How does Alastor take romantic rejection on the rare occasion that he has feelings for someone?

Badly, to say it bluntly.

Alastor's affection is hard to win - and affection must be won before he considers someone to be a romantic partner. I have spoken at times about it before, but this is a deeply controlling man who will hold tight to his possessions and will never let them go. It would be his way only - now he would never force himself upon someone, but you can guarantee he will keep tabs on them.

Other potential partners may turn up dead for the poor soul, and their shadow would always possess a crown of antlers. Alastor's sin is Gluttony - he desires to consume every aspect of a person. Body, mind, soul, until it is entirely his. And even then he will want more.

There's a chance he could become aggressive, though this would be dependent on the strength of the person he is interested in. If Alastor cannot have someone in romance, he will take it in battle. In his mind, that is still a form of closeness. Every blow taken and given is a mark - he is still close to them.

If Alastor likes you enough to consider you worthy of his trust, and therefore his relationship, you will have already seen all the red flags, it's not like he's subtle about it.

Do not start a game you do not intend on playing through till the end.

Alastor weighs about 100 pounds soaking wet. He's very easy to carry around, not helped by that fact that he's small in comparison to others.
