Xi it is 11:28 P.M. on a Friday night and I’m staring at a wall, thinking of college bf!Roy Harper being an absolute degenerate. Just thought you’d understand 😵‍💫

sleazy boyfriend roy harper is the worst!

if that’s what you could call him. he asked you out after he’d gotten you so drunk, when he called you his girlfriend the following day, you were overly confused.

but at least he asked you on dates! y’know… dates that happened at 11pm on a friday night at his frat house. dates where dinner wasn’t involved, but he still paid for you! i mean, he paid the guy at the liquor store for all the vodka and tequila that he poured you. allowing you to drink your weight in liquor, isn’t he so considerate? not all guys will do that for their girlfriends, you should be grateful.

plus, it’s not like he’s leaving your side… well, unless beer pong is involved. baby, you don’t get it, he doesn’t have to buy liquor for the next party if he wins. does that mean he’ll take you to dinner on your next date? c’mon, baby, now you’re asking too much.

once he sees your eyes become half lidded and your legs start to buckle under your weight, he’ll happily carry you up to his bed. but, c’mon! don’t blame him if he wants a taste of you. just close your eyes and go to sleep baby, it’s your boyfriend. you know he won’t do any wrong!

Ballister and Ambrosius :

Once fellow knights at the Institution, Ballister and Ambrosius went their separate ways the day Ballister lost his arm. Now rejected by all -but the amazing Nimona-, Ballister's slowly but surely become the archnemesis of his ex companion, the Institution's golden boy. Could Nimona assigning herself as Ballister's sidekick with the will of destroying Ambrosius put an end to their chaotic relationship ?

Maria and Marcus :

Those two did something interesting to me as a reader : they surprised me.

Fair warning : about every character in this series is a wreck, which you can easily explain by the fact that they were sent to a school where you're taught how to assassinate people.

I didn't expect to ship Maria and Marcus. I didn't even think at first that I would like Maria. They have a ton of issues. But those two characters ? They also happen to have so much will, so much life in them despite it all, you hope they'll get through it all. Through the trials they showed they could evolve, they showed they could grow and be good for each other and I grew fond of them and their love story.

After the machine had stopped moving…Maria slowly walked out and examined her surroundings. Bright…ugh…like usual… She walked out of the strange room that she was previously in and looked around for a few moments to take in her surroundings, and to make sure that no toy was up here before she decided to finally look up at the sign.

ELLIOT’S EXPRESS

Huh….strange. She sighed and moved some hair out of her face. She then turned around and begin walking when she heard….foot steps? No…she’s probably hearing things. She continued walking but heard them again. Maria’s eyes widened as she immediately grabbed her bat and turned around. She looked around rapidly, breathing heavily in a mix of anxiety and adrenaline. After a few seconds of…nothing…she sighed and slowly turned back around when…

Caleb: “So….where we going?”

Maria: “GAH-!”

She yelled, swiftly turning to Caleb and nearly hitting him in the face with her bat. Luckily she managed to stop herself JUST in time to not bash his head in. She let out a gasp and a few huffs before glaring, taking a stomp as she stepped forward towards him.

Maria: “Caleb! What are you doing up here!? Did you follow me!?

Caleb flinched and took a small step back. He went to fix his shirt as he rushed to explain what he was doing here in the first place.

Caleb: “Damn! Sorry! I was just in my room when I heard somebody walking down the halls and thought “hey, why don’t I go check it out?”. So when I left me room, I THOUGHT it was a toy at first but then I realized it was you, from the sound of your shoes. So I decided to go and follow you, just to see what you were doing.”

Maria stared at him, her eyes widened in a mix of shock and sheer annoyance. She lowered her hands before rubbing her temple.

Maria: “You….knew I wasn’t a toy…JUST from the sound of my shoes?”

Caleb: “Yes.”

She slowly begun to glare at him before groaning and slapping her face then letting her hand fall. She looked around before grumbling and looking back at Caleb, her expression was stern.

Maria: “just know…I’m ONLY letting you come with me because I DONT want to go back down and risk getting caught. So stay quiet! Got it?”

Caleb: “Well…I can try.”

Maria: “…Good.”

She slowly started walking again. She looked down at a flight of stairs and grabbed onto the wall before slowly and cautiously making her way down. The walk down stairs and through the place was quiet before she finally registered something…tugging on her. She looked back at Caleb and noticed him grabbing onto her jacket.

Maria: “what are you doing?

Caleb: “Just…hanging on.”

Maria: “….Fine. Just don’t hold me back or anything.”

Maria gave him a harsh look before sighing and turning back and continuing down the complex mix of rooms and halls. She was about to turn a corner when she heard a loud crunch and immediately ran back behind the wall, grabbing Caleb and pulling him with her. Before he could speak, she quickly slapped a hand over his mouth and looked back around the corner at whatever was making that…gross sound. Her eyes widened when she saw it. Was that…another toy?

It LOOKED like a yellow mannequin. With red and blue hands, shoulders and joints. It seemed to have…pale hands for feet, a pair of small wings and a halo…it was crouched over something that looked to have been bleeding…Maria flinched as the mannequin ripped another chunk of what seemed to be flesh off the thing. She looked back at Caleb and whispered to him.

Maria: “Hey…we’ve…we’ve got danger. Stay quiet, I’ll try and think of something.”

Maria glanced at the floor for something and noticed a decently large rock lying around in a pile. She looked back at the mannequin and tightened her grip on her bat.
