Free Grace Salvation
Free grace salvation means we are forgiven, justified, and saved solely by God’s grace, and not by any human effort or merit. All humanity is inherently sinful and unable to earn entrance into heaven. Our good works do not save. They never have and never will. Salvation is entirely a work of God. He offers it to sinful humanity as a gift, given freely and unconditionally to all who believe in…

Hebrews 1:1-2 (NLT). “Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets. And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe.”
2 Peter 1:21 (GW). “No prophecy ever originated from humans. Instead, it was given by the Holy Spirit as humans spoke under God’s direction.”
Galatians 4:4-5 (GNT). “But when the right time finally came, God sent his own Son. He came as the son of a human mother and lived under the Jewish Law, to redeem those who were under the Law, so that we might become God's children.”
“The God Who Speaks” By In Touch Ministries:
“God offers us the invaluable privilege of personal communication with Him.”
“Throughout human history, God has spoken to mankind in various ways. His prophets and apostles were moved by the Holy Spirit to proclaim and write His words (2 Peter 1:21), but His ultimate expression came through the birth of His Son Jesus (Galatians 4:3-5). Through the Holy Spirit, the Lord still communicates to every Christian who listens with an open and receptive heart.
Think about the wonder of having a God who speaks—not a distant deity who gives orders from heaven, but one who actually wants to converse with you! Why would the Lord of all creation choose to come to earth, die on a cross, and provide the Holy Spirit in order to communicate with each of us? Consider that God...
Loves you.
Desires an intimate relationship with you.
Longs for you to trust Him and for your faith to grow strong as you see the fulfillment of His words.
Wants you to experience all He’s planned for your life—and will guide you to fulfill His purposes.
In the busyness of the Christmas season, it’s easy to take for granted this invaluable privilege of communication with the Lord. Take time this week away from distractions so you can listen to the God who wants to talk with you.”

"PRACTICE SPIRITUAL WARFARE FOR YOUR MARRIAGE"
If I were to choose the most important thing as the key that has kept my marriage united and healthy, I would have to say it is loving my husband and family more than myself and practicing spiritual warfare EVERY DAY! Since we are spiritual beings, we cannot direct our combat against a human person. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, “For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and…

Heaven Actually IS a "Life or Death" Situation
Where do you go for answers on important issues? Google? Chat GPT? Your mom? Do you research exhaustively (also known today as “watch YouTube”, lol)? Or do you just throw up your hands and say, “Heaven help us!”? Bookstores have a self-help section, but there are some things you just can’t find on Google or in a self-help book… There are times in life when we encounter “a life or death…

Intersection of ‘being’ and ‘doing’
“Grace shows up in all of us asking the hard questions to break new ground. Grace is generous and, when we lean into it, we can’t help but extend it to others.”[1] Benbow goes on to explore what it looks like to see through the lens of grace to recognise the brokenness of others and self. Session, quoting Stacy, a stripper, “This is the first time I’ve ever felt seen.”[2] in a sermon from 2020…

Are You a Slave to the Law?
By Adrian Rogers “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.” Galatians 2:20-21 Under legalism, you’re a slave to yourself. Under…

blogs that support sexism, DNI. female inferiority is not supported by the Bible. female submission to the Lord and to her husband is biblically supported, but so is mutual submission within marriage. love is not about superiority, inferiority, or domination. love is about giving yourselves to each other.
i believe men and women are like apples and oranges. we are equal in value, worth, and humanity, but different. this does not mean that one is better or less than the other. both were created in the image of God. both are equally needed in society. please never imply that my account insinuates women are less than men. i believe in traditional love that appreciates our differences. ♡
on men and women:
Genesis 1:27: "So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them."
Galatians 3:28: "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."
on love & marriage:
1 Peter 3:7 "In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God’s gift of new life. Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered."
Genesis 2:24: "That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh."
Ephesians 5:21: "Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ."
1 Corinthians 7:3-4: “…The wife does not have authority over her own body, but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body, but yields it to his wife."
1 Peter 3:7: "Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers."

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor’ and ‘hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be like your Father in heaven, since he causes the sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Even the tax collectors do the same, don’t they? And if you only greet your brothers, what more do you do? Even the Gentiles do the same, don’t they? So then, be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect." Da Big JC
More below the cut.
From Rebecca Solnit:
Yeah, we've reached the state where Christian nationalists hate Jesus and anyone like him. "Sin of empathy." [Last] screenshot is Speaker Johnson having a hissy fit about that Episcopalian's sermon.
Some Bible passages on love and kindness, for the record:
John: 13:34
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
Matthew:
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Zachariah, Old Testament
8Then the word of the Lord came to Zechariah, saying,
9“Thus says the Lord of hosts:
‘Execute true justice,
Show [g]mercy and compassion
Everyone to his brother.
10Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless,
The alien or the poor.
Let none of you plan evil in his heart
Against his brother.’
Galatians 5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Psalm 31:21
Blessed be the Lord: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.
Colossians 3:11-13
11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
2 Peter 1
5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

“But suppose we seek to be made right with God through faith in Christ and then we are found guilty because we have abandoned the law. Would that mean Christ has led us into sin? Absolutely not! Rather, I am a sinner if I rebuild the old system of law I already tore down. For when I tried to keep the law, it condemned me. So I died to the law—I stopped trying to meet all its requirements—so that I might live for God. My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die.” —Galatians 2:17-21 (NLT)
“People who are crucified with Christ have three distinct marks:
They are facing only one direction,
They can never turn back, and
They no longer have plans of their own.”

Nothing can Separate us from Jesus
Romans 8:35-39
Romans 8:35- Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulations or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or sanger or sword?
1st Corinthians 4:11- To the present hour we hunger and thirst, we are poorly dressed and buffeted and homeless.
2nd Corinthians 11:6-7: Even if I am unskilled in speaking, I am not so in knowledge; indeed, in every way we have made thus plain to you in all things or did I commit a sin in humbling myself so that you might be exalted, because I preached God's gospel to you free of charge.
Romans 8:36- As it is written "For your sake we face death all day long we are considered as sheep to be slaughter."
Psalms 44:22- Yet for your sake we are killed all day; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.
In reference to Psalms 44:22:
Jeremiah 11:19- I have been like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter, I did not realize that they plotted against me saying let us destroy the tree and its fruit; let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name be remembered no more.
1st Corinthians 4:9- But sometimes I think God has put his apostles display like prisoners of way at the end of a victor's parade condemned to die we have become a spectacle to the entire world to people and angels alike
2nd Corinthians 4:11- For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.
Romans 8:37- No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him, who loved us.
1st Corinthians 15:57- But thanks be to God who gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 5:8- But God showed us his love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us. (THANK YOU JESUS)
Galatians 2:20- I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loves me and gave himself for me.
Ephesians 1:21- Far above all rule and authority, and power and dominion and above every name that is named not only in this age but also in the ones to come.
Revelation 1:5- And from Jesus Christ the faithful witness the first born of the dead and the rulers of Kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood.
In reference to Revelation 1:5:
Isaiah 55:4- Behold I have made him a witness to the people a leader and commander for the peoples.
Romans 8:38- For I am convinced that neither death nor life neither angels nor demons neither the present not the future nor any powers.
1st Corinthians 3:22- Whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future all are yours.
Colossians 1:16- For by him all things were created in heaven and on earth visible and invisible whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authority all things were created through him and for him.
1st Peter 3:22- Who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angel, authorities and powers having been subjected to him
Romans 8:39- Neither height nor depth nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the Love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 5:8- But God showed us his love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us. (THANK YOU JESUS)
Romans 16:3- Great Prisca and Aquila my fellow workers in Christ Jesus.
