The New Fun: Staying In vs. Going Out at 50
Remember when going out used to be fun? Yeah, me too... but that was 20 years ago. Now, between the loud music, the hangovers that last for days, and the effort it takes to get dressed, I’d rather be home in my sweats by 9 p.m. 😴
Remember when going out was the highlight of the week? You’d get ready like you were preparing for a magazine cover shoot, stay out until dawn, and somehow, miraculously, roll into work the next day with a cup of coffee and a smile. Those were the days, weren’t they? But now, as a woman in my 50s, going out just isn’t what it used to be, and I’ve been trying to figure out why. Spoiler alert: it’s…

If I ever do get properly into dst character modding I like have to make an oni character mod at some point, but the issue is Id want it to be an Olivia mod so bad but also Nails is as far as I'm aware the only legal character name wise and as such it feels like it has to be them, y'know for the bit. But also I have already written too much Olivia dst dialogue and I need an excuse to use it damnit
#rat rambles#oni posting#starve posting#also good ol dr winslow would be dead in seconds I think#not that most of the cast would fare much better but I believe in olivia to last longer#more importantly though it would simply be easier to justify olivia kit wise as while nails was involved in printing pod stuff they didnt#yknow. invent the damn thing.#idk we technically dont have olivia initials yet she Could have a w middle name if we believe hard enough#we have a jackie middle initial tho so shes off the table doubly because she also would have like 50 in each stat lol#also again olivia constant dialogue is just so much more fun to write#especially when it comes to mob examination quotes#also several jokes and bits that I could technically do with nails too but olivia is easier to craft a consistent voice for#as much as we get a surprisingly large amount of characterization for nails they still only have one log of dialogue at the end of the day#like I have hcs and stuff but they are fragile as hell#klei could come out swinging and recontectualize everything theyve ever said at any time if they wanted to it wouldnt be hard#again its one log with little context to most of the things they say#so while we have a glimpse of their character we don't rly see them in enough contexts to rly get a solid general characterisation I think#not that I want more per say my point is simply that any hcs I do have could easily be disproven by not a lot of new information#like itd be very easy for them all to crumble into dust the second klei adds more logs#technically many of my olivia hcs are equally fragile but those are mostly the ones that dont matter much in this context#like idk they could be like fun fact olivia actually loves kids and gets along great with them but I doubt thatll happen#oh that reminds me scariest thing abt oni actually is the idea that some of our lil scientist guys could have kids#like the email abt there not being a bring your kids to work day doesnt inherently mean any of the characters we know have kids but it#makes me remember the possibility and that scares me#like I dont wanna think abt devon potentially having a kid I dont wanna imagine them putting pictures of their baby with toast online#I mean I do but its still like wtf why do you have a life that existed thats scary and it also makes me sad but its also funny so its good#I still stand by my frankie and mason divorce hc frankie got custody of the baby devon got custody of the food blog#its a good think jackie and olivia dont have a kid thatd suck for the kid so bad#like imagine your moms being the worlds saddest wettest cats of women and just having to grow up with that#and theyd be terrible parents for sure jackie would be an absent father and olivia would become an alcoholic

the blog this person commented on was a quick rant of mine where I talked about being so done with men's unnecessary opinions about abortion and it's just so funny how TRAs even have to insert themselves into topics that didn't even mention them.
also this is just a silly comment on top. I am a woman, one of the 2 sexes that makes up about 50% of the world's human population. Being a woman does not make me special and the abortion rights I want aren't special either and they for sure shouldn't be a privilege that only some women can access and others cannot - based on poverty, the country they live in - the list goes on.
And this includes anyone who could someday need or want to get one: Which are women. Does not matter how that woman might identify. Abortion rights are female rights, they are sex specific.
Abortion rights are healthcare.

Tumblr is so US/UK centric. Scrolling through this site you'd think there were no other tv shows than star trek and no other bands than the monkees and that the stonewall riots were the only meaningful political activism that has ever happened. There's so much great culture elsewhere. I bet you have never even heard of Tapani Kansa.

Why is there even discourse about this... Yeah, the folks at Stonewall could have been more respectful towards the police officers who were just doing their jobs, but why are we acting like throwing some pennies at the police officers and calling them "Lily Law" is the worst type of oppression

You know what? No. Fuck you. I'm tired of you all talking about these people like they were your poor little meow meows. Have you read about this at all? The raid did not happen because the police "hates gay people wah wah". Stonewall Inn was run by the mob. The. Fucking. Mob. Would you rather have the police not protecting us from criminals, huh??? And the rioters were nothing but a bunch of attention seekers. I heard that a guy from the fucking Mattachine Society phoned newspapers and took pictures of the riot. I'm so disappointed, that was the only gay group that seemed to care about looking respectable in the eyes of the heterosexuals. People who were there made us all look bad and set our movement back like 50 years. Fuck you for supporting them.

I am the first anon who posted about misandry. Thank you for your answer, I understand better why you posted this banner.
I just want to make a distinction between what I'd call feminist misandry and TERF misandry.
My friends are the farthest you can imagine from TERF (a lot of them are even trans). They are misandric because a lot have suffered from cis-men. For them, misandry is a protective instinct: if you meet a group of cis-men, be careful.
They hate cis-men as an oppressive group. They don't take a essentialistic view of masculinity, but a sociological one. Men are a group of power, that can abuse it, and they will protect each other. And of course, they don't include trans women in it. (A lot of the feel waaaaay safer with trans women than cis men).
That has nothing to do with TERFs, who use misandry to say "trans women are oppressors" or "trans women are essentially men"
Anyway, I understand the desire to piss off terfs and radfems. But I'd be sad if the word "misandry" was appropriated by them.
Sorry to bring that discourse, and thank you for the clarification!
genuinely don't understand why people are so deadset on identifying themselves as bigots who think 50% of humanity is out to get them. like, being against the patriarchy means you're a feminist or anti-sexist or ideally just a normal person but idk how many people agree. irrational hatred of men is not the same as wanting to knock the patriarchy down, all it does is just: be irrational hatred against men. when there's discussions like this, it also verges on "trans men aren't real men" territory because for some people, they are the exception. until they go on T and dress in a masculine way, then they're too cis man-like to participate in queer spaces (dunno how common it is, but it does happen!)
english isn't my first language, nor have I grown up in an american culture, so I wonder if it's my use of the word misandry that sets people off? like, is that a loaded word? because the definition of misandry is simply "hatred against men". it doesn't mean you feel uncomfortable with men or are scared of them, it means you hate men. I never thought that I would get so much shit for saying that it's weird to have such a deep, blind hatred for half of humanity. I don't think the word can be appropriated my radfems/terfs because there's nothing to be taken out of context, it means the same thing for anyone who uses the word.
why not just call yourself a feminist, an anti-sexist person, an anti-patriarchy person, etc etc. why do you label yourself as a person who hates all men for being born men and no matter what they do, they can never become a good person because they were born as men? I'm genuinely so baffled. not that anyone is planning on changing their mind about this, atleast not me.
thanks to the comments and asks that confirm to me that I'm not crazy for thinking this lol. also, I'm just some guy behind the screen. you can unfollow, block me, ask me to remove your submissions from the queue, whatever.
Just a fun side note, you know who started this discourse in the first place? All of this about transandrophobia and misandry?
little chihiro over on my queer blog... (I really liked the headcanon so if the person who submitted them sees this, i'm not saying it's your fault at all) just funny that it's this little cute character.
I should probably stop answering asks about his now.

I have been following your blog for a long time... you're one of my favorite people on this site. I have been picking a handful of raspberries on my way to work (the bushes are on public land) for weeks, and every time I do I think of you. I don't mean this in a parasocial way, i know i don't know you and you don't know me, but it is nice to think that here i am, a lesbian scavenging and enjoying nature, and across an ocean there is another lesbian feeling the same way.
There is a possibility that I will be moving in a few months to somewhere with a yard, and if that happens I will rewild the lawn and plant a garden and you are like 50% of the reason why. :)
I have read your reply about why you don't want to monetize your blog. I understand deeply. I am also disturbed by people who think like your father did, and I at least have never had to live with them. You have my full sympathies.
However, i would ask that you consider it regardless; or, please consider what it is like from my perspective, even if you ultimately disagree. I enjoy hearing from you and all these stories of your life. I wish you well. It does not feel like a debt to me. I do not put a price on anything you post. It is like this; I feel that, even without knowing it, you have been very nice to me. It inspires a fellow-feeling in me. But you are very far away. I cannot offer to help with your garden. I cannot gift you homemade food. I could, however, send you money.
For me, and i suspect many others in your inbox, the money is not the point. It is a substitute. We cannot give you a new plant or a handful of raspberries, but we could give you the means to buy what you can't scavenge. I do not want you to feel indebted, or like tumblr has become a job, or anything like that. And of course only you know what is best for you. But please consider enabling donations, even only very humble donations. I think I speak for more than just myself when I say that to us it would be like a "buy me a coffee :)" button like creatives use sometimes. I would like to buy you a coffee.
Raspberries! Those are wonderful to pick on your way to work, I'm honoured you'd think of me. I am mostly finding blackberries but I love raspberries.
When you get to rewild the yard please post pictures and just randomly tag me so I can see!! I love wild yards and all of the bees and ladybugs and small birds and critters will be so happy, they'll visit your yard and give enrichment to your life.
Thank you for explaining your perspective to me, you're incredibly sweet and it gives me heart to know that women out there are having a positive effect from my blogging, and you're all incredibly sweet wanting to help me out or give me things. I'm allergic to money but I'm already getting what I want - engagement, getting to talk to other women, getting very valuable information from women smarter than me, having people write little comments and send me adorable messages. Could anyone even ask for more? This message means a lot to me!
I'll stop complaining, I realize I've made people worried for me, and that was not my intent, I always think I am sooo funny when I complain about stuff xD and can't resist it. I'll think of other ways to be fun!

Episode 47 - Indie
It is cute to see that indie is still friends with all the people he met during his adolescence.
Cough-cough. Unlike certain other people.
His and Kerubim's life stories are in direct opposition. If one of them ever spoke of their childhood, chances are, the other one would be like, "You have no parents? Well MINE was controlling so you have it better, WET-NOSE" or "You had a shit parent? WELL, AT LEAST YOU DIDN'T HAVE HIM DIE IN FRONT OF YOU WHEN YOU WERE 5."
No wonder they hate each other's asses.
Though, it is funny how both of them had fathers who had always acted like no matter what they do, they will never be good enough.
It's a shame we hadn't seen these friends of Lou's during the series. They have nice designs, especially the yellow one.
Not a Jurgen-Crepin food moment, but this might be useful for pinpointing which fruits exist within the setting.
Patafiks is so funny to me, like... Guys there are 5.5 characters in the animated shows who are canonically queer in some way. One of them fucking sucks, one of them dies within the 20 minutes of being introduced, the 0.5 of them is Kerubim Crepin's ambiguous gender dysphoria, the normal two are Simone and Julie, and the last one is a dogboy yandere (who briefly dated("dated") Kerubim Crepin).
We live in a society.
Indie talks about Kerubim the same way I talk about him on this blog. We are so alike...
Insert "this bitch always starting shit" meme here.
Even though Ouginaks and Ecaflips both follow the same god, — albeit his different sides, — this perfectly showcases the difference in ideology that makes them hate one another.
While Ecaflips are all about mysticism, destiny, prophetising, and simply letting the current flow, Ouginaks are all about making their destiny.
Though I will be real, considering the things Ecaflip puts his demigods through, — like the, uh, son leaderboard within his dimension, or his treatment of Kerubim, (and his hatred of women, I guess, since there is no daughter leaderboard?) — as well as the Ecaflip City and its Ecaflip Psychward, I think his two personalities are more alike than we are led to believe.
It's just that the kitty personality has more glitz, and is better at masking being just as sadistic.
This line really puts how long they've known each other into perspective. God.
It also makes me think hard about the tendency of Ankama to not make distinct visual designs for characters aging, — like in Waven. Despite 30 years having passed between season 1 of Wakfu, and the start of Waven, characters like Miranda and Kabrok still look exactly the same.
I had always associated young Kerubim's design with the age range of 19-30 at best, but who's to say he can't, in this episode, be in his 40s-50s? How many years did he and Lou live together for? And how large is the gap of that unaccounted for part of Kerubim's life, the one that he never opens up about, after Lou had left him?
...I think I hauve covid.
Y'know what, I think I will be insane for a minute, and say this:
Joris, Atcham, and Kerubim really are like platonic soulmates. It feels like every single thing in their lives somehow rhymes, — like every single step they took simply brought them close to the inevitable conclusion of being together.
Sure, whatever, just tell me things like "Atcham knew, and worked with Julith, and they had a pretty amicable relationship", "Yeah Kerubim and Indie rescued the Ivory Dofus that would one day lead to Joris's birth, and then would lead to his orphanhood", "Yeah Kerubim has always wanted to be a father, and felt a certain way about kids being orphaned the same way he was", "Yeah Atcham and Kerubim went to the same war where Julith and Jahash fell in love and were probably their seconds-in-command."
Tell me that. Expect me to be normal about it. I promise I won't disappoint you.
Anyway,
I always found it very interesting that, despite becoming the Champion of Bonta, it was not Indie who went to that war, but Kerubim.
Perhaps Indie was long happily retired by that point, — perhaps he veered from adventuring into archaeology, for his museum, — while Kerubim was old, with no friends, and not much to live for anymore.
It probably was a self-destruction thing, in the "Atcham, and The Butcher of Brakmar herself, will be there. I'm so bored, and tired... It will be poetic if I defeat them, or die trying to. Then I'll be a legend. Also, there are a lot of people at wars, maybe one of them will be friendly to me :3" way.
World of Twelve heroes are always doing this shit. 💀 though considering he can't die, this isn't even suicidal ideation. It's ideation-ideation. God.
Despite everything, Kerubim does care about Indie, a lot. Indie seems to have cared for him too, — but, at times, I really do wonder if Kerubim's feelings for him ran much deeper than Indie's.
Every sign of genuine emotion is laughed at, and a genuine "I had always respected you" gets a downright haunting "yeah, and your taxidermied head will look nice in my museum when you die".
That must hurt, doesn't it?
It's funny, how life works out. Just like Kerubim, he ended up raising his kid in a completely opposite way than how he was raised. And then he dies, and his kid gets taken in by Kerubim, — who has already taken in the child of his another enemy.
...The implications of Lilotte's life make me sad. Unlike Joris, she didn't grow up in a hazardous, infested, hoarding environment. Indie was likely not mentally ill to the shits. Yet Joris's worst nightmare, — his father passing away, and him being forced to fend for himself, — actually happened to her, immediately ripping away the normal, maybe even privileged, life she had. And it just compounds the sense of loss she already had for her birth parents.
Unlike Joris, who grew up wondering vaguely about his birth family, it seems like much more of a sore spot, with her attachment to her bell...
(Off topic but, god, it's so Bonta-core, that the adoptive daughter of a previous champion of Bonta, who had a museum and was rich, ended up on the streets like a stray. I hate that city so much, it's unreal.)
She uses some pretty dark humor to cope with that. I mean, she already lost two families. No way in hell she's losing a third one. Which kinda harkens back to Kerubim's own backstory, and his own loss of the entire Crepin family, save for Atcham.
I think it's cute that, just like him, — she becomes a mother at some point in her life. Maybe it's because she looked up to Kerubim, who had a similar life story to hers, and that inspired her. Maybe it's just something she wanted, even without thinking of Kerubim's own orphan to dad pipeline.
But either way, it's like poetry — it rhymes.

Meghan's bump holding pose is so uncomfortable by u/AdelaideSadieStark
Meghan's bump holding pose is so uncomfortable So I was watched the video Royal family marks 50 years since Investiture of Prince of Wales. And Harry and Meghan show up ~15 second in. I have a bit of a habit of resting my hand on my stomach when i'm nervous (not pregnant) and my instinct is to touch the middle of my belly. Too high or low, and it tired me out.But I wondered if being pregnant made it different. So I stuffed a pillow up there, as one does, to make it seem like I was pregnant. Honestly, it felt really awkward and even more uncomfortable and unnatural than on a flat stomach. I've seen a few pregnant women in my life, and neither have I ever seen anyone hold the top of their bump. It's usually the middle or lower half of the abdomen. Like Catherine use to clasp her hands in front of her or i've seen friends lifting the bump so lower pressure. But never rest it on top.Bottom line: Not only does it look awkward and unnatural but it also feels awkward and unnatural. In the grand scheme of things, this isn't a big deal. But it peeved me out a bit.ETA: William always looks like he's having the time of his life when talking to someone. A few William and Catherine edits have come up on my tiktok and William always looks like he's telling his entire life story to someone. Of topic, but there was this video of William and Catherine visiting a school and it takes William like half a minute to be on first name terms with the animals and he interacts with children in such a natural way. Kitty Wales is a sweet TikTok account if anyone wants cute (and funny) William and Catherine edits. post link: https://ift.tt/SYyhZLG author: AdelaideSadieStark submitted: September 13, 2024 at 03:32PM via SaintMeghanMarkle on Reddit disclaimer: all views + opinions expressed by the author of this post, as well as any comments and reblogs, are solely the author's own; they do not necessarily reflect the views of the administrator of this Tumblr blog. was looking thru terfs posts and its so fucking funny??
*joke abt bottom surgery that is very obvious* (context: the joke was 'when gay bottoms talk Abt how hard it is to prep for an*l so I tell them to get bottom surgery') OH MY GAWD I cant believe they are trying to make it like bottom surgery SOOO normalized !!!! you have to dilate for the rest of your life and you could get sepsis and DIE !!
most mtf surgery recipients don't have to dilate for the rest of their lives. some have too for extenuating circumstances they cant control. (and if youre going to beat on women for vaginal problems they cant control, are you really a feminist?)
and while the sepsis thing is true, not only is sepsis more common in ftm surgeries, but the only reason people die of sepsis is because of lack of treatment, so the real issue here is not the fact that people are get gender affirming surgery , but the fact some people cannot afford medical help / some doctors refuse help to some people.
a screenshot from a terf blog :
the ironic thing is, this blog makes fun of how trans woman get joy out of doing stereotypical things, such as cleaning. this blog also says much more negative things about trans woman. I don't think I need to tell you how many trans woman never come out of the closet or detransition because their natural human state is offensive or disgusting to you.
i want to make it clear, that I am okay with women not shaving. (hell I'm technically one of them.)
another screenshot from that same terf blog because I don't feel like inviting terfs into my feed by researching for them:
hmm... its almost like 50% of trans kids commit over people like you, who put down and don't accept transgender people and its ironic because that sepsis rate from earlier? is lower than the rate on trans kids committing.
sources:
terfs are incredibly contradictory and by refusing trans women the right to be themselves, they're being misogynistic.

Mod, ignore this if you don't want to drag up holivia, but I find it so funny how larries go on and on about how tabloids lie (true) but instead of going to a primary source for the truth (Harry, Anne, Harry's friends, trusted journalists etc.) they turn to LARRIES for their "facts". Like, this anon is still stupid in the same way, just now she's being fed bullshit by her chosen fic writer.
Anyone who was paying attention to Harry during holivia could see how into her he was. If you weren't a larrie blinded by rage, everyone could see it (that's why there was so much backlash against her from jealous harries)
Agree that it's bizarre that they would rather believe women in their 50s who have never met Harry and Louis than the men themselves and their family and friends.
Elsewhere on that blog, Gina is making more false claims. 'Antis' don't think Habit is about 'the band', we think it's about Louis' relationship with Eleanor - as is the whole album. Every song fits a couple who got together young, split for a substantial period, and then reunited. No song fits an ongoing ten year relationship. She's so stupid that she still thinks Sweet Creature is about Trashlinson.
Yes, Harry's relationship with Olivia deeply upset them and they tried hard to suppress photos like this:

Hi! I saw your blog dp of Togo and I just read all his eng available stories and just had to rant if you dont mind! I WAS NOT EXPECTING HIM to become one of my favourite characters of all time his story had a lot of depth in both S1 and 2 and it was so surprising! If you're up for it can you tell me about your thoughts on him? Im just so EXCITED 😆😆😆
Hi, @joyfulenthusiastwitch thank you for your ask. Actually, Togo is my favorite and I am really glad you started this conversation.
Togo got my interest since he appeared in Kasai's MS 2. I started writing about him even long before his story was confirmed for Japanese app. Like, it was obvious that the man had a crush on MC. And I love when people that are usually stoic have obvious crushes on someone, it makes them so cute and everything. Plus, we don't get so many stories with the man falling in love with MC from the start, not only after she fell.
And I can talk about his first season for days. It was perfect, in my opinion. It had funny moments, dramatic moments without them being out of hand, but pretty realistic. Togo is funny, and kind, and what I love the most about him, an obvious feminist.
I hate it when victim blaming and jealousy are portrayed as "care" for MC. With all my love for Araki Jun, his first season is the best representation of "victim blaming". And I let it slip in Voltage, but it was a breath of fresh air to see a male character being like: "I'll take the blame for divorce, because women have it harder from the society." Him saving MC from sexual harassment, and other instances that I don't remember in small details.
Plus, Togo is a very good boss. Have you seen him talking on the phone with a rude client/coworker in Kuranosuke's season 3? That's golden.
However, I actually liked his first season way more than his second one. Maybe because I was so hyped up about his first season and waited for it more than half a year. His season 2 was good, but in my opinion, the bar that season 1 put was too high. Like, I have more than 700 screenshots of his season 1, and less than 50 of his season 2. But it can also be due to the fact that I had exams when it came up and was too exhausted to admire it's true value.
But I do still love a lot of things that Togo has done in season 2. I agree with someone in the game's comments that the writers have to do something with the 5 years long absence, because it will be hard to make very good and appealing seasons one after another with them being long distance for so long. But we will see. I hope MC is gonna go after him soon.
Putting all together, I love Daimon Togo. Like, when I saw his first season, I was like: "I really hope I meet someone like him in real like." He actually got my bar for men higher.

Party Like It’s 1946
“You’ll get old someday…if you live long enough.”
Those were the words my mother repeated often when I was growing up. Well, I have lived long enough, and I guess I can say I’m getting old. But along with that “getting old” has been the opportunity to have witnessed many things, some bizarre.
Like the Tupperware parties that Mom would sometimes host in our house. I’m pretty sure it was the lure of a nice gift that was promised by her friend the Tupperware lady, whose job it was to make sure there were plenty of parties going on to sell their extensive line of plastic containers. And the Tupperware lady earned her income, if you will, just like everyone else involved in multilevel marketing gimmicks.
Dad, my brother, and I wisely left the house. This was no place for the males of the species to be hanging out. And given that it was the 60s, the women were all dressed up as if they were going to church. On a weeknight. As a result of the thousands of Tupperware parties hosted across not just the US, but also around the world, I venture to say there was not a kitchen anywhere that didn’t have at least a few of those rugged containers hiding in cabinets. Their signature “burping” method sent the signal that food would be safe in these air-tight containers.
It was a great idea for the time. Invented in 1938, and finally trotted out to market in 1946, Earl Tupper promised to both solve all of our food storage problems, as well as provide income opportunity for women. Some might say it was exploitation, but women bought it nonetheless. For many decades, the brand was only available through those individuals who were recognized as distributors.
It truly was genius, because group psychology takes over once the party starts. Every woman invited to the party felt the implicit pressure to buy at least one item. Some bought into the model hook, line, and sinker, and became distributors in their own right. The distributor earned a commission on every item sold, and Mom got a free bowl. Oh boy.
A funny thing happened, though, and Mr. Tupper’s invention started losing its relevance over time. Women entered the workforce, and the business model of Tupperware parties faded fast. The company tried selling through Target a couple of decades ago, but that flopped. They had also tried their hand at e-commerce in 1999, but this too fell flat.
Today, the company is teetering on closing, its stock having shed 90% of its value in the last year, and 50% yesterday. The company had forged a new relationship with Target, but, simply put, sales are no longer what they once were. Not even close.
The problems are multiple. The brand is dogged by its dowdy image. For younger women today, this is the stuff your grandmother used. And never mind that the notion of housewives is antiquated.
Then there’s all the competitors. When Mr. Tupper was busy building his business, there was little competition. Today, though, there are scores of other plastic storage containers available, and often at far lower prices.
But just like the Girl Scouts whom were slow to embrace the modern era and start selling cookies online, Tupperware clung to their old business model long after it was practically dead. Who has the time or desire to host a household party to sell containers? At its worst, the model was mansplaining to women how they too could make money. But women have risen above that, and do not need to be humored.
I suspect that, barring a miracle cash infusion, we will be reading of Tupperware’s demise very soon. It was a nice run, but when your strategic thinking remains mired in methods that are generations removed from reality, one can only expect the worst. And just like my mother would have said, they lived long enough to get old.
It’s just that they failed to learn much of anything along the way.

Really funny how 99% of your posts ab women's rights are about trans people. None about real issues facing your country or the world we live in right now. It's always the same with TERFs, y'all will claim to be on women side but if we look at your actions in the real world you never done any work for women. It's all words and hidden hate. If you took all that energy to help homeless women around your city you'd be a feminist, here you're just sad.
You know what's really funny? 1 that you clearly don't know me nor have seen all my posts, dozens of which are commenting the latest news on women's rights and feminism, and urging action. 2 I can also quite recall having commented issues affecting not just my birth country, but also my second country and Europe. 3 In fact, I've debated with people about those. 4 But what have you read, the last 5 posts on my blog? And "you've never done any work for women" well that's fucking LOL. I'm an activist in politics and feminism. I don't need to give you any fucking receipts, but I'll have you know I've done more for women in my life than you ever will. Not just actively defending them out there in the street when something happens to one of our sisters, but also going to protests, rallies, going on strikes for women's rights (a tradition that begun years ago in my student days), being active in politics, being well-informed all the time (because I do read the news several times a day, and contrary to most people who read the same newspapers all the time, I actually vary and also go international), knowing the latest laws concerning women and writing to my MP with suggestions, complaints and ideas, as my current country lets me do. I also use my actual profession, my career and any and all of my professional actions to empower women in the Arts and Culture, and I have now thrice reported powerful men in the British Film Industry for sexist and dangerous-to-women behaviour, such as sexual harassment (and that's three open and ongoing police investigations with Scotland Yard). And you're very quick to judge that I don't help homeless women when in fact, I do. I suggest you don't have such a big mouth to say what I do or do not do in terms of volunteering, donating and helping, because I'm not one to come to Tumblr and brag about "oh my God have you heard what a saint I am and the latest 50 things I've done today? paving my way to heaven!". But again, you want receipts? OK! I'll let you know I'm involved with women's shelters, I actively aid homeless, not just female ones but also men, and I'm an activist in a series of things including feminism, LGBT rights, Human Rights and BLM. That means that I don't just do protests and rallies, but that I communicate with politicians (here you can just write to them) every single fucking time they mess up, and have worked, in all the years I've been old enough to vote, towards a more feminist, LGBT, all-races-welcome city in every city I've lived in long enough to be able to vote. Because of active political involvement like mine, I can give you for example my birth city in Spain (although I won't tell you which one because privacy rights), is now one of the most feminist cities of Spain, where women can report you for rape if they didn't give specific consent to sex, and where gays can be gays and nobody hurts them. And that is without mentioning work in students' councils, in university students' associations, and out in the cold collecting signatures for one cause or another.
Also, you can use the word TERF to refer to me, even though I find it very stupid and I'll tell you why. One, you guys use it like an insult. And it's not. It means Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist. And there's nothing wrong about being a TERF. The reason is, you should always start fighting for rights in your own home, and then expand. You can't take care of others' families until yours is safe. So if any feminist wants to focus on purely feminist issues, that's perfect. In fact, the whole idea of TERF is rather absurd. It'd be like having a White Exclusionary Black Lives Matter activism. We don't need to because we already understand BLM is about putting the focus on black lives, something anyone, doesn't matter who you are, can and should be involved in, and then we can all end racism, together. The same is with feminism. The whole idea of feminism is putting the focus on females (hence the fucking word, it's a no-brainer). So if you don't identify as female, the focus is obviously not on you. It doesn't mean we exclude anyone, because everyone can join and participate, as they should. And focusing on females means focusing on "the female", i.e. people with a female sex. That includes women and trans men who have not physically transitioned. So you can't really exclude at least some trans people from feminism. But as the word says and like I keep saying, we're talking feminism, so it automatically only includes females. Trans people don't frequently identify as females, so they exclude themselves. Just like the LGBT collective is not fighting or even thinking about straight people's rights, not because they're evil, but because it's the LGBT club. Feminism is the females club. If you're not comfortable in it, it's not like we exclude you, it's that you exclude yourself. Similarly, when trans women decide to start the Trans Women Movement, then nobody will say they're Female-Exclusionary, nor gay exclusionary, nor trans men exclusionary, because everyone will sympathise with the idea that you're focusing on trans women because you need to, and the name itself says what's about and what's not about. It was never about excluding anyone, it's about FOCUSING on certain population that clearly needs it. That's what feminism is about. And in my particular form of practising feminism, I've always fought for anyone who identified as woman, even trans women, as I've got a few trans women friends and know and sympathise with their issues, just like they've fought for me and my well-being. And of course, in my fight I also include trans men who haven't had surgery ergo, are still at risk of being vaginally raped, impregnated, and forced to deal with very female problems such as needing an abortion.
So I don't believe in the term Terf, I think it's completely absurd and makes no sense, I always laugh when somebody shouts it at me, and it's just one more way for the TRAs to try and insult feminists, try to make them feel bad, and I've studied this in propaganda techniques, you know? it's book stuff. It's all about using a term nobody really cares to know what it really means, and shouting it about until it becomes an insult. It's like the word "retard". Well, it never used to be an insult, did you know? It simply meant people behind in development, and it was used by doctors to call people and focus studies on helping them. But people began shouting it around as an insult, and so it became one.
I think in feminism there's just feminist or not feminist. You can, of course be a radical feminist (and there's radicalism in every activism, of course). Personally, I don't quite agree fully with the radfems I've known and talked with, and find radfeminism a bit too much for my comfort levels, so I stay in mere feminism.

I'm back!
I haven't posted in a few months. Busy, haven't had a lot to blog about, most of my journey of self betterment has really allowed me to be more comfortable with the thoughts inside my head and not have to spew them out somewhere. I've journeyed from a year long delusional episode caused by a lifetime of abuse, to being a real, genuine, very strong & talented grown ass man. I'm playing the piano at an impressive level, I am holding down my job with great precision, I'm ready to finally drive despite years of lacking help. I'm getting what I need, and I'm doing what little I can as someone who was born under the most unfortunate circumstances and treated with utter neglect and hate. Now a lot of you don't know that stuff, and that's fine. I don't share it a lot. But I was abused since an infant. It's not funny, but I find ways to joke about it anyways. My mom would german supplex little baby me's soft spot onto the concrete from the top rope. She died, thankfully. Overdosed on drugs like the degenerate loser she & most mothers are. I'm sorry to say but, if you had a 100% good mother, you were one of the lucky ones. Statistically, 1st world mothers are insanely abusive, and if you know me, you know I love my studies. And studies have always showed a dramatic increase in reported abuse from mothers since the 70's. It hasn't gone down substantially since, and hasn't even plateaued yet. What makes it even worse is that these articles containing these statistics are regularly censored, taken down, or otherwise hidden from view by the colleges which allowed them to take place, the thought police, or the websites they're posted to. But, even if you go and run the numbers yourself, on all abuse cases, unresolved, resolved, and dismissed, women come out as the cream of the crop in beating the ever loving shit out of children. Even if you just do convicted, it's still higher, which is surprised since the American justice system is dramatically sexist towards men.
But I digress from my genuinely biased tangent. A lot of you here know me well, that's why you follow me here... You're probably a friend who saw this in a YouTube description, my Discord account, or my other various social media which I don't use. What little people do know about me is; I am a writer. And a good one at that. I have a college grade understanding of the english language. On a very official test which I cannot name, I was given a score of 91-100. This is graded on a curve of course like most things. 50 is a passing highschool grade. Yeah, that 1600 on the SAT's is a 50 on this test I took. I got a 91. Do you want to know what that is equivalent to? Being 5 years in to a masters degree. For what little learning I did as a child, not going to school and not being properly home-schooled, I had clearly prioritized the right stuff. While my math was just good enough to pass, (Besides my 3D Geometry, I had a perfect score in specifically that) I managed to get a score so high in English, that I am comparatively as smart as someone who has spent five years and good amount of dough for a fancy piece of paper that doesn't do anything anymore. Not to toot my own horn, despite doing exactly that, but I am a writer through and through. It's my passion, my favorite hobby, and something I could do as a job till I die. That is all to say, I intend to finally post about what I write. I've written since I was a very small child, and I have had two books consistently going since I was a teenager. One is the now personally infamous "Last Cry of the Golden Eagle." and the other is the sci-fi horror titled "Those Prone to Violence." Let me elaborate. Last Cry of the Golden Eagle has been written. No, I'm not kidding. It had about three hundred pages, and I didn't like it. So I deleted it. To be redundant, I'm not kidding. I stand by that decision. I think it sucked, and if I'm not happy with what I put out, how can anyone be happy reading it? It was supposed to be about a group of mercenaries coming to terms with the death of their father figure, their leader. A group of people who all found a family in a group of space guns for space hire. It ended up just being a pseudo startrek ripoff featuring some sad buff guys with daddy issues. It needed a complete makeover, which really demotivated me, and despite STILL having it all mapped out in my head, to the point I've even dreamed it, I haven't put it to page. Not digital, nor physical. But a book I have been genuinely hard at work on for months now, especially in November, was my horror debut. Those Prone to Violence is the current working title of my sci-fi horror about a test which determines if you are going to be violent at a young age, and sends you to spend your teenage years in a special school, which in reality, is a prison. In which, all manner of human made horror is witnessed. This is all to say, I'm tired of sitting on these works. I'm fully intending to post them... And, where else but here? I can't fathom posting them to Reddit, but I will be doing an audio book reading on YouTube. I'll be posting chapter by chapter. And, hopefully, this will motivate me enough to finish it. I'll continue to write as a hobby, but there is no sense in writing only for myself. These books are my children, and my children deserve to see the world. I hope you enjoy. I'm going to post the first chapter now.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2024 — ESNA, EGYPT. A day in the life of a village.
Our morning outing was a walking tour of the village of Esna. This used to be a regional capital, but has since become just another struggling village along the Nile. Various organizations are trying to help Esna by renovating housing and setting up bazaars to help the people earn a living. For those people, we tourists are the way they earn that living. So they are very persistent in their sales pitches for the garments, table cloths, and souvenirs they sell. Very, very persistent!
On our walk, we saw a fair number of idle men. The few women that we saw were neither working nor idle, but were walking as though they had a purpose. We saw a cotton merchant. And a tailor who makes clothing from that cotton. We saw a man who irons that clothing with a heavy iron that he presses down with his foot. We saw shop keepers and food venders. A hearty breakfast from a food cart would cost less than 50¢ and would fill you up for most of the day.
And we saw a Coptic priest sitting in the sun outside his church. Egypt is a Muslim nation, but the Coptic Church is also very present. The word "Coptic" simply means "Egyptian." The Coptic Church can be thought of as the Egyptian Orthodox version of the Catholic Church. You can see that by the images on the interior of the church.
And toward the end of our walk we saw an Egyptian grandpa and his grandson. The grandpa was playing silly games and making funny faces. Some things are universal.
Our walk through the village of Esna was only about 90 minutes. But the glimpse it gave us of the lives of the ordinary people of Egypt will be with us for a very long time.
And we still have a lot of the day left!
So I think I will need to post another blog entry this evening. By then there will be so much more to tell and to show.
This has already been a good day!

Read this: (@_cuban_link) and Eva Mendes Dialogue:
Eva Mendes: "So, have you thought about what we talked about? Angelo is interested in having a Cuban wife, and honestly, you should really think about it. That’s the whole point behind 'Keith Sweat - Twisted.' The lyrics are pretty clear."
@_cuban_link: "I know, Eva, but I'm still undecided."
Eva Mendes: "Undecided? What do you mean? Are you saying you don’t want to represent the Cuban people?"
@_cuban_link: "Come on, Eva! I never said that. Of course, I’d be honored to represent the Cuban people, but all this is making me anxious, nervous even. I just need some time to think."
Eva Mendes: "I get it, take your time, babygirl. But if you’re not up for joining the royal family, just say the word. We’ll find another Cuban beauty to take your place. Trust me, there are plenty out there. You snooze, you lose."
@_cuban_link: "Yeah, I know! Cuban women are some of the hottest in the Hispanic community. What else is new? Like I said, I’ll think about it and take my time. I want to make a wise decision."
Eva Mendes: "I’m just sayin', I know a lot of Cuban women who would jump at the chance to be in your shoes. Angelo’s doing you a favor here, not the other way around."
@_cuban_link: "Yeah, I know, he’s a sweet kid. And that 'Keith Sweat' song? It’s so funny! He always plays it on his blog just to make me laugh. The way Keith Sweat sings sounds so comical; it’s hilarious."
Eva Mendes: "It’s a classic, for sure! That song has become a running gag. Gotta give it to Keith Sweat for that 90s gem."
@_cuban_link: "So, do you think I should have kids with Angelo? Honestly, I’m kinda scared of Uncle Sam, that big bad bully. You know what he did to our people. Our Cuban trauma has been real for over 50 years, and I don’t know if I’ve got the guts to face that."
Eva Mendes: "Yeah, I hear you. It’s in our Cuban DNA to resist that bully. But Uncle Sam will just have to deal with your marriage to Angelo. He doesn’t get a say."
@_cuban_link: "Like I said, the trauma of our people is still too fresh. Can we just change the subject?"
Eva Mendes: "Sure, no problem. Oh, by the way, I was reading the news today, September 25th. Guess what? Putin’s talking about nuclear war again."
@_cuban_link: "Eva, please! Can you not mention Cuba or Putin? I really don’t want to hear about it. Trauma, trauma, trauma—respect my trauma, alright?"
Eva Mendes: "Yeah, I know! It’s just that it’s such an interesting topic. When I talk about Russia and Cuba, I forget the trauma sometimes. It’s been part of our history for so long, it’s hard to avoid."
@_cuban_link: "Okay, I really gotta go. I’ve got a therapy appointment, and I need it right now. I’m bouncin'. Later, Eva."
Eva Mendes: "You’re bouncin’ already? I was hoping we could talk more about the Cuban people, but oh well. See ya later, chica."
The End.
P.S.:
Synopsis of the Dialogue Between @Cuban_Link and Eva Mendes:
In this witty exchange, Eva Mendes encourages @_cuban_link to consider marrying Angelo, hinting that the song "Keith Sweat - Twisted" symbolizes his interest in her as a Cuban wife. While @_cuban_link is honored by the idea of representing Cuban culture, she's undecided, expressing anxiety and the need to think things through. Eva, ever pragmatic, reminds her that many Cuban women would love the opportunity, emphasizing that Angelo is doing her a favor, not the other way around.
The conversation takes a lighthearted turn as they laugh about the recurring gag of Angelo playing "Twisted" to make @_cuban_link laugh, highlighting the comedic nature of the song. However, @_cuban_link reveals her deeper fear—facing the historical trauma that Cubans have experienced at the hands of the U.S. (Uncle Sam). Eva reassures her that resistance is in their Cuban DNA, but when Eva brings up sensitive geopolitical topics like Cuba and Russia, @_cuban_link asks to shift the conversation, clearly needing emotional space from such heavy subjects.
The conversation ends with @_cuban_link heading to therapy, leaving Eva wanting to continue their chat about Cuban heritage but understanding that her friend needs time to process her emotions.
