So this happened after the Heritage Foundation leak. It made me chuckle.
SiegedSec has also claimed that it has disbanded.
Tumblr media
The Furries have been in the trenches against Fascism for a long time, because it turned out there were some Fascist Furries infiltrating conventions and...Furry cons briefly became a reenactment of the Spanish Civil War except the good guys won this time.
Here's a good podcast on the fight against the Furred Reich.

It appears to me that you haven't yet visited Chief Bogo from Zootopia. If you do, it would be useful to keep in mind that brief moment in Zootopia+, where we see his abs pop out.
Tumblr media
I knew a guy who had the biggest crush on this guy back when I was first exploring what it meant for myself to be a furry. Wonder where that guy is. I knew his full name at the time, too, which was wild, considering the internet practices at the time.
Anyway I feel like ideologically he stands against much of what many members of the furry fandom stand for. Overall, ideologically if I have to deny Scar for his fascism, I feel like I should remain consistent with that at the very least regarding Bogo. Attractive or not, he is repelling for what he stands for -- the institutions at large that enforce the law corruptly -- and I cannot grant him status as a furrybait character.

Why did socialism have to start in france / People make such as fuss about the differences between socialism and communism when karl marx was a socialist and also created the communist manifesto / Quite possibly the worst effect of american politics on the american mind has been the gross oversimplification of communism/socialism into the idea of either a socially progressive representative democracy with semiregulated liberal markets and social programs and soviet-style authoritarian government-ownership and economic redistribution / 1984 is antifascist and antistalinist, not anti-socialist/anti-capitalist / Ingsoc is literally stated to be against true communism and fascism / It additionally critcizes the idea of total war as a device for social control and a government that seeks to create an entire societal atmosphere of paranoia and fear amongst the populus, via the normalization of informing the government of social wrongdoing and also trust in the military, police, and intelligence agencies / 1984 is about the collapse of the world into authoritarian rule and jingoistic imperialist empires; the government's final triumph over the people following the end of the cold war. George Orwell didn't predict the future, he envisaged a world that he never wanted to come true. If our present is like 1984, then it's because our world simply hasn't evolved past the geopolitics and ideologies of the 1940s, not because Orwell was a prophet of cancel culture or woke culture. / Did the Simpsons predict the future? Did Nostradamus predict WW2? Was HG Wells an agent of the Illuminati UN One World Government trying to warn us of it? No. / A One-World Illuminati Lizard-People Government will never happen if the specters of the Cold War still haunt us, which they still do. Republicans gather in Bohemian Grove because they're rich scumbags who hate poor people and are too cowardly to be furries worshiping owl statues while naked in public. Disney includes lgbtqia+ representation and rhetoric in their media because they can make money off of it, and it's more lucrative than losing a couple of traditionalist reactoids who want their 2 kids in the suburbs to grow up on family guy reruns and george bush speeches. / Nazis exist in the furry fandom because they're too stupid to realize Hitler would've ended his life in 1939 if he'd saw a fursuit with a swastika on it at one of his speeches and Robert E. Lee would've summoned Satan to kill of the entire United States.

Never thought Furries would be a faction out here fighting against fascism. The chief exec told one of the hackers that he was going to expose closet furries and send him to be raped in federal prison too.

We should all salute these furry hackers for their great work in fighting this bullshit. o7

so the season finale of superhero satire show The Boys released, and apparently holds some similarities to the recent trump assassination attempt. i dont know what that entails, i havent seen the episode yet. the thing im here to talk about is this disclaimer they put in:
Tumblr media
this has bothered several people, as the boys is a series up to its eyeballs in violence, gore, and distaste for both the political right and the wanton harm inflicted by american empire. this disclaimer has struck them as evidence that the show has nothing to say; that however much it calls out the growing fascism in our world and shows the protagonists beating the personifications of said fascism to death, it is ultimately just a product of a corporate ecosystem that wishes for a perpetual status quo.
now, i dont want to say this is an argument completely coming from nowhere. its entirely reasonable to be extra critical of a show produced by a company like amazon. but its deeply silly to look at this disclaimer and read that as the mask slipping.
like, here, ill show an example. heres a disclaimer for a garrys mod "anti furry" weapon sticker pack.
Tumblr media
this is pretty clearly a disingenuous attempt to cover ones ass. the description also includes a line telling furries that "bestiality is wrong" and calling people fags. hes an angry guy and he wants to be able to upload his black sun sticker without getting flagged for hate speech.
so the question im left asking is why are people unable to look at the disclaimer in the boys the same way? since when has the heart of a piece of art ever been in the disclaimer?
ill be real, i dont like that such a disclaimer is there in the first place. its a reminder that even if the boys is able to get away with a lot, it still exists in a context where what it does is described as something gotten away with. does that make the show less genuine, less authentic? maybe. the relationship between art and capital is long and tense. praise be to the cynics with more restraint than i when it comes to engaging in corporate art. i just caution against being so dogmatic about your cynicism that a disingenuous effort to cover ones ass overwrites what a work is actually saying.

I swear young people (especially teenagers) are the most judgmental to pro-shipping and dark content and it's just so weird to me since they are the ones that consider themselves the most open minded and are supportive of things such as furries but draw the line if someone supports romantic pairings that are deemed problematic.
For example, one time, a girl (American nonetheless)no older than 17 wished me to get r@ped just because I told them that I liked non-con stories😐.
There's definitely a trend and it's not just on tumblr. Book banning, anti-LGBTQA+ laws, violence against the queer community, increased public and private surveillance, and Christian-fascism on the rise are all factors that we see reflected in online communities.
I'm sorry that happened to you. Just know that you still have a strong community who is there for you, and you'll find most of them in literature- and queer-friendly spaces.

I might get canceled for saying this, so I apologize in advance. But I am no longer answering asks about Gaza and Palestine. Especially when there’s active genocide in the US as we speak.
There was recently a shooting in Georgia. My first college PE class was a self defense class where I learned how to disarm guns. I truly believe we are one election away from a dystopian nightmare where we pay with the blood of our children.
They get rid of phones in schools so that we can’t call our loved ones to tell them our goodbyes. My art class teacher immediately pointed out where to hide from a school shooter. And my class is at 6-9 at night in Southern California.
Meanwhile, states are trying to take away any rights that don’t belong to cis hetero white men. They’re trying to make being queer a sex crime and punishing those sex crimes with death. Conservative white men want to create a fascist nation, and once they get into power they will be unstoppable. Sure things might be bad in Gaza and Palestine, but they’ll get a lot worse if Trump gets elected.
Go ahead and cancel me for saying this, but when we’re one election away from being in a state of total fascism and genocide against queer people, we can’t really focus on issues abroad like Palestine.
I don’t want to have to fear going to school and create a playlist I have to listen to in my final moments due to being shot for being queer. I don’t want to have to sleep with one eye open.
The right just wants more workers to oppress. They want to keep money in the greedy talons of the dragons that they feel should control society. They lie through their teeth and spread hate, misinformation, and hoaxes with the STD’s they give to the women they screw over. They scapegoat whoever they can to draw attention to so that they can keep the heat off themselves. If Trump gets elected, nowhere is safe. You may think that you can simply move out of the country, when there’s bigots everywhere that can rise to power now that they’re emboldened by Trump. Alberta Canada is already trying to pass anti-lgbt bills.
We are witnessing the active attempt to eradicate morals from society in the name of a false god. Actually decent healthcare, shelter, food, water, and safety is actively being taken away from people in our own country. Many of them are disabled. Many of them are queer. Many of them are women.
Another thing, you know how teachers are complaining on how far behind Gen Alpha is? And how bottom of the barrel content farms that show violent and pornographic content gets targeted to kids? Also notice how overstimulating some of these videos are (I’m looking at you, Cocomelon.) Meanwhile, KOSA is just trying to ban queer spaces and trying to keep people in abusive relationships. It’s late stage capitalism at its finest. So many people are suffering.
We can’t just focus on what’s happening in Gaza when our own kids can’t seem to get off their screens and read. I’d be damned if it’s found out that those shitty content farms that leech off of indie projects are in line with rich white conservatives that want to eradicate literacy to breed the ultimate worker for their own twisted purposes.
I know that last paragraph was controversial for me to say as an aspiring content creator, but I truly believe that there can be a way for content creators to exist in this world without making illiterate kids. There should be regulations in place that keeps young children off of highly addictive platforms such as TikTok and YouTube shorts. There should be better systems in place for content creators that emphasizes quality over quantity. Bring dislikes back. There is room for genuinely creative content creators to grow and share their platform, whilst keeping the scum away from vulnerable kids. There’s a place for porn on the internet, and it should be kept away from kids.
In synopsis, how can we focus on Gaza when there is active genocide in our own country and active attempts to create denial. Hey furry hackers, maybe target those content farm channels next! I betcha my soul you’ll find that the algorithm that YouTube and TikTok praises so much thrives off of feeding kids stupidity as some grand master plan by the possibly conservative white male CEO’s that want to keep kids stupid and poor just to keep brainwashing propaganda onto them. Where is critical thinking skills and basic reading comprehension?
Wow. This turned from a rant on school shootings to my unbridled hatred towards content farms and how fucked up Gen Alpha is. I’ve definitely been chronically online for too long. But yeah, the YouTube algorithm supports shitty content and hates genuinely good content. Sponsorships are only helping genuine creators so much, as well as genuinely good merch. And AI will only make things so so much worse.
I have a project for the furry hackers. Attack generative Open AI. (Yeah, I’m prolly gonna quit Figgs AI because I’m feeling hardcore AI addiction again. It’s hurting my ability to create content. The site’s dying anyways.) And attack content farms too. Maybe it’s time for me to get into IT. Gonna look at computer classes. It can’t be too hard, right?
I may be either spewing a shit load of nonsense with the content farm shit, or I’m hitting the nail on the head. But there goes my ADHD. But yeah. I can’t answer asks on Gaza anymore. I am so sorry if I let people down because of this.

So I’ve been seeing a lot of alt accounts here on Tumblr express their views, so as a moderate leftist, I have decided to respectfully share some of mine:
Left-Wing beliefs I have:
I support/am an advocate of a mixed economy
I am against racism, sexism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, queerphobia, classism, antisemitism, and ableism
I am an ally to all marginalized groups (except Christian Puritans, they can go fuck themselves)
I am against police brutality
I am a registered democrat
I am pro-gun control
I believe that hate speech should not be considered freedom of speech and should be banned
I believe renting housing/homes should be banned
I believe people should be held accountable for their actions
I believe there should be restrictions on what the rich can do with their money
I believe abortion is a human right and that Roe v Wade should be reinstated
I am a feminist
I am sex positive
I am against a one-state solution under Israel
I think Trump, Chaya Raichik, Ron DeSantis, and Elon Musk should be sent to prison for hate crimes and child abuse
I am pro banning of fossil fuels
I am an ally to the furry community
I think Netanyahu should be removed and Likud abolished
I believe in open borders
I support Me Too
I believe that health care is a human right
I think Christianity and Islam both do a bit more harm than good
Right-Wing believes that I have:
I am against police abolition and ACAB
I am pro banning of the sale of recreational cannabis in stores that allow children to come in (such as supermarkets and convenience stores)
I believe that anarchy is just as bad as fascism, totalitarianism, and authoritarianism
I am against a one-state solution under Palestine
I believe that the Palestinian government is just as corrupt, if not WORSE than the Israeli government
I believe Hamas should be abolished
You can support both BLM and be against police abolition
I am a golfer and I am against the banning of golf (though I do agree that the should be restrictions on where they should be built and how much water and pesticides they can use)
I support Hawaiian and Alaskan statehood (but I do agree that the citizens of both states should be given more rights)
I am against the abolition of Thanksgiving
I am against the abolition of the British monarchy
I believe that the 4th of July doesn’t celebrate imperialism
I believe that drinking alcohol, consuming tobacco products, consuming nicotine products, and consuming cannabis products is immoral (unless it’s for religious or health purposes)
Of course, this is all just my opinion, so feel free to politely disagree with me if you like.

Gotta love how most news sites are refusing to talk about this.
Even funnier, it's because they're a hacktivist group that's trying to target and expose all of the shit that the US Government gets up to, both at home and abroad. And they are honestly effective, and are actually NOT the only furry hacktivist group out there, even.
One of our greatest weapons against fascism in the US might just be chaotic hackers in fursuits.
And I think there's something beautiful about that.

I find youtuber Flashgitz an unethical 1st world english person since he parody or not is essentially romanticizing genocide in his videos like The Furry Disease, Furry: First Contact, Sonic gets cucked. Fuck the authority people in the United Kingdom allowing shit like this to happen. The Furry people, Flashgitz is referring to is a real life fandom which also have children in it. He is giving the British a bad reputation. I have friends there who are against fascism and hate videos like this.
I really can't tolerate those fascist fuckers thinking it's ok to joke like that towards innocent people. I am so tired. And why youtube allows content that is basically bullying

An Open Letter to the Person who Blocked Me for Being Mormon
For context:
Tumblr media
If you’re reading this, I hope it finds you well.
This letter is mostly for me, so I can get my feelings out. I’ve already talked about this with a few of my friends, and I’m feeling better than I was than when you blocked me. I’m still upset. Mostly because of general trends I see on tumblr of hatred for Mormons. A lot of it comes from ignorance and misunderstanding. Some of it comes from a place of genuine hurt that can’t go unaddressed. I don’t want to be dismissive of those who have faced trauma at the hands of my church. I am one of those people, and I know how deeply pain associated with my church can be. After our interaction, I felt that talking about it would help me process this.
Before I go on, I must be clear that this is not an attempt to get you to unblock me. As nice as it would be to be able to see your blog again – you’re very witty, and I enjoy your content! – I can live without it. This is more a response to the trend on tumblr specifically of hatred against Mormons, and assuming that they’re all bad people who are complicit in every single bad thing that the church does. You just happened to force me to be a little introspective about my church and my relation to it. Thank you for that.
First, however, I would like to clear up some misconceptions:
Your initial joke that prompted me to tell you I was a Mormon was a joke about Mormons and polygamy. The largest two organizations that can be classified as “Mormon,” The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the Community of Christ (which incidentally allows for gay marriage and has female clergy, though I am of the LDS sect), both disavow polygamy. There are other, smaller offshoot Mormon groups who do still practice this, which is where horror stories of polygamists marrying teenagers arise. These people are also Mormons, though I wish they weren’t, in the same way that problematic Christian groups are Christian, though many Christians wish they weren’t.
I do recognize that mainstream Mormonism has been labeled as a cult by many people, though the reasons people provide generally don’t hold up. Often the proof that people provide of my church’s cult-like nature is to take note of corruption that can be found in almost every church. These issues – such as racism, homophobia, and misogyny, to name a few – while real and important to address do not a cult make. Sometimes the proof is to point towards practices that are demonized in my church, but are practiced in other religions with no comment, or even celebration. Other times people will point to their own experiences with toxic church congregations, and while those issues are very real, they are by no means universal. My experience growing up Mormon was a lucky one in many ways. I personally don’t think that most people who study my church from an academic vantage point would call it a cult. I would consult them on this matter. After all, someone in a cult is rather hard-pressed to be able to tell whether they are in one or not.
Another point often levied against Mormonism is how it leaves its queer members with religious trauma due to its homophobic teachings. I understand this well. I have experienced deep religious trauma associated with my political stances in favor of LGBTQ+ rights (though that wasn’t the whole story). I won’t go into detail about this right now, but suffice it to say, I had a very traumatic time on my mission that led me to a very dark place, and ended with me contemplating choices I would never be able to take back. I’m fine now of course, but I carry those memories with me.
So why would I stay despite all this? Is it because I’m brainwashed? You would have to ask a psychologist about that, but I would say probably not. I knew, and know now, that the ways I was being treated were unfair and wrong. I don’t have time to go point by point to address every grievance I or anyone else has with my church and explain my position on it, as much as I would like to clear the air once and for all on this topic so there is no misunderstanding. Here’s the reasoning that has kept me here so far:
I think that every person of faith must, at some point, deal with the problematic aspects of their church’s history and doctrine. This comes with the territory. Whether it be disturbing stories in scripture, imperialist tendencies, doctrines that chafe against us, or problematic leaders, no person of faith is exempt from wrestling with the history that accompanies their faith. I have studied my church’s history in depth. Many of the horror stories I heard were provably false. Many were true. Where does that leave me?
I believe that God is bigger and better than us. We make terrible, awful mistakes all the time. But I don’t think that makes God less willing to work with us. If anything, I think it means he wants to help us more. He wants to help us move past our histories and become better. My church has a long way to go in this regard. For too long we have been silent when it mattered, and people have been wounded by our silence. Or even the words we have said out loud! If you look at my Mormonism tag on my blog, you will see some examples of what I am talking about. I have been wounded by the things my church has said and not said. It hurts awfully, and I ache for those who have been wounded more deeply than I.
But at the same time, I cannot deny the healing my faith has brought me. Whatever problems my church has – and it has many, deep and pressing issues – it is because of my faith that I am the person I am today. I can draw a straight line from my religion to the positions I hold today. Because I am a Mormon, I became a Marxist. Because I am a Mormon, I became nonbinary. Because I am a Mormon, I became a leftist. I cannot ignore that my religion, flawed as it may be, has led me to where I stand now. I am at the intersection of the hurt and healing the church offers. It is a difficult line to walk. But I hope that in walking it, I can bring healing and love to those who hurt in the ways I do. To let them know that they are not alone, and that they have a friend who can help them wherever they choose to go.
Yes I am queer. Yes I am a Mormon. I am here because I am trying to fix things. If at some point in the future I realize that I cannot change things, perhaps I will leave. I hope it does not come to that. And things are changing. They have changed before, and they can change now. I am confident that my God is willing to lead my church where it needs to go. I hope I can help speed things along. We shall see.
But spreading unequivocal hatred and disdain for Mormons does not help those of us who are Mormon who are trying to fix things. Yes, those who have left Mormonism due to trauma need a safe place to be away from that, and acknowledging the church’s many faults can be helpful to those people. I myself have criticized my church quite vocally. But refusing to listen to the stories of those of us who choose to stay, telling others that we are evil or stupid or what have you, is also quite traumatic to us. We are people too, with thoughts and feelings. It is easy to dismiss us out of hand if you assume we aren’t.
I try to be open about my religion and political stances on my tumblr. See for yourself: It’s a mix of Mormonism, LGBTQ+ activism, Marxism, and pretty much every other leftist political position you can find. Along with all the furry stuff, of course. But despite all this, I am still terrified every time someone follows me to tell them I am Mormon. More than I am to tell them that I’m queer. Tumblr is not representative of how things work in the “real world,” of course, but I have received hatred for being a Mormon there as well. And it’s mostly other Christians. So on the one hand I’m hated by LGBTQ+ folks, on the other hand I’m hated by my church for being queer, and on the third hand (as apparently I have three hands), I am hated by other Christians. I do not face hatred to the same degree from other Christians. I saw it most on my mission. But still, it exists.
(Incidentally, Evangelicals, who you seem to have problems with, and perhaps rightly so, though I have not done a study of the matter myself, largely despise Mormons, from what I have heard. Something to consider.)
I want allies. I want help. I want understanding. If I am to push back against bigotry in my church, I need your help. I need everyone’s help. Fighting bigotry wherever we see it is a worthy pursuit, I think. And if we can succeed, we can make the world a better, safer happier place. I want to fight off the ghosts that haunt my church. You don’t have to fight them with me, but I would appreciate it if I could have your support. It would make my job much easier.
We aren’t enemies. At least, I don’t think you’re my enemy. We both have been hurt by homophobia and bigotry. We live in a capitalist hellscape where police brutality and racism are on the rise. Fascism is looming over the political backdrop, along with the ongoing threat of ecological disaster. I think we would be better off helping each other than going after each other. I ask that you please listen to us when we say you are hurting us. The Mormons you blocked knowingly followed you, an openly queer person who calls out racism and bigotry and pedophilia. Yet you assume we are in favor of those things. Someone can at once be part of an institution while recognizing it’s flaws. (Aren’t we both Americans? Why not move if we hate it so much?) And perhaps we have used the “No true Scotsman” fallacy to justify why we stay. I don’t believe I have. I don’t feel I need to.
I hope that you consider what I’ve said here. I hope we can work together. And I hope that no matter what, you find peace wherever you end up.
Yours truly,
Demo Argenti

also furries have been holding the line against nazis for YEARS, much respect to furries against fascism
tired of those normies making the most reactionary videos on furries, as if the community doesn't mostly consist of queer, neurodivergent, and kink positive folks of many difficult backgrounds.

Doctor Dillamond from Wicked? He’s a goat, in case you couldn’t tell.
________
Oh I am aware he is a Goat. The stage adaptation really does Doctor Dillamond dirty. If you want the real goods on Doctor Dillamond, you must read the book, like I have and was when this ask was submitted. I was overjoyed when I got this submission, because it gave me an outlet to talk about the intricacies of certain things in Wicked. In the book, he is obviously more goat-like, and while neither adaptation is rather attractive, it allows a discussion of how a world can live with both anthropomorphism and non-anthropomorphism in animals.
Tumblr media
Here’s the illustration of our Goat from the novel. He is significantly more pleasing to the eye than this stage counterpart. Doctor Dillamond is furrybait and I can assure you this kind of post on a public forum would be exactly one of his desires.
And now. Time for the read-more full of a miniature essay on the representation of Animals in Wicked as performed by a white, gay, English student at university who could be doing homework, right now.
In the novel, animal-kind is split into Animal and animal. The former is what a lot of the characters on this blog represent: an animal with some for of anthropomorphism that allows them to have a common ground with humans. Animals with a large A denotes the civility, a topic which could be broken down in the form of racial and post-colonial discourses, and as such, they are the subaltern of Oz.
I apologize quickly that there will be spoilers for the novel in this. Unlike the musical, where Animals are de-domesticated, and forced to not really exist save for a token of desire from Elphaba, the novel murders Doctor DIllamond. In the novel, he is privately tried, charged, and executed for treason against the wizard, These deeds are carried out by a steampunk robot who is owned by Madame Morrible, a name you may recognize if you are familiar with the play. Dr. Dillamond was too close to a breakthrough that would explain physiologically and theologically how Animals came to be, which as a side note is the exact reason I wanted badly to read this book in May. As he came close to this discovery, he was murdered in the night, but as it was performed by a member of the authority of the Wizard, nobody was charged. It especially matters, because this servant of cog and copper was cleared of any wrong doing as it has no moral compass and was simply following orders.
Dr. Dillamond is not a constant echoing memory in our dear Fabala’s mind, as she has more pressing matters in the novel. One of which being that Fiyero was engaged before she met him, and had an affair with him. The musical falls short in this area, too, because it’s just not as necessary for the plot of possible romance. Fiyero is a prince of an entire kingdom within the Land of Oz, and already has threats as a position of power in a country shifting toward fascism under the wizard. His affair with a woman who conspired to kill the aforementioned machine of Morrible allows the Wizard’s secret police, who the musical has Fiyero take charge of, to murder him without any consequence. This weighs on Elphaba’s mind and she must make amends to her lovers’ wife, who never accepts it. Among many things, this does lay waste to create the Wicked Witch of the West’s desire to fight against the tyranny of the wizard.
In many aspects of her life, Elphaba tries to make right and never succeeds. At a point, her own sister, who was born without arms (not without the ability to walk), directs the execution of a few Animals, who at this point have been reduced entirely to animals with the ability to speak, but not the authority to do so. Elphaba’s heart breaks for these Animals and liberates them from their execution. The Animals object to this, because they assume their place in the world that has absolutely no place for them. Elphaba only sees this as an opportunity for activism, having attempted to teach an animal to grow the sensibilities of an Animal. As much as we want Elphaba to succeed in her fight for freedom, she is a tragic hero, and will die by the method we all know she does. The novel ends on her completely distraught and disheveled, refusing to accept her fate, but succumbing to it nonetheless.
The discussion of Animal versus animal that Wicked leads is probably a very strong talking point if applied in furry spheres. I hope to use anthropomorphism as a discussion of racial and post-colonial analogy at one point in my future. I want to mix my fields of interest whether or not they are able to fully combine.
