Fune, P-Model (1995)

Simply by virtue of not being quite so relentlessly, brutally pacy as P-Model and Big Body, Fune [Ship] listens as an odd moment of stagnation in the P-Model discography. It isn’t actually immobile or unambitious – Hirasawa bringing Sim City’s Thai fascination to his band, all while attempting sound palettes with a noticeably lighter temperament – but simply because Fune did not proceed at breakneck speed, it feels like a lesser work.
