Q. Are Ninomiya-san and Kako-san able to understand each other based on the fact both like "talented people"?

A. Ninomiya seems to focus more on talent as "a piece that form the unit" while Kako-san seems to focus on talent that "shines as an individual", so maybe they don't have much to talk about

Q. Why are there so few Shooters?

A. I think it's because the top 3 Shooters, Ninomiya, Izumi and Kako-san, in many ways set an example that's hard to follow, and because the approach of "raising and adjusting the level of performance with tools(guns)" seems more possible.

Q. Who was the fastest member to be promoted to A rank after enlistment?

A. The conditions for being promoted to A rank have changed little by little as more members join, so it's hard to say, but I think Narasaka, Utagawa and Kikuchihara were the fastest.

A. Raijinmaru looks like a strong being, so I'm sure she's fine.

A. I may have already answered this, but it was either Oki or Tonooka. Tonooka would have been ranked 3rd in that training, so if he managed to escape Toma, number 338 would have been Oki.

A. I think it's cause of his cockiness and lack of modesty towards the other party.

A. Viza is a rather rare case, but it is common for people in their 30s and 40s to still be on the front line.

Q. When Gatlin, Rata and Wen So were disguised as Idras was it thanks to Servitora(Straw soldiers)? Is Servitora a different trigger as it seems to set up somewhere else?

A. It's a trigger called "Katoptron"[kanji: headdress] that reads the shape of nearby objects or people and transforms your and your allies' Trion body into that shape.

Q. What did Yuma think of his father's Side Effect?

A. Until he inherited it, he thought it "sounds convenient"

Q. If Yuma lies, does it make him sick cause of his Side Effect?

A. I don't think so, but when he looks in the mirror, maybe he'll see smoke coming out of his own mouth?

A. He probably doesn't think they are close, but he does talk to Hikari and Muller at school.

Q. At the end of vol 20 you mentioned Arashiyama "forces Jin to go on dog walks with him", you mean by going over to Tamakoma and picking him up?

A. Yes, if Jin doesn't show up at the meeting place he does that, but most of the time, Jin does show up by himself.

A—‘A’ IS FOR AFFECTION (how affectionate are they?)

At the beginning of your relationship, or any moment before your relationship has started, Levi is not affectionate at all. He tends to keep his distance, only ever offering you a helping hand, or in very rare instances a gentle tap on your shoulder. But once the two of you start dating things are a little different. He keeps most of his affection behind closed doors, always wanting to keep those moments solely between the two of you. But he is definitely more affectionate than people will expect, he loves to hold you in his arms when the two of you are cuddling. Tracing his fingers across your skin is one of his favourite ways to touch you, he loves it because it's so easy for him to do while the two of you are sitting together, he does it so absentmindedly that sometimes he doesn't even realise. And it's the cutest thing ever.

B—‘B’ IS FOR BESTFRIEND (what are they like as a bestie?)

He's a very good friend, he's trustworthy and kind to those he values, but it's hard to get past his tough exterior and into his inner circle as he's very selective on those he befriends, and even those people he likes have a hard time getting to know him at first. It will take a long time for him to open up to you, even if you've known him and been friends for a while, but once you've gained his trust and respect you’ll find that his friendship will become one of the most sturdy and reliable you've ever had.

C—‘C’ IS FOR CUDDLES (how do they like to cuddle?)

He loves to both be held by you, and hold you. There's something about having you locked between his arms that grants him a sense of peace that he cannot get anywhere else. He loves being able to have his arms gripping your body. And even better when you bury your head in his chest, he loves knowing that you can feel his heart beating, and that you're feeling the warmth from his body. When you lock your legs between his, and wrap your arms around his torso it makes him feel like the safest, luckiest man in the world.

D—‘D’ IS FOR DOMESTIC (settling down? how will they be helping out around?)

He never thought he'd get close to settling down with anyone, he never had marriage or relationships on his mind, and he was perfectly content with that. But when he met you, and got to know you, his views began to change. He started to realise that he needed to be with you, for as long as he could manage. He's very good at small, domestic things. He loves helping you cook, even if his preferred meals are on the easy and simple side, and he's very good at keeping things clean and tidy.

E—‘E’ IS FOR ENDING (how would breakups work out?)

I can see this going one of two ways to be honest. It's either going to be a quick, slightly silly breakup—the two of you have a disagreement, and Levi gets scared or worried about the confrontation, choosing to leave instead of sitting and talking it out with you (this is one of those breakups that doesn't last long, you find him after a few hours and force him to talk to you. You know he still loves you, but he hasn't got a lot of experience with the tougher parts of a relationship, and he has a very avoidant personality.) Or, on the sadder side, the two of you will have a really long, drawn out breakup. One of those breakups where you slowly drift apart, refusing to acknowledge the issues you need to work on, just snapping at each other or straight up ignoring each other to the point where you're barely talking for days at a time. 

F—‘F’ IS FOR FIANCÉE (how do they feel about commitment?)

Levi isn't afraid of commitment, I think that once he's in a relationship with you he finds the idea of marriage/a life with you incredibly appealing, and it’s something that he will strive for. He probably won't be open about this, especially to people that aren't you—in fact I think he comes off to other people as a very anti-marriage, anti-commitment type of guy—but once he finds someone that truly understands him, that makes him feel loved and cared for and happy, he’ll want to do everything in his power to keep them as close to him as he can, for as long as he can.

G—‘G’ IS FOR GENTLE (how gentle are they?)

He is extremely gentle, he's constantly aware of you and your comfort, it will always be a priority for him to make you as comfortable as he possibly can. Although his strength is something that is hard to match, his hands are always so soft when he holds you, his grip is never rough or tight, he always traces your skin with the utmost gentleness. I think he's so scared of hurting you, of coming on too strong, or damaging you, that it takes a lot of work to bring him around to the fact that you aren't as delicate as you look, and that you won't break if he holds you just a little bit harder. A lot of that fear stems from his childhood, he's seen what uncaring men can do to people that they deem lesser than themselves, and he never ever wants to treat you like that.

H—‘H’ IS FOR HUGS (do they like hugs?)

Not really, I think Levi is extremely, extremely selective about who he gives hugs to. He doesn't like people in his space like that, he doesn't need their breath that close to his face, he's perfectly content with a handshake, or a verbal show of appreciation. The only people he'd ever consider allowing to hug him are you, and Erwin probably. Sometimes Hange, but they can get a tad over excited when it happens, so it's a very rare occasion.

I—‘I’ IS FOR I LOVE YOU (how long does it take them to say the ‘l word?’)

A long time. I think this is because he would be so unsure whether the feelings he had were truly love that he'd spend ages agonising over every detail, trying to decipher his own feelings. He hasn't had many healthy experiences of love in his life, not even from his family, so there's very few experiences that he can draw from. He wants to make sure that the words are true when he says them, because he knows he cares for you deeply, and he would never want to lie or deceive you, even accidentally.

J—‘J’ IS FOR JEALOUSY (how do they get jealous?)

Levi is a jealous and possessive person—and he doesn't care how it sounds, if you're dating him then you're his, there's no way around that—but he is also very calm in the way he shows it. If someone is talking to you and they're leaning a little bit too close Levi will just stare at them, he'll watch with his eyes narrowed, looking for any indication or flicker on the person's features that they're a threat to you—if he ever thought you were uncomfortable or in danger he would be at the person talking to you and pinning them to the floor like his life depended on it—but if it just looked like they were annoying you then Levi would leave you to it, until he decided too much time had past and he wanted you back for himself. And if you're standing right next to Levi and someone is continually flirting with you as if he's completely invisible, putting their hands on you or asking you if you've got a boyfriend, making you laugh or offering to buy you a drink, then Levi's reaction is a little different. He hates the idea that some guy could even dare to think he'd have a chance at taking you away, his insecurities would eat away at his confidence all night, even though you had shown absolutely no interest in the person flirting with you. Levi would probably be extra quiet for the rest of the day, he wouldn't appear any different to those looking from the outside, but you would be able to tell that something was wrong. Waiting until the two of you are alone would be the best way to confront his cold attitude, he’d be characteristically standoffish towards you, initially refusing to admit what has him so upset. It would take a while to get him to open up about the problem, he wouldn't want to admit that the root cause of his attitude was his jealousy, or that he hated feeling like you deserved better than him. I think he would need lots of reassurance that he is deserving of you, and that those random people flirting with you, or making fun of your relationship, mean nothing. 

K—‘K’ IS FOR KISSES (what's their kissing schedule?)

He is big on good morning and goodnight kisses, he swears that he always sleeps better when the last thing he does before sleeping is kiss you. And he definitely loves kissing you as a form of greeting when the two of you are in private, he loves to hold you by the waist and press a gentle kiss to your lips, always following this by a soft whisper of “hello”. But other than the routine kisses I think that he sometimes forgets to kiss you, he forgets that kisses are something that he can give you at any time of the day, and that they don't have to be for a special reason—kissing you just because is something you’ll have to remind him is okay.

L—‘L’ IS FOR LITTLE ONES (how are they around kids?)

He is great around kids, but he doesn't get the opportunity to be around them very often. For some reason kids—especially toddlers—really like him. It could be to do with his calm, slightly relaxing demeanour, or the fact that the way he speaks is always on the quieter side, never raising his voice. He never disrespects children, and he finds it utterly repulsive that anyone on this earth would ever purposely treat children horribly. He refuses to be a bad influence on children, and when he is around them he never wants to have any sort of negative impact on their lives. He wants them to have as great a life as they can, and so he does his best to answer any questions they have—even if they are on the sillier side. It makes your heart soar when you walk into a room and see him sitting on the floor, surrounded by a circle of children all hanging onto his every word. For some reason children just trust him, and he never understands it, but he always welcomes it, even if it does distract him from whatever dinner party/ meeting/ trip that he is meant to be focusing on.

M—‘M’ IS FOR MORNINGS (how will your mornings go?)

You will very rarely wake up and find Levi still in bed next to you. He wakes up early almost everyday, and he likes to start his days with a quick, cold shower. Sometimes he will workout in the mornings, and he will shower post workout, but he will always have some kind of healthy drink when he wakes, whether it be a smoothie type thing, fresh juice, or even something as simple as a green tea. He will always make you a cup of whatever he makes himself, and he also likes to pour you a cool glass of water with lemon as well—he drinks his before his shower. But on the rare instance you manage to get him to stay in bed with you the two of you like to read together, or, more accurately, Levi props himself up with pillows and reads his book aloud to you, while you snuggle close to his chest, and run your fingernails along his thighs. 

N—‘N’ IS FOR NIGHTS (how will your nights go?)

Nights with Levi are easy, and simple. He is at his most calm during the evening. I think that once he’s back home, able to shed his clothes from the day and see you safe and happy, he gives himself permission to relax. He always takes some time on his own when he comes home, usually ranging within 30-90 minutes, he adores your company and he loves just being with you, but he needs time to recharge at his own pace, with no one bothering or talking to him. He does a variety of things during this time—reading, bathing, resting his eyes (you would call this meditating, but Levi is adamant that it is not). Often he also does mundane, easy chores such as folding laundry or sweeping up. He finds the routine and simplicity of these things enjoyable, and they're able to ground him back to reality when he’s very overwhelmed or stressed. The two of you love to cook together in the evenings, whether one of you sits and observes, making sure the other is following the recipe correctly, or both of you tackling the dish together, it doesn't matter, as long as you are both in the kitchen. The time together is the most important part. Levi also loves to listen to music at night, he usually puts something on around the time the two of you are making dinner, and it typically stays on all night, right up until bedtime, unless you decide to watch something together. On the days when he feels the most happy, he loves to grab your hand and gently sway with you to the music—his equivalent of dancing.

O—‘O’ IS FOR OPEN (when will they tell you about themself?)

It takes a long time for Levi to open up to you, especially about his childhood, and more widely, any moment before he met Erwin. It's hard to tell when Levi is willing to talk about his past, because he will never bring it up first, he waits for you to ask, but the problem with that is that you never want to pry, or seem like you're trying to push him towards being open, so it doesn't always line up easily. As time goes on he will find it easier to tell you things, but he will never want it to be a full blown conversation, he won't want to have the attention on him for that amount of time, he'd rather tell you a couple things really quickly, and then have you sit in silence while thinking about them. Which isn't the most sustainable form of opening up, but with time he will be able to properly, actually, talk to you about his past without feeling like he's being too vulnerable and wanting to run away.

P—‘P’ IS FOR PATIENCE (how patient are they with you?)

He’s extremely patient with you, but I think that also comes from the fact that he’s expecting you to be the same with him too, and of course you are, but his inexperience with romantic relationships makes him constantly worried during the beginning of your relationship that he’s not doing enough, or he’s doing too much, or he’s doing it wrong. So your patience with him during those stages is probably what would make or break your relationship. And if you’re also inexperienced, or you’re nervous to do things with him, he’d always be happy to wait, and to take things as slow as you need to, all he’d ask is that you communicate what you need from him, because he hates having to guess.

Q—‘Q’ IS FOR QUIZZES (how much do they remember about you?)

At the beginning of your relationship he is terrible at remembering things about you, he’s trying his best to get to know you—although if you’ve started dating then it’s likely you’ve been friends for a while before this, so he is familiar with some things about you—but he’s more focused on navigating the changes that come when entering a new relationship. But as he gets more comfortable with you, as he learns and develops as a boyfriend, he’d start to be able to recall the small, silly things that you’ve said to him in passing—the sort of things you say as a joke, or your favourite way to load a dishwasher. As for the bigger stuff, he writes it down. He doesn't want to forget the important stuff, so he makes notes of it—it started with things like your parents names, their birthdays, how many siblings you have, but it worked it’s way towards your favourite ways to be kissed by him, the best way he can show you love, and most recently, the different engagement ring types you've said to him are your favourite.

R—‘R’ IS FOR REMEMBER (what is his favourite moment in your relationship?)

The first time that he put his arm around your waist in public. He doesn't know why, but that moment makes his heart flutter every time he thinks about it. It was only a couple of weeks after you'd started officially dating, the two of you were out with some friends—Erwin, Hange, Petra, and numerous members of Miche’s squad. Levi hadn’t planned on making any sort of big announcement about your relationship, but Hange had taken it upon themselves to make sure everyone knew. Your face had heated up from all the attention, but Levi saw the smile you were trying to hide, and he felt his own face redden too, although all he reacted with was a scoff and a roll of his eyes. It was an hour or so later, the two of you were talking quietly with Erwin, when a large, rather loud, group entered the room you were all in. Levi had felt you tense, and without thinking he wrapped his arm around your waist. He saw Erwin raise his eyebrows, but luckily the blonde said nothing of the affection Levi was giving you. He excused himself, leaving you and Levi alone, and as Levi turned to you, he was about to remove his arm when he saw the smile on your face—this time you were not trying to hide it at all. You placed your hand on top of Levi’s, forcing him to keep his arm in place, and Levi remembers how happy it had made him, knowing that he had helped you to feel safe, and he was surprised to find that he wasn't embarrassed by the pda—although, he was relieved that Hange hadn't gotten a glimpse of it, he dreaded to think of the whistles and yelling that would have taken place had they seen it.

S—‘S’ IS FOR SECURITY (how protective are they of you?)

Extremely protective. Every time the two of you are out together his eyes are peeled for any sort of danger or uncomfortable situation that could occur, he steers you clear of large groups of men, drunk people shouting and any other thing that could make you feel unsafe. He also has a hard time letting others take you away from him, even when he knows you'll be completely fine—if the two of you are hanging out with friends and one of them tries to steal you away from Levi so you can have gossip time/a private catch up, Levi is always hesitant, even though he will still be able to see you. 

T—‘T’ IS FOR TRY (how much effort do they put into dates? special occasions?)

He tries his best, especially on special occasions, but it takes a lot of practice for him to be good at planning dates. That sort of thing usually just slips his mind, he forgets that you might want to go out with him to eat dinner/watch a movie/attend a show etc. But he's a little better with special occasions, although they usually have a slightly negative effect on him—he’ll be so worried and stressed about making sure he has the perfect gift and the perfect plan for you that he gets so tense you have to remind him that it's okay if things aren't perfect, as long as the two of you are together then whatever you do will be amazing. He's just so worried about letting you down, or losing you:(

U—‘U’ IS FOR UGLY (what's a bad habit of theirs?)

He's really picky about his organisation. Even if you are a clean person, and generally keep your space tidy, he will always have something to say about it. He is quite rigid when it comes to this, and it can make him quite hard to live with at first since he will refuse to budge from the way he wants to do things. 

V—‘V’ IS FOR VANITY (how insecure are they?)

He's not insecure with his looks—he's never really given them much thought, and he's never needed too. As long as he looks neat and respectable it doesn't matter to him whether other people consider him attractive. But I do think he’s insecure within your relationship, he's probably so scared during the first few months that he's going to screw up, or lose you in some way and make you hate him, that he's over careful, extra quiet, and refuses to disagree with you—to the point where he’s almost miserable because he’s bottling too much stuff up. He's so insecure of his boyfriend abilities, he thinks his lack of experience is going to cause major issues.

W—‘W’ IS FOR WHOLE (would they feel incomplete without you?)

Yes and no. I don't think Levi needs a romantic relationship in order to feel complete. I think he's perfectly content by himself. But once you've penetrated his inner circle, once you've lived with him, shown him the darkest parts of yourself, and not ran from his darkest parts, I think he wouldn't want to be apart from you. He wouldn't want to have his walls broken down for nothing. He wouldn’t want to lose the part of him that you helped nurture and develop.

X—‘X’ IS FOR XTRA (a random headcanon about them?)

Levi loves art. He has sketchbooks filled with small pencil drawings of you, your house, your pets, and silly things like the telephone, cutlery and desk chairs. He doesn't care if anyone thinks he's good or not (although, he is amazing), he just finds it really relaxing, and he likes to be able to have a hobby that doesn't involve screens or anything electronic. He most often works in pencil, but he likes to experiment with pen, and very occasionally he will use acrylic paints when he wants to paint a big scene like a garden, flowers, or anything landscape related. 

Y—‘Y’ IS FOR YUCK (what are some things they dislike?)

Levi dislikes the modernisation of communication—he loves having a landline and being able to just pick up the phone and call someone, but he knows most people won’t answer a call out of the blue (and this is not to say he hates texting, he actually find it quite useful, but there's just something about speaking over the phone that he finds comforting.) He dislikes how many different social medias you’re expected to have just to be able to keep up to date with people—he has a whatsapp account, an instagram that he only uses to like your photos and occasionally scroll through the recommended for you page (his account is empty, you had to change his profile picture yourself because he refused to do it), and a facebook account that has gone unused since it was created because he forgot the password and he doesn't care enough to reset it. He dislikes people invading his personal space, whether they are his friends or complete strangers. He dislikes people shouting to their friends in the street, and he hates going clubbing (too many people, too close together, too loud). He also dislikes overly sweet food, he can barely eat one bite if it's too sugary.

Z—‘Z’ IS FOR ZZZ (some of their sleeping habits?)

He's both a night owl and a morning person, since he doesn't need a lot of sleep to be able to function. He usually gets 5-6 hours each night, but he will always sleep in with you when you ask. He doesn't wear pyjamas, he usually just wears a pair of loose boxers and some light shorts, although in the winter sometimes he chooses trousers over shorts. He never wears a t-shirt to bed. He loves to have a cup of tea before bed, usually about an hour before he sleeps, and he likes to read before sleeping. He likes to sleep under a light/medium tog duvet, as he's usually cold when he gets in bed, but he warms up pretty fast and he'd prefer to be cool in bed than too hot. He hates noise when he's trying to sleep, but he doesn't mind light.

They talked about the disappearances to her and Dar'leen gave some useful insight into both cases, particularly about her experience with Strangerville and its dangers.

You two sound really worried…can I be of any help? Renee: Oh Sergeant! I'm Renee and this is my cousin Charlie. We've got a difficult situation right now.

[The two explain everything. First about the the disappearance of Vincent then about Veronica's letter] Dar'leen: You're right. You should find out if he's with relatives, if not I would report him as missing immediately. Report him to San Myshuno investigation department, Detective Reichmann's team is best at handling it.

Charlie: Yeah we should tell my Dad about this. We're all really worried at this point. Dar'leen: Ah I see! You are his family, you two do look alike! I was at a conference with him earlier. Charlie: My Dad is really busy now isn't he? [Dar'leen nods her head while reading the letter]

Genuinely intrigued by the potential of Peri and Irep's dynamic but only in a platonic way so I end up not vibing with the fandom's portrayal of it 😔😔😔

Now they're enemies, with both actively fighting each other, and Irep going so far as to try and kill Peri's parents. What happened? When? What influenced it? Did they ever become friends, or did it nosedive the moment the cameras turned off? What about Sammy? How do Irep's parents factor into this? Could it ever be fixed? There's just so much we haven't seen, and romance just feels like too easy a solution to me. Let their friendship be easy to break, fragile. Let them have to work to keep the connection. Fairies and Anti-Fairies are literally made to be opposites, so what happens when two genuinely and truly become friends?)

okay so. all we know right now is that all sticks to begin with have a script. and that it starts with their name and influences their destiny?/powers. its obviously notable with the hollowheads and also but im rambling on other sticks as well

i have lots of questions about how much code and programs work in the universe and influences everyone. the first obvious question is the coding of tdl with their command of destroying chosen. i adore the interpretation of it still affecting them in some way in the fandom !!!! however in canon it isnt elaborated upon. which begs the question of did it affect them? if it did, just how much did it affect them?? was any of this code left in their programming?? if it did affect them, how did they manage it??? have they tried to mess with their programming?? honestly, how did they start programming in the first place???? since they came directly from the pc, interacted with programs and the fact that code wouldve been useful in their terrors its not surprising for them at all to code by themselves, but no other hollowheads were shown to master it to a point of creating something — could it been the consequence of trying to remove their command? another question, if it was still somehow left in them, how did it affect them during showdown?

one of the interpretations of it that it's been "dormant" and that their need of destroying had shown itself in their seven year long reign of terror and why it was SO hard for them to back off. and that the showdown eventually made both dark and chosen to go "back to their roots". but since the command was targeted on chosen specifically i believe that if thats were the case the need to destroy wouldve been expressed to him and not to the whole web (god all this stuff opens so many ideas for them)

my second big wonder that i have is about the creation of chosen himself. as i mentioned in my rb all hollowheads attacked only when they felt threatened or had a command ingrained into them like with dark. except chosen

he attacked the second that he was born without being threatened. just by getting his name. (its also interesting to note the names noogai considered before bringing him to life – again victim, killer and BEAST. did any of that influence chosen too?). in the instant messenger conversation programmer021 mentioned stickmen having levels which i believe is most widely interpreted in a non literal sense, just in the "how powerful is he" way. but if it is used in a somewhat literal sense? it opens a big conception of leveling??? and that being the "chosen one" is, supposedly, one of the highest levels possible for a stickman to have. and the fact that making him the chosen one was called a suicide???? god

it isnt really known from the series alone how much being the chosen one influences a stickman or a creation in general besides having very high levels of power. at the same time, having powers isnt an instant call to attack — unless there are in-universe rules that suppose that being the chosen one immediately means destruction being ingrained into a sticks code. but if thats the case... how much would it influence chosen as well?? wouldnt he have an innate, coded need of destruction too? and if its like this, how would he come back down from it? and if it goes in hand with tdls command too, why it was easier for him to denounce destruction than to tdl? does being the chosen one imply a variety of abilities, with destruction being part of it, but not it being the part that is impossible to suppress?

along with the "literal levels" idea, where would the second coming and the dark lord come in the "hierarchy"? and with the idea that being "the chosen one" initially supposes destruction, did the dark lord, given their name, have any initial code of destruction prior until the go and kill chosen command? why instead of attacking noogai as well they stretched at first instead, until they got their command?

these thoughts bring me to the idea of how exactly adobeflash brings a stick to life, to have a code of their own that influences them and ill probably have to dig information on the program itself and its coding language to know more about its functions. if bringing a stick to life, giving them powers is a function of animated programs in the universe, what else can a program do with them? how does adobeflash makes its creations interact with other applications? how could a creator get rid of a sticks life except for the supposed "dont save the changes" button? man. the whole idea of ava having interactable, 3d and alive internet, animations and creations in general, the existence of outernet as a whole makes me really happy since i just adore internet and digital concepts. i love exploring ava rules !!!

now getting to the second coming. to begin with, how was the program aware of who they were a second coming of in the first place to give them powers? the question feels answearable, but at the same time, second wasnt aware of their powers up until literally the last episode of ava. theres a lot to be thought about their awakening too

if most applications, art and creations has their own consciousnesses [desktop applications, youtube, browser stuff and etc], then how did specifically the last frame of second's animation come to life? could any previous frames of that animation be alive as well? and if they could be, would second's "clones" have the same powers and the same name?

in general, sticks are perceived as a separate entity in ava, but i do wonder if that could be the case, based on the fact that victims clones were able to be created and used after lol. even with vics clones, even with the idea that they're temporary, do they share the same memories with victim? given that victims life was "unsaved" along with their clones, were they able to "uncopy" themselves, or did they continue to just exist? are the clones that agent deployed in the box the same clones or new ones, just made with the amount that what victim is personally used to/the amount of weapons that victim is used to? if they are the same ones and were somehow able to "get back" into victim, do they continue sharing the same memories with them?

talking about other sticks i also have questions about their code. color gang for example

so far we had only seen the creation of hollowhead sticks by noogai and we dont even know about how other types of sticks came to life, not even mentioning the process of it, their code and their possible "program of birth". we do know that other alive sticks, and other HOLLOWHEADS, created by users exist given the stick rights banner in ava 3, yet it is the only clue of stickmen like noogais hollowheads existing. and we know that nonhollowheads are considered "naturally created" sticks both in internet and outernet, and that they're naturally weaker than "artificial" hollowheads are and that, supposedly, they reproduce by themselves. but how did they come to exist in the first place? do the rules of the universe imply them just coming into life by themselves, with the outernets existence? we do know, again, that users, other computers and programs exist in the universe and that some sticks are created by other artists, but were any of non-hollowheads like the colorgang, mercs, king, purple, gold, navy&orchid, everyone in the cities we have seen created by someone else as well? and why noogais stickmen are more special than others? are there stickmen stronger than noogais hollowheads? ... how would you tell two solid-headed sticks apart if, say, some artist created a copy of a "naturally" made stick?

if non-hollowheads stickmen are created too, are they in touch with their creators? besides the enslavement fact-freedom guy stick banner, do creators tend to torture or befriend their sticks, creations in general? are there stereotypes about sticks and their creators? is it more or less acceptable in stick society to be in touch with your creator? are other creators, besides noogai, aware of the outernet?

... where would the creators of the color gang, mercs, king and purple & co be?

talking about the "natural" and the reproduction part, i do wonder, if, in case of non-hollowheads also being created by other people and animators, purple and gold came to life as a will of creators or as a will of the sticks themselves. we have only seen symbolic depiction of purple coming to life in their song, and i feel like it can be a depiction of a stickman drawn for two other stickmen (with the existing code of them being their child) or a proof of actual, natural reproduction. if child sticks were drawn for the parent sticks, were they drawn by their creator or by the parents themselves?

talking about creation again, i do wonder why king was called "king" in the minecraft code, given that he had a life prior to becoming one. was it a player name inside minecraft that he has given to himself, or a name that he had outside minecraft as well? if its the second, why was he called king before? did he do anything king role related prior minecraft? and if it is not his real name, what IS his real name? and did he end up changing it back?

in general, talking about my favourite alive internet concepts, how did outernet appear? did it come into existence along with the internet? is outernet an extension of internet, and does it serve as a sort of a "backstage" for what is happening in the internet sites?

in my personal interpretation, i feel like outernet IS and extension of internet, and it develops with it — that, if you needed to describe it, the internet is the flat front of a regular box, while the outernet is the 3d space inside the box.

A little something featuring Fuuta and Es after talking about their criminal lack of interaction in fanworks with @waivyjellyfish ! You had such awesome ideas (a few of which I'm still bouncing around in my head to post at some point,) but this one ended up taking over my brain -- I hope you enjoy 😅 Attempting to answer the widely-debated question:

“Oi, why didn’t you hit me?”

Es looked up from their paperwork.

“Prisoner number three. Most people are glad when they’re not struck.”

“Well, I’m not.” 

Es usually left the door open at this hour, in case anyone had any last-minute complaints before curfew. No one usually took them up on the offer. They figured that if there was any prisoner they could count on to complain, it would be Fuuta marching through their door.

“You hit all the other guys. You even hit some of the girls that were giving you trouble. So what? You think I’m too weak? You think I can’t take it?” Fuuta spread his arms. “I can, so show me what you’ve got!”

Es sighed. They put down their pen. They folded their gloved hands together, resting their chin on top. “Fuuta, I’m not going to hit you.”

“Why not?”

“As of right now, I have no reason to. If you’re referring to the interrogations…”

They reflected on the first one they'd shared with him. To be fair, the thought had crossed their mind. It would have been satisfying to give this rowdy prisoner a taste of his own medicine – striking him after such a dramatic charge at them. But Es was always good at reading people. It didn’t take them long to understand Fuuta was the type to lash out first and ask questions later. In fact, that was likely what had landed him in Milgram in the first place. 

Although Es knew they weren’t here to do any reformation, they wanted to try to show these prisoners where they’d gone wrong. So, they resolved to act as the bigger person. They’d prove that senseless violence was just that. By keeping their composure, they’d show Fuuta just how childish he was being. 

That wasn’t my only reason. I guess that's true, my actions weren’t all purely righteous. I still spent the entire time looking for ways to make him squirm… But it wasn’t all cruelty. I really did want to understand. I wanted to help. That counts for something, right?

Es never struck the prisoners out of anger, or as a petty show of power. It was a way to force the prisoner to mind their ego. When they’d gotten a bit too full of themselves, a bit too comfortable with the awful deed they’d committed, Es’ blow encouraged them to feel a bit more humility and guilt. 

By the time the second trial arrived, Fuuta oozed guilt. 

The moment Es entered the interrogation room, it was clear that he needed no lesson in humility. He hugged his arms to his chest. His remaining eye darted around the room in thinly-veiled hysteria. His voice trembled when he spoke. It didn’t require any people-reading skills to hear the remorse that underlaid all of his accusations and threats.

Hitting the others felt like giving a dog a tap on the nose after breaking a rule. Meanwhile, Fuuta snapped and snarled like a stray who’d been kicked time and time again.

Of course, he could never know any of this. Any way Es phrased it, Fuuta would misunderstand it as pity.

Well, wasn’t it? I thought he looked like a kicked puppy – that sounds a lot like pity. No, it was out of respect. Does that mean I didn’t respect the prisoners I did hit? No. I respected them too. Then, what’s the difference?

Fuuta was still staring at them, asking the very same question. What’s the difference?

“Each of Milgram’s prisoners is unique.” 

They were met with an unimpressed glare.

Es chose their words carefully. “Each one responds best to a variety of treatments. Some need attention to be comfortable, while others need time. Some need validation in order to confess. Others, a bit of debate does the trick. Some need a show of force. You –” remind me too much of myself  “��� require something else. I’ve learned to change my approach depending on the person I’m dealing with.”

Fuuta’s features flashed with confusion, then shame, then his usual mask of anger. “Tch. How pathetic.”

“Excuse me?”

“So you just change your personality when it’s convenient? You put up fake smiles and fake attitude? Have some balls and just be yourself.”

Es was caught by surprise. “... I am. Those are all pieces of myself. I choose to bring out different parts when it would be most helpful.” 

“Sounds manipulative as hell to me.” 

It makes sense he doesn’t understand. He’s a very clear-cut person, with every aspect of his personality lining up in a way that makes sense. I find that predictability fun. Or, is it something that I envy? Could it be both?

They had no time to dwell on it, as Fuuta was struck with an idea. “Though, if you can do it on command, why don’t you give me the ‘you’ that wants to hit someone?” 

He spread his arms once more, hands gesturing to his chest. Es pretended not to notice him wince. They remained in their seat. 

“What are you waiting for? Hit me!” 

“I will not.”

“You just said you can change your personality on a whim, so let’s see it!” 

“That is not what I said.”

His good eye began to look frenzied. He raised his voice. “You scared? The big bad warden of Milgram, nothing but a big coward!”

“Stop this. You’re acting childish.”

“No! You’re treating me childishly! Let me see the Es that kicked Shidou! The one that slapped Kazui! Treat me like you treated them!”

“I hit them because they said something stupid. They deserved it.”

“Are you fucking kidding? I deserve it too! I deserve it! Come on!”

At the last word, his voice broke. He stumbled to his knees. He let his head drop. He sucked in strained breath after strained breath. Shidou would surely give him a lecture about getting so worked up with his injuries. 

Es finally stood.

They made their way around the desk. They knelt on the floor in front of him. 

“Why?” he wheezed. “Tell me…”

“Fuuta.” 

Should I just go ahead and do it, just to make him happy? No, I want to talk it out. But what do even I say? I'll tell him that I care. I can’t. None of the prisoners understand that I care. Why? Why is it so hard for them to see? I’m trying my best, why can’t they see? 

Es extended their hand carefully. They didn’t know what they hoped to accomplish, but in that moment their thoughts were too loud and conflicting. They needed to do something.

Fuuta saw the gentle intention, and immediately raised his own hand to strike. It froze midair, though whether it was from Milgram’s restrictions or his own hesitation, Es would never know.

Neither of their gestures connected.

Footsteps. Then Yuno’s voice, hesitantly from the doorway. “We heard shouting, is everything alright in here?”

Es retracted their hand.  A beat. Fuuta dropped his, too. 

“Yuno. Yes, we’re fine. Fuuta was just heading to bed. I’m going to walk him to his cell.”

“I can handle myself.”

“I said, I’m going to walk him to his cell.” 

Es stood, nodding to Yuno. When she’d gone, they turned their attention back to the prisoner crumpled on the ground. They made an effort to quiet their ever-racing thoughts. 

“Listen. I know you can handle yourself. I’m not doing this because I think you’re weak. You’re strong. Don’t think for a moment that I don’t see that.”

They held out their arm to help him up. He didn’t move.

“Sometimes you are a bit too strong, if you ask me. I mean, picking fights with your prison warden, really?” They clicked their tongue. “You should be grateful for a superior that gives you second chances.”

At last, Fuuta  took their hand. He avoided meeting their eyes, but his voice had softened considerably from his rant. “The only thing you give me is a headache.”

Es offered a dry smile as they pulled him to his feet. “The feeling is mutual.”

But :x AU where the Watchers steal Grian's voice (dunno why, haven't gotten that far), no talking no laughter no sound at all, and Grian acts like it's fine. It is! They have communicators! He can still talk to the hermits while X and Doc try and figure it out! Honestly he's close enough with some that facial expressions and gestures are enough to have a whole conversation sometimes. And bonus, he doesn't have to hold back his giggles when setting up a prank, Scar literally can't hear him laughing as he's tunneling under the base. .... but being in big groups is hard, he can't quip like he used to, by the time he's got a line halfway typed out the conversation moved on and the joke dies on his keyboard. (No hermit is excluding him on purpose!! Just, that's how talking flows and typing can't always keep up!) Can't hear him laugh but... can't hear him cry either.

I have nothing written, I haven't written in a loooong time, this just lives in my head. :x

OHHH mute grian! it's interesting that it also translates to any other noises. he can't cry! he can't laugh! (gathering this angst lovingly in my arms)

he can sob and nobody will hear it. he can hide and nobody will be any wiser. he— you know, he can't call for help, or call attention to himself, or even greet his friends. he can't call out scar's name, he can't say hi or bye to anyone. he needs eyes on him, or time to type and people's attention on the chat, and he doesn't always get those things.

(scar in particular forgets to check the chat, even when he's with grian. he sees him type, he just. he's a bit silly.) (grian has to make signs and meticulously place them and type on them to get scar to see any of his words, and even that has only like 50% chance of success.)

imagine cub gives him a bunch of custom horns. he means well. he tried to make some useful ones. but none of them feel like grian, or match quite what he wants to say.

his steps are still audible, but if he can't say a person's name or a greeting, he keeps accidentally sneaking up on people. he doesn't know how to alert them without it being absolutely ridiculous. they startle. mumbo especially lets out a loose comment directly after a scare, about how grian can't do that.

he doesn't mean it like that.

but maybe grian starts approaching hermits less.

I'm starting Mission to Zyxx Season 5 now, and I have feelings about that.

First, it generally scares me when people hype anything up at all because there is no guarantee that anyone values the exact same thing I do to the same degree. Even if I trust the creators of a thing to value something and try to do right by it, that doesn't always necessarily mean it will be successful, especially if that involves doing something wildly different than what made it good in the first place (I have been burned this way before). I guess I'm just hoping they continue the format of goofy improv shenanigans for the majority of it with something more planned and emotional in the finale if they want, like they've been doing all along. I'd think they would, and I've heard nothing bad about the ending, but I guess it still makes me nervous because I'm so close to the end and I want it so badly to stick the landing. I'm setting my expectations on the floor so I can be surprised instead of disappointed, but honestly, I don't need it to be better, I just need it to be on par with the rest.

Second, and more briefly, I'm happy it's (hopefully) ending before it has a chance to decline. I am so on board with that philosophy. But on the other hand, finishing a thing that I really, really like and knowing there's not another one out there gives me a special kind of heartache. Like, I know there will be other good media, and stuff that's good and unique in other ways, but I know for a fact that there are no other podcasts out there that have the same mix of a balance of off-the-wall improv and structured narrative, quality comedy, fantastical sci-fi setting and loveable characters, and high quality production. There are other things out there with many of those qualities, but nothing that checks every one of those boxes. It's a lightning-in-a-bottle thing that very much feels like the right people had to be in the right place at the right time to do it. Attempts to do it again would feel hollow because it had to be born out of necessity and passion and the talents of the people involved, so if you switch out the people it loses the reasons it's great, and if the same people tried to do it again it'd feel tired. That makes me so, so grateful it exists, but also so, so sad that it doesn't, and I'm 80% of the way done. When it's over, it's over.

Anyway. Now that that's all out there, I'm just gonna finish listening and have fun. Wish me luck.
