I want an episode of Game Changer with Emily Axford, Brennan Lee Mulligan and Lou Wilson where they are given props of weapons and armor (made out of foam and paper mache) along with random character sheets and moved to a larger space so they have to roleplay. They are given points based off their acting skills and other members of D20 are the villains they have to fight.

The fun Izzy Roland would have when Brennan sees her, cackling as she carries a foam mace to deck him with while Aabria Iyengar throws shredded confetti paper as spells. It needs to be as perfectly "teenage LARPing" as possible for the vibes.

Dimension 20 is legit the only that keeps my attention and makes me happy right now, so I will probably be investing in Dropout very soon. What other shows on Dropout do y’all recommend? I also really enjoyed the free episodes of Game Changer on YouTube

Queer reads: Rachel Reid

Continuing with my sport romance recommendations, we leave baseball and go to hockey. Day 29: Rachel Reid. 

First of all, please appreciate the abs on these covers. So many abs. So many pecs. There’s just something you have to love about romance covers. 

Okay, so in addition to angst and drama, one thing I love is a shared universe. I don’t know what it is about cameo appearances from characters we’ve seen before, but I love it. So, these go in order left to right. I enjoyed 2, 5, & 6, the most, but they’re all good books. Books 2 & 6 (Heated Rivalry and The Long Game) are the same couple and the only couple in the series where both people play hockey.  The other four couples feature one hockey player and one someone else (in order: a guy who works at the smoothie shop, a flamboyantly gay musician, a bar tender, and a social media guy.) 

I read these all in like 5 days, and then fell down a rabbit hole of other hockey romances, but these are some of the best. Good character, good tension, good sex scenes, good writing, fantastic covers. 

Rachel Reid has a new book coming out in September (also a hockey romance, but not, I think, in this shared universe.) I hope she writes lots and lots more.

I love hockey pranks and I have been thinking about more Game Changers nonsense.

Ilya's on the cover of like, GQ or something. Looking very sexy and fashionable, of course.

Wyatt and Bood and Troy all pitch in and buy like, a box of the magazine. They rip off the front covers and tape the covers all over Shane's stall and gear in the dressing room.

And of course Ilya has to get chirped about being on the cover of GQ.

OK, was anyone going to tell me the Shakespeare episode of Game Changer dropped, or was I just going to have to find out myself?!

I somewhat recently got the drop out subscription. I do not regret it at all. The first thing I did was binge watch A court of Fay and flowers. I loved it, it will forever be in my heart. I also wanted to consume some of the other stuff. They have a lot of good stuff on there. Obviously there's all the dimension 20 series. But, they also have some cool comedy stuff. Ally has a podcast on there called Tales from the closet which as a gay person I love. Some of the other comedy shows I loved were dirty laundry, Make some noise, Um actually, and game changer to name a few.

After the Centaurs beat the Voyageurs in the playoffs, Shane is condemned to sit at home and watch Ilya compete for the Stanley Cup. He’s proud of Ilya, but he also still feels bitter about the loss.
