On one hand, there are a lot of things in Titans (1999) that are not that great but, on the other, I do think this comic is one of my favorites when it comes to the dynamic of the fab five and their relationship with each other (the moment when all of them are dreaming and stuck is theirs younger self for example).

Also this comic is the one who made me want to read more of Roy. He is genuinely great in it. So I think that's a plus.

I know most garth fans do not like garth's character currently but reading titans (2023) #4 with no context and learning garth's in a cult and cult leader is weird about him + titans acting like friends when ur bestie has a toxic bf is so so funny

Like you know how there’s that whole scene of Winston thinking money is brown and stuff and Schmidt being like ‘if that’s brown what color do you think you are’? it’s so impressive that in a team with Dick Grayson, Donna Troy, Wally West, Roy Harper and Lilith Clay, Garth of all people had managed to be the hottest person in the room. Props to him for getting the glow up he deserves
