People talk about how “overpowered” and freaky some of the physical feats in PJO and HOO are but I think people forget that all demigods inherently have enhanced, speed, agility, and strength. So at lot of these physical feats actually make a lot of sense in their “power scaling.”
And I know a lot of people like talk about the Lois Arc jump because that is insane but there are a lot of other feats that show off the enhanced attributes some of the other demigods have.
Like, Hazel ran after a Arion, the fastest horse alive for a WHOLE day. Hours upon hours on end. And even if Arion WASN’T the fastest horse he’s still. A horse. That Hazel was able to keep up with. And then run all the way home.
Reyna EASILY knocks away giant werewolves with a knife and used her javelin like a pole vault. Annabeth managed to fight Kronos, a whole ass Titan, to a standstill. And she’s been shown to perform moves only professional acrobatic and gymnast can do. Piper threw a fifty pound shield at Medea and was described to move fast as a viper.
Jason had dodged arrows that have appeared out of no where, no warning, and Percy has side stepped bullets. BULLETS.
Not to mention that with the Lycaon and werewolves they were all out running and keeping up with WOLVES.
So, yeah, demigods have freaky physical feats.

Dan got stuck...on a universe..again
( he swears it's happening on purpose and the Old Clock has something to do with this-)
Dan...was stuck- Like stuck in a universe.
He can't create a portal, he can't go to this universe history of timelines and he can't meddle anything, he doesn't like this and neither this universe spirit acknowledging his presence in this world.
Ok good news and bad news
Good news, Clockwork and Danny is already been informed and been trying to find ways to help him out to settle in this universe and found a way to get him out of here.
Bad news, it might take long- and he has to settl-settle... Here in this universe which it's spirit barely acknowledging him as a anomaly, and there's heros here...and some of them..just has problems which is relatable but...Dan is In form of a teenager...well like the empty clone Vlad made when he had been adopted by him..
Now he's been misidentified as some “Chaos lord” or “Witch boy” or “your still so young”
Hey! He never asked, and he's also been kinda adopted by this boy who's taller than him ( he's still at that age💀) with his cat name teekle.

Something really stood out to me during q!Philza's conversation with his eggs when they confronted him about being left behind at Etoiles' house. Because I realized a bit too late what the topic at hand was, and it made me realize why q!Phil was defensive and overexplaining his perspective in a situation where he made a mistake.
Because it's really all about what the situation was: Philza accidentally leaving them behind at Etoiles house. His kids, especially Tallulah, like to joke about being abandoned just for the sake of being dramatic. It's all jokes, yes! But they say as much here, and this time, it's a legitimate statement. He abandoned them, though accidentally. And they took that seriously. And abandon is kind of a scary word here. especially with Tallulah.
Philza knows she doesn't deal with the idea of abandonment well. She doesn't like being left behind, it makes her feel unloved. He doesn't want to do that to her. So when he did something stupid, he tries so hard to let them know that he didn't mean to, that he misunderstood and made a mistake. That he'd never abandon his kids, abandon Tallulah. He's a bit defensive because what they were saying, to him, sounded like they thought what he did was intentional, and that their hurt came from him doing it on purpose. So he overexplains himself so they understand that he wouldn't do that to them.
Of course, the problem is, he did, and even if it's accidental, it's still something that upset them and scared them. And incidental or otherwise, their feelings about the situation are still valid. Sure, nothing really wrong with explaining your perspective on the situation to clear the air, and it's easy to see why Philza would do that especially here. But yeah, q!Phil, you just had a birdbrain moment, you just gotta apologize and be more careful next time, that's all, man! Which, he did several times throughout the interaction, and to me, it seemed like afterward, he was being extra careful to keep an eye on them. So he's taking what came out of this situation fairly seriously!
But what I think is important to remember is that the Death family is so tightly-knit. They're all so important to each other, they rely on each other and they hold no secrets between one another. He never wants his children to think he'd leave them behind for any reason. It's just that he's a birdbrain sometimes, the dumbass <3
EDIT: hello, yes, yes, I talked a bit more about this scene and the implications of what was being discussed here! I even mention why this particular worry has manifested in Tallulah and Chayanne in particular as of recent!

fcuk god shit ough
Chase is just so,,,,,,,,,,,,grah i love this otter
i feel fucking goofy for saying it but I deadass think of this man and get all fuzzy and warm. I'm kicking my feet and giggling and shit. Thinking about him makes me happy. i love seeing fan art of reading fanfics and seeing posts about him. I often think about just living day-to-day with him. Hangin' out, going on long drives at night listening to music, snuggling and watching a movie, tryin out different restaurants and foods with each other. Having a little cookout with him and some buds.
I want to listen to him talk about his interests and like read the articles he writes. I wanna help him scope out good photography shots and even pose in some of them. I want to share my life with him.
IK i often joke about bouncing on it and needing him carnally but it's so much more than that I think i'm actually in love with this ottoer

Um this is sooo random and is probably gonna get like 3 notes, but can we headcanon the Roman and Greek students at New Rome University starting a little baseball league? Or softball. Either one. I may or may not have been inspired by grey’s anatomy, but that’s besides the point. I think I just love it because it’s friendly competition between the Greeks and Romans that they can do to blow off steam, and get out all their built-up energy. Also it has absolutely nothing to do with being a demigod. It’s a totally normal human thing. It’s not dangerous or violent, it’s not life or death, it’s not combat training, its not gonna bring back trauma or stress them out. It’s just fun.
Percy mentioned once that he has a good arm and that if he played, he would pitch. So Percy could be the Greeks’ pitcher. And that’s all I‘ve got because i don’t actually know baseball that well. But i just think it would be so dam funny.
Just a bunch of young adult adhd demigods, in jeans and jerseys, smack talking each other in ancient languages. Over freaking baseball. And like everyone at the college, and in the legion, and local families could come and watch. It would just be such a fun community thing. Maybe even the gods show up sometimes
It brings me joy. Okay?

just read the plot summary for Wrath of the Triple Goddess and. wow this is. painful this just sounds painful to read.
Why is Grover the incompetent inciting incident character? That is not his narrative role ever, really. That's like, the fanon conceptualization of his character where he's reduced down to comedic relief and nothing more. He's mostly exposition and support. Why not have the inciting incident be something about Annabeth's hubris - something that has gotten the gang into situations tons of times before in a way that doesn't put down any of the characters? Heck you could have even tied it into some Sea of Monsters stuff, like Circe having told Annabeth that she'd make a good sorceress. That'd be perfect for how this book literally just exists to be advertising for s2 of PJOTV. Or maybe call-back to Percy's introduction, where he talks about how he doesn't try to cause problems but problems tend to find him. Or use the established personalities of Hecate's animal companions from HoO, since we know they have attitudes. Just what are you even doing here????
