Just going to deliberately park in the "staff only" spots at our apartment now since they kicked us all out of our parking lot with 0 alternative, just a note saying there's "plenty of street parking available" (that wasn't even true before they added 30+ extra vehicles and a construction zone to the mix) and I'm tired of driving around the block every night looking for a spot that isn't a mile away from our building and getting notes on my car telling me I'm parking on private property because god-forbid I park in front of someone's lawn.

i genuinely don't care how good a piece of ai generated art or writing looks on the surface. i don't care if it emulates brush strokes and metaphor in a way indistinguishable from those created by a person.

it is not the product of thoughtful creation. it offers no insights into the creator's life or viewpoint. it has no connection to a moment in time or a place or an attitude. it has no perspective. it has no value.

it's empty, it's hollow, and it exists only to generate clicks (and by extension, ad revenue.)

hybe knowing about all of the boycotts and calling the genocide in palestine the “israel issue” is genuinely fucking insane. the fact that that they say that it was “offending korean fans” and that they were waiting for the “issue” to pass and were going to pretend that they didn’t know about international fans trying to educate groups and the company itself and trying to stop them / boycotting collaborations with zionists is the most disgusting thing i’ve ever read. i literally cannot believe that they were fighting tooth and nail to try and stop fans from speaking out and educating just so they could make a quick buck.

just had the thought 'in the end the most important thing varric taught rook was how to make a home for, with, and in other people' and then I had to go lie down on the floor and clutch at my head in unceasing agony for a few hours, as you may well imagine. hawke and the kirkwall crew........ in the end you kind of saved the world a bit in the most characteristically indirect and chaotic of ways. not by anything in particular that you did or achieved or accomplished (lmao imagine!), but just by -- having existed, and by the love that was always there, despite it all, in all its imperfections, even when no one was saved by it in the end. you're not here right now and you're not quite haunting the narrative but I hear your voices bickering and arguing and laughing from the other room. i'm not much for crossovers in the the traditional sense, but it IS one of my favorite character exploration exercises to just go like 'if x media existed in this universe, who would and would not be a fan of it?'. and these ones are pretty notorious and always very fun to mess with for that and so here we are
