Weekly Wiki Recap (Episode 2)

Hello! Moth here, welcome to our Wiki Recap! Thanks to users letting me spotlight their posts, I have much more to talk about this week!

Starting off with new users, we welcome Rillow (he/she/it) to the wiki!

Moving onto art posted, Brojogon posted this very cute creature based on ":pgender"!

Next, we had a /lot/ of coinings this week! Starting with The-Video-Star7's coinings, he coined Purplestaric and Pastelpunkdoll flags on Monday. A few days ago he also made flags for Lunarluneboy and Lunarsolgirl. Switching users, 8yeetus8 coined flags for Rainvoidic and Deminonbinary. KittehPuppy had two mass coinings this week, which included !gender, Genderdiscontinued, Mixlexic, Flashgender, Gmodgender, Garryconstructic, Garryflatgrassic, FLstudiogender, Hatelexic, Genderyes, Genderno, and flags for Kricketotgender and Kricketunegender. In a separate post, it also created flags for Surskitgender, Masqueraingender, Weedlegender, Kakunagender, Beedrillgender, and Shucklegender. Of course I need to highlight my own coings of the Moonchaotic flag and the "-connec" suffix! Finally, FallingPetalssz coined Liafian this week!

Now that we're done going through the mountain of coinings, we can move to the main wiki event this week, we hit 6000 pages! Multiple times. Three times, if I remember correctly. (Thanks Adrian/Xen for deleting pages).

I saw the ones you added and they all look fine! My only limit is please don’t add any of my terms that I coined before August 2021, I want to recoin/remake a lot of them.

greetings and salutations genderinos. Are you looking for something to do? Well look no further! We here on the gender wiki have a project that we need your help with.

the gist of it is this. We have a page regarding passing tips. However, it is specifically trans masculine passing tips, and there doesn’t seem to be a trans feminine one. This was noticed a while back, and so there immediately was a call to action on the wiki for creating a transfem tips page as well, since this wiki is all about helping everyone, so we should have resources for a wide variety of people.

however, we quickly came across a problem. Theres a significant lack of users active on the wiki (at least in the discussions page) who have reliable knowledge or tips for this page (if any at all). This means we’re stuck in a rut. We have a responsibility to make this page, but we don’t have reliable resources to do so.

that’s where you all come in. If you happen to have any knowledge that you feel would be helpful for this page, please, head on down to the wiki and contribute your wisdom. Your work would be greatly appreciated.

Ok so yesterday I started streaming the Celeste: Strawberry Jam Advanced Heartside in one of the VCs in a discord server. At about, I wanna say 15 minutes in? Lui said:

Lui: I can't get over how much you sound like GD Colon but 15

Me: I'm not sure whether to think of that as an insult or a compliment

Lui: Neither but not in a bad way

Me: ...what's the bad way???

Lui: Neither in a bad way, ofc. Could be compared to a demiboy or demigirl tbh.

Me: What's a demiboy?

So I looked it up, and found myself on the gender wiki which, instead of just explaining what a demiboy was, it also linked other related pages. This led me down a huge rabbit hole. Some of the shit was so funny that we just kept looking. When I got back to playing Celeste, the timer was at 2 hours. I spent 2 hours looking at genders.

Anyways, John Money as a name goes raw asf, The Alibinary System being abbreviated as TAS is really funny to me, so is Xenogender apparently going "beyond the human understandings of gender," why is there Greengender.

Someone made a "festive" Nonbinary flag design that looks so fucking horrendous (CattosWiki if you're reading i am NOT sorry you spent like 5 minutes on your design) that I made a better one in the VC. (Left, CattosWiki's design. Right, my design.)

Also, Lui made two designs as well.

Also, there's no Mariogender, but there is a Luigigender. Why? I have no idea. Luigigender is also exactly what you think it is. Just focused around Luigi, like the video game character.
