oh boy i could write a whole essay about all the things that bothered me but i'll try to keep it short

spoilers for the game ahead so if you don't wanna know now is the time to stop reading.

i think the most obvious one would be joel's death but when it comes down to it, there are so many things that are even worse (can you imagine?) it wouldn't even make the top five. what really gets me is the fact that the writing is just. bad.

and not only bad but it completely negates EVERYTHING part 1 was about, everything that you learned about the characters and why you grew to love them, everything the game explored regarding morality and human nature, and what you're willing to do for the people you love.

it's so damn inconsistent with who is allowed to do what, who gets punished for which wrongdoings and who doesn't, who is allowed to walk away and live and who isn't. neil destroyed the joel and ellie they built in part 2 just to get off on abby's story and i mean that quite literally.

there is exactly one sex and nudity scene in the whole game and you can make one guess who it involves and who you see tits-out. i'll wait for an explanation that actually makes sense that isn't "it's neil's fantasy", cause that's exactly what it is.

Hmm, it would be difficult to mitigate that, seeing as they have to keep AK a secret for his own safety, BUT I do think they would still send him to a private school under an alias. (With Matt acting as guardian because I would think Matt is the one General that doesn’t make many(if any at all) public appearances.)

If AK was getting picked on, the concern actually falls on the bully. See, both Tom and Tord have taught him how to defend himself, not because he needs it, but because AK’s usual methods are too violent. AK is a little hellion of a child, and has actually become sweeter due to him finding his parents.

IF AK ends up in a fight and gets called on by the school dean/headmaster/principal, of course the first to defend him would be Matt (which will already suck for everyone involved because its Matt) while Tom and Tord have to pray that AK didn’t cripple his bully somehow, and at the very least only managed to dislocate something easily fixed.

Though, that still won’t stop Tord from putting the bully’s parents on a list.
