Behold, concept art for @choccy-milky ‘s Ravenclaw Clora Clemons in my style/Euphemia and Eleazar’s universe. Also known as a visual of my ✨struggle. ✨ Wanted to map out how to draw her comfortably before following through with my promise to have her meet the dragon. XD

Listen. Listeeen- I tried, I really did. Clora’s design just happens to be- the exact opposite of Euphie’s??? So I had to…improvise.

But I really do like how her hair turned out! Was playing around with her swooshy bangs and then I thought it’d be equal parts hysterical and cute if she had the devil horn hairdo. XD

To justify why it’s ridiculously long- in Euphemia’s reality, hair is a big fuck’in deal to most witches. They believe their dormant magic is stored and regulated within, so more hair= more power/status/bragging rights. My version of Hogwarts Legacy is based on a blend of actual witchcraft and wizarding world lore.

Yes, that is Sebastian’s shawl draped over her shoulders. I like to think his mother made himself and Anne shawls when they were first sorted into Slytherin, and he lets Clora wear his on occasion. <333

Clora struck me as a very “Moon-Oriented” person, particularly with the idea of her being Seb’s “light in the darkness.” So that’s where the Moon choker came from- she wears it as an amulet of protection and symbol of her devotion to magic.

THANK YOU ALL IM GLAD U LIKE MY ART!!🥹😭💖 @dariliondar-blog the program i use is clip studio paint and the brush i use (for lineart) is a clumsy pen from the assets store! ive been using this pen since the very beginning/for all of my lineart, i just love it idk, its easy to control and i like the texture, tho it can be a bit rough/messy. though another lineart pen i started dabbling with recently that i really like is bulky g-pen, i used it for my 9 page comic and really like it!! for colouring though i use different brushes literally EVERY time bc im so inconsistent/indecisive 😭so i cant help you there im sorry BAHAH 🙏

random kataleya facts:

Her hair used to be really long. She grew it long specifically to be spiteful in the altus mage circles. It was long enough that should could cover her ears, and she would purposely tuck it behind them.

Only cut her hair when she went into hiding and she hated having to do it. She also colored it black for the first couple of years with the Mercars.

The element that’s comes most naturally to her is lighting. But her favorite to use (when she feels a bit cruel) is frost.

Her family name, Fulminare, means roughly “to strike with lighting” and it’s I think the root for the word “fulminate” which means “to vehemently protest”. Which was incredibly intentional on my part lol

She’s trained in singing, dancing, and some forms of art. Her father has like a great respect for the act of creation so all his children have to do all to some degree. And he also views it as a form of like training intelligence, both physical and mental.
