You know what’s funny about looking up pictures of Peach in her wedding outfit? It was discovering some dumb detail that probably means nothing, but the implications are hilarious to me.

In both the games and in the movie, Peach has a veil on her wedding attire. And we all know that a veil over a face means she’s still a virgin (the original meaning was to ward off evil spirits or to submit to the future husband) But check this out.

@jancyweeks Day 7: Power (Couple) + AU

For the final day of jancyweek, I chucked them into my favourite Hitchcock movie that is so them, Rear Window!

I’d say Lisa and Jeff are a power couple. They do work together to solve a murder and also match each others freak (as they should <3)

I did plan on posting the fic I’ve been writing for it but due to uni, I wasn’t able to finish it in time like I planned. While I like the idea of OP being reincarnation of thirteen… wasn’t there a whole comic discussion between OP & Hotrod/Rodimus where he question what it felt like for Roddy and long story short: it was agonizing for Optimus but for Rodimus it was “amazing, warm, coming home” (not quote) very much chosen one energy and Optimus went “ah, of course. Same.”

I think it's complicated in the comics and I know there's an explanation somewhere but yeah there was a definite difference between the two's dynamics with the Matrix of Leadership in idwg1

(though, their general relationships with religion and leadership were also different, and that definitely affected things for them) (plus the circumstances that lead to them getting their pieces of the matrix / becoming primes)

But!

The idea of Orion/Optimus being raised with the expectation of becoming a Prime / technically being a prime but Hot Rod / Rodimus accidentally getting the matrix and becoming a Prime has to be sooooo crunchy (plus in general I feel like there's a lot of interesting interactions to be had between the two and we don't see it enough in canon)
