You feel goosebumps liter your arms at his voice. Still, your mind cannot embrace the fact that Kim Seokjin, someone so beautiful as him, is a part of this. Involved with not just this twisted game of survival, but the dark web, as well; which is an iceberg itself.
Your hand wraps around the cold doorknob and you slowly twist it open, cracking it open so you can peek out at the man. He offers a curt grin, his head slightly tilting.
“It’s dawning on you, isn’t it?” Jin questions vaguely. “That this is real life and not some sort of nightmare?”
Your heart jolts and you swallow your words. It’s as if he took the thoughts right out of your mind.
“It’s far too late in wanting to drop out of the competition.” Jin murmurs. “I’m sure you know why.”
You wouldn’t be able to leave here alive - you’re well aware.
Slowly, you nod your head, slightly opening the door a little wider.
“I came to see how you were doing.” Jin takes a few steps back and it’s then you realize that he changed from his attire earlier, to a black suit. “This…can weigh heavy on people such as you.”
“What do you mean people such as me?” you question low. You proceed to open the door fully, your towel tightly around your frame.
Jin begins to stroll away from you and proceeds to take a seat onto your bed. A shame you haven’t truly had the time to lay in it, but he doesn’t wish to extend the games. For months, he had women come in and out - all failing. He wants this game to end tonight, and there’s only two opponents left. He surely hopes either you or Zarish would be the one to end his suffering in having to do this - and he can go home with a wife.
“It’s obvious you aren’t…part of this lifestyle.” Jin looks up at you now, brown eyes giving your undivided attention. “You and Zarish aren’t doing this for love, either.”
“Are you?” you’re bold enough to ask, your right hand holding the top of your towel tightly. “You do this…often?”
Jin snickers. “Unfortunately,” he nods. “no one has won as of yet. This is why it appears the challenges are a bit fast paced.”
You sit in the doorway of the bathroom awkwardly as you await for him to continue speaking.
“Why are you doing this?” Jin questions. “What made you want to come here?”
“I didn’t think I would have to hide a body.” you say truthfully, a bit of sadness in your voice. “I didn’t think I would be fighting for survival, either.”
“I do apologize.” Jin says, yet you don’t hear any sincerity in his words. “It wasn’t my idea of presenting the game as a bachelor type.”
You nod your head. Of course there were others involved, deeper than just Jin and Namjoon.
“What are you fighting for, Y/N?” Jin proceeds to dig deeper. “What do you have to live for?”
Jin’s eyes are intense as he awaits an answer from you. It causes you to look away, goosebumps growing even harder onto your skin. You nearly forgot that you were naked beneath this towel and semi-wet.
“I have a sister.” you say truthfully. There isn’t a point of lying now. This could also be a test to see if you were going to be truthful or not. If Jin had ties to the dark web, who knows what else he’s apart. “And I needed money…”
“I see.” Jin hums. “Everyone has their reasonings.”
“Can I ask yours?”
Jin is intrigued. Zarish wasn’t much of a speaker, yet he couldn’t blame her. Her demeanor is colder than it once was when she arrived, yet he couldn’t bring himself to care. There were two contestants and a final round.
“You…there has to be a reason why you’re doing all of this, right?” you lean against the door frame. “You can’t have a hard time finding a wife.”
Jin’s lips twitch upward.
“Observant.” Jin nods. “I can get a wife anywhere. But…” Jin spreads his legs a bit. “Where’s the fun in that?”
There’s a sinister way in which Seokjin laughs.
“Sure, you didn’t come here for love. That doesn’t mean that you and I couldn’t grow to love one another, right?”
The question strikes you as odd, seeing as this was still a competition.
“If you win, of course.” Jin adds, as if reading your thoughts yet again. “You’re already a fan favorite, but that doesn’t mean anything.”
You exhale.
“Do you want it?”
Your attention is brought back to Jin.
“Do you want a better life?” Jin continues. “Do you want it enough to fight for it? There's only one more round left, Y/N.” Jin prods on, his eyes roaming your face for any emotion. “Show me you want to survive, Y/N.”
You find yourself in front of Jin now, who awaits for you to do something. Anything.
You wanted nothing more than to survive this - not for just your sake, but for your sister. Her life depended on yours, and maybe that was all the will you needed to survive this.
“I do want this.” you murmur, unsure of what you’re now doing kneeling before him as he sits onto your bed. Your right cheek sit lightly against his knee.
“I know.” Jin answers. “I can see it in your eyes. It’s easier to do the things you do if you tell yourself it’s for someone else.”
Maybe being an accomplice to a murder was easier if you told yourself you were doing this for your sister.
You hum.
“Get dressed.” Jin says, a soft hand laying on your left cheek. “The final round will be starting soon. Make yourself presentable.”
You remove your cheek from his knee just as Jin stands to his feet. He looks down upon your vulnerable figure but doesn’t say another word as he saunters out of the room. You watch his figure leave sullenly, a coldness running through you as you felt alone, but knew that you weren’t truly.
Tumblr media
“This is crazy, don’t you think?” you murmur to Zarish. “That only one of us can survive this?”
Zarish offers a glance, the soft music playing in the background of the large ballroom. All surrounded by people who are associated with Kim Seokjin himself.
“We…can both survive this.” you say to her, taking a sip of your glass of champagne. You offer a few smiles to guests. “We can both escape before anyone notices us.”
After Jin had left your room, you continued to sit onto the ground by the large bed for what felt like hours until you finally got to your feet to get ready for the next challenge. You weren’t sure what presentable was, but you only had what was in the large closet to choose from. All dresses ranging from long to short.
You grabbed a short dress, stopping at your knees. You opted for this incase you were getting into something that involved you moving a body again - or running for your life. You only had heels to choose from, but you chose a pair that would be easy to get out of if needed be.
You decided to fix your hair to the same bun as before, this time neater and allow a few strands of hair to be released, twirling your finger around it a few times to allow it to curl.
There’s another knock that sounds, this time on your bedroom door. You stand a bit straighter before strolling to the door and opening it.
“It’s time.” the host says, dressed differently. A wine colored floor dress that hugs her curves. On the right side is a slit that rides all the way up to her mid thigh. “You have five minutes to meet everyone downstairs in the main hall.”
“E-Everyone?” you speak up, eyebrows knitting.
“Yes.” the host nods. “The final round is to impress not only Kim Seokjin, but those who associates with. You’re attempting to be a wife, correct?”
You nod, a bit dumbfounded.
“Okay then. Here is your moment.” the host turns to walk away. “Don’t let these people see you be frightened. They’ll eat you up and spit you out if so.”
The host’s footsteps get quieter as she descends down the carpeted hallway. You take a deep breath as you replay her advice - or warning - in your head. You take another deep breath before following her down the hallway.
You can hear faint music along with chattering voices. You suppose this was the final challenge, and maybe the most nerve wracking one of it all. You barely knew Seokjin, so being surrounded by people such as him was just as terrifying.
You decide to follow the music down to the far right of the foyer and down a dim-lit hallway until you reach the large ballroom. It’s surrounded with people - all wearing masquerade-like masks. You felt anxious being surrounded by them, unsure how to truly handle it all.
The ballroom is designed just as elegant and expensive as the rest of the mansion. Its lights are lit dim just as the hallway, but the candles add a bit more flickering light to it all; a sinister type of feeling, however. There’s round tables with white tables clothed all throughout the ballroom, with four chairs each. Only a few people were seated as they chatted amongst each other, while the rest were standing.
There’s flowers, all white, on each table. As well as hanging from the ceiling besides large chandeliers that aren’t shining to their full potential.
“Y/N.”
Your head turns to the sound of your name. A masked figure stands tall besides you, his face fully covered by the gold mask. The candles surrounding the room dance off of his mask.
“I-I…”
The man raises a hand to his mask and lifts it, and instantly you recognize the man just by half of his face, dimples poking out. It’s Namjoon, and he speaks when he takes the mask off fully.
“It’s nice to see you again.”
“You, as well.” you say shyly, glancing around the room. “You…are a part of this?”
Namjoon chuckles with a quick shoulder shrug. “Sure,” he responds. “You managed to be quite a fan favorite.” he says to change the subject.
You scoff to yourself. “Of the dark web?” you question. “I’m not sure how to handle that.”
“No one ever truly does.” Namjoon answers. “You have my vote.”
“Vote?” you ask, just as Namjoon puts his mask back over his face. “All of these people have to vote…?”
Namjoon nods, but doesn’t say anything.
“Thank you.” you murmur.
Namjoon’s vote is just one of hundreds.
“Follow me.” you tell Zarish, your eyes roaming around the large room to find no one you recognized. You find that those with gold masks were the ones who held higher importance. “Let’s get out of here while everyone is distracted.”
You grabbed Zarish’s hand in your own and tugged her along. You managed to get out of the large ballroom and into the quiet hallway. Your heels click along the marble floor, as does hers.
“Where are we going?” Zarish  sputtered, her head turning back to the party for a moment before looking ahead at you.
The plan had hit you an hour in. You had met more people, all who spoke to you behind their respected masks. You were polite to them, even engaging in light conversations before you were onto the next; none of them being Jin. You suppose he was watching you from the shadows, awaiting for when the votes would be announced.
Zarish was a beautiful girl, tall with long black hair that she had tucked in a low ponytail. Her dress is floor length and lavender-colored.
You go past the foyer to down the other side of the hall. It’s familiar to you both, where you had gone just hours before to clean the dead bodies of former contestants.
You drop Zarish’s hands when you reach one of the large kitchens. You turn to her. “Grab a weapon.”
“A weapon?” Zarish whispers with wide eyes. “W-Why-”
“How long do you think it’ll be until they realize we’re both gone?” you say, your heels clanking against the tiled floors of the kitchen as you search the drawers for a knife.
Zarish doesn’t say anything, but she’s visibly nervous. She goes to the other side of the large kitchen to find a weapon.
Your reflections glare in one of the large cutting knives. You grasp your hand around the handle and lift it up.
“Why are you here?” you ask Zarish as she opens one drawer. “For money?”
Zarish nods her head, her hands clenching the sides of the drawer.
“My father is sick.” she responds, releasing a soft sop. “If I would’ve known I was coming to this…”
You sympathize with her. You take a few steps closer to her until you’re behind her, your free hand on the short of her back.
“My sister,” you speak, taking a deep breath. “I came for her. To give us both a better life.”
Zarish nods slowly.
“I don’t think any of us knew…” you don’t finish your sentence. Instead, you clench your eyes shut.
“I…I just want to get out of here.”
Zarish’s voice cracks when she speaks. She doesn’t want to cry, especially not now. She sniffles and turns around to face you. “Y/N, I-”
It takes all the will in you to jab the knife right into her stomach. It was nothing personal to her. You held no ill intent towards her, and if there was truly a way out of here, surely you and she would’ve managed.
Maybe in a perfect world there was. You and she ran off into the arms of safety - yet this was reality. There were cameras watching your every move.
Zarish doesn’t put up a fight. Possibly death was easier than fighting her way out of here. The saddened look in her eyes does reach yours, yet she doesn’t say anything in protest.
You remove the knife from her stomach, her hands going to the wound in an attempt to stop the bleeding.
“I’m going to help your father.” you murmur, driving the knife repeatedly back into her stomach several times. Each time is met with a gasp from the woman. “So in a way, you being here isn’t completely a loss.”
You’re completely covered in blood by the time you’re done, Zarish’s lifeless body on the pristine floors. Her blood soaks into your dress. You drop the knife and it clunks loudly on impact.
You make your way out of the kitchen and down the familiar hall towards the foyer and back to the ballroom. It’s as if no one has truly noticed you and Zarish are gone.
You stop at the doorway of the ballroom, the blood staining your hands. Your eyes search for Jin and you’re sure you found him. His mask is the only mask that stands out, a silver color. It appears as if he’s watching you from the eyeholes of the mask.
You walk towards him, your mind focusing on him and only him. The people appear to be quiet now as you walk past them, allowing you to stroll without a problem.
You stop just a few short feet away from Jin, panting heavily now.
“You told me,” you begin, your eyes never wavering. “that if i wanted to win…if I wanted a better life…” you swallow. “...I’d have to show you.”
Jin’s right hand reaches up towards the silver mask. Slowly, he lifts it from his face. His expression is an emotionless one, but it’s easier to speak with him now that you can see his eyes.
“What did you do?” Jin questions, though he’s positive he has an idea.
“I killed her.” you respond. “She…”
Your thoughts speak at you all at once. You tilt your head a bit.
“She was going to run away.” you mumble. “She…told me to go with her. I did.” you admit half of the truth, because did it truly matter now? “...then I killed her. There isn’t a way out of here, right?” you ask Jin. “We would have both been dead. I didn’t want to die. I wanted to win.”
Jin’s dark eyes watch you from where he stands. Slowly, your sanity was dripping away and in such a short amount of time.
Rosy plump lips grin towards you and that alone causes your heart to leap.
“Come,” Jin announces, his hand waving you over.
Widening your eyes, you do as you’re told. You round the large table and come besides Jin, behind him a few bodies you were not aware of, all dawning gold masks.
Jin goes into his pocket and grasps a small, square box. “Congratulations, Y/N.” Jin speaks, opening the box to reveal a ring inside of it. It’s quite different from a ring you’d expect as a wedding ring, yet this whole situation alone was. It has a gold band that surrounds itself with diamonds while an oval emerald diamond sits right in the middle of it, smaller silver diamonds outlining the oval shape.
“We have no time to waste.” Jin removes the ring from the box and holds it up. “Give me your hand.”
You watch in slight awe as Jin slides the ring onto your finger. It’s a surreal feeling in knowing that you won this twisted game he has forced you into. A game that lasted only a few hours, but felt like weeks on end.
There’s clapping that sounds throughout the ballroom and for a moment, you nearly forgot that it wasn’t just you and Jin in the room.
A man with a gold mask comes forward, papers in hand. It wasn’t Namjoon, you note, as the man wasn’t as tall.
“Come,” Jin wraps a hand around your waist. “let’s sign these documents.”
Jin doesn’t waste any time in handing you your own pen to sign a few documents that he doesn’t allow you to read. All of your signatures were right besides his, already pre-signed.
You aren’t nervous about signing your life away. Afterall, it isn’t everyday that you go through such trials and tribulations to assure you live long enough to see yourself be married.
That, and murder someone for the first time. Maybe tomorrow when your reality dawns on you would you actually break down. As of now, your mind remains blank and you’re working on autopilot.
There’s a hand that catches you out of your thoughts. It’s holding a clear champagne glass full of slightly bubbling liquid.
You grasp the glass from one of the men sporting a gold mask. He holds another one out for Jin who also takes it. Jin holds his glass up for you to clank against his in a toast.
“To Y/N and I,” Jin announces, his dark eyes reaching yours. “to death do us part.” he says, a more sinister meaning behind the words.
There’s more cheering as you lift the champagne to your lips and sip, as does Jin. His eyes never leave you. He finds that even if you’re possibly in shock now, the reality not fully sinking in yet and covered in blood, he finds you beautiful.
Maybe it’s also because in a short amount of time, you’ve managed to succumb to a bit of madness, realizing that if you wanted to survive all of this meant that you had to do what you possibly didn’t want to.
“A lot to handle in just one day?” Jin murmurs your way, leaning down a bit. There’s chattering throughout the entirety of the ballroom.
“Yeah.” you nod your head in agreement. “I…became a killer?” you’re unsure how else to put it.
Jin chuckles at your cuteness. “In a way,” he responds. “the best has yet to come.”
You aren’t sure exactly what he meant, but you were going to find out.
Your body warms in a matter of minutes and slowly, you begin to relax. You were already eerily calm as if you hadn’t murdered an innocent woman. Yet, you felt even calmer - was that possible?
It was as if your body was shooting serotonin boosts throughout you and you were becoming relaxed.
Happy even.
“You,”
Seokjin’s voice sounded so close to you as you down the rest of the champagne. Your throat was throbbing for more, thirst growing throughout you.
“are in for a long ride.” Seokjin finishes as he places a hand on the low of your back. Dangerously low that it shooks electricity right up your spine.
“Am I?” you question, turning a bit to look at him. His lips are curled slightly and beady eyes are already watching you.
“Indeed you are.” Seokjin murmurs. He takes a curt sip of his bubbling champagne before he presses the glass to your lips. You open your mouth to drink the remaining of it, your eyes unblinking from Seokjin’ - almost as if in a trance.
“There’s things people like us do.” Seokjin’s fingers tap along your back. “The elites.”
“Elites?”
Seokjin begins to stroll and he keeps you close to him. The room is crowded as it has been for a while, yet you remain close to Seokjin as if it was just the two of you. The room is loud with chattering voices that you cannot make out in any conversation, but even then you only hear Seokjin as he speaks.
“Powerful people like me.”
Jin steers you towards a tall door that opens upon arrival by another masked figure who waits right beside it. The masked man bows to Jin and you as the two of you stroll through the door and down the long, carpeted hallway.
“These…parties?” you question. You rock your head side to side a bit, your hand coming up to wipe your forehead of a light trail of sweat. “Is everyone here elites?”
Jin nods his head. “Everyone once in a while, we all come together.” he murmurs. For an odd reason, the carpeted hallway appears entirely too long. At the end of said hallway is a pair of double doors that match the ones you and he walked through. “It’s like a secret society.”
“Secret society…” you trail off. You blink a few times when you and Jin reach the end of the hallway, your mind thinking a million questions at once. “...what do you guys do…?”
You got your answer quicker than you realized. The door is opened by Jin and he pushes you in gently. Your eyes trail over the large room. The carpet is the same crimson red as the hallway, though this time there’s gold patterns. The tall walls appear to be stone and now you realize just how enclosed this room is.
Moans and squeals fill the room, naked bodies all over the place. You and Jin’s entrance goes unnoticed by the sea of people engaging in sexual activity. Right in the middle of the large room are a group of women engaging in oral sex, their manicured hands roaming one anothers naked bodies.
Jin notices the way you push yourself closer to him and his arm around you holds you a bit tighter. He leans down a bit to murmur to you.
“Sometimes we come together and have a little fun.” Jin responds.
Within the sea of naked bodies, there’s still a few - men - that are covered. You noticed the gold masks that are similar to the ones Jin and Namjoon wore. Fully clothed and lingering in the area.
In the corner of the room, there’s a group of people fucking. A few naked bystanders watch, one woman's head on another's shoulders as if they were watching their favorite show. Your eyes watch the way the man fucks the woman with such earnest and need.
As if they were the only two in the room.
“Takes a lot to get used to this world.” Jin’s voice sends shivers down your spine and it knocks you back into reality. “You are an elite now.”
You swallow, eyes slowly widening at the words before you shake your head a bit. You bite your lip as you continue to survey the area. Were all these people elites? Is this what the ultra wealthy did? Partake in sex parties?
It shouldn’t catch you by surprise. You recall Namjoon’s words from earlier on how he voted for you. This was another part of the world of the elite. A game. After watching you all engage in a sick game of survival, they come here and fuck one another brains out.
You take a deep breath. There wasn’t any turning back now. Your dress is still covered in Zarish’s blood, staining the expensive material. Your mind is swirling and your core is telling you that possibly you drank more than just champagne.
“You look tense, Y/N.” Jin rubs your back softly. “You should unwind.”
“Unwind…how?” you question low. You could guess how. The sea of people all surrounding you two, all engaging in different sexual positions. “Jin?”
“Hm?” Jin hums. His long fingers appear to tap along your back as he awaits for you to answer him.
“Zarish,” you begin, swallowing a bit. Your mind was swirling and you didn’t want to forget what you had promised her prior to what you’ve done. “I…I promised her…”
Jin blinks, perfect eyelashes fluttering. “That you’d help her sick father?”
You knit your brows.
“I know everything about all my contestants.” Jin continues with a curt nod of his head. “You remain so noble, Y/N. My wife.” Jin’s fingers dance up your spine until they stop at the nape of your neck. “Whatever you set out to do, I will allow it. For now, let’s enjoy ourselves.”
Your head turns just in time to catch the figure that struts towards you. The gold mask comes to your line of vision and all you can think of was Jin and Namjoon. You do not move, even when the masked man stops directly in front of you and offers a bit of a head tilt. You cannot see his eyes and the eye holes of the golden mask appear like an endless dark hole.
“Y/N this is-”
“Jimin.”
The masked man speaks, his voice muffled a bit behind the golden mask. His hand lifts up to remove the mask, an act that appears taboo in a place such as this, but possibly he does it as an act of familiarity.
The man that comes from behind the golden mask has the same level of beauty as Jin and Namjoon, a pair of dark eyes staring back at you and a low grin that shows ulterior motives.
Jimin…
The man’s pearly white smile captivates you for a second too long that when he holds his hand out for you to take, you’re standing a bit dumbfounded.
“It’s nice to get the chance to meet you, Y/N.” Jimin’s voice sounds like honey - sweet and sugary. “My name is Jimin. Park,” Jimin, once you place your hand in his surprisingly soft and calloused-free ones, lifts it to his mouth. They’re a bit glossy, you note. “Jimin.” he says after he pecks your hand.
Your head slowly turns to Jin who’s already watching. He doesn’t say anything about Jimin’s actions and instead takes a step back, as if to allow you to do as you pleased.
“It’s nice to meet you, too.” you murmur meekly. Your thighs pressed together firmly, the surrounding moans mixed with skin slapping was too much. How could they ignore the sex surrounding them?
They were elites, your mind tells you. They do this often.
“Enjoying yourself?”
Jimin allows your hand to drop, but he doesn’t step away.
“Yes…?” you glance around a bit. One girl is on her knees not too far away. Her mouth was occupied and so were her hands.
“Is that a question?” Jimin chuckles. He turns his head behind him to follow your gaze. “This must be a lot for you.”
All you can feel is your body burning up. You release a short huff. The room was stuffy and even this dress was feeling a bit too tight.
“I have never been a part of…”
“An Orgy.” Jimin chuckles, his laughter just as sweet as his voice that it causes you to melt a bit.
You proceed to glance towards Jin again. Just what was he doing standing and watching you for?
“Would you like to?”
Jin doesn’t answer for you, not even when your eyes meet his for any form of guidance.
You’re sure you don’t have a choice, you think. You were brought here for a reason. The blood on your dress was the reminder of the choice you made. The papers you’ve signed and the ring Jin put on your finger.
Slowly, you nod your head.
You wanted this, you told yourself.
You’ve killed for this.
“Champagne?”
There’s another voice this time. It’s as though you were hypnotized by Jimin that you had not realized another golden masked man stopped directly beside you. He holds out a single glass of bubbling champagne for you to take. You do, placing the glass against your lips and proceeding to downing the drink. You lick your lips as the masked man takes it from you.
“Turn around.”
That’s Jimin talking. You do, your heels falling silent against the carpeted floor. You’re now facing Jin. He’s leaning against the stone wall, his eyes never leaving yours.
Jimin’s hands are on your back and you could feel it loosening. He begins to unzip the dress slowly, bringing up anticipation. Your head tilts a bit, your breathing increasing.
“Not participating today?”
Jimin isn’t speaking with you. The masked man who brought you the champagne responds.
“Maybe later. I just want to watch for now.”
Your dress  falls to your ankles. You don’t feel cold, even when the goosebumps erupt through your bare skin. Your body grows even hotter, especially with how close the unknown masked man and Jimin were to you.
“Congratulations on your engagement Y/N.” Jimin murmurs from behind you.
“And to Jin-hyung.”
Jin’s eyes blink away to look at the two men behind you. He offers a curt nod to them.
There’s hands onto your body now and a pair of lips on your neck. They move entirely too fast for you to process. Your eyes flutter and it’s becoming difficult to keep your eyes on Jin.
“It’s been a while since we’ve sampled something new.”
You catch a glimpse of it from the corner of your eyes. The gold mask that falls to the floor.
Jimin’s index finger hooks beneath your chin and pulls your face his way. His lips are centimeters away from you and before he could place his lips upon yours, you pull your face away.
Was this what Jin meant? Was he going to sit and watch you the entire time?
Jin’s eyes connect with yours for a moment and he only nods his head. His arms are crossed over his chest now.
Gradually, you begin to turn your head back towards Jimin. He hadn’t moved from his position and once he realized you were willing now, he placed his lips upon yours. They’re soft and have a faint taste of strawberries.
There’s a pair of large hands that grip at your skin as your lips dances with Jimin’s. Your body radiates more heat as if you’re a furnace and you cannot help the choked moan that dies down in your throat. Maybe it was because you knew Jin was watching you the entire time. Maybe it was because you’re just another body in a sea of people all doing the same.
Jimin releases your lips, but that doesn’t mean you are done. Your face is yanked to the left and you finally come face to face with the other man. He’s just as beautiful as Jimin and the rest of them. His eyes are dark and his lips are thin as the kiss along your jaw. The unknown man was rougher than Jimin, his large hand cupping your neck to pull you closer to him.
“Taehyung.” the man says, his voice deep and raspy that you clench around nothing upon hearing it. As if reading your mind, he introduces himself before his own lips are on yours. He forces your mouth open, his tongue exploring your mouth.
“Champagne, sir?”
Jin turns his eyes to the naked woman with a tray of champagne. She doesn’t look directly in his eyes as she awaits for him to dismiss her or take the champagne offered. He does, long fingers hooking around the glass and he nods his head to dismiss her. She strolls away, naked body swaying into the sea of people.
Jin brings the bubbling liquid to his lips, eyes darting back to you. You were a mess already, Taehyung and Jimin not being known to waste any time. You were already out of your bra and it lay discarded on the ground. Taehyung has a mouth full of your left nipple, large hands aggressively gripping and tugging on your breast as he suckles.
Jimin’s hand find their way between your legs that he shoves apart. He doesn't bother to tear your panties off just yet, his fingers working your clit as his tongue twirls over your right nipple.
Your moans do not go unnoticed by Jin, even in a room full of squeals, slapping skin and aggressive moaning. They’re like honey - sweet and curt and entirely new to his ears. He licks his lips, taking another sip of champagne.
It’s entirely too fast for you to process, you think. The way Taehyung was rough and dominant while Jimin was the exact opposite. He was more teasing, his fingers rubbing circles on your clit while his tongue flickers your nipple dangerously slow.
You don’t attempt to contact your moans and even your body begins to feel heavy. You’re leaning entirely onto Jimin, but the man doesn’t appear to be bothered by it.
“S-Slow down-”
Taehyung’s teeth graze your nipple as he pops it from his mouth. His eyes look upwards at you and he grunts. “No.” he says. “We’re preparing you for hyung.”
You gasp when Jimin’s finger skims across your hole, teasing you even more. He chuckles a bit, a cool laugh because he knows just how much you want his fingers in you.
“Get you nice and ready to be fucked.” Jimin sing-songs, his contrast compared to Taehyung a true eye opener.
“Table.” Taehyung says, and before you have the chance to process, you feel yourself being lifted off your feet.
You yelp when your back slams against something cold and hard. Your eyes dance around the large table, already occupied with people, yet you were the center of it. To your right were women who were being watched by other masked men - not golden masks - as they performed several sex acts.
“Take these off.” Taehyung tugs at your panties, snatching them away from your wet core and down your legs. He doesn’t bother to toss them anywhere near you and instead discards them behind his shoulders. “Let’s see how wet you are, huh?”
“Pretty wet.” Jimin says from beside Taehyung, placing a few of his fingers in his mouth and sucks them.
Taehyung’s hand slaps against your inner thighs once he shoves them apart. You squeal, the action causing a jolt of pleasure right through you.
“We’ll make you even wetter.”
It’s Taehyung that acts first, long fingers inching inside of you. Your back arches when he begins to pound them inside of you so roughly that you barely have time to react. Beside him Jimin holds your right leg while Taehyung your left, both eyes trained on the way your pussy clenches around his fingers.
Jin emerges right behind you on the table, another glass of champagne in his hand. He looks down at your face - fucked out expression with fluttering eyes and flushed skin. There’s a bit of drool in the corner of your mouth that trails down your jaw.
“You must want a cock in you, Y/N. You’re milking all over Tae’s palm!” Jimin chuckles, squeezing your thigh.
“No fair!”
Jin knows the voice of his dongsaeng. The whiny familiar voice of Jeon Jungkook as he appears, mask dangling from his shoulders.
“You didn’t wait for me!”
Taehyung’s pump slows a bit as he turns to the younger man with a roll of his eyes. He releases a sigh. “You were late.”
“I was busy.”
Jungkook meets your glossy gaze and he grins.
“Y/N,” Jungkook leans closer to you. “I’ve voted for you since the beginning.”
“You’re ruining the moment, Kook. Do something or go.” Jimin hisses, with a soft glare.
“I plan to.” Jungkook pushes Taehyung away. “You’re doing nothing but teasing her. I’ll be making her cum.”
The three of them together always caused competition - Jungkook being the most competitive of the trio. Jin doesn’t say anything and he’s a bit amused when you sigh meekly.
Jungkook takes Taehyung’s place between your legs, forcing your right leg into place so you cannot move away from him. He offers you a short wink before lowering himself to your clit.
Your thighs jolt to close, but with Jimin and Jungkook, they don’t. Jungkook’s tongue is warm and it licks between your folds rather aggressively.
Taehyung isn’t amused by being taken over by Jungkook, but he isn’t going to fight him. Not now, at least. Instead, he places his fingers inside your gasping mouth.
Tasting your arousal was something you’d never thought you do - yet, neither was being an “elite” and partaking in…orgies? Especially while your soon to be husband watched above you.
However, it all appears to be a dream. You aren’t bothered being completely naked by three unknown men you all met today while one eats you out as if he has something to prove.
Your eyes roll as there’s another set of fingers pumping inside of you now all the while Jungkook’s warm tongue continues to suckle onto your clit. Your chest heaves as it was all too much now. You’re unsure who’s hand is gripping at your breast, their thumb flicking your nipple, but you’re sure it’s Jimin.
Jin can feel his cock twitching from his suit pants. He drops the empty glass onto the table and leans closer to you, cloudy eyes on the way your breast bounces as your hips jerk against Jungkook’s tongue, pussy squeezing around his fingers.
“She’s so fucked out.” Taehyung chuckles, removing his fingers from your mouth so he trails them down towards your breast.
“I think she’s about to cum.” sing-song Jimin.
“Are you ready for her, hyung?” asks Taehyung.
“I didn’t make her cum yet.” Jungkook groans, fingers pumping inside of you. Your juices coat his palm and he’s entirely enthralled by how sopping wet you are.
“We’re just warming her up.”
Jungkook groans. There’s nothing more he hates than to leave a woman in such a manner. He removes his fingers and sighs with a shake of his head. “Maybe next time.” he says with a cute pout. It’s then you notice the piercing on his lip. “Hyung.”
You lay flat against the table now, chest heaving. Your thighs quiver and you can barely keep your eyes open now. Your high was slowly coming down, but even then did you feel the electricity through your veins.
“Time to consummate the marriage!”
Jimin’s voice dances through your ears.
“Y/N,”
You open your eyes to see Jin right in front of you. His head is tilted and he appears to wait for you to be fully coherent before he speaks again.
“Welcome to the elites.” Jin says, taking a step closer between your legs.
You exhaled a shaky breath, unanswering.
Taehyung, Jimin and Jungkook stand around, their own glasses of champagne in their hand and they down them one by one.
Your low eyes watch as Jin begins to loosen his belt from around his waist.
“Enjoy your night tonight, boys.” Jimin says, lifting his third glass of champagne. His eyes turn from Jungkook to Taehyung. “There’s a long work week ahead of us.”
They carry on their own conversation that goes on deaf ears when Jin places both hands onto your waist and pulls you closer towards him.
“You aren’t going to remember this tomorrow.” Jin murmurs. “You’ve had a lot to drink.”
“I’ll manage.” you murmur back, a hand reaching out to grab at his suit. “Please fuck me.”
Jin chuckles at your filthy words but he was going to do exactly what you asked.
“I have a million on one match in Paris.” Taehyung says. “I have to leave tomorrow morning.”
Jin’s cock is leaking pre-cum when he releases it from his underwear, his suit pants dropping by his ankles.
“Your pussy is pretty.” Jin comments. “I’m glad you won the game, Y/N. You fit into this world greatly.”
Jin enters you without much warning, but your pussy is so wet that it isn’t a problem. The stretch is good, a low groan deep in your throat.
Jin begins to pound into you, his aggressive thrusts only adding to the other around the large room. His eyes watch the way your breast bounces beneath him. He hooks your legs around his waist for a deeper entrance.
Witnessing the way you submit fully to him and allowing yourself to be pleasured by his dongsaengs caused a deep desire to grow within him.  In all ways but one, you were the one he needed. The endless games he partaken in to assure he found the perfect wife had led him to you.
Your pussy grips Jin’s cock with such need. It’s as if it’s been waiting for him this entire time like a missing puzzle piece. He never wants to stop, he thinks. You’re beautiful underneath the dim lights of the room, eyes dark and clouded with temptation, lust and intoxication.
“You’re gonna cum before I do.” Jin grumbles, his fingernails digging into the skin of your hips. He snaps his hips roughly, the table long moving erratically beneath the two of you. “Go ahead and let go, Y/N.”
You’re flipped, your front slammed against the cold table. You come face to face with Jungkook, who’s eyes sparkle a bit, but you don’t have the time to talk. Jin enters you once more, pounding so deep inside of you. Your hands reach out to hold anything on the table and find nothing - until Jimin takes your hand and allows you to squeeze.
“I have to go to Japan.” Jimin says, his thumb rubbing the top of your hand encouragingly as his hyung fucks you without a care in the world. “Meeting with politicians.”
“Ugh, boring.” Jungkook leans back, arms behind his head as he listens to Jimin speak.
“F-Fuck.” you shake your head, stomach churning with the familiar feeling from early - the one you lost when Jungkook was forced away from you.
“Let go,Y/N. Cum all over me.” Jin says darkly, his fingernails were going to leave bruises on your skin when he was done with you.
Your ass slams against his abdomen, his pounds growing harder and harder by the second.
“To the newlyweds.” Taehyung raises yet another glass of champagne, his words slurred a bit.
You’re seeing white this time, juices pooling out and down your thighs. You squeeze Jimin’s hand in your own, a spew of curse words leaving your lips.
Jin isn’t done - not yet. He continues fucking into you while you squirm underneath him. It was all too much to handle, the overstimulation beginning to hurt a bit. However, the pain felt good and even you found that you were going to cum once more.
“I’m going to take you to our home and fuck you even more.” Jin’s sloppy thrust indicates that he was just as wrecked as you were. A hand takes your hair and forces you back so he can place his plump lips besides your ear. “Y/N…my wife…” Jin groans, milky seeds erupting inside of you so deep. It’s just as hot as you feel, filling you to the brim entirely.
You drop back onto the table with an exhausted huff, eyes fluttering close. Jin remains inside of  you, his cum pooling out and filling you up at both a rabid and slow pace. Sweat pools the corner of your forehead and you are about done with the night.
“To the newlyweds.” Jungkook claps his hands together. “I can’t wait for the wedding.”
“To think it took this long for you to find the perfect one.” Jimin states. You are asleep now. Still naked and on top of the table, weariness taking over your body completely. “One manipulative little bitch she is for tricking that girl. I like her.”
Jin agrees. He pulls his pants up and tightens his belt just as before. “Whatever it takes to win.” he says, placing a hand onto your head and rubbing a bit. “She’ll fit right in.”

Tommy finds Buck sitting alone on the rooftop of his apartment building in the dead of night, a blanket draped around his shoulders, a half-empty beer bottle beside him. It’s freezing, and the city below hums with life, but up here, it’s just the two of them.
Neither of them has spoken in months. The kind of silence that isn’t just about words but about everything left unsaid.
Tommy stands there for a moment, unsure. Buck doesn’t look over, just exhales, a cloud of breath visible in the cold air.
“You shouldn’t be up here alone.”
Buck lets out a humorless laugh. “You shouldn’t be here at all.”
Tommy swallows.
He could leave.
Maybe he should.
But instead, he says, “You called me.”
Buck finally turns, his eyes tired, hollow in a way that Tommy isn’t used to seeing. Like he’s been holding something heavy, something breaking him from the inside out. “I didn’t mean to.”
Tommy offers a small smile. “Yeah, you did.”
Buck looks away, gripping the beer bottle like it might hold him together. His voice, when he speaks, is quiet. Fractured. “I kept telling myself I was fine. That I was getting better.” He lets out a shaky breath. “Maddie is safe now, and Chim’s taking care of her. Eddie is probably happy with Chris, just like he should be. And you…”
“Me?”
Buck laughs, but it’s a hollow sound. “You’re fine, too. You’re always fine I guess.” He shakes his head, staring out at the city. “So why am I the only one who still feels like this?”
“Buck—”
Buck cuts him off, his voice breaking. “Tonight, I just—I don’t know. I just needed to hear your voice.”
Tommy exhales sharply. “So you called.”
Buck nods. His knuckles go white around the bottle. “Yeah.” He laughs bitterly. “And the worst part? The second you picked up—because of course you did, I didn’t know what to say. I just—” He shrugs, his voice breaking. “I just wanted you.”
Tommy's chest tightens like someone’s squeezing the air out of him. He looks away, gripping the edge of the rooftop like it might anchor him. He shouldn’t say it. He knows that. But it’s late, and it’s cold, and Buck is sitting here looking like he’s one wrong word away from falling apart.
So, against all his better judgment, Tommy whispers, “Okay, say it now.”
Buck’s breath catches. He looks at Tommy then, like he’s searching for something. A reason. A lifeline.
The wind howls, and for the first time in months, Buck speaks the truth. “I miss you.”
Tommy closes his eyes. He didn’t want this for Buck when he left. He thought walking away would make it easier, that Buck would be fine, that he’d move on, be happy. But hearing it now—feeling it in the way Buck’s voice breaks—it just feels like he got everything wrong.
He hesitates before sitting down beside him.
Tommy barely has time to settle before Buck leans into him, his head dropping against Tommy’s shoulder like he doesn’t even have the strength to hold himself up anymore.
The breath Buck exhales is unsteady, like he’s been holding it in for too long, like he’s afraid to let go completely. His fingers tighten briefly around the bottle before going slack, the tension in his body melting away, even if only for a moment.
Tommy’s eyes catch on something next to the beer bottles—a small plate of cookies, untouched, sitting on a napkin.
He frowns. “cookies?”
Buck exhales, a quiet, humorless laugh. “Yeah, I made them.” A beat passes. Then, without looking at him, Buck shrugs. “Before I called you.”
Tommy doesn’t know why that sticks with him. Why it feels heavier than everything else.
He doesn’t ask about it. But something about them feels sad.
And instead of leaving, he reaches for Buck’s hand. He doesn’t say it back—not yet.
But he stays.

Hear me out: Sugar Daddy! Bruce with bunny! Reader at a gala, but Bruce is using one of those remote controlled vibrators on reader, she tries to take it out on the bathroom, but Bruce punishes her for trying to take it out
-🦢
MDNI 18+
it was one of the biggest galas in the city, and bruce had to bring his arm candy. you were his sugar baby, all you had to do was comply with his needs in the bedroom, which were not only good for him but for you too and you got all the jewellery and dresses you wanted. but, it also meant that you had to go to the galas as well.
bruce knew all too well about how boring these galas can be, he’s been attending them for years, but to see you all pouty and whiny he couldn’t help with an idea in his mind.
now you had a vibrator shoved up your cunt whilst he chatted amongst the businessmen. “you ok darling? you look a bit flushed,” the businessman frowned as he stared at you, him and bruce were talking about some business dealings with jargon you didn’t understand, as a result of your boredom bruce turned up the setting until you were gripping into his bicep, nails digging into his tailored suit.
“she’s alright, they can never get the temperature right here that’s all, always too hot inside but too cold inside,” bruce shrugged nonchalantly as he narrowed his eyes at you, one that no one else caught.
the setting got higher and higher, to the point where you were convinced that you were going to come. your knees were weak and it took every ounce of self control to not moan in front of a well renowned ceo. “excuse me but i need to use the restroom,” you squeaked as you politely dismissed yourself from the conversation, heels echoing on the marble floor as you made your way to the bathroom.
you barely made it to the bathroom, going to one near the storage room for one person only. you pulled your dress up, seeing how soaked your panties were alone as the vibrations increased more and more. bruce was mad.
your hands shook as you pulled your panties down, before removing the vibrator out of your cunt. only to have him knock on the bathroom door.
“let me in right now,” his voice low with no room for argument.
bruce was the one taking you home, and you knew better than to anger the man that had enough money to buy the whole damn city.
slowly you unlocked the door, bruce’s large figure storming in immediately before locking the door. “what are you doing?” his eyes narrowed on the vibrator in your hands rather than your cunt.
“we had an agreement to not remove it.”
“i know but it was getting too much and i was going to come and-“
“then you come,” he said flatly, “you don’t get to bend the rules doll, his voice low as he took the vibrator in his hands, before bending you over the sink’s counter.
“you need to know your place, when an older respectable man asks you to do something, you listen.” he grumbled as he nudged your fat apart, shoving the vibrator in your puffy folds. “sensitive bruce,” you whined as you felt it vibrating, the speed increasing each second as he clicked the remote.
“too bad sweetheart, you should’ve thought about this before,” his voice low as you felt him spread your cheeks. your eyes widen in realisation before he spat on your puckered hole.
“clenching around nothing? how about i fix that?” he rubbed his thumb around the hole, your body shaking from the vibrator and how you whined pathetically. gently, he inserted a finger, watching as it clenched, “you like this sweetheart? you like to be filled in both holes?”
“well i need to punish you for disobeying my orders,” his voice low and controlled as he watched you whine, your mouth making pathetic little protests.
“no bruce, ‘m too sensitive,” your eyes wide and pleading as he unbuckles his belt, the leather material falling on the marble floor.
he wasted no time fucking your ass, watching as your limp body bounced with his thrusts, your ass rippling as he hits them. “this is the only thing you are good for apart from being eye candy, don’t forget that yeah?” he grunted as he abused your gummy walls.
“nm-mph!” you mewled as tears streamed down your cheeks, your vision clouding.
“don’t you there disobey my fucking orders.” he grunted, his nails digging into your soft flesh with his thrusts hard but having absolutely no intention of making you come.”

I DON'T THINK I COULD LOVE YOU MORE
******
Pairing: Billie Eilish x fem!reader
Words: 1.9K
****** [So after everything that happened, I really wanted to write something cute and happy for the Grammys, I've been obssessed with Billie these last days, so I hope you like it!!!]
Tumblr media
The alarm went off earlier than usual on the morning of the Grammys. Y/n stirred beneath the covers, stretching an arm out to find her girlfriend—only to be met with an empty, cold spot. She frowned. If there was one thing she knew about Billie, it was how much she despised getting out of bed without spending a few minutes tangled together, exchanging sleepy kisses.
With a sigh, Y/n lazily pulled her hair into a messy bun and grabbed one of Billie’s oversized sweatshirts. If they were already huge on the singer, Y/n practically drowned in them, despite being taller than her girlfriend. But that’s exactly what made them so cozy.
She padded toward the kitchen, where she found Billie perched on a stool, hands wrapped around a steaming cup of tea. Y/n approached her from behind, wrapping an arm around her waist and resting her chin on her girlfriend’s shoulder. It was only then that she noticed how tense Billie was.
“Good morning, my love,” Y/n murmured, pressing a soft kiss to her cheek. But instead of the usual warm response, Billie only managed a small, tight-lipped smile—more a grimace than anything.
Y/n’s brows furrowed. Something’s up.
“What’s wrong? Are you okay?” she asked, concern evident in her voice.
Billie let out a heavy sigh, finally turning in Y/n’s embrace to face her. “Sorry, baby. It’s just… I’m a bit stressed about tonight.” She hesitated, then ran a hand through her hair. “Claudia called me before the alarm went off. Turns out Finneas woke up feeling sick… and he lost his voice. Like, he literally can’t sing, and I don’t know what to do.”
“Oh, babe, I’m so sorry,” Y/n said sincerely. “But I know you’ll figure something out. Have you talked to your team?” As she spoke, she absentmindedly ran her fingers through Billie’s hair, knowing it always helped calm her—even just a little.
“I called my mom, and she said I have two options: find someone to do the harmonies while Finneas plays guitar, or sing without them and just have him play.”
Y/n nodded, considering it. “What do you want to do?” she asked, pulling away briefly to make herself a cup of coffee. She missed the way Billie immediately pouted at the loss of her touch. Once her drink was ready, Y/n returned to her girlfriend’s side, taking Billie’s hand in hers and tracing slow, soothing circles on her knuckles.
“Finneas says he’ll still be okay to play, so that’s not the issue,” Billie admitted. “But I would really like someone to sing with me. It gives the song more depth, y’know? Makes it feel… fuller.”
Y/n took a thoughtful sip of her coffee. “That makes sense. Is there anyone you can call? I mean, you still have one more rehearsal—you could try it out with someone and see how it feels.”
Billie fell silent, deep in thought. A few moments later, a small smile tugged at her lips as she turned to face Y/n again.
“Baby,” she started sweetly. “You know I love you, right?”
Y/n narrowed her eyes, immediately suspicious. “Of course I know… Why?”
Billie hesitated, her blue eyes wide and pleading. “Well… You obviously know the lyrics to the song…”
Y/n’s stomach dropped. “…Yeah?”
“You’ve been to every rehearsal, so you know exactly where Finneas comes in…”
“Billie…”
“And even if you don’t believe it, you do have an amazing voice…”
Y/n’s eyes widened. “I do not like where this is going.”
Billie pressed her lips together before finally blurting it out. “Sooo… Maybe… Remember that I love you so, so much… but maybe you could—I don’t know—sing with me tonight?” She whispered the last part, voice pitching higher as she looked at Y/n with the most hopeful expression imaginable.
Y/n stared at her. “Babe. That is crazy.” She set her coffee down, heart rate already spiking. “I have never sung in front of anyone—barely anyone. And you want me to do it at the Grammys? In front of actual singers? I cannot do that. I’m not prepared. We’ve never even sung your song together—it might not even work!”
Panic was creeping into her voice now, but she also refused to meet Billie’s gaze. She knew that if she looked into those big, ocean-blue eyes, she’d be done for.
Billie took both of Y/n’s hands in hers. “Love, I trust you. I know you can do it. And, like you said, we still have one more rehearsal. Just try it—for me? Please?”
Y/n groaned, running a hand down her face. She was losing this battle fast.
“I don’t know… Are you completely sure you wouldn’t be better off on your own?” she tried one last time.
Billie shook her head, voice unwavering. “I’ll never be better than when I’m with you.”
Y/n exhaled sharply, already knowing she’d caved. Billie could ask her for the moon, and she’d find a way to bring it to her.
“I hate that I love you so much,” she grumbled. “You better make it up to me later.”
Billie smirked, immediately tugging Y/n closer by the hem of the sweatshirt, pulling her between her legs. One hand found its way to Y/n’s waist, the other tilting her chin up until their lips were just inches apart.
“Oh, you bet I will,” Billie murmured before capturing Y/n’s lips in a slow, deep kiss—soft, yet full of passion.
Much to Y/n’s dismay, the rehearsal went way too smoothly. Her voice blended perfectly with Billie’s, something she had no choice but to admit. And despite the nerves that had plagued her all morning, she found herself feeling… a little more confident, comforted by the presence of the siblings—Finneas strumming the guitar beside her, Billie performing so effortlessly that it almost felt natural to join in. Her girlfriend hadn’t stopped showering her with compliments, making sure she knew just how amazing she was.
Now, as they got ready for the night, their hotel room was packed with stylists, makeup artists, and assistants bustling around to make sure they looked their best. Clothes were everywhere—red carpet looks, performance outfits, even afterparty choices. It was overwhelming, but Y/n took it all in stride. She’d do anything for Billie, and she’d do it a hundred times over.
“Baby?”
Y/n snapped out of her thoughts at the sound of Billie’s voice. She hummed in acknowledgment, letting her know she was listening.
“I was thinking… Since you’ll be on stage with me tonight, maybe you could also join me on the red carpet?” Billie hesitated before continuing, her voice softer. “I know we weren’t planning to confirm our relationship, but I kinda want to… I want to hold your hand and kiss you without worrying about the cameras.”
Y/n smiled, warmth blooming in her chest. “I think today’s perfect,” she agreed. “Besides, bringing me as your plus one would’ve already been suspicious. Not that we’re very discreet anyway. People really don’t believe our ‘we’re just friends’ speech anymore.”
They both laughed, knowing she was right. They had never officially confirmed anything, but they had never exactly hidden it either. They were private—but that didn’t mean they had to pretend.
Y/n had no idea how Billie remained so composed throughout the entire evening. Just walking the red carpet had her stressing, but she thought she’d done pretty well—posing for pictures, both together and separately, sneaking fond glances at Billie when the singer wasn’t looking.
She had met so many artists she admired, with Billie proudly introducing her to people like Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan, all while Y/n tried very hard not to freak out. But no matter how nerve-wracking it was, the steady presence of Billie’s hand on her back kept her grounded. The singer made sure she was okay at all times—whether by asking directly, squeezing her hand, or simply locking eyes from across the room.
But now, as they stood backstage, changed into their performance outfits, Y/n’s nerves returned—stronger than ever.
She tried to hide it, not wanting to add to Billie’s stress, but of course her girlfriend saw right through her.
A few minutes before stepping on stage, Billie pulled her into a hug, making her look at her.
“You’re going to do great, baby. I know it. Just like in rehearsals.”
“Yeah… except this time, real singers will be watching.”
Billie smirked. “And? I’ll be there. Finneas will be there. If it gets too overwhelming, just look at me, alright?”
Y/n exhaled shakily but nodded. “Okay. Let’s do this.”
They shared a soft kiss before someone from production signaled that it was time.
Taking a deep breath, Y/n stepped behind the microphone. She could feel the weight of the moment pressing down on her chest, but then—Finneas placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. They exchanged a small smile, just as the lights dimmed.
Only for Billie to start… talking?
“Hi, guys!” Her voice echoed through the venue, casual and warm. “Normally, we don’t introduce our songs because we’re short on time, but luckily, they gave me a pass tonight.” She chuckled, the crowd responding with cheers. “This morning, we woke up to some sad news—my brother lost his voice. And, as you know, his harmonies are super important to this song. So, we had to find a solution.”
She turned slightly, glancing at Y/n with a teasing sparkle in her eyes.
“Finneas is still going to play, obviously, but tonight, someone very special to me will be singing his part.” She paused before adding, “She’s a little nervous, so if you know the song—please, help us sing. Here’s ‘Birds of a Feather’ with Finneas and Y/n!”
And just like that—it began.
At first, Y/n could barely hear herself over the sound of her own heartbeat, but as the song progressed, she found herself feeling it. The music, the moment, the presence of Billie right next to her. Every now and then, Billie would glance over, locking eyes and smiling, silently reminding her that she was right where she needed to be.
Before she knew it, it was over.
As the final note rang through the venue and the applause roared around them, Y/n barely had time to process it before Billie wrapped her in a tight hug.
“I knew you could do it! You were amazing, baby!” Billie gushed, cupping Y/n’s face and pressing quick kisses all over it.
“Says you!” Y/n laughed breathlessly. “You were born for this, my love. Thank you for trusting me.”
“I always will,” Billie murmured. “I love you so much, Y/n.”
“I love you too.”
They kissed like there was no one else around them—before finally heading back to their seats. But not before Y/n insisted on changing back into her dress, claiming she didn’t want to spend the rest of the night in a t-shirt.
Of course, Billie mocked her for it. “Nothing’s better than a t-shirt, babe.”
They continued watching the show, Billie leaning over at one point as the stage was being set for Sabrina Carpenter’s performance.
With a mischievous smirk, she whispered into Y/n’s ear, “You do know the next step is for you to sing with me on tour, right? And not just the harmonies.”
Y/n turned to her, eyes wide. “You’re kidding.”
Billie just grinned, bursting into laughter at her reaction. And, despite herself, Y/n couldn’t help but laugh too.
She shook her head, leaning in to press a quick kiss to Billie’s lips. “I was going to refuse, but… you do know all you have to do is ask.”

Spending time with your best friend has always been your favorite thing in the world. Jiyong was your safe space, your person—the one you could sit in comfortable silence with or talk to for hours on end without ever running out of things to say. But lately, that joy had been overshadowed by a growing concern gnawing at your chest.
BIGBANG’s tour was just around the corner, and their new album was about to drop. It was supposed to be an exciting time, and it was—you were beyond thrilled for them, for him. You had always been his biggest supporter, ready to help in any way you could. But as you sat in the dimly lit practice room, watching Jiyong push himself to his absolute limit, that excitement soured into unease.
His voice was raw from overuse, cracked and strained in a way that made you wince every time he spoke. He practiced his choreography until he was drenched in sweat, his breath coming in short, shallow gasps. Some nights, he worked himself to the point of collapse, and you were the one left to pick up the pieces—carrying his limp, exhausted body to bed, draping a blanket over his shaking form, whispering for him to rest even though you knew he wouldn’t listen.
Tonight was no different. The music blasted through the studio speakers, and Jiyong was lost in the rhythm, his body moving on autopilot despite the evident exhaustion written all over him. You watched as his steps faltered, his balance wavering. Then, just like that, his legs buckled, and he went crashing down.
“Jiyong!” You rushed to his side, your heart hammering as you kneeled beside him. His skin was clammy, his breathing ragged as he tried to push himself up. You grabbed the water bottle you’d brought for him and shoved it into his trembling hands.
“Drink,” you urged, your voice softer now, laced with worry. He took a few sips, barely able to keep the bottle steady. “Ji, you’re worrying me,” you admitted, eyes searching his for any sign that he’d finally listen, that he’d see what he was doing to himself.
“I’m fine,” he muttered, his voice hoarse as he wiped the sweat from his brow. “Just have to make sure I’m ready for tour.”
You shook your head. “Ji, you’re overworking yourself. You’ve got everything perfected, okay? Give yourself time to rest.”
He exhaled sharply, pushing himself to his feet despite your hand reaching out to steady him. “You don’t get it, Y/n,” he said, brushing past you, already making his way back to the center of the room.
You stood as well, crossing your arms as you watched him stubbornly reset the track. “I get that you’re tired, Ji,” you said gently, trying again. “You’re just hurting yourself at this point—”
“You don’t know what you’re talking about,” he snapped, cutting you off as the first beats of the song echoed through the studio.
Your chest tightened. “I’m just worried… I mean, you fainted and now you just want to keep going like nothing happened?”
Jiyong clenched his jaw, his fists balling at his sides. He turned to face you, eyes blazing with something you couldn’t quite place—anger, frustration, desperation?
“Look, Y/n,” he said, his voice cold and sharp, each word like a blade slicing through your chest. “You’re a bartender, alright? You don’t have to be that skilled at anything.”
The air in the room shifted instantly. You felt the words like a physical blow, your breath catching in your throat.
Jiyong must have seen the way your face fell because for a split second, his expression flickered with something softer—regret, maybe? But then it was gone, replaced by a steely determination as he turned back to his practice.
“If I’m not perfect, then I’m done. Alright?” He let out a humorless laugh, shaking his head. “If you can’t handle it, then fuck off.”
Silence.
You scoffed, a bitter chuckle escaping your lips even as you fought to keep the tears at bay. “Wow,” you whispered, voice thick with emotion. “Fuck you, Jiyong.”
You turned on your heel, grabbing your bag with shaking hands as you stormed out of the studio. You half-expected him to call after you, to chase after you and take it back. But he didn’t.
The only sound that followed you was the relentless pounding of the bass as he started the song over again.
The moment you stepped outside, the cold night air hit you, but it did nothing to dull the sting of his words. Your vision blurred as tears spilled freely down your cheeks. You barely registered getting into your car, hands gripping the wheel so tightly that your knuckles turned white.
You had always known Jiyong could be stubborn, obsessive even. But this? This was something else. This was him drowning, and no matter how hard you tried, you couldn’t pull him back to the surface.
And worst of all, he didn’t even want you to.
You barely made it into your apartment before collapsing onto your bed, burying your face in the pillows as sobs wracked your body. You cried until there was nothing left, until exhaustion took over, pulling you into a restless sleep.
-
How is he? You texted Seunghyun, your fingers hesitating for a moment before hitting send.
A few minutes passed before your phone buzzed with his response.
Being a total prick.
You sighed, pressing your forehead into your palm. It had been three days since you last spoke to Jiyong. Three days since he spat those words at you, since you walked out of that practice studio, feeling like the ground had been ripped from beneath you. Three days of silence.
And now, with BIGBANG’s first show of the tour just four days away, all you could do was check in through the others. You had been messaging Seunghyun and Daesung, hoping—maybe even praying—that Jiyong would come to his senses, that he’d realize how badly he had hurt you. But instead, he was still working himself into the ground, still burning himself out, and in return, treating everyone around him like shit.
You bit your lip, debating whether to text him. Your fingers hovered over his contact, but your stomach twisted at the memory of his voice.
"You’re a bartender, alright? You don’t have to be that skilled at anything."
That one line alone still stung like hell.
Jiyong had always been intense when it came to his career, but never—not once—had he spoken to you like that. You had been his best friend for years, his shoulder to lean on when things got too heavy. And yet, the moment you expressed concern, he shoved you away like you were nothing.
Was that really how he saw you? Just some nobody?
You blinked back the fresh sting of tears. No. You refused to let yourself dwell on it anymore. Instead, you did what you always did when life became too much—you threw yourself into work.
Extra shifts, late nights, anything to keep your mind occupied. And it worked… for the most part. But when Saturday rolled around, that familiar ache settled in your chest like a weight you couldn’t shake.
You had never missed one of Jiyong’s home shows. Not once. From his first-ever performance to the biggest sold-out stadiums, you were always there, watching from the V.I.P section, cheering him on. But this time? This time, you weren’t even sure if he wanted you there.
So, you made the decision. You picked up an extra shift at the bar. Saturday nights were always hectic, and if nothing else, at least the tips would be good.
Still, as you got ready for work, your heart ached. It felt wrong not being there.
You glanced at your phone. Zero messages from Jiyong. Nothing. He wasn’t even going to check in. Not even a half-assed apology. Your fingers tightened around your phone, debating one last time if you should reach out.
“Fuck it,” you muttered under your breath before quickly typing out a message.
“I love you, Ji. Good luck at your show tonight.”
Short. Simple. To the point.
You sent it before you could overthink it, shoving your phone into your bag and focusing on finishing your makeup.
-
Meanwhile…
Jiyong sat in the dressing room, his body slumped against the couch. His vision swam as he stared at his phone, your message illuminating the screen. His hands trembled as he gripped the device tighter, reading and rereading your words.
"I love you, Ji."
God, his chest ached.
His head was pounding, his skin slick with sweat despite the AC blasting in the room. He was exhausted—more exhausted than he had ever been in his life. His entire body ached, his muscles screaming in protest with every movement. He had barely eaten in days, barely slept. And now, the crushing weight of knowing you weren’t here—knowing that he had done this, that he had driven you away—was suffocating him.
She should be here, he thought bitterly.
You were always there. Always in the crowd, always waiting for him backstage with a knowing smile and a bottle of water, telling him how proud you were. No matter what, you were there.
But not tonight.
And it was his fault.
“Jiyong, are you okay?”
He barely registered his stylist’s voice until he felt the cool press of her hand against his forehead.
“You’re burning up,” she muttered, concern evident in her tone.
“M’fine…” he mumbled, swatting her hand away weakly.
She frowned but didn’t argue, instead focusing on finishing his hair, even though the strands were already damp from the sweat clinging to his skin. No amount of styling product would keep it in place—not with the way his body was overheating.
He closed his eyes, willing himself to push through the exhaustion. One hour until showtime. Just one more hour.
But even as he tried to rest, the shivering wouldn’t stop.
“Jiyong!”
His eyes snapped open at the sound of Seunghyun and Taeyang’s voices.
“What?!” he snapped, his patience paper-thin.
The two men exchanged a glance before Taeyang took a cautious step forward. “Dude… you don’t look so good.”
Jiyong scoffed, turning onto his side to face the couch. “Fuck off, I’m fine…” His body trembled violently, contradicting his words. “Just leave me alone.”
Seunghyun frowned. “You’re sweating like hell, and you’re shaking, Ji. You seriously think you can get through a full show like this?”
Jiyong gritted his teeth, forcing himself to sit up. “I said I’m fine,” he ground out, even though the room spun around him.
The others weren’t convinced. They had seen Jiyong push himself too far before, but this? This was different. He looked pale—too pale. And the way his shoulders trembled, the way his breaths came out shallow and labored, sent a deep sense of unease through them all.
“We need to tell the manager,” Seunghyun finally said. “If he collapses on stage, it’s gonna be bad.”
Jiyong let out a bitter laugh. “I won’t collapse.”
“Bullshit,” Taeyang muttered. “You can barely sit up.”
The room fell into tense silence before Daesung finally spoke up. “I’m gonna call Y/n.”
Jiyong’s head snapped up, his eyes flashing with something unreadable. “No,” he croaked, but it was weak, barely a whisper.
“She can help,” Daesung insisted, already pulling out his phone.
“Yeah, good idea,” the others agreed.
Jiyong clenched his jaw, his fists tightening in his lap. The last thing he wanted was for you to see him like this—to see him so weak, so broken.
But deep down, past all the pride, past all the self-inflicted suffering…
He just wanted you.
Because no matter how badly he fucked up, no matter how much he pushed you away…
You were the one person who could always put him back together.
The moment you stepped away from the bar, you broke into a sprint toward the bathroom, your heart hammering against your ribs. Your phone buzzed relentlessly in your pocket, each vibration sending a fresh wave of anxiety through you. Hands trembling, you yanked it out, eyes widening at the flood of missed calls.
Daesung. Seunghyun. Taeyang.
Something was wrong.
You barely had time to inhale before hitting Daesung’s number. He answered on the first ring.
“Y/n, Jiyong needs you.” His voice was tight, urgent.
Your stomach clenched. “What’s going on? I’m at work.”
“I think it’s a panic attack or something. I don’t know—he won’t let any of us help him. Y/n, please, just come.”
You swallowed hard, your breath hitching. “I don’t… I don’t think he wants me there, Daesung. We had a fight. He—he said some things…”
“He’s shutting down, Y/n. Our manager is thinking of canceling the show.” His voice cracked, desperation seeping through the line. “You’re his best friend. If anyone can get through to him, it’s you.”
Your fingers dug into the bathroom counter. The things Jiyong had said to you still echoed in your head, sharp and unforgiving. But was that really him talking? Or was it exhaustion twisting his words, pushing him past reason?
He was your person. Your best friend. And right now, he needed you.
“I’m on my way.” You hung up, moving quickly to gather your things, but before you could slip out, your boss caught sight of you.
“Where the hell do you think you’re going? It’s packed out there—we need you!”
“I’m sorry, sir. Family emergency,” you stammered, throwing your apron onto the counter.
“If you walk out that door, don’t bother coming back.”
You met his glare, then—without a second thought—flipped him off and stormed through the crowded kitchen to the back door, heart hammering as you reached your car. You tossed your bag onto the passenger seat and peeled out of the parking lot, heading straight for the stadium. The city lights blurred past you, neon signs flickering against the darkening sky.
Your phone rang again. It was Daesung. “Hey, I’m almost there. Where do I go?” you asked breathlessly.
“You’re on the list,” Daesung said. “Just head backstage.”
You barely parked before jumping out of the car, navigating through the maze of security and flashing lights. The walls of the venue were lined with photos of legendary musicians, their eyes seeming to watch you as you ran past. Your pulse thrummed in your ears.
Then you heard Daesung call your name. “Y/n!” Daesung waved you over, his relief evident.
You didn’t waste a second. Following him down the hall, you turned a sharp corner and stepped into the dressing room. The air inside was thick with tension.
Jiyong sat hunched over, his elbows braced on his knees, his face pale and drawn. A paramedic stood beside him, pressing an ice pack to his head, murmuring something you couldn’t hear.
“Ji…” Your voice came out softer than you intended, your heart twisting at the sight of him. “What happened?”
His head lifted at the sound of your voice. His dark eyes met yours, wide and glassy.
Then, as if gravity had yanked him forward, he surged up from the couch and threw himself into your arms. His entire body trembled against you, his grip so tight it nearly stole your breath.
“I’m so sorry,” he choked out, his voice breaking.
You barely had time to steady yourself before he buried his face in your shoulder. His weight pressed into you, as if you were the only thing holding him up.
“Ji…” you whispered, your hands sliding up his back, fingers threading into his hair. “I’ve got you.”
His breath came in shuddering gasps. “I was an idiot. I shouldn’t have said those things. I should have listened to you—I shouldn’t have pushed myself so hard. I—” His voice cracked, raw and desperate. “I’m just so fucking sorry.”
The others watched silently as he clung to you, their faces a mix of relief and quiet concern.
“It’s okay,” you murmured, rubbing slow circles into his back. “I forgive you.”
His shoulders shook as he let out a quiet sob, the dam finally breaking. The weight of exhaustion, pressure, and regret poured out of him all at once.
“Can you guys give us a minute?” you asked over his shoulder, still holding him.
Daesung nodded, ushering the others out. The paramedic handed you an ice pack and a bottle of water, giving you a small nod before exiting.
Jiyong let you guide him back to the couch, collapsing onto it with a heavy sigh. He wiped at his tear-streaked face, sniffling as you handed him the water. You pressed the ice pack gently to the back of his neck.
“Ji, tell me what happened.”
He took a slow sip, his voice hoarse. “I fucked up, Y/n.” He shook his head. “You were right. I shouldn’t have pushed myself so hard. I—” He exhaled sharply. “I’m exhausted. And then you weren’t here, and I just… I don’t know. I lost it.”
You hesitated. “I didn’t think you wanted me here after what you said to me.”
His gaze snapped up to meet yours, guilt swimming in his eyes. “I didn’t mean it. Not for a second. I was out of my head, Y/n. I’ve been beating myself up over it for days, but I was too ashamed to call.”
Your heart softened. You reached for him, pulling him close and pressing a light kiss to his temple. “I know, Ji.” You stroked his hair gently. “I just worry about you.” A quiet pause. “I love you.”
His breath hitched. “Can you ever forgive me?” he asked, his voice small. His big, innocent eyes searched yours, raw and vulnerable.
You let out a soft laugh, brushing a tear from his cheek. “Of course I can. Just don’t ever say some dumb shit like that again.”
A weak smile tugged at his lips. “Cross my heart.”
“Do you feel any better? Do you need to cancel the show?”
He shook his head, squeezing your hand. “You fix everything. You always do. You’re magic like that.” He brought your knuckles to his lips, pressing a lingering kiss against them.
Shivers ran down your spine.
“Here.” You tugged him down gently. “Lay back. You have forty-five minutes until the show. Rest as much as you can.”
With a deep breath, he let himself relax against the couch, his fingers still loosely curled around yours. You ran a comforting hand through his hair, cooling him down with the ice pack.
-
“How’s he doing?” Taeyang and Seunghyun appeared in the doorway of the dressing room, their faces laced with concern but softened by the sight of Jiyong sitting upright.
“I’m fine,” Jiyong muttered, his voice still a little hoarse. He ran a hand through his damp hair, exhaling slowly before flashing them a sheepish smile. “Sorry for being such a prick…”
Taeyang let out a chuckle, shaking his head. “We’re just glad you’re okay, man.”
Seunghyun smirked, glancing between the two of you. “Y/n, I think we need to keep you around more often. Seems like you’re the only one who can get through to him.”
You grinned. “Well, I just lost my job, so I’m free whenever!”
“What?” Jiyong snapped his head toward you so fast it nearly gave him whiplash. His smile faded instantly, replaced by guilt and concern.
You waved a dismissive hand. “It’s fine, Ji. My boss was a fucking dick anyway. I was gonna quit eventually.”
But Jiyong wasn’t convinced. He looked down, his fingers twisting the hem of his shirt as his jaw clenched. You could see the thoughts racing through his mind—this was his fault. Another thing to add to the weight he carried.
“Hey.” You softened, reaching out and tilting his chin up with your fingers, forcing his eyes to meet yours. “You’re more important, yeah?”
His bottom lip quivered ever so slightly before he muttered, “M’sorry…” His voice was barely above a whisper, thick with emotion.
Your heart clenched. Without thinking, without hesitation, you leaned in, pressing a soft, lingering kiss to his lips.
He froze for half a second, as if his brain was struggling to process what was happening. But then, slowly, he melted into you, his hands coming up to cradle your face as he deepened the kiss.
It was hesitant at first—uncertain, full of unspoken words—but then something shifted. His fingers tightened against your skin, his lips moving with more urgency, more need. Like he had been waiting for this just as long as you had.
The sound of someone clearing their throat made you both jolt apart.
“Uh… show time in five,” Seunghyun said, eyes wide with amusement before he and Taeyang practically ran out of the room, leaving you and Jiyong in breathless silence.
As you pulled back just slightly, your noses brushed, his breath warm against your lips. His dark eyes were searching yours, his chest rising and falling rapidly.
“W-what was that for?” he stammered, voice cracking slightly.
You bit your lip, hoping you hadn’t just overstepped everything. “Good luck,” you whispered, offering him a small smile.
Jiyong blinked at you, stunned. Then, to your surprise, his lips curled into a slow, boyish grin before he cupped your face and kissed you again. This time, it wasn’t hesitant—it was filled with silent promises, unspoken confessions, and years of built-up longing neither of you had dared to acknowledge until now.
You smiled against his lips, your heart pounding so loudly you were sure he could hear it.
“Now go!” you laughed, gently shoving him toward the door. “You don’t wanna miss your first show.”
Jiyong stumbled back slightly, his grin never faltering. As he reached the doorway, he hesitated, his fingers lingering on the frame as he turned to look at you.
“You’ll be here when I get back?” he asked, almost shyly.
Your expression softened. “I’ll always be here, Ji.”
Something in his eyes shifted, like he was silently thanking whatever higher power had brought you into his life. Then, with a final, wide smile, he spun on his heel and took off down the hall, his energy renewed.
From backstage, you watched him take the stage, his presence electrifying the entire stadium. The roar of the crowd was deafening, but all you could focus on was him.
And as he stood under the blinding lights, microphone in hand, he turned his head ever so slightly—just enough to catch a glimpse of you in the shadows.
A private smile ghosted across his lips.
Your stomach flipped.
This was only the beginning of a whole new chapter in your life.

Hii i love your fics💕🫃🏻
Could you write a Nam-Gyu x reader story where the reader is kind of antisocial and doesn’t speak unless spoken to? Nam-Gyu is really curious about her and tries to be her friend. Over time, they slowly fall for each other in the games.👅

Nam-gyu is an addict, a drug addict to be specific. He and Thanos take a pill every day before leaving the room for the game. The duo is always seen laughing, jittery, and even dancing.
Y/N doesn’t get that at all. Her quiet nature helps her observe the other players and even the guards. She knows that getting attached to people here can lead to problems. It’s a matter of survival, and she’s willing to use everyone and anyone to get out of these games (that she agreed on, but let’s not talk about that).
While Nam-gyu is an idiot junkie, she catches his eye. Her number 123 on her jacket gives Nam-gyu the perfect opportunity to be close to her in the dorm room and especially during voting. Her red patch with the letter ‘X’ annoys the hell out of him, though.
The game ‘Six-Legged Pentathlon’ is troublesome for her. Her quiet and cold demeanor makes people around her avoid her at any cost. That is until a girl with short hair and piercings, accompanied by a timid guy, approaches her. “Would you like to be a member of our group?” the girl asks.
Y/N glances around, weighing her options carefully, and with a resigned nod, agrees.
“I’m Se-mi,” the girl nods her head to the side where the boy is anxiously looking at them. “This is Min-su.” The boy bows as a greeting. “What’s your name?” he asks, fiddling with his fingers.
Y/N raises an eyebrow, her face showing no other expression. She doesn’t have a chance to introduce herself, though, not when they are rudely interrupted by a purple-haired junkie named Thanos.
“Señorita, excuse me?” Se-mi and Min-su turn towards the guy, who has an arrogant and smug look on his face. His arms are crossed, and he tugs his jacket like he’s about to rap, which Y/N hopes he won't. She turns her attention to the guy beside the retired (failed) hip-hop rapper. He has long hair, and is jittery as always, following Thanos like a dog.
“We already asked someone else,” Se-mi says, turning back to the conversation. She just notices that Se-mi and Min-su have moved aside to reveal the girl.
“Two girls? Dude, we don’t know what the game is; this could be risky—” Nam-gyu starts, but Thanos puts a hand on his chest, interrupting him. “What’s your name?” Thanos asks Y/N.
She gives them a cold look, puts her hands in her jacket’s pockets, and sighs heavily. “Y/N.”
Thanos smiles. “What’s up? Nice to meet you, señorita. Welcome to the Thanos world.” He curls his index finger in front of Y/N, forcefully takes her right hand from her pocket, and daps her before giving her a shoulder bump. All the while, Y/N stands flabbergasted. “You’re cute, come on!” Thanos says, leading his group to one of the circles drawn on the floor.
Nam-gyu takes this opportunity to socialize with the quiet girl, who furrows her eyebrows at Thanos. “You are cute, he’s right.” Y/N raises an eyebrow at him, rolling her eyes before speeding up to sit beside Se-mi.
That was supposed to be the plan, but instead, she finds herself squished between the two junkies. One is quivering, and the other is doing some gun motions and muttering ‘bang, bang, bang.’
That was supposed to be the plan, instead she’s squished between the two junkies. One quivering, and the other… doing some gun motions and muttering ‘bang, bang, bang.’
・‥...━━━━━━☆☆━━━━━━...‥・
The journey back to the dorm room was silent with a few mumble by Thanos, the drugs wearing down. How did Y/N know? It’s because Nam-gyu kept pestering her with a serious look on his face, “Come on, you got to talk.”
Y/N sighed, speeding up her walk after seeing the door that leads to their sleeping quarters. Going to her bed, not noticing that Nam-gyu followed her like a dog, “Just talk. Give me something, anything.”
“Why are you so persistent?” Y/N groaned, glaring harshly at the guy who smiled widely.
“I did make you talk though.”
Y/N rolled her eyes but couldn't shake the small smile tugging her lips, “So annoying, go away!”
Nam-gyu shook his head, making his hair sway with his movement. “No.”
The girl stared at him blankly, turning her face away from him, not noticing the frown that set upon Nam-gyu's face. The latter held her cheeks, forcefully facing him again, “Don’t turn away from me.”
Y/N furrowed her eyebrows, taking Nam-gyu’s hand from her face and twisting it, making the guy wince, “Or what?”
Nam-gyu smiled but winced once more when the girl twisted his hand more, “You’re so pretty.” Y/N’s grip faltered, giving Nam-gyu the chance to escape from her grasp. The guy took her shock as an opportunity to lean closer to her face, “I think we’ll get along just fine.”
She laughed. And it sounded so beautiful in Nam-gyu’s ears that it made him smile after seeing hers. “I doubt that.”

“why’s my sufferin’ funny now? cold-hearted birdie,” billy grumbles, trying to pretend he’s genuinely offended by the comment. his efforts last less than two seconds — it’s impossible not to break character and laugh when lucy gray pokes his cheek. two dimples appearing on each side of his face, he doesn’t even try to wipe the greasy residue, too happy to care. “you’re makin’ me blush, rainbow princess.” there’s nothing but affection in his voice. a hand reaching across the table just to tap her cute nose. a prince! it’s the most meaningful compliment he’s ever received. if he allows himself to think about it, he’ll get emotional because knowing that he hasn’t, after all, let that little girl down is everything to him. “i love you.” it just rolls off his tongue and when he hears himself, he nearly drops his slice of pizza, turns bright red and adds, “my rainbow birdie best friend.” but it’s a weak attempt at saving his dignity and this afternoon. “that’s so true. baby billy would have loved boba tea.” edible orbeez! what child wouldn’t be fascinated by the concept? “ohh, dragon fruit! yes! let’s make it pretty!” he squeals, just trying to make her laugh but of course there’s a part of him that’s genuinely excited about the prospect. “i don’t know what you’re talking about. i only have one favorite. lucy gray baird. favorite singer? lucy gray baird. favorite disney princess? lucy gray baird. favorite supermodel? lucy gray baird.” he laughs when the napkin hits him, bouncing off his forehead and landing on the table. “we’ll just have it delivered to our doorstep then. whatever you want.” he takes another bite from his slice of pizza, his tastebuds melting at the familiar combination of flavors. he could eat at sal and carmine’s for the rest of his life and not once think he’s had enough. snickering as he watches her face turn cherry red, billy continues to chew on that gooey mozzarella but struggles to keep a straight face. he shrugs, swallows, and quietly explains, “‘cause it’s a boy thing. and you said weird as in boy weird. that’s the only thing i got and you don’t so it must be that.” it feels like he’s back in middle school, teasing her and trying not to laugh.
“why? are you bein’ jealous?” amusement lifting in her voice, arched brows perking. lucy gray having too much fun with this… finding thrill in that and wondering why he thinks other boys are going to fall in love with her so easily. “billy,” before she can protest for him to not do that, he doesn’t need to do all this work… he’s already off and she has no choice but to graciously accept. “orbeez…” a soft laugh emits, tapping at her chin, wiping off pizza sauce. “no, they pop on your tongue and the sweet flavor that comes after is really good. you can avoid them if you need to, though. but maybe we’ll stick to homemade smoothies today.” since she doesn’t want her hand to freeze off the entire way back to his apartment. “that so surprising? i did pick one.” lucy gray announces, playing dumb like she doesn’t know what he’s so surprised about. “yeah, it is. but what do i do when i get hungry again later?” amusingly laughing, already thinking about her stomach for later. “weird as in just… boy weird. but sometimes your fashion sense can be included. even if it’s cute at the same time.”

stubborn heart ch. 12

yan!capitano x wife!reader
summary | or in which capitano is told he needs a wife. and he begrudgingly agrees.
Tumblr media
Capitano held you close as he entered your shared home, his arms were tight around you as many of the maids and servants bowed. None of them daring to look up or even ask what happened to the others as the bloodstains on Capitano’s coat.
“Lord-“
With a single look, the servant had zipped his mouth shut. His form bowing impossibly lower as he didn’t dare to lift his gaze again. With that settled, Capitano went up the marbled steps.
“Do you wish for a bath?”
“Later,” you said quietly, “mmm just cold.”
“Then you should take one now.”
He didn’t have to look at you to know that you were close to pouting, but you didn’t argue as he finally brought you to your shared room. Then he walked to the joined bathroom and easily kicked the door open before walking you over to the sink and settling you upon it.
“Are you able to undress yourself?”
You nodded as he turned towards the bath to turn it on and get it ready for you. Taking that as a cue to get undressed, you got off the sink and shrugged your coat off first, and with careful practice you managed to unlace your dress and drop each article of clothing to the floor one by one before you were completely nude. Truthfully, you could still feel the embarrassment course through you, however, he has seen you naked before…
When he had turned to look at you, you saw how his head immediately snapped to the side.
“Husband?”
“You… need to give a man some warning next time.”
Wait- was he expecting you to undress when he left the bathroom?!
You wanted to hide your face, but before you could you felt his hands gently cradle your face. So you swallowed the embarrassment now as the bath behind him started to get hotter.
“Why did you… come save me?”
“Because you are my wife.”
“But I caused you trouble.”
“You did not.”
“I did.”
“You didn’t.”
He was firm as he got out of the way for you and dropped his hands from your face so one of his hands could grab your arm and help you into the tub. You tried not to splash any water, but some still got on the edges of his coat when you sunk into the tub.
You had more questions for him, but you doubted he would tell you. So instead, before he could leave, you called out to him.
“I know you told me not to expect anything but… you could join me… if you want.”
You could hear his footsteps stop in the doorway, and when you looked over your shoulder you could almost see how the wheels turned in his head, but…
“Maybe next time.”
You watched as he closed the bathroom door behind him which caused you to sigh. You don’t know if it was relief or something else, but you were glad either way. Truthfully, you didn’t know how you would react if he got in the tub with you. However, you do know how you feel since he didn’t… you raised a hand and pressed it against your chest. It hurt. He did say not to expect anything after all.
That same night, Capitano didn’t come to bed. Nor was he present in the morning or afternoon.
His absence would be a constant for the next two weeks which would leave you wondering… maybe you were too much trouble after all.
Atri was folding your laundry when she noticed your troubled expression. No matter how many books you tried to nose into, nothing would cure your sadness and she noticed.
“Did he not tell you where he was going?”
“No. Did he tell you?”
When you looked over at Atri, her face was everything you needed to know so you turned to her expectantly.
“He’s just on a mission, he’ll be back soon.”
You sighed and turned back to your book until you heard a bustle downstairs. Servants all running around as you turned to Atri and she smiled at you and motioned towards your bedroom door.
Almost excitedly you had tossed your book to your side of the bed and hurried to the front entrance as fast as you could. Capitano left so unexpectantly, so seeing him again was surely to put you in a better mood, right?
Though, the moment you got to the front door you had skidded to a stop. Your eyes were trying to figure out exactly what you were seeing.
Why was some random woman hanging off of Capitano’s arm?!

My Time
Trans masc reader x yandere batfam
Part 1 (here), Part 2
I’ve been getting into vocaloid songs, or like songs that use Teto and Miku’s voices. Anyways since I used to be really into Miku I wanted to use that cause well… What kind of person doesn’t love Miku?
I hope you guys like it. I think there’s some spelling mistakes or typos and if there is, sorry :P but otherwise I don’t got much to say! Good reading! It’s about 5.8k words! Yay!
Your mother, m/n was a beautiful woman. Strong, charming, and stubborn, at least that’s what your daddy said. And you might not remember mommy, but you trust daddy. He says that mommy loved you, that she loved you so much, but that she couldn’t come back. You didn’t really understand, not at the time. I mean how could a two-year-old grapple with the concept of death? However, even though your mom left, you weren’t lonely, you had daddy. Daddy wasn’t your real father, no, but he’s the one that’s been loving you and taking care of you. He’s the one that told you stories when you went to bed, tucked you in and kissed you good night. He held you when you were scared, cuddled you when you wanted love. He was everything you could ever want, he promised to stay with you till you got sick of him. He promised he’d be there for you no matter what.
You woke up for your first day of preschool, and when you go to look at your little froggy clock you saw that it was already 9 in the morning. You ran over to your daddy’s room excitedly chattering about how you were going to be late because of him which makes you giggle, because usually daddy would chastise and tease you about making them late. You open the door to find him still, there’s stab wounds all over his chest and dried blood all over the bed, his eyes are dull and lifeless and there’s bruises at his neck and wrists.
You shiver as a breeze comes through the open window. You stand there for a while, confused on what to do. There’s this bad feeling in your stomach but despite that you slowly approach the bed. You poke your dad and try to wake him up, you notice that he’s cold, daddy’s never cold. He’s always warm and comforting and perfect for cuddles. You start crying, not really knowing why. You climb up on the bed and curl up beside him. The sheets are crusty with blood and it feels all gross and but that doesn’t really matter to you right now. You just want to stay here with daddy.
You don’t know how long you’re there but at some point daddy’s phone rings. You stare at it, frozen in place before you climb down from the bed and go over to it. You pick up the phone and a woman says. “Hello! This is Thierry Preschool, we were wondering if your child y/n was still coming? It’s been about two hours since it started and we were just checking.”
You don’t know what to say to her. You fidget a bit before mumbling. “H-Hello. Daddy can’t come to the phone right now. Um. I’m scared. Daddy isn’t moving and there’s blood all over? That’s bad, right? Daddy’s cold and everything and -and I don’t know what to do!”
You start sniffling, on the verge of crying again as the person on the other line stays silent. She then gently and calmly says. “Honey, it’s going to be okay. Can you tell me where you live honey? Calm down and watch some TV or read a book, okay honey? Can you do that for me? Can you be strong for me?”
You sniffle and nod trying to get out a choked up “Yeah.” From your throat. You try your best to mumble out an address as she coos about how good of a job you’re doing and how she needs you to stay calm. Before she hangs up, she tells you that some nice men will come to pick you up and that you have to be good for them. You nod and mumble an okay. You go back to curl up against your daddy, you bury your face into his chest and whisper to him.
“People are coming. It’s okay daddy. We’ll be okay. I love you. You’ll wake up soon right? Please? I’ll be a good girl daddy I promise.”
The nice men come and they look at you and daddy with… An expression you’ve never seen before. It makes you feel worse. They try to tear you away from him but you hold onto daddy with a death grip while you scream and shout as they try to convince you to let go. You’re scared. You don’t wanna let him go. They eventually pry you away from him as you wail and try your best to wriggle out of their hold. After that, it’s a bit of a blur. You were wrangled into a police car as one of them sat in the backseat with you trying to calm you down.
You look out the window, watching as the officer drives through the streets, going through traffic. You’re escorted into a building and taken into a room where a police officer try to question you gently. However the next thing you know everything gets blurry, it’s hard to breathe and it feels like your insides are spiky. When you can breathe again some man with a scruffy face and blocky glasses is holding you close to his chest saying things like. “It’s okay, you’re alright.” And “Breathe, breathe for me.” You calm down, not because of his words, but because he looks a bit like dad. His scruffy face, his gentle smile, his dark green eyes. It makes you bury your face into the man’s chest and whisper out a small broken. “Don’t leave me.”
The next thing you can remember was the man carrying you around like a baby, mostly because even after the weird “panic attack” or whatever the police officer called it, you wouldn’t let go of him. Which made the man holding you look at you sadly. He gives in and instead of forcing you to let go and go back to doing work, he starts showing you all kinds of things, giving you a tour around the police station. You learn from one of the men that the guy holding you is named Commissioner Gordon. Weird name. It sounds kinda cool though.
Once you’ve fully calmed down he carries you over to where a nurse is and he distracts you by talking about dinosaurs which you excitedly listen to while they draw some blood to see if you’re healthy and to notify any blood relatives. Commie says you’re being a very good girl and that they’ll have results in less than an hour, he also asks if you’re hungry which you nod enthusiastically to. He then leaves to get you some chips and a donut from the break room. You’re about to start chowing down before Commie asks. “Hold on there kid, isn’t there something you need to say before eating?”
You stand there staring at him and then make an ‘Oh!’ face and say. “Thanks Commie!”
You don’t notice but as you start eating the donut that a couple of the police officers laugh while Commie cracks a smile and then huffs before saying. “Kid, Commissioner isn’t my first name. It’s Jim.”
You then absentmindedly say as you take another bite of the donut. “Oh. Okay Jimmy.”
One of the guards starts laughing again and this time even Jimmy chuckles. However someone comes in and whispers to Jimmy and he then turns back to the person as they whisper to each other. Another officer takes it upon himself to distract and picks you up before throwing you up into the air and catching you. Making you giggle and ask for more. Jimmy approaches again and he subtly asks the officer distracting you to put you down. Jimmy takes a knee looking at you at eye level and hesitates before saying. “We… Found some people you’re… Related to. We called them up and asked if they’d take you in, and he said yes. Do you know Bruce Wayne? He’s your daddy-“
You immediately interrupt him saying. “But I already have a daddy. I don’t need another one-“
Jimmy interrupts you trying to gently say. “I’m sorry. But.. Your daddy… He can’t take care of you anymore-“
“What do you mean? Why? Can’t you help him? I’ve been waiting and being a good girl! Does daddy not want me anymore?”
“Honey-“
“No! I’ve been good! Daddy said he’d stay with me! He promised, h-he-“
Jimmy interrupts with a firm call of your name which makes you stop. He puts a hand on your shoulder and brings you into a hug as he gently says to you. “I’m sorry. He’s gone.” As those words tumble out of his mouth you tear up again and you raise your arms to cling on to him for dear life. You bawl and hiccup and he’s there to take all of your anger, your sadness until you’ve calmed down again. He pulls away from you and tries to talk to you, but you’re tired. You’re sad, you don’t have the energy to talk. He sighs and then holds your hand and guides you to a bench, he pats your head and says. “How about you wait here? Since your room is not exactly under investigation I could maybe swipe some things for you? Do you have a favorite toy or picture I can get for you?”
You wait trying to think about what you would want from your room. You think of your little stuffed owl that daddy named Oliver and your stuffed cat you named Oliver 2. You want the picture on your nightstand of you, mommy and daddy. You want the special night light daddy made for you. You want your dinosaur pjs daddy got for your birthday, you try your best to relay this Jimmy but all that comes out are little mumbles and whimpers.
He sighs and says with a small smile. “Tell ya what kid, when you go stay with da- Bruce. Why don’t you have him send an email or make him call us about what you want from home. And I’ll get those things for you. How does that sound kid?”
You look up at him, slowly and you hesitantly nod. He ruffles your head and with a smile and says. “‘Atta girl!”
Which makes you smile a bit before your face going blank. He sighs at that and says. “Someone’ll be here to pick you up shortly. And-“
You hear someone running and turn to look where it’s coming from. You see some guy comes running and stops in front of you. He heaves as he holds something familiar under his arm. After he catches his breath he smiles at you before handing you the thing under his arm. A stuffed owl which you immediately recognize as Oliver. He winks at you and then crouches down to your height as he says.
“Hey kid, my name’s Ethan Bennett. Man, you are like a carbon copy of Bruce. Well, except for your eyes, yours are e/c and a lot softer. Shit, where do I even start. Uh, Oh! I’m your uncle, well, not your actual uncle but like, you can consider me as one. I’m a detective under Commissioner Gordon. I’m also your dad’s best friend, I’m not the one here to pick you up, I’m actually still on the clock but uh. This guy,” He says as he holds up Oliver with a smug smile. “Said that he needed to get to you. So I did him a favor. Just… Don’t tell anyone.”
You take Oliver from his hand and while Jimmy and Uncle Bennett argue you start to tear up again. You hug Oliver tight burying your face in his soft downy chest. Then looking up at Uncle Bennett, you quietly say. “Thank you.” Which he pauses the argument for, before smiling down at you. “You’re welcome, kid. Say how about I wait with you huh? I could show you pictures of your daddy-“
You immediately interrupt. “Not my daddy.”
Ethan looks a bit confused at that, and looks to Jimmy for an explanation. Jimmy shrugs and motions for Uncle Bennett to continue. “Should I call him your dad?”
You nod, confirming that dad is an acceptable choice of words. He chuckles and then continues. “How about I show you pictures of him. So we can.. Condition you to him like a cat.”
You see Jimmy smack Uncle Bennett’s bald head which makes you giggle as Uncle tries to defend himself saying. “What? It’s true! I mean, he’s a big guy, he’s probably gonna scare her. I mean unless you know him, he looks pretty scary. And look at her.”
Uncle says as he gestures to you with both hands. “She’s barely what 4? 5? She looks like a sad wet kitten, Bruce looks like that evil grey bird that looks like it eats puppies compared to her.”
You tilt your head at that. There’s an evil bird? Your father looks like a bird? What does that mean? Your uncle is weird maybe you can get a different one. Jimmy seems like he’d be a good uncle.
They start arguing again and you go back to sit on the bench as they argued. You hold Oliver tightly in your hands and wait, you see them stop arguing with both of them leaving you to wait alone. Or at least that’s what you thought would happen. Until uncle Bennett comes back with some files in hand and some markers and pencils in the other. He sits next to you and says. “Well, I couldn’t get out of work early, but he never said I couldn’t work while I waited with you.”
You smile at him and scooch closer to him as he chuckles. And so the two of you wait. And wait. And wait some more. By 5 you then see an man that looks kinda like a butler being escorted by an officer. You tug on uncle Bennet’s dress shirt before asking. “What do you think he’s in for?”
He looks at you confused before looking up, you see his eyes widen and he starts to burst into laughter. Both the officer and fancy man look confused, and well, so are you.
Your eyes meet with the fancy man’s and his eyes widen and his pupils shrink in shock. He then schools his expression and looks at you with a smile, you shift in your seat feeling a bit uncomfortable with the look in his eyes. The fancy man walks up to you and crouches to your level, he then gently says to you.
“Hello. You must be y/n. My name is Alfred Pennyworth, I’m the butler for the Wayne family. I apologize but your father is not able to pick you up since-“
“What? Alfred what do you mean-“
Then Alfred and uncle Bennett starts talking and kinda arguing. You couldn’t care less though, you have Oliver now! You smile and nuzzle into Oliver’s fluffy chest and then squeeze the little speaker in its wing which plays a recording of your daddy humming his lullaby and then saying. “I love you my little Bubo.” You hold it closer and whisper into its fur. “I love you too daddy.” You hear uncle Bennett’s and Alfred’s argument start to quiet down and you catch uncle saying.
“-how he treats his other kid? Look, even if there was an emergency-“
Alfred sighs as he replies. “No, he does not treat master Dick like this, look. I’m not going to make excuses for him. Master Bruce had his phone on silent for a meeting and so he wasn’t able to answer, then there was Penguin who tried to steal some kind of tech there and you know how they have to follow protocol and whatnot-“
You sigh and look up at Alfred while tugging at his pant leg. They both look down at you and you just ask. “I’m tired. And hungry. I wanna go home. Can you take me home?”
They both look at each other nervously and Alfred takes a breath and says. “I apologize Miss y/n. But, you cannot go home. I understand this is hard for you, and you don’t understand what’s going on. But I, your father and your brother will take care of you. You have my word.”
You want to argue, you wanna fight and yell and say the bad words that your daddy says by accident sometimes. But you’re so small, well, at least you feel small. You’ve never felt this small, well you have, but daddy was there to hug and comfort you. As you look at Alfred, you wish something, anything would just leave your math. Instead all you can say is. “Okay. But I want warm honeyed milk and a bed time story.”
Alfred chuckles at that and nods. You don’t understand why is he laughing, You are completely serious, if you do not have your drink you will throw a tantrum. It’s the least this mysterious man can do after saying that. Alfred, then follows Ethan to go get the paperwork to take you out of the police station and to claim legal rights over you. Meanwhile you tell Oliver about your day, about the scary things that happened. You look at Oliver’s beady eyes and whisper. “I hope my dad likes me. Daddy says I’m a good girl so they’ll like me, I know they will. And even if they don’t, daddy says that some people are just stupid and dumb and don’t deserve to be your friends.”
Alfred comes back with a thick folder of paperwork which you frown at, you don’t like paper. It makes the people you like busy, specifically daddy. You hate when daddy has paperwork. You then look up to Alfred and tug on his pant leg as you whisper up to him. “Do you hate paperwork too?”
He raises an eyebrow at you with a little smile on his face, he takes your hand and starts to lead you out of the police station as you two start to converse. You talk to him about anything that comes to mind. From what you think of paperwork to which Hercules beetle you love the most, to how you peed your pants at the aquarium while you were out in the play area. Alfred had to contain his laughter as you described all of the kids started crying, including you. Finally you arrive at this big building and you look up at it in awe, you then look around at the courtyard and the scary but pretty style of the building. You look up to Alfred and say. “This is like, a bajillion times bigger than my home!”
Before Alfred can stop you, you start running off to the front door giggling and squealing as Alfred tries to catch you. After a few minutes of expertly dodging and wiggling out of his hold like some slippery snake. He catches you and then throws you under his arm which you make a little ‘oof’ sound at.
Alfred then takes you through the foyer and after going through some hallways, which you don’t keep track of, you get to the kitchen. He sits you down at a stool by the kitchen island and says. “Don’t go running off miss y/n we wouldn’t want you to get lost after all.” You sigh and then nod before you stretch and yawn.
Someone comes into the kitchen and says. “Hello Alfred, who’s the kid?” You look at the person talking and see a guy that looks around Alfred’s age and a some teenager following behind him. You try to get off from the stool, now bored out of your mind as Alfred talks to the other man while the teen notices you and goes over to help. He takes you off the stool and says. “What’s your name?”
You look at him dead in the eyes and then slap his thigh and say. “Tag!” You start booking it as you giggle, your game of tag now in session. The teen looks at you with wide eyes and starts to chase after you. Realizing that it was a mistake putting you on the ground. You go into a room and find that it’s a bedroom, you giggle as you put a pillow under the covers to trick the boy and then get under the bed.
He comes rushing in saying. “Hey, this isn’t funny. Come on, if you come out I’ll… uh, get Alfred to make you cookies? I don’t know. Uh, just come out. I’d rather not have Mr. Wayne or my dad scold me about letting some kid loose in the manor.”
He then sees the trap you laid out for him and as soon as he gets close to the bed you shoot your hands out to grab at his ankles, which makes him scream like a girl and practically jump away like some spider or grasshopper. You start giggling maniacally as he falls on to his butt. You then come out from under the bed as you say. “I got you!” In a sing songy voice as you sit next to him. The teen sighs and stands up, he dusts himself off and says. “Yeah you got-“ and then ambushes you by picking you up from your armpits and says. “Hah! In your face!”
You giggle some more as you whine “No” trying to wiggle out of the teen’s hold. After you calm down you look up at him and ask. “Hi! What’s your name?”
He replies with a small smirk saying. “I’m Luke Fox. And you? What’s your name you little rascal?”
You grin widely, like the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland and say. “Y/n! And my last name is l/n! Nice to meet you!”
He smiles back and then holds you to his chest and starts to walk back to the kitchen as he says. “So… Bruce Wayne’s kid huh? I can tell. You look a lot like him. A lot smaller and cuter, but still.”
Your mischievous smile disappears and you instead, bury your face into his chest as you reply. “Yeah. Uncle Bennett said that too. I don’t care, I just want my daddy back.”
Luke looks at you a bit confused and then you explain to him what happened today. All the way from the moment you woke up to just right now. At some point during your retelling of the accounts of today, he stops walking leaving you two just standing in the middle of some hallway. After you finished he looks at you with the same expression those police officers that found you had, the same sad expression that Jimmy and Uncle tried to hide as well. You don’t like how it feels to be looked at like this. It makes your chest kinda heavy and your stomach weird. Luke holds you closer, staying silent for a bit before saying. “My mom makes me this really bomb ass hot cho- Shit I said a- Dammit! Fuck!”
When Luke groans at himself for cussing in front of a literal child you start to giggle. You smile and then tap his shoulder before whispering into his ear. “Daddy swears a lot too. Don’t worry, I won’t tell. Pinky swear!” As she raises her hand and pinky so they can swear on it together.
He chuckles and pinky swears with you, not long after you two enter the kitchen, with you still in his arms. You see that neither the man or Alfred noticed you or Luke were gone. You couldn’t care less however. At least you made your first friend. You then see someone else some into the kitchen, he’s tall and… Wow. He really does look like you. You wriggle in Luke’s arms, telling him to let you down. Meanwhile Bruce, the person people keep talking about, your supposed father, walks past you and Luke. His focus is on Alfred and Luke’s dad, Luke finally lets you down after teasing you a bit more and you slowly walk over to Bruce. You stare at his face as he talks to the other two men, he had the same spiky eyebrows as you. You’ve never seen someone with the same eyebrows as you.
You shift nervously before patting your clothes and hair down before tugging on his pant leg. You look up at him with a small hopeful smile. Bruce looks down at you and his eyes widen impossibly before he schools his face before giving you a smile, he opens his mouth to say something but you interrupt. “Hello! I am y/n l/n. We look alike! I like your eyes. They look like how mint tastes. Why are you so big? Will I get that big? Do you think I’ll be taller than you?”
He looks at you strangely, a bit surprised and a bit… Something else? Whatever it is it makes you kinda feel bad and you don’t like that. You fidget as he turns his attention towards Luke’s dad and Alfred. Talking about something else again. You look back at Luke and he looks a bit confused and slightly agitated, he then fixes his face and smiles at you before walking over and saying. “He’s probably just tired or something. How about I make something for you? Sandwich maybe?”
You nod and follow him to the fridge as you look through everything. He shows you some some sandwich ingredients taking the time to show you each one and answering your questions about it. He then makes the sandwich for you, although he’s slightly cringing as you bite into your “abomination sandwich”. Which is what he called your delicious sandwich, and is definitely NOT an abomination. You’re eating at the little island on the stool that’s as big as you and you see another kid walk in. He has black hair and pretty blue eyes, you wave hi and he looks at you confused and a bit judgmental. The kid then asks you. “Who are you?”
You answer back. “Y/n. What’s your name?”
“None of your business.” He replies in a snarky tone.
You look at him, surprised and then glare at him, before you can snap back Luke says. “That’s Dick. He’s gonna be your brother. Kinda. Also, come on Dick. Be nicer.”
Dick huffs and and grumbles “Fine.” before he goes over to the fridge to look through it. He gasp, offended by something. He then glares at you and asks. “Did you finish all the prosciutto? I was gonna have that as a snack, I was saving it for a good day!”
Before Luke can apologize for you, you look at Dick and say. “Well maybe you should’ve had a note on it or something! This is my first day here! I don’t know you people!”
Dick looks you up and down and then marches up to where you’re sitting and nabs half of your sandwich and takes a bite, it only takes a moment before he’s sputtering and coughing because of the overly salty and spicy sandwich. You look on with both anger and slight satisfaction, angry he stole your sandwich and satisfied that he’s in pain. Luke tries to hide a smile as he turns away and hides his trembling mouth with his hand.
The adults then turn to look at you three, wondering what the commotion is. Alfred sighs and goes over to try and calm down Dick while Bruce looks at you disapprovingly. You look at Bruce, offended and stick your tongue and blow a raspberry at him before going back to your sandwich, tearing into the sandwich like you were a hyena and the sandwich was your carcass. Luke chuckles at that before saying. “Come on, don’t be mean. He’s only had Dick for what? Less than a month?”
You look at Luke with appalled face and say. “He isn’t even a real dad?!”
Bruce sighs as he looks down and asks Alfred. “So? What’s the situation with her? And have you-“
You can see Luke looks at Bruce with a weird face, something like a cross of disappointment and disgust before turning to you, and using his body to cover your view of almost everyone in the room. He then says. “Hey, how about we go to the living room? I’ll take you there. We could watch a movie or something? Oh, my dad showed me this movie called Totoro. Or something, you look like you’d live it! Let’s see if I can-“
He starts talking idly, as if to fill in space. When your finished with your sandwich he takes you off the chair and hurriedly walks you out of the kitchen and into the living room. He has you sit close to him so you two could watch it on his phone. You barely get through the first half before his dad comes over to say. “Come on, Luke. It’s time for us to go.” Luke tries to ask for a bit more time. He nudges your shoulder and whispers. “Hey, do some puppy eyes come on.”
What the hell are puppy eyes, you think to yourself before tilting your head at him like a puppy. Luke’s dad rolls his eyes with an affectionate look on his face before saying. “It’s a school night kid. Plus, your mom would kill me if I let you stay out past curfew again.”
Luke throws his head back groans dramatically before saying. “All my other friends can stay out past 8-“
“Well I’m not their parents am I? I’m yours. Now I’ll be waiting in the car for you.” Luke’s dad then turns to you and ruffles your hair before saying. “It was nice to meet you little one. Have a good night.”
You nod at him, and the man nods back before going over to the coatrack, getting his coat and leaving. Luke looks at you with a small pout on his face he sighs before ruffling your hair too, which makes you smile. He then gets up with a groan, just like daddy does. You follow as he also goes to get his coat and hat he then puts on his stuff and says. “Guess I gotta go… Have a goodnight y/n. Take care of yourself.”
He then gives you a hug before leaving. You yell after him. “Good night Luke! Sleep well!”
He smiles at that and waves at you before getting into his dad’s car, driving off and leaving you in the manor. You go back inside and go back to the living area where you see Alfred. You walk up to him and tilt your head like a curious puppy, waiting for him to announce his intentions. Alfred smiles before he says. “I came to inform you that I have gotten your room ready. On another note, it is time for you to go to bed young lady.”
You put up a hand and in a serious tone of voice you say. “No. You must have forgotten our deal. I want a hot chocolate, a fancy one with cinnamon, heavy cream.”
Alfred raises an eyebrow and asks. “Really? If I recall our agreement was that I’d make you honeyed milk. How strange. I suppose I should get rid of the honeyed milk that I put in your room then?”
You vehemently shake your head and say. “N-No! That’s fine! I’ll drink it! It’s mine! You can’t take it back!”
Alfred then lets out a hum of consideration. “If you say so. Now come along. I must tuck you in before the hour.”
This man speaks funny. You like it. You then try to imitate him using the fanciest words you know, like anemone and hypertension. He laughs but you’re not sure whether it’s because of the accent or because you probably used the words wrong. Anyways he brings you to your new room and you gasp at how big it is, you hurriedly take off your shoes and put them right next to the door before you run straight for the bed and climb on to it, it’s so soft!
You then notice the hot milk on the bedside table, you crawl over and sit on the edge of the bed so you can take a sip. You sigh in delight at the taste, the milk is nice and creamy with a hint of vanilla and cinnamon as well as some honey to make it sweet. You yawn and get off the bed so you can walk over to Alfred. “Thank you, it’s really yummy. Can I have some pajamas now? I’m sleepy and so is Oliver-“
You then realize that you don’t have Oliver in your arms, and you can’t remember where you put him. Your eyes become blurry as tears fill your vision, you look up at Alfred and whine. “Where’s Oliver? I can’t remember where he is.. Can you help me find him?”
Alfred opens his mouth to say something but a beep comes from his phone, he sighs and says. “I will bring him soon, just lie down and-“
You interrupt him saying. “No! He’s always there when I sleep! I need him, if my daddy isn’t gonna be here then I need Oliver to be here at least!” You don’t like how Alfred is trying to hurry things up. You don’t like that daddy’s not here, you don’t like how Oliver’s not here, you hate that your favorite people are leaving and you HATE everything about this day. Sure you met new and nice people, but you want Daddy. You want him to kiss your face and tickle your tummy and hug you. You start sobbing and pulling on your h/c hair and trying your best to not choke on air.
Alfred looks at you sadly and then sighs, he then gets on one knee and says. “Miss y/n. Please stop. I will get Oliver for you, I will be right back. I promise. I will return with your dear Oliver and some old pajamas.”
You look back at him and nod as you sniffle. You sit on your bed and sip on your warm milk while Alfred leaves to go get Oliver and some pajamas. You wait, and wait. and wait some more. But he never comes. You accidentally fall asleep, finished with your drink and more tired than you’ve ever felt. That’s when you realized, no one’s gonna take care of you like daddy, no one’s gonna tuck you in, kiss your tears away, or any of the other things he used to do. You curl up and cry softly in the early morning light, mourning the loss of your father. Something that you didn’t know was possible until it happened.

I hope you like it! I already have the next few chapters planned so it will be angst for the next 3 or 4 chapters :)))

The floor was cold beneath her. She had been sitting here for hours, unmoving, staring at the dark stain on the ground—the only thing left of you.
They had taken your body away, sealed you in one of those black and pink coffins, stuffed you into a furnace like you were nothing. Like you never mattered.
But you did.
You were everything.
Se-mi dug her nails into her palms, jaw clenched so tight she thought her teeth might crack. She could still hear your voice. That final, broken whisper.
“Get out of here… for me… okay?”
But how could she?
How could she leave when the last place you existed was right here?
Her mind was fraying at the edges, unraveling thread by thread, a gnawing, maddening rage eating away at her insides. And beneath it all, a thought burned like fire—
“This is my fault.”
If she hadn’t left. If she had just stayed. Maybe she could’ve taken the hit instead. Maybe she could have stopped it from happening.
But she didn’t.
And now you were gone.
Se-mi exhaled a shaky breath, dragging her fingers through her tangled hair. Her eyes were hollow, ringed with exhaustion and something feral.
She knew who did it.
Nam Gyu.
That smug bastard had always had it out for both of you, spitting insults, pushing buttons, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. And he had taken his chance the second the lights went out, leaving your body crumpled and bleeding on the floor.
He left you there to die because he killed you.
Se-mi’s fingers twitched.
She wasn’t stupid. She knew nothing would bring you back.
But she could make sure he never walked away from this either.
The announcement rang through the room.
“Player 381 eliminated.”
Y/n was dead. Another body burned. Another pile of money added to the piggy bank.
Everyone moved on.
Se-mi didn’t.
She watched her die. Watched the number disappear.
And then she knew.
Tonight, it was over for Nam gyu.
The others had gone to sleep, exhaustion keeping them in their beds despite the horrors of the last few days. But Se-mi was wide awake.
She stood over his bed, her gaze sharp and empty, her fingers curling around the metal fork she had swiped earlier. Her breathing was slow, steady.
This was it.
She moved with eerie silence, lowering herself onto his bed, hovering above him.
Then—
BOOM.
The pillow pressed over his face before he could even make a sound. His body jerked beneath her, limbs flailing, trying to shove her off. But she was ready.
The first stab went into his stomach.
The second into his chest.
The third—his hand.
Every wound a reflection of what he did to you.
She didn’t stop.
Didn’t stop when his blood splattered across her face.
Didn’t stop when his body convulsed beneath her.
Didn’t stop when his muffled screams turned into choked gasps, then silence.
Even when she knew he was gone, she kept going, blade plunging into him again, again, again.
Until there was nothing left.
Nothing but a corpse.
Nothing but the suffocating, crushing weight in her chest.
Blood dripped from her hands, soaked into her clothes.
She should’ve felt something.
Relief. Satisfaction.
But all she felt was empty.
Her hands trembled as she backed away from the bed, heart hammering, breath ragged.
And then—
“Do it Se-mi.”
She froze.
That voice.
Her head snapped up, eyes darting across the room.
And there you were.
Standing in the shadows, your silhouette cast against the wall.
“Do it. Kill yourself.”
Se-mi’s breath hitched. Her vision blurred, her chest tightening.
“We can finally be together if you do it. You can’t live without me can you?”
Tears welled in her eyes.
No.
No, she couldn’t.
You were everything.
She took a step forward, reaching out taking your hand, taking her to where you died.
“Pick it up Se-mi.”
Her gaze fell to the ground.
The glass shard.
The same one Nam Gyu had driven into your body.
Her fingers curled around it, lifting it, the weight of it familiar, cold.
Her whole body shook as she brought it to her chest, right above her heart.
Her breathing steadied.
She closed her eyes.
“We can finally be together Y/N.”
And then—
The glass plunged into her heart.
A sharp, piercing pain spread through her chest, but she barely registered it. Her body swayed, blood dripping from her lips.
She smiled.
She could almost see you now.
Waiting for her.
The room spun.
Her knees buckled.
She collapsed onto the cold, bloodstained floor.
Her vision dimmed.
And then—
Darkness.
The morning announcement rang loud and clear.
“Player 380 and Played 124 has been eliminated.”
The guards moved efficiently, lifting her lifeless body and placing it into a pink coffin.
Another two numbers gone.
Another pile of money added.
And the games continued.
As if nothing ever happened.
As if you, Se-mi, and Nam gyu never existed at all.

The way back to the cabin felt endless. You wrapped the towel around your body so tightly that your fingers hurt, trying to keep your breathing steady. Min Ho's kiss still burned on your lips, like an impossible-to-ignore burn.
When you entered the room where you were sleeping with Yuri and Juliana, they were both fast asleep. You climbed under the blankets, but sleep didn’t come. Only the memory of Min Ho, his intense gaze, his voice whispering words that should never have been said.
"What about what I feel? Or what you feel?"
You squeezed your eyes shut. None of that mattered. It couldn’t matter.
...
The first rays of light filtered through the windows when you finally decided to get up. You went downstairs to the kitchen and found your friends already gathered. Yuri and Juliana were serving themselves coffee, Q and Dae were discussing a board game, and Stella was hugging Min Ho, resting her head on his shoulder as she looked at her phone.
Your stomach twisted.
"Look who decided to show up!" Yuri exclaimed with a smile. "We almost let you sleep, but Min Ho insisted we wake you up."
Your eyes quickly went to him, and you found him staring at you intently. He didn’t say anything, but there was something unsettling in his expression.
"Thanks for the gesture," you responded, pretending indifference as you grabbed a cup of coffee.
You tried to stay occupied during breakfast, participating in the conversation as little as possible. However, every time you looked up, you found Min Ho watching you, even when Stella was talking to him.
And then, Stella spoke.
"Since the snowstorm has passed, we could take a walk to the lake," she suggested excitedly. "It’s not too cold, and the view must be incredible with all the snow piled up."
"Sounds like a great idea," Q said, stretching.
"Hope you all have good shoes," Dae joked. "I don’t want to be the one carrying anyone if they slip."
"You say that as if you won’t be the first one to fall," Juliana retorted with a smile.
Amidst laughter, the group prepared to leave.
You tried to convince yourself that it was just a walk. There was nothing wrong with that.
Except Min Ho was there. Except every time Stella held his hand, your chest tightened.
The path was beautiful, surrounded by snow-covered trees. The cold air helped clear your mind a little, but not enough.
Min Ho walked ahead, alongside Stella. She was animatedly talking about something on her phone, while he simply nodded, not too interested.
"He’s looking at you again," Yuri whispered beside you.
"What?"
"Min Ho. He hasn’t stopped looking at you since we left the cabin."
You quickly shook your head. "That’s your imagination."
"Uh-huh." Yuri gave you a look of *don’t lie to me*. "Something happened last night in the hot tub, right?"
You almost choked on the air. "No! Why would you say that?"
"Because I know you. And because he looks at you like you’ve killed his dog and at the same time like he wants to kiss you again."
"Yuri," you warned, feeling your cheeks burn.
"I won’t say anything," she promised with a mischievous grin. "But you have to tell me later."
Before you could respond, Min Ho stopped and announced:
"I’m going to look for more firewood for the bonfire tonight."
"Do you want me to come with you?" Stella asked.
"No, stay here. It won’t take long."
Your heart stopped for a second.
"I’ll... take a walk," you said to Yuri and Juliana, quickly walking away before anyone could ask questions.
You followed the path Min Ho had taken, the sound of snow crunching under your boots. You found him a few minutes later, picking up some fallen branches.
When he saw you, he dropped the firewood and crossed his arms.
"I knew you’d come."
You rolled your eyes. "Don’t think you’re that important."
Min Ho let out a low laugh, but his gaze was serious.
"Are you going to keep pretending nothing happened?"
You took a breath. "I don’t want to talk about it."
"Well, I do."
His tone was different. It wasn’t the usual arrogance, nor his playful tone. It was deeper. More real.
"You kissed me last night," he said firmly.
You clenched your jaw. "It was a mistake."
"It wasn’t."
"Yes, it was," you insisted, your chest burning.
Min Ho took a step toward you. "Tell me you didn’t feel anything."
"Min Ho…"
"Say it."
You clenched your fists. You couldn’t. You couldn’t tell him that because it would be a lie.
"You have a girlfriend," you reminded him.
"I know."
"Then this is over."
He took a deep breath. "I’m going to break up with Stella."
Your eyes widened with surprise and fear.
"You can’t do that."
"Why not?"
"Because she doesn’t deserve that," you said, your voice trembling. "I don’t want to be the reason for that."
Min Ho ran a hand through his hair, frustrated. "You’re not."
"Of course I am," you insisted. "If it weren’t for me, you wouldn’t even be thinking about this."
Min Ho shook his head. "No. This was happening before. Stella is amazing, but she’s not…"
He stopped, but you understood what he didn’t say.
"She’s not you."
Your chest ached.
"Min Ho, don’t do this. Don’t complicate things more than they already are."
"And what do you want me to do? Stay with her just because it’s the right thing?"
"Yes," you said, even though every part of you screamed no.
He stood in silence, watching you.
"Leave me alone, Min Ho."
The words came out before you could stop them.
Min Ho blinked, as if you had slapped him.
"Is that what you want?"
You nodded, your heart breaking in your chest.
He pressed his lips together, then nodded stiffly.
"I understand," he murmured.
He picked up the firewood and started walking back to the cabin without looking back.
You stood there, with the snow gently falling around you, feeling like you had just lost something you would never have again.

The morning of his wedding arrived draped in warm light, the sun rising over the cliffs of Casterly Rock, casting long shadows through the grand halls. It was a beautiful day, the kind that should mark the beginning of something joyful. But for Jaime Lannister, there was no joy to be found.
The servants had already begun their work—preparing the Great Hall for the feast, polishing the floors until they gleamed, dressing the walls with the sigils of both Lannister and Stark. It was a grotesque display, he thought, a spectacle of unity that was built on blood and betrayal.
And soon, you would be wearing Lannister colors.
Jaime stood before the tall mirror in his chambers, staring at his own reflection as the attendants adjusted the golden clasps on his ceremonial tunic. Crimson and gold, lined with embroidery so fine it could only be Lannister work. They draped the heavy cloak over his shoulders, fastening it with a roaring lion at his collar.
He looked the part. He looked like the heir to Casterly Rock. Like the man his father always wanted him to be.
And yet, he had never felt more hollow.
Kevan entered without knocking, his presence calm but expectant. "You’re nearly ready."
Jaime gave a humorless chuckle. "Ready? Is that what we’re calling it?"
Kevan sighed, stepping forward. "I know this isn’t what you envisioned for yourself."
Jaime turned, tilting his head. "Oh? And what exactly did I envision, Uncle?" He gestured vaguely with his golden hand. "Living out my days with a sword in my grip and the taste of battle on my tongue? Sworn to a king I didn’t respect and a cause I didn’t believe in?" His voice was quiet, bitter. "Or did you mean the part where I spend a lifetime bound to a woman who despises me?"
Kevan studied him carefully. "You made your choice, Jaime."
Jaime let out a slow breath. "I did. But it has become twisted."
His uncle’s expression remained unreadable. "You picked her yourself and your father has ensured that this union secures the North. This marriage isn’t just about you, and it’s certainly not about her. It’s about legacy. Power. Stability."
Jaime exhaled sharply, turning back toward the mirror. "And what if I don’t care about any of that? What if I care only about her."
Kevan sighed. "Then you are more foolish than I thought."
Jaime clenched his jaw. He had known this conversation was coming—had known his uncle would try to reason with him, to remind him of his duty. It was the Lannister way.
But duty meant nothing when all he could think about was the look in your eyes last night. The way you had pleaded with him. The way you had broken in his arms.
"She hates me," Jaime muttered under his breath.
Kevan didn’t deny it.
"She will learn to accept it," was all his uncle said.
Jaime turned toward him, his expression cold. "Like Cersei accepted Robert?"
For the first time, Kevan faltered. His lips pressed into a thin line, but he didn’t speak.
Jaime scoffed. "That’s what I thought."
He dismissed the attendants with a wave of his hand, his mind still swirling. Once they were gone, he turned to Kevan again. "And what of Robb Stark?"
Kevan's brows furrowed. "Why do you ask?"
Jaime took a step forward, voice lowering. "Because she will ask about him more. Because she will never forgive me if I keep lying to her."
Kevan's gaze darkened. "Then perhaps you shouldn’t have told her anything at all."
Jaime’s hands curled into fists. "That wasn’t an option."
Kevan regarded him for a long moment before shaking his head. "You should count yourself fortunate, Jaime. Most men don’t get to choose their fate. Your father has given you a gift—a new beginning."
Jaime let out a hollow laugh. "A new beginning?" He turned away, staring out the window toward the sea. "Feels more like an ending."
Kevan watched him for a moment longer before sighing. "Get dressed. The ceremony begins soon."
Jaime didn’t reply, and his uncle left without another word.
For a long time, Jaime stood there, staring at the crashing waves below, feeling more like a prisoner in his own home than he ever had before.
He had never been afraid of battle. Never feared death. But today, as he prepared to stand before the gods and bind himself to you, he realized he was terrified.
Not of the vows. Not of the responsibilities.
But of the fact that for the first time in his life, he wanted something—someone—he could never truly have.
Tumblr media
The hall was suffocating.
The towering golden pillars, the vast ceilings carved with Lannister pride, the flickering candlelight—it was meant to be grand, magnificent, a display of power. But to Jaime, it felt more like a tomb.
He stepped through the great doors, his crimson cloak trailing behind him, every step heavy with the weight of expectation. The gathered lords and ladies of the Westerlands stood as he entered, their murmurs dying down to a hush. His uncle was already seated at the high table, his expression unreadable, his cold eyes watching every move.
But Jaime wasn’t looking at him.
His eyes found you.
You stood at the altar, waiting, a prisoner in Lannister gold.
You were beautiful. Gods, you were beautiful. And yet, there was something tragic about the way you held yourself—rigid, unyielding, as if your entire body were resisting what was about to happen.
The gown they had put you in was elegant, finely woven with golden embroidery that shimmered in the candlelight. The delicate fabric should have made you look soft, regal, but it did the opposite. It made you look like something gilded, something owned.
Jaime hated it.
Your hands were clasped together in front of you, your jaw tight, your chin lifted in quiet defiance. Even now, even in the moment where you were supposed to be bound to him, you refused to break.
But when your eyes met his, Jaime felt his breath leave him.
Because for the briefest of moments, it wasn’t you looking at him.
It was Eddard Stark.
The same quiet fury. The same unwavering resolve. The same disappointment.
Jaime swallowed hard, his fingers flexing at his sides. He had always hated the way Ned Stark looked at him, as though Jaime were nothing but a dishonorable oathbreaker, a man without honor.
And now, standing before you, he realized he had done something even worse.
He had stolen a Stark from her pack.
His chest tightened painfully as he took another step forward, forcing himself to hold your gaze. You didn’t look away, didn’t flinch, but there was something in your eyes—something raw, something breaking—that made Jaime feel as though he had just been cleaved in two.
Bronn stood off to the side, watching, his usual smirk replaced with something unreadable. The Lannister guards flanked you, ensuring you didn’t run again, their presence an unspoken threat.
She is here against her will.
She is being forced into this.
And I am the one standing beside her.
Jaime tore his gaze from yours, looking down at the stone floor, at the way the candlelight cast shadows against it.
Jaime wished he could be someone else.
“Take your place,” came the High Septon’s voice, solemn and expectant.
Jaime forced himself to move, each step toward you heavier than the last.
When he reached your side, he saw the way your hands trembled slightly, though your expression remained cold, impassive. You looked straight ahead, refusing to acknowledge him.
Jaime exhaled slowly, so quietly only you could hear.
“I’m sorry,” he murmured under his breath.
You stiffened.
Then, ever so slightly, you turned your head, just enough to look at him out of the corner of your eye.
And when you did, Jaime saw it.
Not just your father’s gaze.
But something else.
Something broken.
Something that would never forgive him.
Jaime clenched his jaw, looking away, his heart pounding against his ribs.
The ceremony began.
And Jaime Lannister had never felt more like a villain.
Tumblr media
The ceremony began with a weight that Jaime had never felt before.
The High Septon’s voice was solemn, echoing through the great hall of Casterly Rock, his words ancient and binding. The gathered lords and ladies of the Westerlands watched in complete silence, their eyes trained on the spectacle before them—on the Lannister heir finally taking a wife.
Jaime could feel Kevan’s gaze from his place at the high table. His uncle sat in his father’s stead, his presence a reminder that Tywin still held dominion over this marriage, even from King’s Landing. Jaime had expected some last-minute reprieve, some sign that fate would intervene, that the gods themselves would strike him down before he had to speak the words that would bind him to you forever.
But no such salvation came.
You stood beside him, silent and rigid, your fingers still clenched together in front of you, as if keeping your hands occupied was the only way to keep yourself from striking him, from clawing at the walls and running. Your face was unreadable, but your eyes—gods, your eyes—held a storm within them, a fury restrained only by the knowledge that escape was impossible.
She is looking at you like a man about to carry out her execution.
Jaime swallowed hard, forcing himself to stand taller, to keep the façade of the composed lord he was expected to be.
The High Septon gestured for you both to extend your hands, and Jaime hesitated for only a fraction of a second before reaching out. His golden hand remained at his side—useless, mocking—while his left hand extended, waiting.
You didn’t move at first.
The pause was long enough for the gathered nobility to murmur amongst themselves, for Kevan to shift in his seat, for Bronn—who was standing off to the side—to smirk faintly, as if amused by the hesitation.
Then, with slow, deliberate movements, you placed your hand in Jaime’s.
He tried not to react to how cold your fingers were.
The High Septon took a long strip of embroidered silk, wrapping it around your joined hands in slow, ceremonial movements. The fabric was heavy, embroidered with gold, with the sigils of House Lannister and House Stark entwined together in unnatural harmony.
As the binding continued, the words of the old vows filled the hall.
"In the sight of the Seven, I hereby seal these two souls, binding them as one, for all eternity…"
Jaime barely heard them.
He was too focused on the way your fingers tensed beneath his touch, on the way your throat bobbed as you swallowed back whatever words you truly wanted to say.
"From this day, you are one flesh, one heart, one soul. Cursed be he who would tear them asunder."
You flinched at that, just barely, but Jaime noticed.
He wanted to say something. He wanted to tell you that this didn’t have to be a prison, that he wasn’t going to chain you down, that he understood—perhaps more than you knew.
But words felt meaningless now.
And then, the High Septon turned to him.
Jaime felt a heavy weight settle on his chest.
"Do you, Ser Jaime of House Lannister, take this woman to be your lawful wife, to love, honor, and cherish her, from this day until your last?"
The words sounded like a death sentence.
Jaime looked at you, and for the first time, he saw something flicker across your face. Not anger. Not defiance.
Resignation.
You expected him to say yes.
Because that was what Lannisters did. They took what they wanted, regardless of who suffered for it.
Jaime’s throat felt tight, but he forced himself to speak.
"I do."
The words barely left his lips before the High Septon turned to you.
"And do you, Lady Y/N of House Stark, take this man to be your lawful husband, to love, honor, and cherish him, from this day until your last?"
Silence.
A tense, deafening silence.
The entire hall held its breath, every eye on you, waiting, expecting.
Jaime’s fingers tightened around yours instinctively.
He felt the smallest tremor run through you, your breathing shallow.
Then, finally, after what felt like a lifetime—
"I do."
Your voice was steady. Cold.
A perfect lie.
The High Septon smiled as if something holy had just occurred, raising his hands in blessing.
"Then, in the eyes of gods and men, I declare you husband and wife. Let it be known that the bond between House Stark and House Lannister is now sealed."
The silk was unwrapped from your hands, and Jaime let go of you, not because he wanted to, but because he knew you wanted him to.
There was only one thing left.
The final act.
"You may kiss the bride."
Jaime heard Kevan clear his throat from the high table. He knew the expectation. He knew the eyes on him.
He turned toward you, waiting, searching for some sign that this wouldn’t be an even greater mistake than it already was.
Your face was blank, your gaze unreadable.
Jaime inhaled slowly, then took a step forward.
You didn’t move.
Carefully, cautiously, he reached for your chin, tilting it up just slightly before leaning in.
The kiss was barely a brush of lips—quick, fleeting, meant only for show.
But he felt you tense the moment it happened.
When he pulled away, you were already looking past him, your body still rigid, your hands now clenched at your sides.
Jaime turned back to the hall, offering a tight smile as the room erupted into polite applause.
It was done.
You were his.
But as he glanced at you one final time, Jaime realized something.
He may have won the hand of a Stark in an attempt to save you from Roose.
But he had lost something far greater.
And perhaps, he had never truly had it to begin with.
Tumblr media
The feast was a grand affair, as expected of the Lannisters. Gold-lined goblets overflowed with Arbor wine, the tables were weighed down with lavish dishes—roast boar with honeyed glaze, river trout stuffed with herbs, spiced duck, and bread so soft it practically melted on the tongue. Minstrels played lively tunes in the background, their melodies lost amidst the constant hum of conversation, laughter, and the clinking of goblets.
Jaime sat beside you at the high table, adorned in ceremonial red and gold, looking every bit the heir to Casterly Rock that his father had always wanted him to be. His golden hand rested on the table, unmoving, while his other clutched a goblet he had yet to drink from. He wasn’t thirsty—nor was he in the mood to celebrate.
You were seated beside him, dressed in Lannister colors, the weight of the marriage still heavy upon you. You barely touched your plate, only picking at the food with little appetite, your gaze distant despite the raucous festivities surrounding you. It was clear to anyone paying attention that you were present only in body, not in spirit.
Jaime leaned toward you slightly, his voice low so only you could hear. “You should eat.”
You barely reacted, only shifting your fork slightly on the plate. “I’m not hungry.”
Jaime sighed, setting his goblet down. “It’s going to be a long night. You’ll need your strength.”
You exhaled slowly, tilting your head slightly toward him. “For what, exactly?”
Jaime knew what you were implying, and a part of him winced. He was painfully aware of what people expected of them tonight. The bedding ceremony. The consummation. The final act that would solidify this marriage in the eyes of gods and men.
But Jaime had no intention of forcing you into anything.
“For enduring the rest of this wretched feast,” he answered instead, offering a half-smirk.
You turned your head toward him at that, your expression unreadable. “Is that all?”
Jaime studied you for a moment before leaning in closer. “If you think I intend to drag you to bed like some brute, you insult me.”
Your brow furrowed slightly, your lips pressing together as you searched his face. Jaime wasn’t sure what you were looking for, but after a long moment, your shoulders eased—just barely.
He continued, his voice softer now. “I know this isn’t what you wanted, Y/N. But I swear to you, I will not make it worse than it already is.”
You blinked, surprised by the honesty in his tone.
Before you could say anything, a drunken noble raised his goblet, his voice booming over the crowd. “To House Lannister and House Stark!”
The hall erupted in a chorus of cheers, though some were more reluctant than others. Jaime caught Kevan watching him from across the room, his uncle’s expression calm but expectant. Bronn, further down the table, smirked at him knowingly before tossing back another gulp of wine.
Jaime turned back to you. Your fingers were curled tightly around your goblet, your knuckles white, but you lifted it nonetheless, playing the part of the obedient bride.
He hated it.
Before the moment could stretch too long, he leaned toward you again, lowering his voice just enough for only you to hear.
“This doesn’t have to be war, Y/N.”
You turned to him fully at that, your expression unreadable. “Then what would you have it be?”
Jaime met your gaze, his throat tight. “Something better.”
You studied him for a long moment before looking away, exhaling softly.
The feast continued, the minstrels played, the guests laughed and drank. But Jaime only had eyes for you.
He wondered in silence if there would ever be a way for you to look at him without seeing your enemy.
Tumblr media
The night stretched long, the feast becoming more of a drunken revelry as time dragged on. The halls of Casterly Rock pulsed with the sound of laughter, goblets clashing, and the occasional bawdy song that filled the air with drunken cheer. The wine flowed freely, and the golden light of the torches flickered against the stone walls, casting long, swaying shadows.
Jaime sat stiffly beside you, his goblet untouched. He had lost count of how many men had stumbled past the high table, offering slurred congratulations and crude jests about how lucky he was to have a Stark warming his bed. He had smiled through gritted teeth, offering half-hearted smirks, but his patience was running thin.
You, however, had remained eerily silent.
Your expression had not wavered once throughout the night, your goblet lifted only when required, your voice never raised in conversation unless absolutely necessary. But Jaime could see it—the way your fingers curled tightly around the stem of your cup, the way your shoulders remained taut, the way your breath came just a fraction too slow, as if you were bracing yourself for what was coming.
And it was coming.
The moment was inevitable.
Jaime knew it the second one of the drunken lords of the Westerlands stood up from his seat, his face flushed red with wine, his tunic slightly askew. He swayed on his feet before throwing an arm around the nearest man, raising his goblet with a lopsided grin.
“Well, now, it’s been a fine evening, hasn’t it?” he bellowed, his voice carrying over the laughter and music. “A mighty fine evening for a mighty fine wedding! And what’s a wedding feast without a proper conclusion?”
The crowd chuckled in anticipation. Jaime felt your body stiffen beside him.
“Come now, Lord Jaime,” the drunken lord continued, slurring his words slightly. “Surely, you wouldn’t deny us a bedding ceremony?”
The room erupted into cheers, laughter spilling from the lips of men too drunk to care about anything other than tradition and spectacle. Some of the ladies tittered behind their goblets, their eyes gleaming with amusement. A few of the men slammed their hands against the table in encouragement, eager for the show to begin.
Jaime clenched his jaw.
And then—Kevan turned to him.
His uncle’s expression was calm, but there was a quiet expectation in his eyes. He didn’t have to say anything. The Lannisters upheld tradition. It would be seen as an insult if Jaime refused.
Jaime exhaled slowly, setting his goblet down with deliberate care. He could feel the weight of the entire room pressing in on him, waiting, watching.
And beside him, you sat still as stone.
Jaime turned his head slightly, just enough to glance at you, to see the barely concealed tension in your features. Your hands were hidden beneath the table, but he could guess they were clenched into fists. Your breath was slow, measured, controlled.
He knew what you were waiting for.
You were waiting for him to say yes.
You were waiting for him to be like every other Lannister before him—to drag you from this hall, to let these men tear you from your clothes, to parade you like a trophy into a bed you did not want.
And gods, Jaime hated that you thought him capable of that.
The room was still waiting.
Kevan was still waiting.
Jaime let out a slow breath, then pushed his chair back slightly, rising to his feet.
The crowd leaned in.
He lifted his goblet.
“To tradition,” he said smoothly, his voice carrying just enough authority to silence the room.
A few men cheered, raising their goblets in agreement.
Jaime waited for them to quiet.
Then he turned to face them fully, his expression unreadable.
“But as my lady wife has endured much already, I think we can all agree that she need not endure more tonight.”
The laughter faltered. Murmurs rippled through the crowd, confused and surprised. The drunken lord who had started the jest blinked at him, his wine-addled mind struggling to process the words.
Kevan’s lips pressed into a thin line.
Jaime smirked faintly. “You are all welcome to drink until your bellies burst and your legs give out, but the bedding is over.”
Silence.
A long, stretching silence.
Then—Bronn laughed.
A loud, sharp, amused laugh.
“Well, I’ll be damned,” the sellsword drawled, leaning back in his seat. “Jaime Lannister refusing a bedding ceremony. I never thought I’d see the day.”
A few chuckles rippled through the room, though most were uncertain. Kevan sighed through his nose but said nothing.
Jaime turned back to you, finding you watching him carefully, searching his face.
“Shall we?” he murmured, extending his hand.
You hesitated for only a second before nodding, rising from your seat without a word.
The crowd parted as Jaime led you from the hall, the weight of a hundred eyes on his back. But he didn’t care.
Because for the first time that night, he saw something flicker across your face.
Not gratitude. Not warmth.
But something close.
And it was enough.
Tumblr media
The corridors of Casterly Rock were quiet as Jaime led you through them, away from the feast, away from the prying eyes of the nobility. The warmth and noise of the great hall faded behind you, replaced by the distant crash of waves against the cliffs and the flickering of torches that cast elongated shadows on the cold stone walls.
Your hand was still in his, though neither of you spoke of it.
Jaime could feel the rigid set of your shoulders, the way your steps were measured and purposeful, as if you were trying to remind yourself you still had control over something. He wanted to say something to ease it, to reassure you, but words felt clumsy, inadequate.
When they reached the heavy doors of the chambers that had been prepared for them, Jaime hesitated before pushing them open.
Inside, the room was exactly as expected—lavish, warm, filled with rich reds and golds, the colors of his house drowning everything. A fire crackled in the hearth, casting an orange glow over the thick furs draped over the grand bed, over the fine silks that adorned the room. It was meant to be inviting, meant to be the place where a newly wedded couple would consummate their marriage.
Jaime hated the sight of it.
Because he knew what you saw—a prison dressed in gold.
You stood in the doorway, unmoving. He could feel the way your breath slowed, controlled, as if bracing for something inevitable.
Jaime exhaled softly, then turned to face you. “You can breathe now, you know.”
You glanced at him sharply.
He smirked, tilting his head. “I imagine you’ve been holding it in all night.”
Your lips parted slightly, but you said nothing. Instead, you stepped inside slowly, surveying the room like a wolf scanning unfamiliar terrain, your posture tense.
Jaime closed the door behind you both, then turned toward you fully. “You’re safe,” he said simply.
You scoffed. “Safe,” you repeated, voice hollow. “That’s an interesting word for this.”
Jaime sighed, running a hand through his hair before stepping closer. “I meant what I said,” he murmured, his voice softer now. “Nothing will happen tonight unless you wish it.”
You turned to face him at that, studying him carefully, as if trying to find the lie in his words. “And tomorrow?”
Jaime hesitated, then exhaled slowly. “Tomorrow, and every night after, that remains the same.”
You blinked, caught off guard by the quiet sincerity in his tone. For a moment, the firelight cast something softer across your face, something unsure.
Jaime took another step closer, reaching for your hand once more, his touch light, careful. “I know you still hate me,” he murmured, brushing his thumb over the back of your knuckles. “I don’t expect that to change overnight.”
Your fingers twitched in his hold. “Then why are you doing this?”
Jaime studied you, his throat tightening. He wanted to tell you that he didn’t know, that there was something about you that unmade him, that had made him question everything. He wanted to tell you that the thought of you crying in his arms the night before still haunted him. That he hated seeing you afraid. That you were different from everything he had ever known.
But instead, he smirked faintly, tilting his head. “Because it’s the one thing I can do for you.”
You exhaled, looking away for a moment before finally, finally, allowing yourself to relax. Just a fraction.
Jaime stepped even closer now, his free hand rising slowly, hesitating before brushing a loose strand of hair from your face. His touch was warm, his fingers lingering just slightly as he tucked the strand behind your ear.
You let him.
For the second time since you had been brought to Casterly Rock, you didn’t recoil from him.
Jaime swallowed, his gaze flickering between your eyes, your lips, the curve of your jawline. He had kissed you today, at the ceremony, but that had been for show. This… this was different. The pull from the night before.
“Y/N,” he murmured, his voice lower now, softer.
You inhaled, your breath ghosting against his lips, but you didn’t pull away.
His left hand held onto yours as if grounding himself. “Say the word,” he whispered.
You hesitated. Just for a moment. Then—
“Goodnight, Jaime,” you whispered instead.
Jaime let out a slow breath, his lips curving into something wry. “Goodnight, wife.”
Then, with great effort, he let you go.
He turned toward the fire, grabbing the nearest chair and settling into it without another word. You watched him for a moment longer before moving toward the bed, slipping beneath the furs with careful movements.
Jaime didn’t turn to look, but he listened.
Listened to your breath slow, listened to the shift of fabric as you settled.
And as he sat there, staring into the flames, he realized something.
Jaime Lannister did not long for battle anymore.
He longed for something much more dangerous.
And it was sleeping only a few feet away from him.
Tumblr media
The morning light seeped through the heavy crimson drapes of Casterly Rock, casting an amber hue over the grand chambers. The fire in the hearth had burned low, leaving only embers glowing faintly beneath the blackened logs. The scent of wax and cold stone lingered in the air, mingling with the faintest traces of perfumed oils used the night before.
Jaime stirred first, blinking against the soft morning light, his body stiff from having spent the night in the chair. His muscles ached slightly, a dull reminder that he was not as young as he once was, nor as invincible. He let out a quiet exhale, rubbing his face before turning his head toward the bed.
You were still asleep.
Curled beneath the thick furs, your form was relaxed, your breathing even. A few strands of hair had fallen across your face, and for the first time since he had met you, there was no tension in your features, no guarded expression, no silent fury burning beneath the surface.
Jaime watched you for a moment longer before forcing himself to look away.
A knock at the chamber doors shattered the quiet.
Jaime straightened as the heavy doors creaked open, and a line of Lannister servants entered, their movements swift and efficient. They carried trays of breakfast—warm bread, honeyed fruits, and roasted meats, along with fresh jugs of milk and wine. Others carried linens, their purpose clear.
Your eyes fluttered open at the noise, blinking against the morning light before focusing on the movement around the room. Jaime watched as you slowly sat up, your expression shifting as you took in the sight of the servants preparing the room, the way some moved toward the bed with practiced ease.
The bed linens.
Jaime saw it before you did—the way one of the older chambermaids stepped forward, ready to strip the furs and assess the sheets beneath.
His jaw tightened.
There was an expectation here. A tradition as old as Westeros itself.
The bedding had to be checked.
Had to be proven.
Jaime felt your body stiffen beneath the covers as you realized it, too.
The chambermaid reached for the sheets—then hesitated.
Because the linens were clean.
Jaime could see the pause in the servants' movements, the quick, darting glances between them. It was subtle, but it was there.
There was no proof of consummation.
No blood to stain the white linen.
The chambermaid, to her credit, said nothing. She only folded the sheets neatly, placing them aside without reaction. The other servants followed her lead, their expressions carefully neutral.
But the silence in the room had shifted.
Jaime glanced toward you, noting the rigid way you sat, the way your fingers curled into the furs, your jaw tight. He exhaled slowly before turning back to the servants.
"That will be all," he said smoothly, his voice calm but firm.
The chambermaid bowed her head slightly before gesturing for the others to finish their tasks quickly.
Jaime stood, stretching slightly before crossing the room. He poured himself a goblet of wine, more out of habit than need, before glancing over his shoulder at you.
"You should eat," he murmured. "It’s going to be another long day."
You didn’t move at first, still staring at the clean linens, still processing the unspoken weight of it.
Then, finally, you looked up at him. Your expression was unreadable, but there was something in your eyes—something uncertain.
Jaime met your gaze, tilting his head slightly. "Did you expect me to force you?"
You swallowed, glancing away. "I didn’t know what to expect."
Jaime sighed, setting his goblet down. "I told you last night, didn’t I?" His voice was quiet, lacking its usual sharp edge. "Nothing will happen unless you want it to."
You exhaled slowly, nodding just slightly before shifting to the edge of the bed, reaching for the plate of bread and fruit. Jaime watched as you took a slow bite, your hands steady, but your shoulders still stiff.
He smirked faintly. "See? That wasn’t so hard, was it?"
You shot him a look, but there was no real heat in it.
The animosity in the room softened, just a fraction.
Jaime took his goblet again, leaning against the table as he sipped.
The servants moved efficiently, pretending not to notice the silence between you, pretending not to acknowledge what they had noticed.
And Jaime, for once, was grateful for the discretion.

PART 3, SEE SERIES MASTERLIST
Bleary-eyed and messy-haired she stumbles down the stairs, crabby at having woken up all by herself in bed instead of wrapped up in his arms. She hears voices coming from the kitchen and follows that sound, finding Nicholas and Cooper sitting at the counter, sharing leftover fries and laughing about one thing or another.
Without saying a word, she steps up to Nicholas and buries her face in his neck, unabashed in her neediness, and whimpers when he immediately goes to hold her against him tightly.
“Aw, baby,” he coos, “you grumpy?” He chuckles through her nod. “’m here now, (Y/N).”
“Never mess with her post-nap,” Cooper provides helpfully, “or you’ll regret it.”
“Is that so?” Nicholas asks, the smirk evident in his voice, as he pulls her away to look her in the eye. “What’ll happen if I do?”
She glares at him, puts as much heat as possible behind it, making him have to suppress a laugh.
“I don’t think you’re brave enough to find out,” Cooper winks before getting up to fix her a plate of leftovers. “You must be starving.”
She nods. “Yeah. And ‘m cold.”
Nicholas immediately wraps her up in his arms, pulls her back against his chest, the sleeves of his hoodie warm on her exposed skin. Together they watch Cooper walk around the kitchen.
“You got any plans till Wednesday?” he whispers in her ear, making her shudder as he kisses the shell of it softly. She shakes her head no. “Good, because Cooper is letting me kidnap you to my place until you have to leave.”
Feeling her heart rate pick up and hoping he doesn’t notice, she turns to look at him.
“Really?”
“Really. I’ve got all the time in the world and you still in my system. I… I can’t let you go, (Y/N), not yet. ‘s that okay with you?”
She nods eagerly and pulls him in to press a hard kiss against his mouth, not deepening it but letting him know just how good she thinks his idea is. Cooper interrupts them by putting the plate in front of them, clearing his throat as he does so.
“You’ll come see me one more time before your flight, though, right?” he asks, and she softens at the sweetness in his eyes.
Pulling away from Nick, she steps into Cooper’s arms, hugging him tight.
“Of course. And as soon as my classes are done, I’ll be back here. Or you can come visit me!”
“We’ll arrange something for sure,” he mumbles against her shoulder before letting her step away to eat her dinner.
Soon enough she’s packing her suitcase, putting things she’ll be needing at Nick’s place in an extra bag so she can reach for them easier. She’s glad he’s decided to stay downstairs because she needs a moment to herself, needs to reflect on everything going on inside of her when she thinks about these past couple of days. Things seem to be going fast, they’re extremely intense, but she doesn’t think she minds. He makes her feel good, treats her well, fucks her like nobody has fucked her before and she sees no issue in basking in this situation for as long as she can.
It's not like she’s using him, not more than he is using her, at least. All the status symbols he possesses- the money, the fame, his job title- none of them matter to her, all she wants is him. No shame in that, she tells herself, silently checking the room to make sure nothing is forgotten. Even if, she’ll be back here in no time. That thought alone excites her more than she thought it would.
It doesn’t take long for Nick to get her stuff into his car, for her to hug Cooper goodbye, and then it’s just the two of them on the drive to his place, music playing softly.
“You had a good nap, at least?” he asks, glancing at her from the corner of his eye.
She’s taking in her surroundings, the lights of the city bright through the darkness of the evening.
“Yeah,” she smiles, “I really needed it. You wore me out.”
He grins at that, shameless, takes her hand in his and kisses the back of it. It makes her stomach flutter.
“How’s your body feeling?”
“I’m wired,” she chuckles, “sore, but… y’know.”
A raise of an eyebrow, a tilt of the mouth, his question, “What?”
Feeling heat crawl up her neck, she decides to be truthful. “I could go again.”
The sound he makes is less of a chuckle and more of a groan, although a mix of both, and she wishes there was a discreet way to rub her thighs together.
“I’ve got plans for us, baby,” he smiles, doesn’t take his eyes off the road, “and most of them include fucking you over and over again. Are you okay with that?”
She nods, throat dry, knowing he isn’t looking at her, knowing he can see her reaction anyway.
“Yeah? You okay with me sending you home with a swollen, come-filled pussy?”
“Fucking hell, Nicholas,” she exhales, turning away from him to drive a shaky hand over her face, already greedy for it.
Through a smile he says, “Answer me, (Y/N).”
Swallowing feels like nails are scraping down her throat, but she does anyway, speaks, “Y-yeah, I’m absolutely okay with it. Need it.”
He hums.
“That you do, little girl,” he says, more to himself than to her, as he pulls into his driveway. "That you do."
When he’s parked his car, he immediately grabs her by the neck, pulls her into a searing kiss that leaves her whimpering in his mouth, pressing closer to get at him better, get the full taste of him, but too soon for her liking he’s pulling away, opening his door and getting out. She’s breathing hard, trying to collect herself, when he opens her door and helps her step out, ever the gentleman.
He grabs her stuff from the trunk and leads the way inside, her eyes widening at how beautiful his place is- warm colors and tasteful decorations, lots of windows to let the California sun in during the day. She adores it already. The house tour he gives her is quick, but she appreciates that he takes the time to do so anyways. Nicholas sets her suitcase down in the bedroom before gathering her in his arms.
“Wanna shower together?” he asks, kisses her after she gives him a nod.
The air around them is crackling with tension, although she feels comfortable in it, knowing it’ll pay off to be patient and go at the pace he’s set. She hasn’t known him long, but if there’s one thing she knows, it’s that there’s a reason for and a certain kind of expertise in everything he is doing, and he always exceeds her expectations.
Her stomach is in knots from all the excitement.
The way he undresses her is unhurried, isn’t even sexual, closed lips pressed against hers and a smile on his face. He makes sure the water is warm, makes sure her hair is up and out of the way, before he pulls her in after him, lets the water soak them both while they giggle into each other’s mouths.
Choosing from his collection of expensive shower gels isn’t easy, but she picks a vanilla scented one, groaning as his strong hands massage it into the tense lines of her back.
“You’re good at that,” she whispers, knows he’ll hear her over the noise of the shower stream.
He steps away to let the water rinse the foam off before pressing a kiss to her shoulder, turning her around to continue washing her front, her doing the same with his gorgeously toned torso. When it comes to washing their private areas, they each do it to themselves, grinning at each other at the strangely mundane way they’re behaving.
“And here I was, hoping to get my hand near your ass,” he pretend-sulks, laughing at the smack she delivers to his chest.
“Not like this, Mister!”
Her heart feels full when he towels her off, hands her his fancy body lotion with a raised brow, lotions her back after she does the same for him. She likes that they smell the same now, with a hint of themselves. Soon they’ll smell like themselves, with a hint of the other.
Back in his bedroom, he walks to his closet and pulls out a pair of briefs, pulls them up his muscular legs, fitting them snugly around his crotch. He slides the doors of his wardrobe closed, revealing huge mirrors on the wood, facing the bed.
Unsure, she moves to her suitcase to get her own underwear when he stops her in her tracks, “No, you stay naked. Get rid of the towel.”
Biting her lip, she does as he asks and pulls the material away from her body, hangs it on the doorknob. Standing there in front of him, stark naked as his eyes move up and down her frame, makes her toes curl in anticipation. If she were to reach out and touch her pussy right now, her fingers would come away wet.
“Fuckin’ stunning,” Nicholas breathes, leaning in to kiss her deeply, already letting his tongue come out to play with hers. She moans as he kisses over her jaw and down to her neck, licking a stripe up her skin until he reaches her ear, whispers, “Do you trust me?”
“Of course,” she confirms immediately, nodding shakily. “Always.”
His smile is small yet dirty, enjoying her admission immensely.
Hand in hand they walk to the bed, Nicholas letting himself fall onto the soft mattress and pulling her down until she’s seated between his thighs, her back to his chest, feeling the rise and fall of every calm breath.
Her eyes shut on their own accord when he starts kissing her neck from behind, nibbling at the skin softly, just how she likes. Smaller hands grip the forearms he’s got around her waist, making him tighten them, making her feel his body right there behind hers.
“Hey, open your eyes,” he whispers, nips at her earlobe, “look at us.”
Confused, she does as he tells her to before the realization hits her: she sees them, right in front of her, his thick thighs framing her hips, her legs open and pussy on display, their arms clutching each other, their faces red.
Embarrassment grips her, then, the lewd image of herself entirely new to her, but when she goes to closer her legs on instinct, his hands are there to keep them apart.
“No, don’t do that. I want you to look at yourself. What do you see?”
His voice is warm and encouraging yet holds an edge of authority, causing her stomach to clench. She wants to fight his command almost as much as she wants to fight her shame, and in the end, she wins the fight against the latter. She widens her legs again, looks at herself, bites her lip shily.
“I see… us. How good we look, how well we fit together.”
“Mhm. What else?”
An inhale, an exhale, she pushes on.
“I see my pussy… how wet you make me. I’ve been clenching since we got out of the shower,” she chuckles, a tinge of ridicule in her tone, “I’m so fucking desperate for you, and I’ve already had you today.”
He hums, letting two of his long, capable fingers drive through her slick folds, making her exhale harshly.
“You’re dripping, baby,” he notes, almost absent-mindedly. “But I want you wetter. I need you to be completely relaxed for what I’m gonna do to you tonight, okay?”
“W-what’s that?”
Unexpectedly he pushes those two fingers deep into her, curls them, punches a spot inside of her that has her entire body freeze up, staring at him through the mirror with wide eyes.
“Shhh, it’s okay, baby,” he soothes, pets at her until she relaxes enough to let him pull out, hand resuming the stroking from before. “I wanna make you come on my hand, (Y/N). You see what you did just now, how you clamped your pussy shut around me? Can’t have that.”
He doesn’t scold her, she knows, he’s stating the truth, but still, she feels vulnerable, feels admonished, eyes welling up with tears.
“’m sorry, Nick, I’m just not used to it, I don’t think I can-“
“Hey, hey, none of that, baby,” he shushes her, takes his hands off her privates and wraps his arms around her tightly, clean hand finding her face and stroking along the soft skin of her cheek. “There’s nothing wrong with being nervous, sweetheart, okay? You just tell me if you want this, and I’ll make it happen. I can get your body to do anything I want it to; you just need to let me guide you through it.”
She chuckles softly, presses a kiss to his lips. “Awfully confident, are we?”
Nicholas’ expression is serious as he says, “Look, (Y/N), I know it’s bad etiquette to talk about this, but I mean it. I have so much fucking experience with this, and I want to show you what your body can do, what you get to do for me if you just give in, okay? You trust me, yeah?”
Enchanted, she stares into his deep brown eyes, the kindness they exude, nodding dumbly.
“Good girl,” he kisses her, then, a lot of tongue and some sharp teeth, before guiding her to lean back against him, to open her legs and resume the position they were in mere minutes ago.
“Fuck,” she exhales as she watches his right hand move over her most intimate parts, as his left hand holds hers against her stomach, watches how he’s just stroking between her outer and inner lips before moving along her slit, alternating like that.
“She’s so gorgeous,” he says, right next to her ear, “and so sweet. Sweetest pussy I’ve ever had, I swear. The way she cries for me, fuck… I wanna make her drench me.”
His words make her want to double over with want, make her want to claw at her skin, create new ways for him to enter her system, stay there and corrupt her from the inside out.
“It’ll make a mess, though,” she pipes up, her eyes trained on where he’s playing between her hips, same as his, “your poor bed.”
He chuckles, kisses her shoulder. “This may feel like a fuzzy blanket, but it’s actually a waterproof cover.” A laugh escapes him at her accusingly surprised face. “Told you I’ve got plans, baby. Plans require, well, planning.”
“Unbelievable,” she groans, no heat behind it.
“What can I say, I love catching you off guard,” he smiles before focusing back on touching her, keeping the sensation light. “What else do you see, c’mon, tell me.”
She huffs, swirling her hips and getting more comfortable.
“You’re such a talker,” she snaps weakly, yelps when he pinches the inside of her thigh.
“Gets you wet as fuck, though, doesn’t it?” She nods reluctantly. “Exactly, and that’s what I need you to be for this to work. C’mon, now, say it.”
Nicholas puts his fingers in a v-shape, pulls her pussy up so the skin of her hood is out of the way, so her clit is exposed for him to see. Her stomach turns, the nervousness at being studied so intently getting to her.
“Ugh, m-my clit is so… swollen. She wants to be touched, w-wants to come.”
He chuckles, grazes the very tip of a finger on his other hand against her nub, holds her tightly through the shudder that passes through her.
“So hard f’me,” he whispers, tortures her with that one digit. “But we won’t use her to make you come tonight, will we, (Y/N)?”
“N-no,” she stammers, throws her head back for a second before looking back up.
“What will we use, tell me.”
“M-my spot,” she breathes, delirious with want, feeling her cunt clench around nothing as it pushes her wetness out. “Gonna come from my- my spot.”
“That’s right,” he husks into her ear, the praise making her skin erupt in a blush as he moves the v of his fingers down to spread her apart, moves a finger to her opening to tease it slightly. Looking straight at the slight gape of herself where he’s holding her open makes her mewl, resisting a thrash against his body. “This is where I’ll fuck into tonight, baby. This is what you’ll give me… you see how you’re gushing already?”
She nods before looking away, burying her face in the side of his neck, unable to look anymore. Shame curls along her spine, shame at being inspected like this, touched like this, shame at loving it so much she could start drooling. And the way he talks about her, sexual in an almost clinical way, God, how does he know just how to get under her skin? She never dared to admit how that objectification, that humiliation, made the spring inside of her core coil just on the right side of too tight.
“Hey, no, don’t do that,” he commands but she ignores him, whines into the sweat-slick skin of his neck while shaking her head no, ignores him until he pulls his hand back and delivers a soul-ripping smack to the oversensitive skin of her pussy, his palm connecting with her center and making a sharp slapping sound.
“Fuck!” she screams, throws herself against his chest as her toes curl, the pent-up tears streaming down her rosy cheeks. The ringing in her ears makes her feel like she’s losing her mind.
Nicholas holds her through it, of course, manhandles her so she opens up for him again, so she settles down and breathes in sync with him, so she calms down and surrenders to the game he’s playing with her body.
“When I tell you to look, you look,” he pants into her ear, tightens his arms around her until she feels like she can breathe again, “and when you don’t, I hurt you like you need to be hurt to finally fucking let me do what you’re craving me to do, okay? Do you fucking understand me, (Y/N)?”
She nods through a sob as he shakes her condescendingly, pushes herself back against him to feel the hard line of his body right behind her, needing to be as close to him as possible.
“Good girl, you’re my good little girl,” he whispers to her, reverence evident in his tone as he strokes her hair back from her sweaty face, as he kisses the tears away from her cheeks, kisses her drooling mouth softly. “Now describe your sloppy cunt to me, c’mon.”
She looks, opens her mouth to say something, groans as more tears leave her eyes.
“Fuck… Fuck, I can’t! I can’t, I’m so embarrassed, I-“
“Shhh, I know you are, baby, but this shit gets you hot, doesn’t it? Makes you so fucking horny for it, huh?”
She nods, unable to do much else, as he coaxes the filth right out of her.
“Baby, I need you to leave the shame at the door when you’re with me. I want you completely unhinged for me, I need you to give me that, do you understand me? I wanna, fuck, I wanna fuck you up, baby, wanna- need’a do bad, bad fuckin’ things to you.”
She’s been so engrossed with how she’s feeling that she never stopped to think about just how effected he is by this whole ordeal, but now it’s glaringly obvious in the way his words seem to rip right out of his chest, the way he stutters over them like even he can’t believe that this is what he wants, the way his breathing is labored and his body is rigid and how he’s keeping her back arched just enough so she wouldn’t be able to rub herself against his cock, his cock that is probably hot-red and leaking with need.
Taking strength from his vulnerability, she lets go, then, lets her mouth run wild with the fantasy she’s often had but never dared to voice out loud, scared of being the dirty girl he wants her to be for him. But this ends now. She’s not scared anymore now, not with him.
“She’s fucking pulsing for you, Nicholas, she needs you,” she whines, a breath punching out of her when he sinks two impossibly thick fingers into her, hooks them slightly for a pinch of the pressure but mainly gives her a delicious stretch. “I wanna feel you in my fuckin’- my fuckin’ stomach, my lungs, my- I don’t know, everywhere at the same time, fill me and claim me and rub your cock all over me so I smell like your come, so I’m- fuck, Nicholas, fuck!”
Crying comes easy to her, whole body feeling like a raw nerve as he shushes her, praises her, my dirty fucking girl, that’s it, give in, let me have you like this, holy shit (Y/N), yes baby, all the while his fingers are wreaking havoc on her insides.
“(Y/N), I need you to listen to me for a second, can you do that?” he asks, slowing his ministrations down until he’s just lazily fingering her, making her feel him but not overwhelming her with the sensation.
She nods dumbly, locks eyes with him through the mirror, doesn’t dare look away.
“’m listenin’,” she mumbles, purses her lips to kiss at his forearm that’s holding her down.
“I’m gonna have to fuck you really hard for you to come for me like this, okay? You’ll scream, and you’ll cry, and you’ll beg me to stop, but I won’t. We need a word for when you really need me to stop, though, okay? For emergencies.”
“Like- like a safe word?” she asks, eyes glazing over at the prospect of him ignoring her pathetic pleas until she exercises her full power and makes him stop.
The smile he gives her is full of pride, knowing. “Exactly, a safe word.”
Thinking is hard, her thoughts flowing slow like molasses, but she mumbles out, “How about red? Classic traffic light system.”
Nicholas kisses her then, a smile on his lips, presses close and smooches every inch of her face he can reach.
“My perfect girl, yes, we’ll do that. Red for when you need me to stop, and if that’s not the word you use, I won’t, okay?”
She nods, pussy clenching at what that means, how intense it’s going to be. If she had the energy to freak out, she probably would, would let her pulse spike and her chest constrict with anxiety, but her entire being is currently reduced to being Nicholas’ little plaything, to keeping herself pliant for him to work into.
His fingers find their way deep inside her again, find that spongy spot that has never been the cause of pleasure for her until he came and turned her world upside down, her body inside out.
Holding back her moans is not even an option as she watches him work her expertly, gaze switching between the point of view from above- where his palm is visible and slapping against her sensitive flesh, where his arm is flexing where it’s mustering up the strength to really abuse the pink insides of her pussy- and the view in the mirror, the front- where the veiny back of his hand is covering her most intimate part, the sight of her thighs shaking along the insides of his legs as he drives into her, obscene noises filling the room along with their heavy breaths.
A squelching noise reaches her ears, then, disgusting in its intensity but gut-wrenchingly hot in its obscenity, and she shuts her eyes tightly when he points it out, chuckles in her ear dirtily.
“You hear that, baby?” he grins, licks into her ear, “Your little spot filling up for me? God, you’re so fucking tight, getting so full… You’ll explode soon, huh? Just a liiittle bit more, c’mon.”
It’s a strange sensation, one that starts in her stomach and makes its way down, seemingly wrapping around her ovaries and forcing her to cramp her insides shut, fight against the onslaught of pleasure.
“Let it happen, (Y/N), don’t try to push me out.”
“C-can’t,” she whines, writhes and thrashes against his chest, kicks her leg out before he quickly reels her in, puts his stronger legs over hers and holds her steady, locked down against his hard muscle. “I’ll- Nick, I’m gonna pee, I don- I don’t wanna pee, I- I can’t-“
“You’re not going to, baby, you-“
“Please, please no more, Nick- hng- please, I’m gonna- no, baby, no-“
The movement of his hand increases and he’s really working his whole arm now, pushing at that spot inside of her, assaulting it with such precision and vigor that it makes her sick with desperation, stomach turning when she notices that she can’t keep it in, no matter how hard she tries. He’s like a man possessed, and he’s come to hunt down what is rightfully his: her first explosive full-body orgasm, the one she promised him, the one that seals his ownership over her sex, the one she’s desperate to give him.
Before she knows it, it’s escaping her: the wet flow of her juices, triggered only by his coaxing, only by the motions of his capable fingers inside of her, soaking his palm slowly but surely.
“Fucking let go for me, baby,” he grits through clenched teeth, brows furrowed as his laser-focused eyes look at her through the mirror, “you won’t pee, that’s just the wetness that’s been building up inside you, my sweet, because this little cunt hasn’t been treated right, has it, hasn’t been fucked like she deserves to be fucked, hasn’t been fuckin’ emptied out like she needs, huh? Ain’t that right, baby? It isn’t pee, don’t be shy, don’t worry.”
Just as she’s about to beg him to unhand her, her insecurity-riddled delirium putting that one word at the very tip of her tongue, the one word that will make him listen, he crashes her system with his hushed words, “And even if it was, you think I’d give a fuck? You think I wouldn’t lap up everything your body gives me, everything your pleasure-drunk cunt gives up for me? I wanna fucking break you, even if it means fucking the piss out of you,” he hisses, words barely audible over the way she screams as she lets go, her control snapping as her pussy sprays from the depth of her body and covers his hand, covers the bed, makes her see stars from how hard she’s clamping up, every single muscle in her body coiled tight.
It feels like it goes on forever.
It travels through her pussy, shakes her core all the way through her stomach up to her empty lungs, scratches at her throat and makes her eyes roll back. Even when he pulls out, lets go of her completely- only his chest against her back- she feels him still, feels that immense pressure inside of her not letting up.
Her hands fly up to cover her face as she starts to cry, heavy sobs wracking her entire body, and it only barely registers when he moves from behind her, lays her down so he can be right next to her, no point of their bodies touching except the hand he’s got in her hair. Nicholas isn’t even shushing her, not this time, instead just letting her cry it out as he provides a grounding presence, a slight pull of her hair so she can have something to focus on.
Time passes, but she doesn’t rush herself, couldn’t even if she tried. She lets her body calm down by itself, lets the sobs subside until they’re mere sniffles, until the breathless gasps for air turn into small hiccups. Only then does he scooch closer to wrap his arms around her, pulling her into his sweat-soaked chest and rocking her back and forth, legs tangled together, his face in her hair.
“You’re incredible,” he chokes out, and when she looks up, his eyes are full of unshed tears, pride oozing out of every pore of his being. “God, (Y/N)… Fuck.”
He pulls her in again and she lets herself be held, gives him the time to come down himself, the control he had over her body and how tight he had to hold onto it surely exhausting for his system.
“I’m so proud of you. So fucking proud. What you just gave me, that was… fuck, baby. My baby.”
“Yours,” she gasps, launches her entire body into his in hopes of being able to crawl under his skin, to wrap herself around his bones so she’d be a part of him forever, even when all that’s left of him is that ivory color and a sliver of her soul.
Their tongues meet messily, desperately, consuming each other with shallow breath, but they don’t take it further. He’s exhausted everything she had to give him for tonight, and he knows it, doesn’t push her past any more limits. She’s grateful for that unspoken decision, although the need to feel him inside of her, satisfy him physically after enriching him emotionally, keeps gnawing at her.
“Baby, baby,” she whispers, grabs his face and digs her nails into his soft cheeks, licks at his bottom lip, “sleep inside of me.”
The widening of his eyes would be comical if it weren’t a moment so sensual.
“You want me to?”
“I can’t- I need it, I can’t have you just outside. You belong inside.”
Her chin starts to tremble at her disorganized thoughts, the inability to get her tongue to form the words properly, but Nicholas shushes her, understands exactly what she means, and he pulls down his underwear to free his cock, hikes her leg up his hip and glides inside of her with one hard thrust.
It feels as if she’s being lit on fire from the inside, but she bears it, takes it for him and for herself, and cuddles closer into his arms.
“I might want to fuck you during the night, baby.”
She nods. “You can. Not now, but later, I’ll wan’ it again. I need your come, Nicholas.”
“Fuck, you’re so sweet, my sweetest girl,” he whispers, kisses her one more time before settling down, nestled deep within her folds.
Sleep overtakes her then, pulls her under, and all she wants to dream about is this moment right here, lasting forever.
