Last night I was thinking about writing Jeff Hardy fanficition, but like as a married adult it seems weird to write a fanfic about another married adult man?? Idk.

Anyway I decided I could write it as an AU and instead of calling him Jeff Hardy he could be called 🥁🥁🥁🥁 wait for it 🥁🥁🥁 HEFF JARDY. THE JARDY BOYS. I think Matt can just be Matt Jardy but HEFF JARDY is the single most funny thing I've thought of since idk yesterday

DISCLAIMER: I’m not telling anyone that this is how mechpreg should go, this is my own personal opinion. 

Should this be apart of my ‘Why the big strong mech should carry’ discussion that I started a few weeks ago? maybe. (Part two to that here)

Unpopular opinion, Blitzwing should be the one carrying. Look I found the perfect explanation for this. Ok, I saw a post once in the #blitzwing tag where someone once compared Blitzwing’s and Bumblebee’s sizes for there art. And turns out, Bumblebee is small as hell. So, my point? You know how in every single blitzbee fanfiction (I think) you see where it has carrying in it, it’s usually bumblebee. 

My point - why Bumblebee shouldn’t be carrying and Blitzwing should be. 

Let’s consider the sparkling’s wellbeing for a second. For it to grow and be forged properly, it needs room. If it doesn’t have room it’ll make it. For a bot as small as TFA bumblebee, the sparkling would DEFINELY need alot of room. I don’t think cybertronians have organs like humans do, but lets pretend they do. and i’m sorry if I sound like a idiot, I’ve been having a bad mental health day and I feel like throwing myself out of a window, (I’m getting better dw) and this came up in my head spinning like a microwaving hot pocket and I had to share it.

It’s simple

Blitzwing sparks bumblebee.

Bumblebee gets sparked.

The sparkling needs room because Bumblebee is quite small.

The sparkling proceeds to squish Bee’s organs and basically flattens them to get the room.

Bumblebee does not survive the forging process and offlines when the sparkling is forged. 

(I know it sounds quite grim but it’s true.)

SO. The pros and cons of Blitzwing carrying.

PROS (more like fanfiction ideas but meh): 

Blitzwing has a larger frame, and can provide the growing sparkling the room it needs. 

Funny scenarios that might insue from Blitzwing while he’s carrying. Example; The sparkling kicks for the first time and Blitzwing is shouting in german in a panic because he doesn’t know that it’s normal. 

Cuddly Random Blitzwing. That’s it. Just picturing Blitzwing cuddling Bee.

The autobots figuring out that Blitzwing is carrying and there’s differencing reactions. 

Bumblebee realizing that he just got Blitzwing sparked. Blitzwing. 

CONS (eheehe Cons ok i’ll stop my jokes are horrible):

It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that Blitzwing at first, wouldn’t care. He’ll still go out fighting the autobots, infact I think he’ll be oblivious. He would only start caring when Bee has a heart-to-heart convo with him about it, basically like “Hey uh Blitzwing I think your carrying..” 

Then Hothead getting all upset that he can’t go out and smash Autobots into lamp posts anymore for 9 months because he’s carrying.

(Side bullet-point I think Random would actually want a sparkling. I just see him getting excitied. And that’s damn adorable but anyways.)  (happy end; all three sides of blitzwing collectively agree that they want to carry a sparkling.)

I've tried a couple of AI chats and they're OK, they're not the best. Some stuff the characters say is so wildly OOC that takes the immersion away immediately.

However, I think chat AIs and fanficitions scratch two different itches. You read fanfics when you want to read a story, see what other people think of your blorbo, see your blorbo interact with other character and adapt to new situations - all things you need a real person to write.

When I interact with chat AIs I mostly want amusing content to consume quickly and kinda mindlessly, the way you might put on a song in the background or do sudoku on the train. And yes part of the experience is also asking the AI a silly question that a real person would absolutely know how to answer in character and getting the most OOC (and sometimes wild) answer you can think of. I asked one bot to tell me something about themselves and it told me umprompted about a secret child it had with another character and the heartbreak at not being able to be together and it was so OOC on all levels that it was just funny (none of that even remotely happened in canon).It was meme-y in a way a real person could never write.

But more to the point, reading fanfics is passive. You log in, read what other have written for you and that's it. Writing with a chat AI is interactive, you can steer the conversation in the direction that you want it it to go. If you're in the mood for doing something and not consuming something, you won't be reading a fanfic. If you don't have an AI, you may boot up a game, or get writing yourself, or draw your blorbo, but it's very different than reading, or watching TV, or listening to music.

The closest thing there is to using a chat AI is roleplaying in my opinion (although, there are many differences). But it's not like you have access to a RP buddy 24/7, or even a friend you can share blorbo thoughts with. Maybe they are busy, maybe you just don't know anyone and the best you can do is scream into the emptiness that is your blorbo's tag on tumblr, sometimes your fandom/blorbo is so obscure that there is no content for it even if you look.

Sorry for the rant but I've seen chat AIs slander a lot lately but personally I think they work perfectly for what they were intended for, they were never meant to be a substitute for fanfics to begin with. Many people conflate the outrage towards Ai art with this but they are very different issues.

Reading through the papers for my thesis rn, cause our proffesor kindly reminded us the semester is swiftly coming to an end and he'll start pushing as a lil' (even tho we still have over 3 months but okay yeah, he has a point) and so I got stressed enough to immediately switch from fic to my thesis xD So, I guess his strategy worked, lmaoo

Anyway, reading through the two I want to read through before sending the chap away will prob take me a few hours, but at least that's a break for my fingers/wrists? Then I might actually post that one smutty short tonight ;D I'm kinda feeling it, hah. And if possible, I'll try to finish up this scene from chap 26, cause there's not much left. Busy Monday, but that's nice ^^

Gotta push through and feel accomplished - and less stressed - later, hah
