Character Profile: Elodie

Full Name:  Elodie Cecile Armond Kingdom: Oklever Generation: 4

Elodie is the baby of the Armond, and final child of Hadrien and Fleur. They are given to the Oklever Kingdom along with their elder sister. They enjoy the freedom under the Lund Clan to specialize in anything that calls to them, leading Elodie to eventually take to cultivating and creating poisonous plants. Elodie, like all the Armond children, develops a closeness with plants, allowing them to channel magic through them to create the results they want. They are known for their positive presence and disarming charm. Elodie is one of the few people-oriented servants in the kingdom. She, like her sister, is branded on her left hand with the dark grey turtle shell seal.

Ahmed Saad, a Palestinian man who had to jump through an insane amount of loops to get the funds necessary for escaping Gaza, is asking us all to donate to his friend’s family fund.

Mohamed is a hemophilia patient who needs access to medicine and to do surgery on his knees, his 11-year-old daughter also needs thigh surgery (she was supposed to do it outside Gaza in November but couldn't travel due to the border issues). Mohammed’s condition is worsening rapidly and, with Israel destroying the last functional hospital in Gaza, things are looking dire.

Been down a nostalgia road-trip through Generation Four of My Little Pony and I still think that Season Seven Episode Thirteen "The Perfect Pear" is a gem of an episode. It holds up so well and it just beautiful. The story between the Apples and the Pears is one of my favorite versions of the classic Romeo and Juliet story.

On the edge of tears listening to 1984 by George Orwell (this is my first time reading it) and hearing the words “By 2050, earlier, probably, all real knowledge of oldspeak will have disappeared. The whole literature of the past will have been destroyed. Chaucer, Shakespeare, Milton, Byron. They’ll exist only in newspeak versions; not merely changed into something different, but actually changed into something contradictory of what they used to be” whilst living in a world where people are using AI to summarise books into paragraphs to read them.

Character Profile: Aurora

Full Name:  Aurora Ruxandra Dalca Kingdom: Remisos Generation: 4

Aurora is the second child of Darius and Yuli. As the middle child of the Dalca Clan, she is constantly running off to do her own thing regardless of her elder sister’s plans. She is known for having a warm and bubbly personality. She becomes one of the welcomers of the Kingdom, serving as the nighttime face of the kingdom to visitors. She is loud and rambunctious, pranking younger servants to pass the time. She, like her sister, enjoys her new kingdom but misses her parents terribly.
