I'm actually appalled at how much naruto shippuden filler I've skipped before. Like the prior two arcs were whatever. Kind of interesting, gave some extra perspectives on a few characters, but Eh

This third one, though. It's really going into Utakata to the point where I'm like. I can't believe I've always skipped this??? It's so interesting!!!! I really do hope that Naruto gets to learn he's a jinchuuriki too, bc even tho he's gonna get slurped up by that statue too, for Right Now at least, there's another jinchuuriki here. And Naruto has only met one before now (since he hasn't met Killer Bee yet). I think he deserves to get to know his fellow jinchuuriki.

I hate myself. I have like 2 WIPs in Harry Potter and an original story to update. But why am I rewriting this? Ugh. But here goes.

Hey Ray! Hope you're doing well. Was going through the Uchiha Nip AU again and I gotta say I love those asks with the other jinchuuriki! Like they're pulling off those found family vibes. Also considering they're all famous I know Uchiha Nip AU social media is going wild that these celebrities all know each other.

My two cents is that some of them did know each other before they all came together as a group but not in the way anyone imagined.

Naruto would cheerfully clarify that no Gaara is not an Uzumaki and yes Gaara did try to kill him once. No-one can tell if he'd joking or not.

Utakata and Yagura are low-key relatives but they met each other while being kidnapped by the same group.

Yugito and Fuu met while they were being questioned by the police for two separate cases of arson.

Roushi and Han know each other not because they're from the same hometown but while standing in line for their favourite author's book.

And so on.

Then they met as a group... And Japan was doomed really

You're picking up on the exact kind of chaotic vibes I want them to have in this AU so fuck yes.

Social media absolutely goes insane over this unexpectedly large group of very random celebrities knowing each other but through chance or sly design, Naruto is normally the one taking all of the pictures of their private gatherings.

Also, Naruto is absolutely not joking, Gaara really did try to kill him in a situation that involved a back alley dumpster and a raccoon. In the end they were both bleeding and it cemented their decision to be friends for life.

Yugito and Fuu both got questioned about arson and they're both guilty but, luckily enough for them, they're each guilty of the arson the other one was actually being questioned about so they both ended up getting away with it.

With making Ino be the betrayer of the leaf, it actually would be super easy to just Uchiha-ify the Yamanaka clan, due to the Yamanakas hiden technique being literal mind control and destruction. Change that to being a kekkei genkai (so no one outside the clan ever has the chance to learn it) and you have the perfect scapegoat.

"The Yamanaka Clan cannot be trusted because of their positions of power. We must do something about them." - Danzo, probably.

Shikamaru and Chouji, as well as both of their clans, are completely blind-sided by Fuu's betrayal, but his power piques Orochimaru's interest and he finds Ino during the chunin exams and the rest plays out relatively similarly as Naruto except Sakura is the one to chase after Ino with Shikamaru and Chouji's help, Naruto and Sasuke backing her up unconditionally, and Sai joining and hearing about childhood stories from Shikamaru and Chouji during missions.

We can ignore the jinchuuriki plotline it's messy and power-creep heavy as it is.
