The room looks like a tornado just blew through it.

A very flustered, very cute tornado.

“Sokka?”

He peeks over the side of the bed, out of breath as some hair falls into his face. “Oh. Hey Baby.”

“What are you—"

“No time to chat.” He pivots and hops up from the floor, making a beeline to their dresser to start rummaging around in it. “I’m gonna be late.”

Zuko crosses the room until he's at Sokka’s side. “The group doesn’t start for—” After a quick glance at his watch, he realizes, “Four hours? Sokka, you’re fine—"

Sokka curses under his breath, his eyes frantic as he scours their now disorganized clothes. “Fuck. Have you seen my glasses? I can’t find them anywhere and that’s the last thing I need right now—”

“Yes, actually.” Zuko reaches up and carefully plucks them off the top of his head, handing them over.

Sheepishly, Sokka takes them and hooks them into the collar of his shirt. “Thank you. Sorry," he sighs. "I'm a mess."

Zuko offers a gentle smile, pulling him in with an arm around his waist and a kiss to his temple. “S’ok, Sweetheart. What’s wrong?”
