Whatever you do, don't think about the new Muggleborn 1st years wondering why so many of the ghosts are teenagers in modern day clothing and why so many people like to pet the air and they wonder if that's some kind of magic custom or something and not realizing that they are all petting the thestrals

Okay okay listen we all know that regulus was the “good kid” - the one who never spoke up, the one who took punishment with no argument, the one who always kept his head down and did what he was told to survive in that house
But listen the thing about these good kids is that they have a limit. And when they finally finally reach it they fucking snap. You thought Sirius was bad? Oh Regulus is just getting started. He kills his dad. Poisons his mom and gifts her with a long slow and painful death. Figures the dark lords horcruxes and kills one of them - all while writing a fuck you letter to him to remind him he was bested by a 17 year old.
After all it’s always the silent ones you need to watch out for

Time travel fic where harry is severely depressed, and decides to go back in time to a few years before he was born and befriends his parents and theyr friends and in doing so acedentaly becomes like the younger brother of James potter (who admittedly gets into way to much trouble and attracts the attention of voldemort by being weird and calling him tom when no one has called him that in years, and also on one even knows his original name anymore, so what's with this weird malnourished twink)

Harry would be as good as a liar as Tom riddle was, why? Simple bc he grew up in an abusive household where lies flow far more easier than truth and you do anything to avoid punishment. Thus, abusive houses produce great liars.
Harry would be smart like he was the child of the Head students, ofc he must be smart.
Harry would be a quick thinker and would possess a silver tongue, another thing you use to get away with punishments.
These are the reasons why harry would've been so similar to Tom riddle(and his equal romantically ofc) and a perfect Slytherin. Canon didn't have any of them, and it frustrates me.

You know what's the funniest part about Snaters reducing Snape's feelings for Lily into a schoolboy crush that he should have outgrown and making it seem like he was just lusting for her the whole time?
They're making the exact same assumption as Voldemort did

I keep seeing people talking about how Dorcas was killed by Voldemort himself and completely misinterpreting it as “she was so strong and powerful that only he could kill her,” which might’ve been what happened, but I feel like probably wasn’t the case seeing as he’s killed plenty of random people throughout the series and she was only really mentioned that one time.
But there could’ve been some other reason as well, rather than “oh yeah she was just really really powerful.” What if the reason Voldemort targeted Dorcas was because she kept talking to her old friends from Slytherin and making them question their loyalties and whatnot, and had even managed to make a few death eaters drop out of the war? Sure, she was a dangerous enemy to have, but what if another layer of that danger for Voldemort’s side was her way with words?
Imagine Dorcas fighting in the war and seeing her old classmates that she quite literally lived with for seven years fighting against her. Imagine Pandora telling her the reason why she couldn’t bring herself to join the order, despite how much she wanted to help, was because she couldn’t make herself do anything to hurt Evan. Imagine her continuing to fight with all her strength, but then tracking down the death eaters she knew from school just to see if she could talk them out of it.
Evan and Barty stayed, of course. They were loyal to Voldemort till the end but they would always leave her, one of the order’s best duellists, completely unscathed. But others would listen to her, growing more uncertain and starting to hold back more or try to leave the death eaters completely. She was a Slytherin after all. She would’ve had both the ambition and drive to find these death eaters individually, and the cunning in her words to make them question their loyalties.
Maybe Voldemort went after her after Regulus died, because he thought she had something to do with him betraying him, and maybe she actually did. Maybe she had talked to him, even if it was Kreacher that was the turning point, and he had to kill her himself because she could genuinely make them lose the war if she kept doing what she was doing. Maybe the power she had that Voldemort feared so much was the power to turn his own forces on him. The power to destroy his forces without a single weapon or wand.

The warriors fandom for years: Isn't it fucked how ableist the writing is? And how there's like, no canon queer characters? =(
The writers, accidentally stumbling into incest:
The fandom: Lol, she's gonna have so many fucking defects. Ableism? Intersexism? Sorry never heard of her babes ♡
It sure is
interesting
the way that suddenly it is acceptable to make jokes about ickygross deformed babies when the child is a product of incest. As if the child has any control at all over the circumstances of their birth. Like it makes it OK and funny to mock someone's health and appearance if it's from something that invokes disgust.
almost like they find it funny because the child "deserved" being born this way for being produced from something vile.
It's just so obviously shitty to me it's hard to put into words. People are capable of recognizing it for ANY other disabled person but not for this. Not the minute the target is "acceptable." I thought we left shit like Dorkly's Inbred Yoshi back in the 2010s, because we realized it was fucking shitty. But no. It's still going on.

Give me a tomarry/harrymort au where Voldemort loses his memories and tries to kill Harry, with whom he is in an established relationship by then. Give me the angst, give me the fear, the agony of having to run away from the person you love the burning anger as one wakes up beside his enemy. And then comes the earth shattering horror as the memories hits. Give me the all consuming regret and the crippling grief after Voldemort remembers what he has done or nearly did, but by then Harry is already gone.
Giving me the scene where Harry is smiling at Voldemort and Voldemort is befuddled. The scene where Voldemort sends his first crucio at Harry, who for some reason is looking at him, his mortal enemy with utter trust. The part where Harry looks at him with grief and confusion and V feels something break in him— a part that gets dwarfed by the seething rage, for he thinks Harry is playing with him, he thinks this is some elaborate scheme and so, he attacks, and for the first time in years Harry runs for him because he doesn't want hurt Voldemort.

tomarry time travel back to the 40s au, but instead of Harry Evans, it’s Harry Riddle who pretends to be tom’s half brother to convince Tom to not murder his father. Unfortunately, Tom isn’t easily fooled, and still finds out that Harry time travelled, but the plan worked out because Tom didn’t kill his father, anyway.
