Might I add: smell is one of the most important memory recollection stations, so there's a lot of potential. A familiar and comforting scent, even through the haze of pain; the smell of something sinister, even in a safe environment. Smell tends to cut through any rational thought. That smell automatically means this (like how gingerbread means Christmas, but imagine Christmas is Pain). Literally, look it up! Smell is even sometimes used post-epileptic fits, to ground someone before they have conscious thought (I'd know). You can remember a feeling with a scent before you even know what you're doing,

8. In fuchsia. Nandor lurches back in surprise at something offscreen, one hand raised in a fist in front of his face and the other sweeping backward protectively. Guillermo is behind him, looking up at him in shock, hand gently hovering over the arm in front of him.

- the first crush i can remember was when i was in 5th grade, recently moved so was doing my last year of elementary school at a Brand New Place with none of my old friends. being a very shy, nerdy kid, i’d just go hide in the jungle gym during recess time and read a book (the hiding in the jungle gym was necessary so the teachers would think i was socializing and not force me to talk to people)

- anyways there was another kid who did the same thing, not bc he was shy and had no friends, but because he preferred to use recess time to study and hung out with his friends at other times (his class nickname was the Calculator). anyways what is a young nerd to do but to have a puppy crush on the only other person reading in the jungle gym??
