He's awake after blacking out for a day and half. Last thing he remembers is watching the Wizard of Oz and guzzling prosecco. Looks like he missed Boxing Day!

@gctchell ⧐ A storm of sand has kicked up around Alastor's legs, Niffty running in rapid circles with too much pent up excitement in her system. There's a sound of chittering and giggling, and she skitters up his legs to perch on his shoulder and offer him the star with a colorful selection of gel pens. "Hi, sir." She's grinning very big at him. "Can you autograph this so I can remember it forever?" BEACH BALOOZA ASKS.

Ah, there she was! He'd expected, at some point, for her to find him with the enthusiasm befitting of the winner that she was. So he gave no mind whatsoever to the scaling of his person - she had that privilege, even before being the beholder of that silly little star in her possession.

"An autograph? Hm. I suppose I can. That thrilled that you won, eh? I was not surprised."

She had the energy and talent for the thing, in any case. And he reached to pluck one of those pens from her, scrawling his name in a haphazard, but still legible scribble. He never claimed to have perfect handwriting.

  WITH THE NEW YEAR comes a new yet familiar strain of terror, its clutches tight ‘pon the neck of those unable to find proper shelter: however delightful screams truly may be, and no matter how much he may enjoy the suffering of other beings, there’s a caution and even dread that accompanies each Hellish Extermination ( how close are the winged beasts to their current location? ). The dull brightness of screens illuminate the room, providing view of the slaughter that takes place just above -— & a knot tied around his heart PREVENTS him from properly resting throughout the entire ordeal… Ergal do his eyes remain fixed onto the cameras before them both whilst sat, taking note of everything that may go down.

  Even so, he finds some comfort in her presence ( rather, all of their company! for their daughters had MOVED elsewhere within the bunker, once exhaustion had finally taken its toll ), and it's through the slight furrowing of her brows at one point that his heart clenches suddenly, & painful thoughts do resurface. ( it's a dizzying thing..! ) The arms wrapped ‘round her midsection shift to hold her tighter just so, and tension-ridden shoulders hunch so he can lean down -— a whisper beside her ear is spoken most reverently, ���I love you.” Forehead nuzzles the top of her head ( soft, ivory hair tickling his polished shell! ); not the first time such sentiments have been spoken aloud the past year ( and o, how lucky is he to have had it at last returned! ), but the intensity and DEPTH held within has remained unchanged.

  He doesn't expect an answer, not really. It's but a plain statement, and a little thing that's begged to be voiced now and again. A reassurance: I'm HERE. And this time, he is.

5. what is your muse's ideal first date? to alastor, a first date that is not deemed an actual date is best (even if it is one). He's sort of old fashioned in the sense that he appreciates a casual outing with coffee or breakfast, some nice conversation, and a mutual sharing of interests. It is a quick way for him to determine whether or not he can click with the other individual if he can engage in conversation with them without triggering something too combative in the other (though depending on what type of combative they are, that might intrigue him more than turn him off). In any case, casual is best. He needs an out in case he is not interested. 10. has your muse ever been cheated on? would they ever cheat on their partner(s)? alastor has never been cheated on - primarily because it takes him forever to actually consider himself to be in an exclusive "relationship". So thus far, there have not been any situations where he might be. By the same measure, Alastor would not cheat on a partner. It takes him forever to attach himself to someone to begin with - attaching himself to TWO someones in the same way is nigh impossible. (The only exception being his universe with @voxtekoverlord and @daddymothxxx where he may be developing something for Valentino as well.) 16. what is/are your muse's love language(s)? acts of service and quality time. he appreciates when someone does things for him (that may not necessarily be gifts but rather things like favors or 'just because' displays of affection). and sharing time and space together is peak. physical affection can be nice, but Alastor values being able to co-exist without any expectation for there to be physical or sexual engagement. he normally chooses to offer these things freely, but once it becomes a 'you must', then he is prickly and distant. spend quiet time with him and he will choose those things of his own volition.

WHAM ! Niffty's flying out of the blue and latching herself onto Alastor's head, nuzzling into his hair and hugging him tight. She might be taking a little advantage of the day.

Like two magnets or perhaps, more accurately, like a bug would find itself splatted across the windshield of an oncoming car, he's suddenly found himself saddled with a head of Niffty.

❝ Good evening to you as well, ❞ he says, giving her a little pat on the head. He really does allow her to get away with far too much. It's unlikely to change anytime soon.
